Eleanor looked at his firmly planted arm. His shirt sleeves were all the way down, so only his white hands were visible.

Then, a red spot on the back of his hand caught her eye. As Eleanor fixed her gaze on his hand, Dreid seemed to notice and kissed her cheek lightly.

At the soft kiss, Eleanor turned her head, and Dreid, as if he had been waiting, bit her lip. At the same time, Eleanor naturally ended up lying on the sofa.

Dreid’s lips met Eleanor’s. Eleanor didn’t open her mouth.

Finally, Dreid parted his lips. Unlike before, he didn’t have a relaxed smile. He stared at Eleanor without any expression.

“Eleanor.”

His voice was even lower. Eleanor didn’t answer and just looked at him. His deep blue eyes, as if angry, turned to her and then averted their gaze.

Eleanor swallowed in the meantime. It was the first time she had ever seen such an expression, and it was also the first time he had turned his gaze away first. Dreid let out a soft sigh and slowly moved away from Eleanor.

Eleanor breathed a sigh of relief. She thought he was finally leaving. But as soon as she thought that, Dreid suddenly picked her up.

“Dreid!”

Eleanor shouted in surprise, and Dreid smiled brightly, meeting her eyes. His smile was brighter than before.

He started walking again. Soon after entering the bedroom, Dreid carefully laid Eleanor down on the bed.

Eleanor got up a little on the bed and looked at Dreid. He took out a contraceptive pill from the drawer and swallowed it in one gulp. He stood there for a moment after drinking it and then turned around.

Dreid said as he met Eleanor’s eyes.

“Eleanor, I want to be with you today.”

“The baby…”

As Eleanor hesitated awkwardly, Dreid chuckled. He strode towards the bed where Eleanor was sitting.

“Tell me whenever you’re ready. I think I was too hasty earlier. Without knowing what you were thinking.”

Dreid gently brushed Eleanor’s hair back with a soft touch. It was the gentle attitude of her husband that she always saw. But strangely, even that felt unfamiliar to Eleanor. Was it because she had seen his unfamiliar face earlier…?

Dreid looked at her, touching Eleanor’s soft hair. Eleanor frowned and asked him.

Then Dreid laughed. It was such a pure laugh that Eleanor was momentarily stunned. He laughed for a long time and barely managed to stop. Even so, a smile still remained on his face.

Dreid looked at Eleanor, who had come closer, for a moment and suddenly smiled.

“Eleanor, you seduced me first.”

Dreid didn’t stop. He naturally kissed her white neck. As Eleanor gasped and flinched, Dreid slowly raised his head.

“Do you hate me?”

Eleanor exhaled and couldn’t answer. She didn’t hate him. It was just that the whole situation was suspicious.

Dreid kissed Eleanor’s neck and collarbone, as if trying to keep her from thinking any further.

Eleanor’s mind was confused. She still didn’t completely trust him but somehow, she didn’t want to reject his soft kisses.

Eleanor panted. He knew very well where Eleanor was weak. His breath was getting hotter and hotter.

His hot breath touched her lips. Maybe it was because of his handsome face, but her heart was beating wildly.

She had spent many nights with him, but why was her heart beating so much more today?

Above all, his eyes bothered her. Eleanor felt like she had done something wrong to Dreid.

And Dreid seemed even more handsome today. Maybe it was because his cheeks were slightly red, or maybe it was because of the suffocating atmosphere.

His lips lightly touched and parted between the hot breaths. Eleanor looked at Dreid as if she had suddenly come to her senses.

Dreid smiled brightly and gently stroked Eleanor’s hair. Then, he suddenly got up from the bed. Eleanor looked at him, puzzled.

“Eleanor, if you don’t want to…”

“Dreid.”

Eleanor ignored her reason and called his name. Dreid turned around leisurely. It was as if he knew Eleanor would call him. Seeing that face, Eleanor felt like she was being drawn to him.

But she dismissed that thought. It was still true that she liked Dreid. It was also true that she needed him now.

“Eleanor?”

Dreid tilted his head as if he was curious as to why Eleanor had called him. Anyway, Eleanor was married to Dreid, and she didn’t hate him. She decided to just think about that for now.

“Dreid, stay with me.”

As Eleanor spoke, Dreid chuckled and closed all the curtains in the bedroom. The surroundings suddenly darkened.
