Life After Being Claimed by the Disabled Dragon Lady - Chapter 19
Long Ling leaned by the door, trying to hear more clearly.
But even with her ear practically pressed against it, she couldn’t make out the Evil Dragon Miss’s reply.
Who was the extra woman in the office? Why could she call the Evil Dragon Miss’s name so intimately!
Vi, she had never called the Evil Dragon Miss that!
Was that young Alpha dragon referring to her? Would the Evil Dragon Miss regard her as her little darling and like her strawberry scent?
Long Ling pressed her hand to her heart, feeling both nervous and expectant.
The door suddenly opened from inside.
She was met with the unfamiliar Omega’s cool pine scent. The person was wearing black high heels, about ten centimeters taller than her, with an extraordinary demeanor, and was looking her up and down.
“Where did this little dragon come from, Vi? Could she be your fiancée?”
The little dragon with silver-white hair had a soft face, ice-blue eyes filled with shimmering water, and a slight flush on the tip of her nose. It was the first time she had seen such a beautiful and non-aggressive Alpha.
Lorraine smiled at her for a few seconds before turning to look at Violet.
Long Ling’s jealousy diminished somewhat upon realizing the woman was an Omega; she had initially thought the person was an Alpha.
But it wasn’t certain. In the world she came from, two women could fall in love and marry. In this world, there was no rule stating two Omegas couldn’t be together.
Long Ling clenched her fists and quickly followed Lorraine’s gaze to Violet.
Violet was sitting in the office, draped in a long black military uniform, her wavy long hair pulled up, making her look capable and sharp.
When Violet saw Long Ling appear in the office, the ice in her dark-gold eyes completely melted.
Long Ling couldn’t help but curve her lips, and she eagerly walked to Violet ‘s side.
Long Ling’s bright eyes were full of stars: “Your Grace, I’m here to take you home.”
The light of the setting sun spilled onto her silver-white long hair. Tiny particles danced and floated in the air. Her elegant blue dress was lifted by the evening breeze, and the whole office seemed to burst with vivid color.
If one could see the little dragon’s tail, it would surely be wagging happily right now.
The little dragon carried a strawberry-flavored pheromone, mixed with a hint of the cold outside air, smelling clean and fresh. Within a few steps, the pheromone wrapped around her like a silk net.
Long Ling’s ear tips were slightly red from the cold, and the strands of hair near her temples were a bit messy; perhaps she had rushed over.
A fresh strawberry cupcake, but there was an outsider now, so she couldn’t enjoy it while it was hot.
Violet pretended to ask coldly, “Why did you suddenly come here?”
Long Ling quietly moved closer to her: “I finished the things at the manor today. Housekeeper Marcia found someone to help me build a crystal kitchen and gave me some servants. I told them to clean the tavern first, then I hurried over to find you.”
“I missed you a little,” Long Ling said somewhat shyly, lowering her voice, afraid of being overheard by Lorraine next to them. Her pale neck and cheeks flushed a soft pink.
Long Ling’s little action of secretly sniffing after approaching didn’t escape Violet ‘s eyes.
Heat rose in Violet ‘s ears, and her long, narrow eyes remained cool despite being pleased.
Long Ling was originally quite uneasy, worried about disturbing the Evil Dragon Miss’s work, but the moment she saw the Evil Dragon Miss, all those feelings were thrown out the window, leaving only happiness.
Violet had never thought there was any benefit to marriage. Being with an irritable and impulsive Alpha would lead to restrictions. When an Alpha encountered their rut, she would have to help the easily agitated Alpha, who couldn’t control their pheromones, find relief, and the Omega’s body would involuntarily enter a passive heat state.
But the Alpha in front of her was too gentle, making her feel that an Alpha’s rut might not be entirely troublesome.
Violet raised an eyebrow: “Next time, don’t rush. I will return to the manor after I finish work.”
Long Ling nodded: “I just wanted to see you sooner.”
She actually wanted to hug Violet but was a little hesitant, so she could only quietly sniff Violet ‘s pheromones.
Only a very light rose scent. Violet had also put on an inhibitor patch today, so even with effort, Long Ling couldn’t smell much.
Violet looked like she was watching a sweet strawberry cupcake secretly moving toward her, thinking she hadn’t noticed, when in reality their skirts and clothes were already touching.
A clingy little dragon, who wasn’t ignoring her, but was preparing a surprise for her.
Violet slightly curled her cold and beautiful lips, but she didn’t forget the distraction still in the office.
Her deep eyes held a dark shade, and she glanced at the standing Crown Princess Lorraine: “Have you seen enough of the show?”
Lorraine realized Violet was truly different from before. Such a cold woman could be so gentle when talking to the young Alpha dragon.
And she even allowed the other person to stand so close. She recalled that back in the Holy Land Magic Academy, any Alpha who dared to look down on Violet would have been burned to charcoal by Violet ‘s Dragon’s Breath fire.
How could Lorraine let go of this opportunity to tease Violet: “How could I have seen enough? Having a fiancée is different. Vel, you’re too stingy. With such a beautiful fiancée, why don’t you take her to a ball? How about you bring her when we hold a banquet next month?”
Violet merely spat out two cold words: “Lorraine.”
Lorraine was frozen by those two words. Violet ‘s differential treatment was too obvious.
She had intimately exchanged several words with the young little Alpha, but when it came to her, her legitimate cousin, she would only utter one word at a time, and her gaze towards her was indifferent, tsk.
Lorraine took out a cigarette from her pocket, held it between her slender fingers, and leaned elegantly against the wall: “Alright, I won’t disturb your sweet moment. I’ll take a walk elsewhere and might stay at your manor later tonight.”
Violet frowned slightly: “Don’t bring outsiders to my manor.”
Lorraine’s lips stiffened for a moment, then she recovered her usual elegant and charming smile: “Then I’ll come find you tomorrow morning.”
After Lorraine left, only Long Ling and Violet remained in the office.
Long Ling glanced in the direction Lorraine had left, and couldn’t help but ask Violet, “Your Grace, who was that Omega just now?”
Violet ‘s tone was light: “Crown Princess Lorraine, Her Majesty the Queen’s eldest daughter, and also my cousin.”
Long Ling immediately felt relieved. So she was a blood relative.
Violet looked at the Alpha’s dazed expression, thinking how she had rushed all the way from Ildari Manor to Grith Harbor just to take her home.
She had just been secretly sniffing her pheromones like a little puppy, thinking Violet hadn’t noticed.
Violet curled her cold and stunning red lips, and unhurriedly undid the top two buttons of her shirt.
The sound of buttons being undone suddenly broke the silence, and Long Ling couldn’t help but turn back to look.
Violet ‘s eyes seemed to hold the shimmer of autumn water, her graceful, slender neck tilted slightly back, her long hair cascading down like a waterfall. She beckoned to Long Ling with a finger.
“Come here and help me change my inhibitor patch.”
That sexy and seductive posture instantly reminded Long Ling of when Violet was pinned beneath her in bed.
She was instantly overwhelmed with blood rushing to her head. She desperately wanted to pounce on the Evil Dragon Miss immediately!
