I Ran Away After Flirting with the Goddess - Chapter 13
Chapter 13
Even through the screen, An Rongrong could smell the pungent scent of jealousy wafting from the comments.
If the person in the photo weren’t her, An Rongrong would have wanted to rush in and rip Shen Lishu’s hat right off that person’s head!
Where did this bitch come from, daring to leech off Big Sister’s fame? She was a “pure fan,” after all!
But the embarrassing thing now was that she was the bitch wearing Big Sister’s hat.
An Rongrong: “…”
An Rongrong bit her finger, feeling a faint, bad premonition. Shen Lishu’s traffic and popularity were immense; any minor stir could land her at the tail end of the trending searches. Not to mention, the heat from yesterday’s scandal hadn’t subsided yet.
In the comments of that Weibo post featuring her in the hat, people were already trying to dig up her identity.
As a fan herself, An Rongrong understood her fellow “sisters'” psyche all too well. On the surface, they act to protect Big Sister from bad press, but in private, they strip the identity of anyone who gets within a few miles of her down to the bone.
‘Is this person trying to leech fame?’
‘Who is this person to Big Sister?’
If they found out she was acting opposite Big Sister without having been officially announced yet, it would be like poking a hornet’s nest.
‘Since when can just anyone enter the entertainment industry to act with Big Sister? Does she have a gold mine at home, or did she use the power of money?’
At that point, the extremist “career fans” might come out first trashing the minor actress for dragging the movie down, then dissing Big Sister for not knowing how to pick a script. If they found out the two were acting in a Yuri (Girls’ Love) drama…
An Rongrong began to wonder what color she should choose for her funeral urn.
After arriving at the film set, An Rongrong didn’t put on makeup or pick up her script. She curled up like a little mushroom in a corner, staring at her phone.
The assistant director came over to call her, “Rongrong, go get your makeup and clothes changed. Director Mao is pushing.”
“Coming, coming!” An Rongrong had no choice but to put her phone away and run to the temporary dressing room before Director Mao hopped on the mic.
She took a deep breath, pushed the photo incident aside for a moment, and sat in the chair, looking at herself in the mirror. To fit the forest-style, quiet personality of Luo Yue, the makeup artist braided her hair into a fishtail and dressed her in a white floral dress.
The dress had a cinched waist, and the long skirt swept past her calves, perfectly showcasing An Rongrong’s delicate and slender curves. Standing there in white canvas shoes, she looked exactly like the sweet girl-next-door.
The casual attire today was because they were filming outdoor scenes. After Ye Tan and Luo Yue fall passionately in love, they naturally have to do all the things couples do like eating, watching movies, playing claw machines, and shopping.
An Rongrong admired herself in the mirror for a bit, thinking she looked decent. Even the makeup artist praised her skin for being as fair and pink as a fresh peach.
Besides, she was cute and didn’t cause trouble! Her “sisters” could rest easy handing Big Sister over to her; she was nothing like those “flamboyant sluts” out there! She would definitely treat Big Sister well!
Having finished her self-motivation, An Rongrong walked out with her head held high like a white swan.
Shen Lishu’s dressing room was right next to hers. An Rongrong stood at the door, her toes gripping the inside of her shoes, her eyes constantly peeking through the half-open door. Just as she was hesitating whether to knock and tell Shen Lishu about the photo, the door opened from the inside.
Shen Lishu emerged, finished with her makeup and wardrobe.
In the drama, Ye Tan’s personality is fiery, extroverted, and cheerful, so her casual clothes were particularly hot. Shen Lishu’s long wavy hair cascaded down her back; she wore a low-cut camisole and hot pants, with a red cardigan draped over her arm.
This outfit showcased every single advantage of Shen Lishu’s figure. An Rongrong’s eyes literally could not move away from Shen Lishu’s two dazzlingly white, long legs.
An Rongrong stole a glance at Shen Lishu’s impressive “career line” (cleavage), then looked down at her own. She couldn’t help but look away, shrugging her shoulders and crossing her arms to hide herself.
Sister is just too spicy. Compared to “sexy,” “cute” was worth nothing.
Shen Lishu put on the red cardigan and reached back to toss her hair. A simple, casual movement, yet when she did it, she looked like a seductive enchantress. An Rongrong wanted nothing more than to hang onto her and cover up all the “grand scenery” on her chest.
“Why is your face so red?” Shen Lishu saw An Rongrong biting her lip and standing silently before her. She reached out and touched the back of her hand to An Rongrong’s face. “You didn’t get heatstroke, did you?”
“No, no.” An Rongrong cupped her own face and changed the subject. “Director Mao is calling for people, let’s head over.”
The movie theater scene was to be filmed later; right now, they were filming Ye Tan taking Luo Yue to the claw machine.
The claw machine was already prepared. While Director Mao was still overseeing the lighting and equipment adjustments, Shen Lishu fished out two coins to take a practice turn.
“Which one do you want?” Shen Lishu looked sideways at An Rongrong, tilting her chin up slightly. “The little bunny or the panda?”
An Rongrong froze for a second, then her eyes sparkled instantly. She looked at Shen Lishu with excitement. “For me?”
“Mhm. I’m very good at the claw machine. I’ll catch one for you,” Shen Lishu said as she dropped a coin in, her hand resting on the joystick. “Which kind do you like?”
An Rongrong leaned against the transparent plastic glass of the machine, her eyes darting around as she picked seriously. Finally, she pointed at a round little panda and said, “That one, that one! I want that one.”
At the same moment Shen Lishu pressed the confirmation button, the name “An Rongrong” climbed onto the tail end of the trending searches.
Unlike an ordinary 18th-tier actress, An Rongrong had debuted from a girl group survival show. Since she was in a group, there were naturally “solo stans” of other members who were hostile towards her. These people, combined with An Rongrong’s anti-fans, were enough to use Shen Lishu’s momentum to push An Rongrong to the front of the trending list.
