I Got A Girlfriend After Losing My Memory (Transmigration) - Chapter 25.2
For some reason, Tao Ran let out a sigh of relief.
She took the little girl’s soft, pale hand and sat down beside her.
“After your car accident, I told everyone you were traveling abroad. So your parents still think you’re on vacation and don’t know you’ve woken up.”
There wasn’t really anything she couldn’t tell Tang Fuzhi about her parents. They were an ordinary family who had raised a son and a daughter.
Tao Ran had avoided mentioning them partly because Tang Fuzhi’s parents hadn’t been very present in her life, and partly because she wanted to establish herself in Tang Fuzhi’s life first.
Tang Fuzhi learned about her parents from Tao Ran.
The couple ran a small business. Due to the mother’s poor health, they hadn’t been able to have children for years after getting married, so they adopted Tang Fuzhi.
Just a few months after adopting Tang Fuzhi, the mother discovered she was pregnant and gave birth to a daughter nine months later.
Although one daughter was biological and the other adopted, the kind-hearted couple treated them equally well. They were especially good to Tang Fuzhi, and her younger sister was particularly attached to her.
Tang Fuzhi tilted her head, feeling like something was off.
If Tao Ran was telling the truth, Tang Fuzhi should have grown up in a harmonious family environment. So why did mentioning her parents and sister evoke absolutely no emotional response in her?
Yet when she first woke up, merely hearing Tao Ran’s name had stirred a faint sense of familiarity within her. This feeling had reached its peak when she finally saw Tao Ran in person.
That was why she had placed such unwavering trust in Tao Ran throughout the past week.
Tao Ran lowered her gaze to Tang Fuzhi, who stood before her. The young woman’s cheeks were puffed out, making her look soft and pinchable. Her amber eyes were clear and pure, reflecting only Tao Ran’s image.
Her rosy lips were pressed tightly together, as if she were deep in thought.
Tao Ran gently stroked Tang Fuzhi’s head, her eyes darkening as she watched the young woman intently, not wanting to miss a single flicker of emotion. “If you want to see them, I’ll arrange it in a few days.”
Tang Fuzhi considered this. Perhaps her lack of strong feelings when hearing about her parents stemmed from having already seen them.
She had always trusted Tao Ran implicitly. Since Tao Ran had promised to arrange the meeting, she didn’t need to worry about anything else.
With this thought, the young woman nodded vigorously, accepting all of Tao Ran’s arrangements without question.
For instance, why had they kept her parents in the dark about what happened to her?
It was understandable to hide it from outsiders, but why keep it from the parents who had raised her since childhood?
Tao Ran waited for a long moment, but the girl didn’t ask any questions.
Looking into the girl’s crystal-clear eyes, Tao Ran suddenly understood.
Tao Ran unconsciously tightened her grip on Tang Fuzhi’s hand, but not enough to hurt her.
It was trust.
Unconditional trust in her.
Tao Ran’s heart softened. She smiled, lowered her head, and gently rubbed the girl’s delicate cheek, murmuring with a sigh of contentment, “You’re such a good girl.”
The obedient girl blinked her dewy eyes at her, but this didn’t stir the con artist’s guilt. Instead, it awakened the beast within her.
Tao Ran’s gaze deepened slightly, but her voice grew even softer, tinged with a hint of coaxing. “Didn’t you say this afternoon you bought new clothes and wanted to show them to me?”
A flicker of confusion crossed Tang Fuzhi’s eyes. She didn’t quite understand why the conversation had suddenly shifted to clothes, but she instinctively nodded.
“Go put them on and show me.”
Tang Fuzhi felt a strange unease, but then remembered she had brought up the clothes herself earlier that day. It seemed she had no reason to refuse.
When Xu Rujia delivered the clothes, she left them on the floor of Tang Fuzhi’s room.
It’s her room, after all. Best not to touch anything. Imagine accidentally seeing something embarrassing!
While Tang Fuzhi was changing, Tao Ran cleared the dishes and returned to the room to wait.
The young woman emerged shyly, clutching the hem of her dress and lingering in the doorway.
Tao Ran’s eyes lit up when she saw Tang Fuzhi’s outfit.
With her hair loose and her pure face flushed, Tang Fuzhi’s bright eyes darted away, clearly embarrassed. She bit her lower lip with her pearly white teeth. The black strapless dress clung to her exquisite figure, accentuating her slender waist and revealing her long, shapely legs, which appeared even more luminous against the dark fabric.
That afternoon, when Tang Fuzhi had chosen the dress, she’d prioritized aesthetics. Xu Rujia’s gaze had seemed perfectly normal, so she hadn’t felt self-conscious.
But now, standing before Tao Ran, facing that intense, almost naked gaze, Tang Fuzhi felt as if she were stripped bare. The raw, possessive look in Tao Ran’s eyes made her blush even deeper.
Tang Fuzhi tugged at the hem of her dress, trying to cover more skin, a little embarrassed. “Is it… pretty? Does it look weird on me?”
Tao Ran used to pick out casual, sweet-girl styles for her, and even the slightly more mature pieces never looked like this dress.
She’d bought it while shopping, seeing how good it looked on the mannequin and wanting to try a different style for once.
Tao Ran’s voice deepened slightly, a little teasing. “It looks great. It really suits you.”
Tang Fuzhi’s heart fluttered at the sound of her voice, and she couldn’t quite meet her gaze. She took two steps back, wanting to change, but Tao Ran stopped her.
“What’s the rush? I haven’t even gotten a good look yet.”
Tao Ran said she was looking, but she’d already moved close to Tang Fuzhi, reaching out to brush aside the long hair framing her chest, her hand inadvertently grazing the slight curve beneath.
Tang Fuzhi hadn’t worn a bra to better show off the dress. She’d meant to use stick-on pads, but she’d forgotten to bring them into the bathroom. Luckily, there were bandages in the bathroom, which she’d used for makeshift coverage.
The girl trembled as Tao Ran’s hand brushed across that untouched part of her. A soft, breathy moan escaped her lips, and her legs felt weak.
Fortunately, Tao Ran caught her in time. Tang Fuzhi instinctively reached out and wrapped her arms around Tao Ran’s neck, preventing herself from falling to the ground.
This wasn’t the first time the two had been this close. They kissed often, but never had it felt so charged.
Tao Ran lowered her gaze, the angle allowing her to see the slight curve of Tang Fuzhi’s slender waist. The form-fitting dress perfectly accentuated the young woman’s figure.
In the summer heat, their thin clothing meant only two layers of fabric separated their warmth. A night breeze brushed through their hair, carrying Tang Fuzhi’s faint white tea scent to Tao Ran.
The scent, usually calming, suddenly became a trigger.
Tao Ran felt Tang Fuzhi’s delicate frame, her breathing growing heavy, her gaze becoming increasingly intense.
Tang Fuzhi’s shoulders trembled slightly. She sensed something was off about Tao Ran’s demeanor.
Using Tao Ran’s support, she straightened up, her arms slowly withdrawing from around Tao Ran’s neck to press against her own chest. Her voice wavered, “I… I need to go change.”
Tao Ran’s eyes darkened slightly. “Alright.”
Despite her words, she didn’t release her hold on Tang Fuzhi.
Tang Fuzhi tried to push her away gently, but instead of breaking free, Tao Ran only tightened her embrace.
“What are you doing? I need to change.”
Tao Ran’s fingertips brushed against Tang Fuzhi’s waist, causing Tang Fuzhi to flinch and press even closer against her.
“I’ll help you change,” Tao Ran murmured, her voice husky. Her hot breath ghosted across Tang Fuzhi’s shoulder and neck, sending shivers down her spine.
Tang Fuzhi glared at her, her voice soft and weak, sounding more like deliberate teasing than genuine refusal. “No.”
With a sudden burst of strength, she wriggled free from Tao Ran’s embrace while Tao Ran was distracted. She grabbed a shopping bag at her feet and hurried inside to change.
As soon as the door closed, Tang Fuzhi leaned against the cold wall, feeling her heart race. She pressed a hand to her chest, trying to calm down.
They hadn’t even done anything just a hug but it felt more thrilling than any kiss they’d shared before.
After a long moment, Tang Fuzhi’s heart finally settled into a steady rhythm. Only then did she take off the little black dress.
She realized she’d been too hasty earlier and forgotten to grab her breast petals.
Tang Fuzhi opened the shopping bag, silently praying for something normal.
She had actually bought several casual outfits.
Tang Fuzhi’s fingers froze when she saw what was in the shopping bag.
Just then, Tao Ran was already knocking on the door from outside, her voice full of amusement, clearly excited about the outfit change. “Tang Tang, are you ready yet?”
Whether it was Tang Fuzhi’s imagination or not, she felt like Tao Ran was about to barge in at any moment.
She glanced down at her nearly naked body, panicked, and without thinking twice, grabbed the clothes from the shopping bag and threw them on.
Once dressed, Tang Fuzhi looked at herself in the mirror. Her face felt like it was burning up. She clutched her chest weakly, her legs pressed together.
She regretted it. This was even worse than wearing that little black dress.
Just as Tang Fuzhi was about to change back into the black dress, Tao Ran’s hand was already on the doorknob. “I’m coming in.”
“No!” Tang Fuzhi shouted, desperate to stop her.
But it was too late.
The bathroom was tiny, with nowhere to hide. She could only awkwardly try to cover herself with the little black dress.
Tao Ran had been waiting outside for quite a while. Knowing Tang Fuzhi, changing clothes should have taken no more than a few minutes. But Tang Fuzhi hadn’t come out yet.
Changing clothes wasn’t like taking a bath; you couldn’t just fall asleep mid-change or slip and fall. The only explanation for the delay was that something else had happened.
The new outfit made Tang Fuzhi feel even more self-conscious than the little black dress.
Yet when Tao Ran finally entered the room, she was still stunned by Tang Fuzhi’s appearance.
The girl was wearing a blue bikini. The top barely covered her vital areas, with blue straps winding from the center of her chest down to her slender waist. A pale red mole sat prominently between her breasts, completely exposed. The triangular bottom barely concealed her private parts, making her skin appear even whiter and more delicate. The outfit was both sexy and beautiful, showcasing her beauty perfectly.
It was clear this was Tang Fuzhi’s first time wearing something like this. Her fair cheeks flushed crimson, and she clutched the little black dress in her hands, trying to cover herself with a mixture of shyness and coquettishness. The combination made her look even more innocent, yet her bashful gaze held a hint of allure.
Tao Ran walked closer, her eyes burning with an intensity that seemed to sear Tang Fuzhi.
Realizing the black dress offered no real coverage, Tang Fuzhi abandoned it. She reached out and covered Tao Ran’s eyes, snapping, “No peeking!”
Though blinded, Tao Ran didn’t back down.
If her eyes couldn’t appreciate her girlfriend’s beauty, she’d simply use her hands instead.
Her hand rested on Tang Fuzhi’s forehead, slowly sliding down to her slightly flushed cheek before finally settling on those delicate lips.
It was odd. Tao Ran, despite being from a wealthy family, didn’t have particularly delicate fingers. Instead, the pads of her fingers were calloused. As those calloused fingertips brushed against her lips, Tang Fuzhi instinctively wanted to pull away, but her hand was still covering Tao Ran’s eyes, immobilizing her.
Tang Fuzhi bared her sharp teeth and bit down fiercely on Tao Ran’s finger, like a small animal flashing its canines. The gesture looked ferocious, but it lacked any real threat.
The bite didn’t hurt at all.
Tao Ran’s eyes grew darker, a subtle curve tugging at the corner of her lips. Taking advantage of Tang Fuzhi’s restraint, she continued to toy with her, stirring up a storm between them.
Ever since waking up, Tang Fuzhi had been cherished by Tao Ran. She had never been treated like this before. Her eyes rimmed with red, tears welling at the corners, her tongue numb, and her discomfort overwhelming.
She whimpered softly, a hint of pleading in her voice.
But Tao Ran was truly wicked. Even without seeing, she could vividly imagine Tang Fuzhi’s pitiful expression.
The thought of Tang Fuzhi trembling under her touch, her tearful eyes fixed on her, stirred a dark malice within Tao Ran’s heart.
I really want to… break her.
Though her eyes couldn’t see, Tang Fuzhi’s hearing had grown even more acute. The girl’s helpless whimpers and the sound of water swirling stirred Tao Ran deeply.
