- Chapter 14 - Forced to Marry the Prince 14
“Bath.” He suddenly let go of Yu Xianqing, pursing his lips, his face turning a bit red again as he avoided looking at him. “I like taking baths.”
“Highness…”
Yu Xianqing looked at his crimson ears and once again revealed a knowing smile. “I know a place suitable for a bath.”
The black horse had been left in place by Zelan. When it saw a beautiful human walking toward it, it gave a happy snort from its nose.
Yu Xianqing, draped in a clean cloak, nimbly flipped himself onto the horse.
Zelan froze for a moment; he had thought Yu Xianqing wouldn’t know how to ride.
“Humans from the Blue Star technology era also know how to ride horses?” he said with a frown. “I thought you all spent the whole day carrying a broken gun to go hunting.”
Yu Xianqing was stunned for a moment, then burst into laughter after a long silence.
“We don’t hunt.”
Just as an emperor might imagine farming with a golden hoe, Zelan actually thought they needed to hunt just like orcs. He said solemnly, “Then you people are truly useless.”
Sitting on the horseback, Yu Xianqing reached out his hand toward him and smiled. “Let’s not talk about that. Come up, Highness.”
Zelan didn’t need any help to get on the horse, but he paused for just a second before taking Yu Xianqing’s hand and flipping himself onto the horse’s back.
For the first time not holding the reins, Zelan’s hands had nowhere to go.
“Hold onto my waist.”
Yu Xianqing turned his head to remind him. His long hair was draped behind him, emitting a soothing fragrance. Zelan licked his dry lips and, ignoring the strange looks from the surrounding orcs, wrapped his arms around Yu Xianqing’s narrow waist.
“Hey,” he whispered, “is your technique okay? If not, let me do it. Don’t throw me off.”
Zelan felt Yu Xianqing chuckle softly. He was half-embracing the other, his ear pressed against the lean back, able to clearly feel the movement of the muscles and the vibration of the bones at every moment.
They were pressed so close together; Zelan had never felt so clearly that what he held in his arms was a cloud, yet also a ball of fire.
“No problem, sit tight.”
The black horse began to gallop, weaving freely through the mountain forests.
Horsemanship was an aristocratic sport that Yu Xianqing had learned since childhood, but no matter when, it had never been as exhilarating as it was now.
Covered in blood, with a gun, on a strange planet in the universe, galloping without a destination—he had never even imagined such a day in his dreams.
Zelan leaned against his back, his four ears obediently pressed against the human’s warm back. Hearing Yu Xianqing’s faint laughter, his ears grew hot for some reason. Only now did he remember to ask: “Where are we going?”
Yu Xianqing gazed at the twilight descending upon the distant mountains; the fire-like star lingered between the peaks, looking like the end of the world.
“To the mountains, to be savages.”
Zelan: “…Huh?”
Yu Xianqing only smiled and did not speak.
The terrain of this planet was full of high mountains and forests with frequent crustal movements; it was easy to find naturally occurring hot springs.
The black horse turned into a grove of trees. After an unknown amount of time, Yu Xianqing pulled the reins and stopped.
“We’re here.”
They dismounted, and only then did Zelan discover in shock that this was a naturally formed cave, incredibly spacious, with the air diffused with the hot and humid scent of wild flowers.
Yu Xianqing led the horse and tied it to a stone pillar by the cave entrance, asking the Zelan beside him:
“Want to go in and take a look?”
“Of course.” Zelan took the lead and walked in. After walking for a while, he looked back to see Yu Xianqing observing the surroundings as if taking a leisurely stroll. He reached out and pulled him, somewhat displeased. “You were the one who suggested the bath, can you hurry up?”
The big cat’s obsession with cleanliness kicked in late. Zelan truly realized that the fur all over his body was covered in the sticky smell of blood, like a thick layer of oil on the water’s surface; it was practically suffocating the cat.
Yu Xianqing took his hand and smiled. “We’ve already arrived.”
Zelan looked again.
Inside the deep cave filled with stalactites, a stream flowed slowly beside the path toward an unknown lake entrance at the end. Going deeper, the small path suddenly opened up, and within a naturally formed circular opening, there was actually a pool of warm spring water.
Zelan was already impatient to take off his clothes. Yu Xianqing’s gaze swept imperceptibly over the muscles and scars on his body, stopping him first.
“Wait a moment.”
He stepped forward, extended his finger to test the water temperature, and had the system check the components of the water before straightening up.
“It’s okay, the water is fine.”
The moment the words fell, with a “plop,” the spring water was suddenly churned up, and countless water droplets fell crazily from the air.
Yu Xianqing closed his eyes, and the water droplets instantly doused him with a “splash.”
Yu Xianqing: “…”
He wiped his face, forced to take a mouthful of Zelan’s bathwater. Droplets hung from his eyelashes and the tip of his nose. He looked up to see Zelan with most of his body shrunk in the water, his white curly hair wet, staring at him blankly.
“I didn’t do it on purpose.” Zelan’s leopard ears twitched as he observed him secretly.
The human’s expression was a bit dangerous; he wouldn’t be angry with him, right?
It was just that a wild beast habitually jumped in upon seeing bathwater…
Yu Xianqing shook his head and began to take off his own clothes.
He didn’t know why such thin and sparse clothes were taken off so slowly. Zelan stared straight at him, watching the human’s clothing decrease piece by piece, like peeling the skin of a lychee, as the fair skin was gradually exposed under those long hands.
Zelan’s Adam’s apple rolled, feeling a burning heat all over his body until the human lifted his head, stepped into the water, and walked toward him. He then turned his head away, burying most of himself in the water.
“Isn’t it said that felines are afraid of water?” The gentle voice roused Zelan’s consciousness. “Why are you burying yourself?”
The human’s gentleness made Zelan burn even more. In the enclosed environment, only a few fragmented glimmers of light spilled in through the cracks in the stones. Half of the human’s shoulders were exposed above the water, his white skin shimmering like pearls, and that black hair soaked in the spring water was like silk, flowing on the water’s surface like the night.
Zelan discovered with annoyance that he was hard. The flush behind his ears was hidden by the darkness, not clearly visible.
“I’m not afraid. You’re the one who’s afraid, right?”
Zelan suddenly stood up, water splashing everywhere. He turned around in an attempt to hide his embarrassment and snorted, “Scrub my back.”
There were no towels here; he could only splash the spring water on and slowly help scrub the other.
The orc’s back was thick and powerful, like a dormant mountain range, hiding a lazy energy. The muscles were clearly defined, as beautiful as the most exquisite anatomical specimen.
Yu Xianqing, however, saw the scars distributed over it like cracks. Most were already old, showing a faint flesh color, unable to heal completely. Even rubbing hard with fingers could only make the healthy skin turn red; the scars remained a deathly white color.
Counting them one by one, long and short, knife scars, whip marks, gunshot wounds—altogether thirty-six in total.
“Is it very hard in the military camp?” Yu Xianqing suddenly asked. “There are many scars on your back.”
Zelan turned around.
“Did I scare you? This was from a long time ago. There are whip marks from my father’s reprimands and injuries from battles. Cool, right?”
“Why did your father hit you?”
“When I was little, I was always causing trouble and playing pranks.” Zelan frowned, seemingly remembering some unpleasant memories. “My brother’s health was poor, and I would scare him every time. Father would punish me and make me copy books… Later, once, Big Brother lost an arm to save me, and Father hit me with the family cane.”
Yu Xianqing’s brow furrowed slightly. Zelan said nonchalantly again:
“It was my own fault anyway. I trusted Mother too much; she wanted to take me with her to commit suicide in the forbidden zone, but I didn’t listen and ran out on my own. I encountered a huge beast and almost died, and Big Brother saved me. Otherwise, I might not even have the chance to stand here.”
Yu Xianqing was silent for a while and didn’t mention this topic again, returning to the initial question: “You thought it would scare me, yet you ask if it’s cool?”
“Ha.” Zelan gave a laugh, as if finding it extremely amusing, teasing, “You weren’t afraid when you were killing people just now, could you be afraid of seeing just a few scars?”
“…” Yu Xianqing blinked gently, unable to even describe his own feelings; he just felt these scars were an eyesore.
Yet… they were unexpectedly beautiful.
It was contradictory, but as a designer, he indeed had a preference for such beautiful yet slightly flawed things.
Zelan stared at him, his heart itching. Yu Xianqing’s scrubbing just now hadn’t made a certain place go down.
His Adam’s apple rolled slightly as Zelan said: “Let me help wash you.”
Yu Xianqing tilted his head, his black gemstone-like eyes filled with a look of a half-smile.
“Is that so?” He reached out and touched Zelan’s Adam’s apple; the force was like scratching an itch through a boot. “I’m afraid the more you wash, the dirtier it gets.”
Zelan’s voice also lowered. He wrapped his arms around the human’s shoulders, his lips brushing against the other’s ear.
“How will we know if we don’t try?”
The water waves were broken, and the pitter-patter of droplets crushed all reason.
Yu Xianqing held the other with one hand and gently scratched Zelan’s chin with the other.
“Sit tight.”
The exact same words as when they were riding the horse just now.
The somewhat hot water slipped inside. Zelan’s eye corners instantly turned red. He grabbed Yu Xianqing’s hand, preventing him from causing trouble at his chin.
“I am not a cat,” he growled.
“You are.” Yu Xianqing’s eyes curved, his moist pupils containing a smile like spring water.
Zelan grabbed his long hair and leaned on his shoulder, the voice in his throat blocked as he said muffledly, “I am not! I am a…”
His voice suddenly shattered. Yu Xianqing held him firmly to prevent him from falling off.
He said again: “You say you’re not a cat, but only a cat would curl up in a human’s arms wanting a hug. Are you?”
“…” Zelan’s expression was dazed, but he still remembered his bottom line and bit his lip hard.
He was a fierce leopard, not one of those delicate and weak cats that needed a master’s protection!
Yu Xianqing gave a forceful thrust and repeated the question.
“I, I am…”
Zelan broke down. “Stop doing this, I will…”
Yu Xianqing lowered his head and bit, his teeth grinding. Zelan’s entire body went rigid, his muscle texture fully extended by his master, revealing beautiful arcs.
The entire fulcrum was on Yu Xianqing. Zelan was a bit flustered; he didn’t understand why the human, who was so delicate and needed a wheelchair not long ago, would possess such strength.
He had no idea what kind of human he had raised by unhesitatingly giving the highest-standard recovery treatment of the Imperial Mansion.
Perhaps the water was too warm, and the scent of blood still lingered imperceptibly in his nose. Yu Xianqing rarely lost control and flipped the person over.
Then, he took a bite of the vigorous muscles on his back, where those scars were shining brilliantly.
“No…” Zelan murmured, “It’s broken.”
“What’s broken?” Yu Xianqing’s eyes were deep. A section of his neck, graceful as a swan’s, rested on the other’s shoulder nook as he asked softly, “Where is it broken?”
Zelan’s earlobes were bright red. He could only sob and say, “Kiss me…”
Yu Xianqing smiled.
Zelan couldn’t see his face and turned his head back desperately: “Kiss—”
“You like me kissing you very much?”
Just as Yu Xianqing’s lips moved closer, he was like a traveler about to die of thirst in the desert who had found a water source, kissing madly.
After an unknown amount of time, Zelan felt Yu Xianqing touching his back and subconsciously shuddered.
After so many times, he only now vaguely realized that humans seemingly didn’t need to hunt, so they didn’t have canines, but those pearl-like teeth were exceptionally taxing when they ground against him.
“Does it hurt?” he heard the other say.
Zelan’s bit of orc stubbornness came up again. He stiffened his neck and said, “It doesn’t hurt.”
The human’s pleasant laughter came again: “I was asking about these scars. Do they still hurt?”
“…” Zelan was dazed for a while and turned his head again to look at Yu Xianqing, but he was pinned down. Since the two hadn’t separated yet, he didn’t dare use too much strength.
“At the time, a little,” Zelan said. “Now… it stopped hurting long ago.”
The human gave a faint “mm.” Zelan’s fingertips rubbed; he didn’t understand why the other was asking this.
The kiss that fell on the scars on his back was like a butterfly gently lingering on a petal, making Zelan instantly hold his breath.
The human said: “It’s very beautiful. It’s the most beautiful, most perfect back I’ve ever seen.”
Zelan clenched his palms. The orc’s heart was instantly like a sponge soaked with water, kneaded into a soft lump by the water, with overflowing emotions continuously flowing out through the cracks, streaming all the way through his internal organs.
His entire chest… was hot.
What a strange feeling…
Yu Xianqing had only said this casually when he suddenly felt something was wrong.
To be precise, it was Zelan who was not quite right.
His body suddenly flushed red, like a bow pulled to the tightest. Simultaneously, Yu Xianqing felt an anomaly down there.
Something had opened up.
Following the current, the human subconsciously moved. Zelan also had a strange feeling—it seemed the human had forced open some strange thing…
Yu Xianqing’s expression was a bit odd.
Countless orc sexuality posts he had read flashed through his mind, finally settling on one possibility.
Is that… the reproductive cavity?
