I'm a Professional at Being a Scumbag [Quick Wear] - Chapter 21.2
Le Yi didn’t know how much time had passed; she only knew she had been dominated the entire time, often unable to even think for herself.
As the moon reached its zenith and the city gradually quietened, neon lights still flickering, Le Yi was so exhausted she couldn’t even open her eyes, letting Chu Qiao mold her body as she pleased.
Chu Qiao moved with mechanical precision, as if fatigue were foreign to her.
Le Yi’s body was completely drained. Her hands, limp around Chu Qiao’s neck, were lifted as she was cradled against her chest.
Chu Qiao nuzzled her ear, one hand on her waist, carrying her like a piece of luggage.
“Sister, the night is still long.”
Le Yi wanted to bite her in anger, but when she finally managed a weak bite on Chu Qiao’s shoulder, it was so feeble it felt more like a tickle.
Chu Qiao swallowed hard, her hand sliding down Le Yi’s spine…
Le Yi’s consciousness faded. When she opened her eyes again, dawn had broken. Her eyes, red and swollen from crying and lack of sleep, stung in the light, tears streaming down her face.
Chu Qiao wiped away her tears. “Sister, you’re such a crybaby.”
Le Yi wanted to retort that the comment should have been directed at Chu Qiao, but her throat was parched and her voice hoarse.
Chu Qiao pressed the limp, water-like figure into her embrace, bringing this night of absurdity to a close, then carried Le Yi to the bath.
Le Yi was willing to be placed in the bathtub. Only when she was immersed in the hot water did she feel a flicker of life returning to her.
Chu Qiao filled the tub and stepped in as well.
The bathtub was large enough to comfortably accommodate two, but Chu Qiao deliberately squeezed close to Le Yi, cradling her in her arms and washing away her sweat.
Le Yi found it pleasant to be served, so she closed her eyes and quickly fell asleep.
Chu Qiao kissed her lips gently, meticulously rinsing her until the water in the tub grew cold. Only then did she pick up Le Yi and carry her out.
Le Yi slept deeply. When she woke, she found herself in complete darkness, the disorienting sensation of time lost washing over her.
An arm slid across her, pulling her close, and a familiar voice spoke by her ear.
“Awake?”
Memories she had tried to suppress flooded back like a tide, shame rising steadily until her ears burned.
With a click, the bedside lamp lit up. The dim light wasn’t blinding, and Le Yi quickly adjusted, though her eyes still felt dry.
“Hungry?” Chu Qiao asked.
Le Yi didn’t feel hungry, but she was parched. She had lost too much fluid last night.
She turned her head, spotting the bottled water on the nightstand, and moved to reach for it. Chu Qiao gripped her waist, her long arm easily reaching the water and bringing it closer.
Chu Qiao twisted open the bottle cap and offered the water to Le Yi.
Le Yi stubbornly refused to take it. Chu Qiao took a sip herself, then pinched Le Yi’s chin and pressed it to her mouth, transferring the water into Le Yi’s lips.
Le Yi choked, half the water spilling out. Chu Qiao repeated the action, feeding her three or four more times, until Le Yi clearly resisted before stopping.
Le Yi glared at her. Chu Qiao met her gaze, and after a tense standoff, Le Yi was the first to look away.
Several teeth marks marred Chu Qiao’s shoulder, all left by Le Yi the previous night. Remembering the circumstances that led to these marks, she felt a pang of guilt.
Being dominated was one thing, but to react in such a way… her image as a steel-hard warrior was irreparably shattered.
Chu Qiao gripped Le Yi’s chin, forcing her to meet her gaze. She kissed the side of Le Yi’s lips and said, “Get some more rest. I’ll have someone bring breakfast.”
With that, she rose from the bed, lazily draping a bathrobe over her shoulders with a captivating languor.
Le Yi, startled by her own thoughts, quickly averted her gaze and buried her face in the quilt.
This is dangerous. I can’t think like that.
While waiting for breakfast, Le Yi quickly washed up. Chu Qiao hovered nearby, insisting on helping unless Le Yi firmly refused.
Le Yi couldn’t understand why Chu Qiao treated her like a child. Although she had been exhausted last night, after a good night’s sleep, her body had recovered almost completely, leaving her feeling refreshed and energetic.
Chu Qiao soon noticed this. After they finished eating, she hugged Le Yi on the sofa and kissed her.
Le Yi regretted not eating two garlic cloves earlier. Even if she had, she suspected Chu Qiao would still have kissed her.
Chu Qiao held her tightly, her arms wrapped around Le Yi’s waist, pinning her securely in place. Despite their similar heights and Le Yi’s sturdy build, Chu Qiao seemed to relish this closeness, burying her face against Le Yi’s chest and looking up at her.
Le Yi glanced down and asked, “Aren’t you worried someone will call the police if we leave together like this in public?”
Chu Qiao shook her head. “I’m not worried. They all know about our relationship.”
Le Yi fell silent. Ever since Chu Qiao had publicly invested in the drama she was filming, rumors about their relationship had never stopped. And Chu Qiao had never bothered to deny them.
Now, Le Yi wondered if this might have been intentional. With Chu Qiao’s influence, suppressing the rumors would have been effortless. Yet she had done nothing, allowing the gossip to ferment unchecked.
Lost in thought, Chu Qiao sensed Le Yi’s distraction and playfully bit her.
“Who are you thinking about, Sister?”
Le Yi deliberately said, “Well, it’s definitely not me.”
As expected, Chu Qiao’s gaze deepened, and she smiled, but her eyes remained unchanged.
“It seems Sister still hasn’t learned her lesson.”
A chill ran down Le Yi’s spine as soft, warm lips pressed against her skin, and the sofa sank beneath their weight.
Chu Qiao repeated her earlier maneuver. Le Yi felt her strength draining, but the restraint wasn’t heavy, so she mustered her remaining energy to fight back and regain control, only to be brutally suppressed.
How come I never noticed before how strong this little brat is?
Chu Qiao’s lips curled into a smirk, her eyes holding a profound meaning.
“I’ve always been letting you win. You didn’t think I was actually weak, did you?”
Yes, Le Yi answered inwardly.
In her mind, Chu Qiao had always been the little crybaby, so she naturally overlooked her physical strength.
Now that she thought about it, Chu Qiao was two centimeters taller than her and physically stronger. So she hadn’t lied; Chu Qiao had indeed been letting her win all along.
Chu Qiao pinned Le Yi’s hands behind her back, pressing her against the sofa and aligning her body along Le Yi’s back. Her lips brushed against Le Yi’s ear.
“I won. The winner gets to enjoy the loser.”
Le Yi’s face darkened. What kind of rule is this? Did I even agree to this?!
Chu Qiao paid no heed to her consent. She made the rules, and if she said she was going to enjoy her, then she would.
Le Yi lay sprawled on the sofa, a position that couldn’t be more convenient.
Chu Qiao kissed the back of her neck, gently nipping. Le Yi felt again like a piece of meat being held in the jaws of a starving wolf.
Le Yi realized her usual stamina was utterly worthless against Chu Qiao. No matter how spirited she started out, she always ended up a limp, puddled mess.
Half the sofa cushions slid to the floor during their tussle, and the pillows lay scattered in disarray.
Le Yi felt all the water she’d drunk earlier draining out of her, leaving her mouth parched and her throat burning.
For the first time, Chu Qiao ignored Le Yi’s needs, like a crazed beast driven by insatiable hunger.
Left to fend for herself, Le Yi reached for the water on the table, only to be yanked back by Chu Qiao, spilling the water and soaking the carpet.
Growing increasingly frustrated, Le Yi slapped Chu Qiao hard, leaving a red mark on her arm. Chu Qiao looked at her innocently, hurt.
Le Yi turned away, resisting the urge to succumb to Chu Qiao’s charm. She pushed her aside and headed toward the kitchen. Thinking Le Yi was trying to escape, Chu Qiao grabbed her wrist, refusing to let her go.
“I just need a sip of water! I’m dying of thirst!” Le Yi shouted, exasperated.
Only then did Chu Qiao react, letting her sit down while she fetched the water herself.
Every ounce of Chu Qiao’s flesh was intelligent, growing precisely where it should—shoulders, waist, legs—her muscles firm and toned, her contours sleeker than those of someone who had spent years training.
At least Le Yi was envious. She prided herself on her figure, but she still couldn’t compare to Chu Qiao.
Chu Qiao brought over a bottle of water, twisted off the cap, and offered it to Le Yi. This time, Le Yi didn’t stubbornly refuse like last night; she was truly dying of thirst.
Only after drinking more than half the bottle did Le Yi feel like she was finally alive again. Chu Qiao finished the remaining half, then wrapped her arms around Le Yi and sat down on the sofa.
Le Yi felt awkward. Given the tense atmosphere from last night, were they really in a position to sit so casually together?
Logically, after being betrayed by her closest person, shouldn’t Chu Qiao have gone through a period of despondency, then had an epiphany and abandoned romance to focus solely on her career?
This development seemed… off.
Le Yi only knew she was supposed to play the scummy villain. She hadn’t anticipated any further role after that. She’d thought her part was done, but now Chu Qiao had trapped her here, leaving her with nothing to do but eat, drink, and…
Emmm, this doesn’t make sense.
She wanted to summon the System for clarification, but it remained unresponsive, as if deliberately playing dead.
Damn it, you’re the one who got me into this, aren’t you?
Le Yi clenched her teeth so hard she nearly cracked them, her gaze meeting Chu Qiao’s deep eyes, which reflected her face clearly.
“Restored your strength?” Chu Qiao asked.
Le Yi tensed, adopting a defensive posture. “What do you want?”
Chu Qiao leaned closer, her voice soft. “Sister knows.”
Stop playing the victim! I don’t know anything!
But Chu Qiao always found a way to make her know, relentless and tireless in her efforts.
Days blurred into nights, and nights into days. It wasn’t until a phone call woke her during what felt like daytime that Le Yi realized four days had passed.
During those four days, she hadn’t left the suite.
She had paced every corner of the bedroom, living room, balcony, and kitchen so many times that the sound of a door opening now filled her with dread.
Zhu Qiong had called multiple times—over a dozen unanswered calls piled up.
Every time Zhu Qiong called, it wasn’t the right moment. To prevent Chu Qiao from indulging her twisted amusement, Le Yi had to preemptively hang up or even throw her phone across the room, determined to keep it out of Chu Qiao’s reach.
Now that Chu Qiao was absent, Le Yi finally answered the call. Zhu Qiong’s anxious voice came through:
“Xiao Yi, where have you been? We can’t find you anywhere!”
Le Yi only realized how hoarse her voice was when she spoke. Her throat had been sore for days.
“It’s nothing, don’t worry.”
Hearing her voice, Zhu Qiong grew even more concerned.
“But your voice sounds terrible! Where are you?”
The day Chu Qiao took Le Yi away, Zhu Qiong had seen it happen. Though she found it strange at the time, she hadn’t thought much of it. But with Le Yi missing for so long and Chu Qiao nowhere to be found, suspicion was inevitable.
Combined with the earlier rumors, she couldn’t help but want to get to the bottom of things.
Le Yi shifted positions lazily and drawled, “I’m really fine. If anything was wrong, I’d ask you to call the police.”
After a moment of silence, Zhu Qiong asked, “Are you with Chu Qiao?”
Le Yi didn’t know how to answer, and Zhu Qiong took her silence as tacit agreement.
Another half-minute passed in silence. Just as Le Yi was about to hang up, Zhu Qiong spoke again.
“Little Yi, Chu Qiao is a child we watched grow up. How could you do this to her?”
Le Yi: “?”
Who’s doing what to whom now?
Chu Qiao materialized behind Le Yi like a specter and snatched her phone.
“Sister and I are both willing,” Chu Qiao said into the phone, her eyes fixed on Le Yi. “Isn’t that right, Sister?”
Le Yi, of course, refused to answer. Chu Qiao slapped her on the buttock, and Le Yi’s startled gasp rang clearly into Zhu Qiong’s ear.
Chu Qiao hung up the phone before Le Yi could even respond, sealing her lips with a kiss before Le Yi could scold her.
Le Yi pushed her away, her hand meeting softness. Chu Qiao released her, her eyes filled with playful mischief.
“If you like them, feel free to touch them more. Both are yours.”
Le Yi was speechless, having been outwitted by Chu Qiao. Two hours later, when the housekeeper came to change the sheets, she noticed something was amiss with the way the two were looking at each other.
Le Yi wrapped herself in a bathrobe, her back turned to the bedroom, while Chu Qiao strolled in and out with brazen nonchalance.
After the housekeeper left, Le Yi sternly told Chu Qiao that she was leaving. Chu Qiao sat on the sofa, her long legs crossed, looking lazy and alluring.
“Fine, Sister, go ahead. I won’t stop you.”
Le Yi found this strange. Would she really be so considerate? But she couldn’t dwell on it. She returned to the bedroom to change, only to find her dress torn to shreds, leaving her nothing to wear.
She rushed back out and tried the door, which was locked as she’d expected.
“So this is your idea of ‘not stopping me’?” she demanded.
Chu Qiao raised an eyebrow, her chin propped in one hand. “I never said I’d let you out, just that I wouldn’t stop you.”
Le Yi lost all reason and lunged at her in a desperate struggle. Chu Qiao effortlessly pulled her into her arms.
“Why are you throwing yourself into my arms, Sister?”
Le Yi slapped her hands and kicked her legs, acting like a petulant child.
Chu Qiao kissed her cheek and pulled her onto her lap, ignoring her resistance completely. Her hands were slapped red, and a large patch of her thigh turned crimson, but she refused to let go even a little.
Le Yi was willing to give up the struggle, but she kept dodging and weaving, refusing to let Chu Qiao have her way.
You’re the female lead! Get out there and pursue your ambitions—I’m counting on you to complete my mission!
She roared inwardly, but it was useless.
Chu Qiao had no interest in pursuing her ambitions; her sole desire was to have Le Yi.
The sofa, now bearing more weight than it was designed to withstand, began to sag in the middle. Chu Qiao seemed dissatisfied with this and turned her gaze toward the floor-to-ceiling window.
As the evening chill settled in, the glass grew cold. Le Yi shivered and instinctively shrank back.
Chu Qiao held her, preventing her from escaping.
“Sister, is the night view nice?”
A thousand curses flashed through Le Yi’s mind. Are you here to admire the view? I don’t even want to scold you!
Chu Qiao leaned closer, her voice soft as smoke. “Does Sister think this isn’t a good view? But didn’t you ask me the same question once?”
Le Yi froze, vaguely recalling the incident.
So this bitch was getting her revenge!
At first, Le Yi could still stand on her own, but eventually, she had to rely entirely on Chu Qiao’s strength.
As the night deepened and the city began to sleep, someone confessed their love, unwilling to let go of day or night.
On the evening of the sixth day, Le Yi decided she couldn’t go on like this any longer.
Just as Chu Qiao went to take a shower, Le Yi secretly put on her clothes and slipped out during the brief interval when the server came to deliver food.
Since the release of her movie, her popularity had surged. Someone might recognize her.
Seeing the blue sky and white clouds, breathing in the fresh air, Le Yi couldn’t care about anything else. She reveled in the sensation of freedom.
Without lingering, she hailed a taxi from the roadside and went to a place Chu Qiao didn’t know about.
It was a place she had bought for a bargain, with decent transportation but nothing else to recommend it. Now, it had become her sanctuary.
Inside were her clothes. After a hot shower and a change, she waited for nightfall to go out and buy some food.
She hadn’t felt hungry at the hotel, but now she was famished.
Given Chu Qiao’s resources, it was only a matter of time before she discovered her address. Le Yi needed a foolproof plan.
But Chu Qiao was completely obsessed with her now, her mind consumed by infatuation. How could she convince Chu Qiao to focus on her career instead of chasing after her?
Lost in her thoughts, Le Yi didn’t notice someone at the stairwell. As she approached, a hand grabbed her and dragged her into a corner.
Terrified and speechless, she looked up to see Chu Qiao’s dark and menacing face.
Chu Qiao glared at her, her eyes burning with fury. Caught red-handed, Le Yi was at a loss for words.
“Why are you running?”
Her voice was icy, like it had been tempered in frost.
Le Yi calmed down, her tone even. “I simply hate that kind of life. I yearn for freedom. You can’t lock me up.”
Chu Qiao trapped her in the crook of her arm, her face appearing even colder in the dim light.
“I was wrong. I haven’t even started locking you up yet.”
Her tone suddenly softened, but Le Yi felt a chill in her heart. She raised her voice in protest.
“Why do you insist on keeping me by your side?!”
Chu Qiao was thoroughly enraged. “Then why won’t you love me even a little?! Is my love just disposable trash to you? Can I be casually discarded too?”
As she spoke, her voice grew softer. “Why did you even bother to pick me up in the first place?”
Le Yi’s heart ached, as if pricked by a needle.
“That’s different. You can’t compare the two.”
“In my heart, they’re the same. You picked me up, so you have to take responsibility for me.”
With those words, she pressed her hand against the back of Le Yi’s head and kissed her.
