Mistakenly Seen as a Scumbag by My Wife with Seven Personalities - Chapter 30
Teacher, Can You Use Your Hand? Gu Fei: On How to Make Your Wife…
At some point, a fine drizzle began to fall outside. Even with the curtains drawn tightly, the pitter-patter of raindrops remained audible in the stillness of the dead of night.
The ceiling light in the living room illuminated the interior as bright as day. Even though Song Yanran covered her eyes with the back of her hand, she inevitably began to lose herself amidst the swaying halo of light. She silently swallowed the low gasps in her throat, her eyes reddening as her slender, pale legs tensed from time to time under Gu Fei’s light grip.
When Gu Fei slid up from the end of the sofa to kiss her, Song Yanran glanced at her with misty eyes. Her face was flushed as she raised her palm to cover Gu Fei’s lips.
“Go rinse your mouth.”
Gu Fei curved her lips in an obedient smile. She leaned over to the coffee table and poured herself a glass of water. As the warm tea moistened her mouth, Gu Fei instinctively stole a glance at Song Yanran. During their eye contact, Gu Fei couldn’t help but blush, and in that same moment, she swallowed the mouthful of tea.
“You…”
Facing her wife’s look of shame, Gu Fei licked her own moistened lips and leaned back down to lie beside Song Yanran.
“I just drank a lot of it, Teacher.”
Song Yanran, her face burning, shut her eyes tightly and turned on her side to face the back of the sofa, no longer wishing to meet Gu Fei’s gaze. Gu Fei let out a shy, soft laugh and embraced her from behind, taking hold of the fingertips Song Yanran had curled against her chest.
“Is Teacher thirsty? Do you want some water too?” Gu Fei whispered as she pressed lingering kisses against the side of her face.
“…No!”
Now sensitive to the very word “water,” Song Yanran shifted her legs slightly. She stared at their intertwined fingers with a crimson face and spoke in a low voice. It was only then that she noticed the ring was no longer on Gu Fei’s finger.
Gu Fei, who was constantly attuned to her wife’s emotions, noticed her gaze. A silent smile curved her lips, and with her ear tips flushing, she leaned into Song Yanran’s ear to deliver her “rogue-like” but deeply affectionate declaration.
“I took the ring off. But I’ve ordered a new pair of couple’s diamond rings, ones that belong exclusively to me and Teacher Song.”
Song Yanran’s heart began to race uncontrollably. She bit her lip and turned to look at her.
“When they’re ready, is Teacher Song willing to wear one with me?”
In truth, for Gu Fei, she only had one wife. But for all the personalities, they were independent individuals. To ensure her wife didn’t feel wronged, Gu Fei had to start with these small details, striving to make every personality feel satisfied.
Meeting the shy yet deep affection in Gu Fei’s gaze, Song Yanran proactively leaned in and captured her lips. Amidst the lingering kiss, Gu Fei heard her low, trembling voice.
“Once more, okay…”
By the time it ended, Song Yanran had fallen asleep in Gu Fei’s arms. They lay embraced on the not-so-spacious sofa. Even though a soft velvet blanket had been spread beneath them, Gu Fei felt a pang of heartache seeing the slight furrow between Song Yanran’s brows in her sleep. She carried her back to the bed.
Although she had been a bit enamored with the idea her wife mentioned of falling asleep together huddled on the sofa now that they were actually squeezed into that tiny space, Gu Fei couldn’t bear to let her stay there. Furthermore, Song Yanran had work tomorrow; there was truly no need for her to suffer such discomfort.
When the bedroom lights were extinguished, Gu Fei closed her eyes, holding Song Yanran in her arms. Though her body was tired, her heart was filled with contentment.
The next day.
When Gu Fei opened her eyes with a trace of drowsiness, she realized the room was still dim. Song Yanran had already risen and was sitting at the edge of the bed with her back to her, getting dressed. In the darkness, her bare, fair back was beautiful and mesmerizing.
“Teacher…”
Gu Fei instinctively moved closer, resting her head on the pillow as she reached out to lay a soft hand on Song Yanran’s slender waist. “Are you going to the shoot?”
As she spoke, Gu Fei sat up halfway to lean against Song Yanran’s shoulder, her long fingertips unconsciously stroking the smooth skin beneath her palm.
“…Mmh. Did I wake you?” Song Yanran’s face flushed slightly. She paused while preparing to fasten her lingerie but allowed Gu Fei to linger on her, her fingers curling slightly as she held the fabric against her chest.
“No… I was planning to accompany you today anyway.” Gu Fei pressed light kisses against her wife’s back, fully waking up amidst the faint scent of roses.
When her gaze fell on the shoulder strap that was nearly slipping off Song Yanran’s shoulder, Gu Fei froze for a second before naturally reaching out to help adjust it and thoughtfully fastening the hooks in the back.
“Since we won’t be able to find a new assistant in such a short time, I’ll be taking on the role of Teacher Song’s part-time assistant for the next few days.”
Gu Fei found a bathrobe at the foot of the bed to wrap herself in and stood up with Song Yanran.
“Is it alright with the company?” Song Yanran noticed Gu Fei’s slightly folded collar and hesitated. After a few moments, she stepped forward and looked down to help her straighten it.
“The urgent tasks have already been handled. I can take care of the rest from here; it’s no problem…”
With her eyes crinkling into a smile, Gu Fei hugged Song Yanran’s waist and clicked on the bedside lamp. As the light flooded the room, she couldn’t help but press a kiss against Song Yanran’s fair, flushing neck.
“If I stay here, will Teacher Song be happy?”
After a long silence, just as Gu Fei was starting to find it hard to resist leaving a hickey on that pale skin, she heard Song Yanran’s low, reserved response.
“I’m very happy, Gu Fei…”
The new director was very efficient, and there were no further delays during the shoot. By the next morning, all the filming tasks in the studio had been successfully completed.
However, after a meeting with the production team, it was decided to take advantage of the intensifying rain to shoot one more outdoor scene in the evening.
Dark skies, torrential rain, a car with sleek lines, and Song Yanran stepping out of it with an umbrella. Standing behind the director, Gu Fei watched her wife diligently completing her work. She couldn’t help but curve her lips into a smile.
Even though she was trying her best to treat each personality as an independent individual according to her wife’s wishes, she knew very well in her heart that her wife had only ever been one person. Like now—if she didn’t know her wife was ill, it would be difficult to realize that the person before her wasn’t Qin Qingwei…
When the shoot ended, Gu Fei took the umbrella from Song Yanran’s hand and guided her back to the car. It was a spacious commercial van that Qin Qingwei had been using for years. Since those two assistants had been taken to the police station, Gu Fei had been the one driving it for the past two days.
“Drink some water first.”
After pouring warm water from a thermos for her wife, Gu Fei sat behind her with a towel to help dry her hair. Although she hadn’t been drenched, the rain was so heavy that some dampness was inevitable. Mid-way through, Gu Fei glanced at Song Yanran’s long, moist lashes and reached out to touch her jacket.
“Change your clothes, Teacher.” The jacket was part of the costume—a black suit with a sharp design. While beautiful, it wasn’t comfortable for resting.
“No need. I’ll change at the hotel,” Song Yanran whispered, her eyelashes trembling almost imperceptibly as she refused.
This car was practically Qin Qingwei’s personal space, filled with her belongings: the script with handwritten notes on the table, the neatly folded thin blanket on the seat… Being alone here with Gu Fei made Song Yanran feel a certain level of torment.
“Are you feeling unwell?” Gu Fei grasped Song Yanran’s slightly cool palm, concerned. She raised her hand to feel her forehead.
Frowning as she gauged the temperature, Gu Fei proactively leaned in to touch their foreheads together under Song Yanran’s unreadable gaze. “You seem a bit warm. Did you catch a chill? Teacher, I—”
Before Gu Fei could get up to find the emergency medicine kit, Song Yanran caught her fingertips. Her face was calm, but her voice was somewhat hoarse. “I’m fine. Let’s just go back to the hotel.”
The drive back to the hotel was silent. Gu Fei checked on her wife in the rearview mirror several times but couldn’t guess the reason for her sudden shift in mood. She was even a bit apprehensive, wondering if her wife had switched personalities again…
It wasn’t until she accompanied her back to the hotel room. Just as she turned to close the door, before she could even turn on the light, Song Yanran pinned her against the door. Simultaneously, her waist was tightly embraced from behind.
“Teacher…”
Stunned, Gu Fei tentatively turned her head, only to have her lips captured by Song Yanran. In the dimly lit room, Gu Fei saw her wife’s tightly shut eyes and trembling lashes.
“Today… can I use my hand?”
As Gu Fei turned around and gradually took control of the kiss, she heard Song Yanran murmur the question. Gu Fei’s face turned red as she nodded softly.
“You can.”
Through four days of observation and her wife’s own feelings, Gu Fei could finally confirm that her wife’s body had fully recovered.
Song Yanran opened her eyes to look at her, the corners of her eyes reddening. She bit her lip and took hold of Gu Fei’s fingertips…
It wasn’t until late that night that Gu Fei understood why her wife’s emotions had suddenly spiraled out of control that afternoon.
Gazing at the moist blush at the corners of Song Yanran’s eyes, Gu Fei looked down, her forearms tensing in the bathtub filled with clear water. Song Yanran bit her lip and buried her head in Gu Fei’s shoulder, panting softly.
When Gu Fei whispered comforting words in her ear, Song Yanran closed her eyes in a mix of shame and helplessness. She hadn’t wanted to say it, but Gu Fei was a “bad student” who liked to bully her teacher. To get the teacher to speak her mind, Gu Fei had deliberately left her in a state of restless yearning at the critical moment…
“There’s no work tomorrow. Teacher, do you want to go on a date with me?”
Sensing that the negative emotions in Song Yanran’s heart had mostly dissipated—after all, the gloom had been transformed by Gu Fei into a sense of bashful annoyance—Gu Fei tried to find a way to divert her wife’s attention while they soaked in the tub.
By creating more unique memories belonging only to Song Yanran and Gu Fei, her wife likely wouldn’t be “jealous of herself” anymore.
Sure enough, after a few seconds of silence, Song Yanran blushed and pressed down on Gu Fei’s restless fingertips.
“Where to?”
“The rain will likely stop tomorrow,” Gu Fei replied with a double meaning, her ear tips flushing as she took hold of Song Yanran’s wrist. “How about we go camping on the mountain? We can enjoy the scenery after the rain, stay there for a night, and watch the sunrise the next day.”
“Mmh…”
Song Yanran’s brow furrowed as she bit her lip hard, unable to stop a low gasp from escaping. Realizing the sound she had made, she gripped Gu Fei’s tensed arm with a flushed face.
“Okay.”
