Jiang Qiu is a renowned Alpha in New York, highly sought after despite her young age. When they meet again, Jiang Qiu is attending a friend’s wedding alongside her fiancée. The moment Yu Sheng sees her, she completely loses her composure. Jiang Qiu, however, looks at her coldly, acting as if they are total strangers. As a heavy downpour begins to fall, Yu Sheng tries to hold an umbrella over her. Jiang Qiu pushes the umbrella away, saying only. “Miss Yu, I cannot accept this.”
Later, Yu Sheng asks her if there are any genuine feelings between her and her fiancée. Jiang Qiu asks in return: “We have already broken up. I wonder what right Miss Yu has to question me?” Yu Sheng is left speechless, her tears falling.
Sometime after that, the ex who had once dumped her looks at her with red, tearful eyes, asking in a trembling voice. “Can I be your mistress?”
