My Husband is Suspicious - Episode 30
Sensing Eleanor’s expression, Dreid spoke.
“So, I want you to take a break from work for a while. Before the Crown Prince threatens you more maliciously.”
“Then the subtle hindrances I’ve faced until now.”
“Because we don’t know what the Crown Prince might do.”
Dreid said calmly. Eleanor slowly inhaled. Her mind spun with the suddenly revealed truth. Dreid naturally wrapped an arm around Eleanor’s waist.
“Are you okay?”
“Yes.”
Eleanor nodded, but her mind was complicated.
‘So, the Crown Prince isn’t much of a threat to Dreid, which is why he’s threatening me?’
If all the interference with the agency was also the Crown Prince’s doing…
Then why did Dreid say he would investigate it? The Crown Prince would be behind it anyway.
Eleanor immediately raised her head and looked at Dreid.
“Dreid, then why did you specifically stop me when I tried to look into it?”
“Because I thought you’d just get tired and stressed if you looked into it. I just wanted to handle it myself.”
“Still, I needed to know about this.”
“You know now.”
Dreid lightly kissed Eleanor’s cheek. As Eleanor didn’t pull away, Dreid’s lips curved upwards.
“Are your questions resolved now?”
Eleanor nodded. After all, her biggest question had been resolved.
‘But why do I feel so uneasy?’
Strangely, even after knowing the truth, she felt unsettled. No, Dreid seemed to have explained everything.
“Eleanor, let’s pack your things now.”
“My things?”
“You weren’t planning on staying here, were you?”
“That’s…”
She had come all the way here to find out about Dreid. Now that Dreid had explained everything, she knew. Eleanor looked around. Come to think of it, she hadn’t seen Mackiv.
“Have you seen Mackiv, by any chance?”
Eleanor asked unconsciously. But as soon as she spoke, she regretted it.
“Why are you looking for that bastard?”
A low voice echoed. Eleanor had nothing to say. Mentioning that they had shared a room felt awkward. Even though nothing had happened. But since Dreid had been honest, Eleanor didn’t want to hide it.
After all, he had vaguely guessed she was here yesterday. That’s probably why he had done that to Mackiv.
“Dreid, actually, Mackiv and I…”
Just then, Dreid spoke.
“Eleanor, I trust you. Don’t mention that name again.”
Then Dreid found Eleanor’s luggage and packed it into a bag. Eleanor felt uneasy, but since Dreid had spoken like that, she couldn’t say more.
‘By the way, where did Mackiv really go?’
Mackiv had been quiet since last night. Did something suddenly happen?
Eleanor glanced at where Mackiv had been. The magic orb was still there. Just as she had seen it in the morning.
“Eleanor, let’s go.”
Dreid, having finished packing Eleanor’s things, said in a hurry. Eleanor had no choice but to turn around. She thought she would have to tell Mackiv about this absurd situation if he came to the agency later.

It was still raining outside. The heavy rain made Eleanor stare blankly at the sky. Dark clouds hung low and gloomy.
“Eleanor.”
Hearing Dreid’s voice, Eleanor turned her head.
The carriage was already waiting in front of the hotel. All the luggage had been loaded, and the carriage looked ready to depart at any moment. Dreid stood before it, more conspicuous than anyone else. Eleanor hurried towards the carriage.
“Get in quickly.”
Dreid personally opened the carriage door. Eleanor lightly got inside. As soon as she did, Dreid also entered the carriage.
The pattering rain echoed on the ceiling. Eleanor looked out the carriage window and said.
“It’s raining heavily.”
“It’s been raining since last night.”
Dreid said without looking out the window. His gaze was fixed on Eleanor. Eleanor recalled last night. Even though she had bugged his room, she hadn’t heard anything.
‘He probably didn’t go to sleep that early…’
Eleanor looked at his shirt. The hairpin was still there. Eleanor stared at the hairpin and bit her lip.
Honestly, it was too anticlimactic. No, did things resolve this simply? Moreover, Dreid had told her so easily. After avoiding the topic with a vague attitude all this time.
She felt uneasy and as if something was still unresolved.
“Eleanor, tell me if anything is bothering you. Are you okay?”
“Yes.”
Eleanor just nodded. But her mind was still complicated.
‘What is it… Everything is revealed now, so why do I feel so uneasy?’
Is it because of Mackiv? Because she doesn’t know where he went? Come to think of it, Mackiv had said he wanted to walk on the beach together.
Eleanor looked out the carriage window at the beach. Perhaps because of the rain, there were hardly any people on the beach.
‘Because I couldn’t keep my promise?’
It seemed so. After all, she had said that to Mackiv. But strangely, Mackiv wasn’t visible. Come to think of it, she had thought his room was unusually quiet last night…
At that moment, her eyes met Dreid’s. Dreid smiled, as always.
In any case, everything was revealed, and Dreid was safe. Yet, a part of her heart felt uncomfortable. Finally, Eleanor opened her mouth, looking at Dreid.
“Dreid.”
As Eleanor called his name, Dreid smiled sweetly. He seemed like he would maintain that smile no matter what Eleanor said. Eleanor, still feeling uneasy, spoke to him.
“Everything you’ve told me until now is the truth, right?”
Dreid nodded without hesitation.
“Eleanor, I’ve never lied to you.”
Dreid said in a low voice. His firm tone sounded quite truthful. His gaze was also serious. Eleanor looked at his handsome face for a moment before letting out a faint sigh.
Above all, it felt somehow apologetic to doubt him further when Dreid had spoken so earnestly. What she had seen at the cafe was all due to a pointless misunderstanding, a waste of emotions.
Eleanor didn’t want to repeat the same mistake. Since Dreid said he loved her, it wouldn’t be bad to trust him one more time at this point.
Eleanor leaned back against the seat. Her heart was still uneasy, but she tried to push those feelings away and looked out the window. Perhaps because it was too comfortable, sleep suddenly washed over her. She must have been too exhausted.
She had experienced more emotional drain than she expected. Her tension seemed to have completely released after hearing everything from him. Eleanor looked out the window with a languid feeling. Her eyes slowly began to close.
Still, it was raining outside, and the beach was visible, indicating they hadn’t completely left Delfos yet.
Mackiv.
Mackiv still crossed her mind. For now, Mackiv could be dealt with later. If she was lucky and he contacted her first, she could reply then. Since Dreid had never lied, it wasn’t a bad idea to believe his words.
Eleanor organized her thoughts like that. Then, she slowly closed her eyes.
Feeling herself being gently lifted, Eleanor opened her eyes.
“Dreid?”
He smiled sweetly and kissed Eleanor’s cheek.
“Rest in bed.”
“Dreid, I’m fine. Put me down.”
But Dreid just smiled and held her. Eleanor looked around. The mansion was the same as before. Eleanor stopped asking him to put her down. His large hand firmly gripped her thigh.
Dreid carried Eleanor to the bedroom. And carefully laid her on the bed.
It wasn’t night yet. Eleanor felt like she knew why Dreid had brought her here, yet she was puzzled.
“Dreid.”
His eyes were looking straight at Eleanor.
“…Aren’t you tired?”
Eleanor asked cautiously, but Dreid just smiled. He then moved on top of her and whispered in her ear.
“Not at all.”
His hot breath touched the back of her neck. Eleanor flinched for a moment. As if sensing her movement, his laughter was heard. He slightly lifted his head and looked at Eleanor. His sky-blue eyes seemed to sparkle unusually.
Eleanor gazed at his handsome face for a moment, then slowly lowered her gaze. His firm body was visible through his shirt. Dreid, perhaps aware that her gaze lingered on his body, chuckled.
He immediately bit Eleanor’s lips. Eleanor was momentarily surprised by the sudden kiss and pulled back, but Dreid’s hand pulled her closer. In an instant, she was pressed against his chest, feeling his hot body. She could even faintly hear his heartbeat.
Then, a soft tongue tickled Eleanor’s lips, stroking them gently. Eleanor gasped for a moment. But he persistently bit Eleanor’s lips and kissed her more deeply. His head moved, changing angles, and each time, Eleanor barely managed to exhale.
Dreid restrained Eleanor’s body with both arms and naturally laid her down. As she lay completely down, he began to kiss her in earnest.
His hot breath touched her. He pressed Eleanor as if he were starving. He persistently bit her lips as if she had no room to breathe.
“Hic, Dreid.”
When he slightly parted his lips, Eleanor finally spoke. Their gazes met for a moment. His wet eyes flickered strangely.
“Don’t meet other men from now on.”
“That person…”
Eleanor tried to explain about Mackiv, but Dreid’s lips immediately stopped her. As if he didn’t want to hear excuses, he gently bit her lips and then nipped them slightly. At the impact, Eleanor let out a small moan, and he pressed his body closer, kissing her.
His strong arms secured Eleanor’s body, and his firm chest pressed closer to her. Eleanor felt like she was suffocating for a moment and pushed his chest. Dreid didn’t back away; instead, he moved his tongue as if ensnaring her. Feeling like she would suffocate from his breath, she gently bit his tongue.
