I'm a Professional at Being a Scumbag [Quick Wear] - Chapter 23
Chu Qiao moved quickly, and Le Yi couldn’t stop her.
Having already tasted the sweetness, Le Yi couldn’t resist, but she still felt something was wrong.
Things were slipping further out of her control.
Chu Qiao treated Le Yi like a precious treasure, as if she wanted to keep her in her mouth forever. Remembering what Le Yi had said, she was impossibly gentle.
Was this coercion? Probably not, since Sister was clearly enjoying it too.
Perhaps it was the atmosphere, but before long, Le Yi had gone limp. Feeling a little embarrassed, she was about to say something when Chu Qiao covered her mouth.
The fingers, still warm and slick, slid easily inside, dancing on the tip of her tongue.
A faintly salty taste filled her mouth. Le Yi opened her lips and bit down on the finger. Chu Qiao seemed to receive some kind of reward, her entire body lighting up with excitement.
She kissed the corner of Le Yi’s lips, then lowered her head to drink.
The flower, freshly baptized, couldn’t withstand another assault. Le Yi’s mind went blank, every inch of her skin stretching in pleasure.
Chu Qiao, captivated by the beauty before her, remained cautious, never daring to get too close.
Le Yi, willingly enduring the torment of this ant-like bite, held the back of Chu Qiao’s head, her fingers weaving through her hair.
Though Le Yi had intended to stop Chu Qiao, the latter misunderstood the gesture as encouragement and became even more absorbed in the act.
Le Yi’s grip gradually weakened, allowing Chu Qiao to grow bolder.
Chu Qiao took the jelly roll into her mouth, her tongue rolling over it, savoring the sweetness until it began to melt. She then drew in the syrupy liquid like nectar. She lingered, refusing to swallow it whole.
Le Yi’s patience wore thin. She yanked Chu Qiao’s hair, forcing her to look up, her eyes gazing upward.
“What’s wrong, Sister?”
Le Yi looked at her calmly. “Want to play?”
Before Chu Qiao could respond, she was abruptly pulled upright.
“Then I’ll play with you.”
Le Yi’s voice was shallow, like a gentle breeze that barely stirred the air.
The roles reversed in an instant. Chu Qiao’s surprised expression quickly shifted. She gripped the sofa cushions, biting down hard on her lower lip.
Le Yi was even more cruel than Chu Qiao, always stopping just short of going all the way.
“Enjoying yourself?” she asked, looking up at Chu Qiao. Tears glistened in Chu Qiao’s eyes, shimmering faintly in the lamplight like stars fallen into her gaze.
Chu Qiao stubbornly refused to speak, her upturned eyes red and innocent, making her look pitiful.
Le Yi’s heart stirred, and she instinctively wanted to comfort her.
Chu Qiao drew her legs up, her red lips parting slightly. “Sister, don’t bully Qiaoqiao.”
Damn it!
Le Yi cursed under her breath, all playfulness gone. She’d meant to punish the disobedient child, only to find herself the one being punished.
Chu Qiao clung to Le Yi’s head, her arms swaying like willow branches in the wind, soft and boneless.
Le Yi felt a surge of anxiety, quickly followed by release. Afterward, she kissed Chu Qiao, sharing the sweet, succulent fruit of their union. The mingled flavors of bitter, salty, and sweet—somehow tasted sweet.
Their breaths intertwined, indistinguishable from each other.
Chu Qiao held Le Yi tightly, refusing to let her pull away even a fraction. Le Yi wrapped one arm around her waist and cradled the back of her head with the other, the embrace exuding a sense of perfect security.
Whenever this happened, Chu Qiao would feel an illusion of being cherished by Le Yi, only to be shattered by reality later.
She thought this might be a post-event trigger, only activated after intimate moments.
That’s why she liked to seduce Le Yi in various ways, whether it was she embracing Le Yi or Le Yi embracing her, as long as she could feel this fleeting tenderness.
Le Yi held her for a while. When they finally calmed down and were about to get up and go to the bathroom, Chu Qiao clung to her waist, refusing to let go.
Le Yi turned to look at her. Chu Qiao’s eyelids were slightly lowered, revealing a hint of starlight in her eyes.
“Sister, have you been slacking on your exercise? Your stamina isn’t as good as before?”
Le Yi: “?”
Chu Qiao yanked her back, straddling her legs, and her hand slid down from Le Yi’s lips…
“Or shall I take care of it?”
Le Yi was provoked by the mockery in her eyes. She gripped the back of Chu Qiao’s neck and pressed her against the sofa back, intending to calm her down. But unexpectedly, Chu Qiao arched her hips.
“?”
Chu Qiao glanced back at her, her pink tongue resting between her lips, and purred coquettishly:
“Sister, pamper me~”
A sudden surge of arousal coursed through Le Yi, and she swallowed repeatedly, unable to suppress it.
“Why are you so provocative? Hm?”
Chu Qiao arched her slender waist, her snow-white hips drawing attention as if in invitation.
“Sister doesn’t like it? Qiaoqiao only acts like this for you.”
Le Yi’s eyes darkened as she gripped Chu Qiao’s waist and pulled her closer.
“You’ll die by my hand someday.”
Chu Qiao let out a soft moan, her breath coming in light pants. “Sister can let me die by your hand first. I’m more than willing to die for you.”
Le Yi kissed her, pinching her neck and trapping her lips between her teeth to silence those suggestive words.
Le Yi had always known Chu Qiao possessed remarkable stamina, a fact she was acutely aware of as she was worn down throughout the night.
The house lacked floor-to-ceiling windows, offering no view of the night cityscape, so Chu Qiao had chosen this place instead.
The new place was completely empty; even getting a glass of water required boiling the tap water first.
Le Yi went to the kitchen to boil water, and Chu Qiao followed her inside. After Le Yi lit the stove, Chu Qiao perched on the counter.
“Aren’t you cold?” Le Yi asked.
Chu Qiao wrapped her leg around Le Yi’s waist and purred, “Yes, I’m freezing. So hurry up and warm me up, Sister.”
Le Yi pushed the kettle aside, worried it might get knocked over during what was about to come. Impatient even for this brief moment, Chu Qiao leaned forward and kissed her.
Le Yi kissed her passionately, and Chu Qiao gradually drifted into a daze.
The water boiled, steam rising, but neither of them paid it any mind.
The house, once cold and empty, seemed to come alive overnight, filling every corner with warmth.
Le Yi couldn’t remember how she ended up in bed. She closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep, so sound that she didn’t even hear Chu Qiao’s phone ringing.
Chu Qiao, nestled in Le Yi’s arms, was startled awake by the phone’s ringtone. Displeased, she glanced at the screen and froze upon seeing the unfamiliar number.
Dusty memories resurfaced, and she instinctively pressed the answer button.
A deep male voice came through the line:
“Qiaoqiao, how have you been these past few years?”
“Uncle?” Chu Qiao ventured.
Qiao Sinian chuckled. “It’s me. I’m planning to return to the country soon and thought I’d visit you.”
Chu Qiao didn’t know how to respond. Her memories of her uncle had grown hazy.
She only vaguely recalled that when her mother was still alive, her uncle used to visit often, always bringing her pretty dresses or dolls.
“If you’re busy, never mind. I just want to see how you’ve grown up. Sanyue entrusted you to me on her deathbed, yet I let you wander lost for so many years… I… I’ve failed your mother.”
Chu Qiao recalled her mother’s gentle face and the times her uncle had played with her when she was little. Her heart softened, and a lump formed in her throat.
“It’s no trouble at all,” Qiao Sinian replied. “Just send me your flight information, and I’ll pick you up.”
After asking a few more questions about Chu Qiao’s well-being, he hung up. But Chu Qiao found herself wide awake.
She glanced at Le Yi, climbed back into bed, and curled up in her arms.
“Sister, Uncle is coming to see me, but I feel like there’s such a vast distance between us.”
When the Chu family was usurped by Li Xiaomei and she tried to eliminate them all, her uncle hadn’t helped her. For years, he’d ignored her completely, so his sudden desire to meet her now left her bewildered.
She couldn’t say whether this was good or bad. After enduring the most difficult times, she no longer felt such a desperate need for this relative. Still, he was her mother’s brother, and perhaps he had his own unspoken troubles.
After the Qiao family’s fall, they had always depended on the Chu family for survival. With the Chu family usurped by Li Xiaomei, his own circumstances must have been difficult as well.
Regardless, having another family member couldn’t be a bad thing.
Traumatized by what had happened, Chu Qiao became unusually insecure. She acted extra sweet and charming, clinging to Le Yi’s side, desperate for her love.
She also lacked familial bonds. Having no blood ties to Le Yi, she realized she was utterly alone in the world.
Qiao Sinian’s appearance perfectly filled this void.
Chu Qiao buried her face in Le Yi’s arms, listening to her steady, shallow breathing, gradually drifting off to sleep.
Before falling asleep, she thought, Maybe having another family member isn’t such a bad thing after all.
Qiao Sinian arrived in Xining three days later. Since Chu Qiao didn’t have a driver’s license, Le Yi drove to pick him up.
In his mid-forties, Qiao Sinian exuded a refined air. Dressed in a suit jacket and a long trench coat, he looked somewhat affected.
Le Yi couldn’t help but wonder, Isn’t he hot in all those layers? It’s August!
Qiao Sinian embraced Chu Qiao first, saying affectionately, “My darling niece has grown up. You look just like your mother.”
Chu Qiao smiled but said nothing.
In truth, she resembled her father more. Her only maternal feature was her eyes. Those inwardly angled, upward-curving phoenix eyes that exuded a fierce intensity even when expressionless.
Le Yi, like Chu Qiao, called him “Uncle” and greeted him. In Qiao Sinian’s presence, however, his usual warmth faded considerably.
He nodded slightly, then turned to Chu Qiao and said, “Qiaoqiao, this is your cousin Shan, your uncle’s nephew. Do you remember him?”
Le Yi followed Chu Qiao’s gaze to the young man standing beside Qiao Sinian. He looked unremarkable, short, and stocky. If Qiao Sinian hadn’t introduced him, she would have thought he was just helping with the luggage.
Chu Qiao had completely forgotten him. She nodded apologetically, which disappointed Qiao Sinian momentarily. But he quickly recovered and began enthusiastically introducing him.
“This is your aunt’s nephew, Chen Shan. You used to play together when you were little. Does that ring a bell?”
Chu Qiao vaguely recalled someone like that, but couldn’t quite place him. Seeing her uncle’s expectant gaze, she politely greeted Chen Shan.
“Cousin Shan.”
Qiao Sinian and Chen Shan exchanged a pleased glance.
Le Yi observed their subtle interaction, sensing something was off.
Chu Qiao had booked the best restaurant in Xining to welcome her uncle. After Qiao Sinian made a few picky remarks, he sat down and began enthusiastically promoting Chen Shan to Chu Qiao, like a salesman pitching a product.
“Your cousin is a top student at Columbia University, about to graduate with a master’s degree in management and economics, both with full scholarships. He’s exceptionally talented.”
Chu Qiao remained unimpressed. She handed the menu to Qiao Sinian. “Uncle, let’s order first.”
“Oh, great.” Qiao Sinian took the menu and started ordering from the most expensive dishes down, easily ordering over a dozen, without considering whether the four of them could finish it all.
After finishing the order, he began boasting incessantly, speaking nonstop and not allowing anyone to interject.
As he continued, his tone gradually shifted.
“Qiaoqiao, what do you think of your cousin from the mountains?”
Chu Qiao replied politely, “He’s very outstanding.”
Qiao Sinian puffed up proudly, his neck stretching. “Outstanding is an understatement. Everyone can see that. What your aunt means is this: she wants you to get to know your cousin better. If things go well, we’d like to arrange an engagement and have you marry after you graduate from university. With someone to take care of you, we’d be much more at ease. What do you think?”
Chen Shan cleared his throat, his face radiating confidence. “I’ll definitely treat you well, Cousin.”
Chu Qiao’s expression was about to crack. “Let’s just eat first, Uncle,” she said to Qiao Sinian.
Qiao Sinian fretted. “This isn’t a difficult decision! Your cousin excels in every way, wouldn’t he be more than adequate for you?”
Le Yi couldn’t hold back any longer and scoffed. “Adequate? With his 160 cm height and 180 cm… weight? Does that thick face of his make up for it?”
Qiao Sinian’s face turned ashen with anger. “I’m speaking to my niece!” he roared. “What right do you have to interrupt, outsider?!”
“You even knew she was your niece? I thought you were clueless. Now you’re rushing to claim family ties? Where were you when she was being bullied by those thugs? Where were you when she was scared and crying? Don’t tell me you think claiming the title of ‘Uncle’ gives you the right to interfere in her life?”
Chu Qiao remained silent throughout, her eyes sparkling as she watched Le Yi charge forward to defend her.
Qiao Sinian was stumped. “Chu Qiao,” he snapped, his embarrassment turning to anger, “are you just going to let an outsider ride roughshod over me?”
Le Yi, unwilling to put Chu Qiao in a difficult position, took her by the hand and led her away.
What a piece of trash!
Chu Qiao followed behind her, her gaze fixed unwaveringly on Le Yi.
Once outside the cafeteria, Le Yi released Chu Qiao’s hand and consoled her, “Don’t listen to that nonsense. A hundred of those pigs wouldn’t be worthy of you.”
Chu Qiao asked, “Then what kind of person is worthy of me?”
Le Yi choked on her words, irritation rising in her chest.
“Definitely not that pig Qiao Sinian. And don’t you prefer women?”
Chu Qiao drew closer, tilting her head. “I only like you, Sister. Will you marry me?”
Before Le Yi could answer, Chu Qiao added, “Sister, you’re so flustered… are you jealous?”
