Mistakenly Seen as a Scumbag by My Wife with Seven Personalities - Chapter 4
“Nothing? Not playing.”
After witnessing Gu Fei escorting an unfamiliar woman to the second floor of the bar, Gu Lian’s emotions grew complicated as she poured herself another drink.
Although she hadn’t gotten a clear look at Gu Fei’s girlfriend’s face earlier that evening at the company, Gu Lian was certain, based on demeanor alone, that this woman at the bar was not the same person.
The thought left her speechless.
She had assumed the events of the past would leave psychological scars on Gu Fei, but instead of scars, they seemed to have pushed her down an entirely different, extreme path.
Promiscuity.
Second floor.
Gu Fei followed Gu Yi’s lead into her room here.
A bouquet of roses sat on the cabinet by the door. Gu Yi picked it up, inhaling its fragrance lightly. Under Gu Fei’s curious gaze as she surveyed the room, Gu Yi moved with practiced ease to the living area, carefully arranging the flowers in a crystal vase on the coffee table.
The lighting in the room was warm and subdued, a stark contrast to the dazzling glare downstairs. The soundproofing was excellent, muffling the thumping music to near silence.
Though the surroundings were entirely unfamiliar to Gu Fei, Gu Yi’s presence allowed the tension that had gripped her all evening to finally ease.
Watching Gu Yi’s back as she gracefully arranged the flowers, Gu Fei decided against bringing up the evening’s award ceremony just yet. Instead, she followed the new rules Qin Qingwei had set for their interactions.
“Gu Yi?”
Moving quietly, Gu Fei sat beside her, helping to meticulously trim the flower stems.
“Do you stay here often?”
The room was clean, tidy, and warmly decorated. Gu Fei guessed it might have been one of Qin Qingwei’s residences before her marriage.
“Not really.”
Gu Yi shot her a meaningful glance, accepted the stem Gu Fei handed her, and placed it in the vase with a smile. Then, she looped her arms around Gu Fei’s neck, pulling her close.
They tumbled together onto the soft carpet.
“How did you know I like red roses?”
“You told me during our first blind date.”
Outside, raindrops pattered against the windowpane, a gentle, rhythmic sound.
Their eyes met, one looking up, the other down. Gu Fei’s gaze softened as she smiled in response.
A deeper smile touched Gu Yi’s eyes as she reached up to play with the smooth strands of Gu Fei’s hair falling over her.
“Right, I did tell you.”
It was Gu Yi who loved red roses, not Qin Qingwei.
Poor Qin Qingwei, that coward she had received red roses so many times but never dared to speak the truth.
“Gu Yi, the floor is cold. We should?”
“Kiss me.”
Just as Gu Fei moved to lift her up, Gu Yi beneath her fixed her with an intense gaze and spoke softly but firmly.
Gu Fei’s throat moved as she leaned down, hovering over Gu Yi, and slowly closed the distance.
Their lips met. Gu Yi’s cheeks flushed slightly as she closed her eyes.
Gu Fei’s kiss was gentle, just as Gu Yi had imagined.
But as Gu Fei’s kisses trailed lower, lingering at the sensitive curve of her neck, Gu Yi, lost in the moment, let her hands wander to the firm waist beneath Gu Fei’s clothes. Suddenly, she heard Gu Fei’s tender murmur.
“Qingwei!”
“Hmm.”
In the next instant, Gu Yi who had abruptly pulled herself from the haze of desire clamped a hand firmly over Gu Fei’s mouth.
Coolly adjusting her slightly disheveled collar, Gu Yi glanced at the bewildered, flustered Gu Fei. Pressing her lips together, she found she couldn’t bring herself to be truly harsh.
“Finish arranging the rest of the flowers and come watch a movie with me.”
“Okay.”
Gu Fei, still unaware of what she had done wrong, obediently nodded.
In the dimly lit living room, illuminated only by a single floor lamp, a wide television screen played a film. Having completed her task, Gu Fei glanced at Gu Yi beside her, whose expression remained unreadable. After a moment’s thought, she shifted closer to her.
Compared to the movie, she was more concerned about the person next to her.
Come to think of it, this wasn’t the first time she had watched a movie with Qin Qingwei. During their journey from a blind date to dating, they had watched films together seven times, three of which starred Qin Qingwei herself.
If not for Gu Fei’s insistence, Qin Qingwei would never have agreed to sit and watch her own movies with her.
And those three movie-watching experiences were unforgettable for Gu Fei.
To avoid feeling awkward, Qin Qingwei had employed numerous little tricks during the films to distract Gu Fei.
These included, but were not limited to, casually holding hands, accidental kisses, and pretending to fall asleep on her shoulder.
It was precisely through these small, intimate moments that Gu Fei could see past Qin Qingwei’s cool and gentle exterior to her adorable side, and their relationship grew deeper with each passing day.
Recalling their past dates, Gu Fei unconsciously curved her lips into a smile, unaware that her change in expression had been noticed by Gu Yi beside her.
Narrowing her eyes dangerously, Gu Yi spoke with a hint of displeasure in her voice.
“What are you smiling about?”
“Nothing.”
Shaking her head, Gu Fei didn’t want to dwell on the past. Her priority was to soothe her wife, who seemed to be upset.
Glancing at the movie she had little interest in, Gu Fei thought for a moment before letting her gaze fall on Gu Yi’s legs, clad in high heels.
“Qingwei, let me massage your calves for you, okay?”
“…”
Gu Yi, already annoyed by the first sentence, stared at her silently before letting out a lazy laugh after a long pause.
“Did you often massage me before?”
Shaking her head at the question, Gu Fei thought back and couldn’t help but blush.
“The last time was a month ago, the day we got our marriage certificate. That night, your back was sore, so I…”
Initially not catching on, Gu Yi began to understand when she saw Gu Fei’s inexplicable blush.
The smile on her lips deepened, and the displeasure in her heart was strangely replaced by a sense of rivalry.
She kicked off her high heels and turned sideways, placing both legs on Gu Fei’s lap.
If Qin Qingwei had it, why couldn’t she?
Gu Fei’s massage was just the right pressure, quickly easing away the anger Gu Yi had been holding onto out of stubbornness.
On the screen, the movie had reached a critical moment. Gu Yi glanced at it before turning her gaze back to Gu Fei, who was focused on massaging her.
“Stop for now.”
Her tone was much softer than before. Seeing that her efforts were already paying off, Gu Fei silently filed away “massage” as an effective method for soothing her wife.
“There’s another place that needs your attention.”
“Are you uncomfortable somewhere else?”
The innocent Gu Fei instinctively looked at other parts of her body, quickly recalling the two injuries she had seen on Qin Qingwei that morning.
“Is it your lower back hurting again?”
As she spoke, she placed her hand on Gu Yi’s lower back and began to gently rub.
“Ah.”
Gu Yi, having indeed been pressed on a sore spot, pursed her lips and leaned into Gu Fei’s embrace.
“Not there.”
She softly took Gu Fei’s hand, refusing to let her move it around.
“My underwear is so tight today, it’s making my chest uncomfortable. Help me massage it.”
As she spoke, she guided Gu Fei’s hand to the shoulder strap of her dress.
The fabric slid down her fair skin, revealing the familiar white lace underwear underneath.
She hadn’t changed it.
This thought instantly flooded Gu Fei’s mind, making her blush immediately.
“What are you spacing out for?”
Gu Yi gently pinched her earlobe but was soon distracted by the rose earring on Gu Fei’s ear.
Her gaze deepened for a moment as she inwardly scoffed.
“Hurry up, darling.”
She shifted to sit fully on Gu Fei’s lap, coaxing her softly.
“Okay.”
Already flustered beyond words, Gu Fei gently slipped the dress strap off her shoulder and carefully unfastened the bra clasp at her back.
As the clasp came undone, the jade-like skin freed from the white fabric nearly brushed against her face.
A rich, sweet fragrance enveloped Gu Fei, and the faint red marks on the skin held her gaze captive.
“Massage it.”
Gu Yi whispered seductively in her ear.
Gu Yi, with her red dress half off, leaned lazily against Gu Fei, her face flushed.
As Gu Fei replaced her palm with kisses, Gu Yi closed her eyes, tightened her grip on the back of Gu Fei’s neck, and murmured softly in her ear, asking her not to be too rough.
She didn’t want Qin Qingwei to find out she had broken their agreement just yet.
But her body had gone limp, and all that escaped her lips were soft gasps and moans, no words of refusal.
Just as Gu Yi thought things would progress further today, Gu Fei unexpectedly stopped after a few kisses and helped her dress again.
Meeting Gu Yi’s dazed gaze, Gu Fei blushed and whispered shamefully in her ear.
“Wife, I forgot to bring the finger cots again.”
“…”
“Can’t you just go in directly?”
Gu Yi teased her indifferently, tracing her collarbone.
“No!”
Gu Fei met her gaze, her face still red.
“Wait for me, I’ll go buy some now.”
As Gu Fei made to get up, Gu Yi pinned her down instead.
“Do you really want to make me wait like this?”
“Then, I’ll order a quick delivery on my phone.”
Gu Fei blinked, suggesting an alternative.
“…”
As the two stared each other down in silence, Gu Yi suddenly curved her lips in realization.
“Did we always use finger cots before?”
Watching Gu Fei prepare to place the order on her phone, she leaned in and kissed her lips softly.
“Mhm…”
“Can we skip it today? Just for today.”
Having gotten her answer, Gu Yi whispered temptingly in her ear.
Gu Fei remained silent, her face flushed, but the resolve in her eyes was unwavering.
“If you don’t agree, you’re not allowed to touch me today.”
Seeing Gu Fei unmoved, Gu Yi threatened her in a low voice.
But Gu Fei only frowned in hesitation for a moment before scooping her up and heading to the bathroom to wash up.
“Then let’s just sleep early tonight, wife. I’m actually really tired.”
“…”
Outside, the heavy rain continued to pour, while inside the room, Gu Fei quickly fell asleep with her wife in her arms.
In the dimly lit bedroom, Gu Yi lay on her side, nestled against Gu Fei, silently watching her sleeping face.
She wasn’t actually in such a hurry to get intimate with Gu Fei. After all, judging by Gu Fei’s reaction tonight, it seemed she only regarded the name “Gu Yi” as a playful alias and hadn’t yet realized that she and Qin Qingwei were two entirely different people.
But Gu Fei was a little rascal she only teased without taking responsibility. She said she wouldn’t come in, and she didn’t. While she slept soundly, Gu Yi, whose desires had been stirred, was left hanging. Even after taking a shower, the fire in her heart refused to die down.
Instead, Gu Fei’s words had only made her feel increasingly restless.
She had always used finger cots when playing with Qin Qingwei.
This meant that tonight, Gu Yi could experience something Qin Qingwei had never felt before.
How could she possibly give up so easily?
After silently biting her lip and watching Gu Fei for a while, Gu Yi took Gu Fei’s right hand under the covers, her fingertips gently stroking the knuckles.
After a long moment, a black slip nightgown slipped from the quilt and fell to the floor.
But no one paid it any mind.
