I Got A Girlfriend After Losing My Memory (Transmigration) - Chapter 12
Tang Fuzhi froze, her cheeks flushing at the memory of yesterday’s kiss. Still just a young woman at heart, she instinctively refused. “But I have amnesia.”
Tao Ran had anticipated this reaction. She lowered her gaze, concealing the emotions in her eyes, her voice dropping to a dejected tone. “Right, you have amnesia. You don’t remember anything. All those years of affection have vanished too.”
She had always known when to play vulnerable.
Tang Fuzhi couldn’t resist glancing up at Tao Ran, but she couldn’t decipher the emotions in her eyes. Yet even from her voice alone, she could sense her desolation.
This made her start to question herself. Was she being too harsh?
After all, having your girlfriend lose her memory would be unbearable for anyone. And it wasn’t like she and Tao Ran had never kissed before. One more kiss… wouldn’t hurt, right?
Besides, she… she wasn’t completely indifferent to Tao Ran.
Tang Fuzhi glanced at Tao Ran again. The woman’s features were striking, her delicate peach blossom eyes lowered slightly. She wore a red slip dress that revealed large expanses of pale skin, her slender waist both supple and strong. Her long, fair legs were hidden beneath the covers, out of sight.
This was a body that perfectly matched Tang Fuzhi’s preferences, and Tao Ran’s unwavering care for her had softened her heart. Tang Fuzhi pressed her lips together, her fingers loosening their grip on the blanket. She silently shifted her hand to the silk fabric at Tao Ran’s waist, clutching it tightly as she closed her amber eyes.
It was a signal Tao Ran understood perfectly. She leaned in and kissed her.
At first, it was just a simple press of lips, as Tang Fuzhi had expected. But gradually, things began to change.
Tao Ran seemed unsatisfied with the mere touch of lips. She deepened the kiss, and in that instant, Tang Fuzhi could hear nothing but the pounding of her own heart.
She had never known that kissing could involve so many techniques, each one making her blush and her heart race.
It was a kiss both tender and possessive, as if Tao Ran wanted to devour her whole.
Tang Fuzhi opened her eyes and looked at Tao Ran, meeting her slightly upturned peach blossom eyes. The woman’s gaze was gentle, as if Tang Fuzhi were the only person in the world.
Seeing Tao Ran like this, Tang Fuzhi couldn’t help but think of a question that had been lingering in her mind for a long time.
How far had we gone before I lost my memory?
Feeling Tao Ran’s kiss, Tang Fuzhi found her answer.
After so;
Sunlight streamed through the window, bathing the bed in its warm glow and illuminating the girl’s pale, delicate cheek. The brightness seemed to disturb her slightly, causing her long lashes to flutter faintly.
She blinked awake, her eyes falling on Tao Ran, who was working diligently at the desk. Dressed in a black suit with a white blouse, Tao Ran sat engrossed in her work, just as she had been before they went to sleep the night before, her gaze focused and her entire being absorbed in the task at hand.
Tao Ran always seemed busy. In the mere two or three days they’d known each other, aside from caring for Tang Fuzhi and chatting with her, Tao Ran had spent nearly all her time working.
Working from home couldn’t be as efficient as being in the office, so why wasn’t Tao Ran going to the office?
The moment this question surfaced in Tang Fuzhi’s mind, the answer already formed in her heart.
She pursed her lips. Though it might sound narcissistic, it seemed to be the truth.
It was for her.
“You know, you don’t have to stay home from work. I’m not a child. I can take care of myself.”
Tao Ran lowered her gaze to meet Tang Fuzhi’s, her eyes softening like melting ice.
It was always like this. No matter the moment, Tao Ran’s gaze held such tenderness, a warmth that could make anyone feel utterly captivated.
Tang Fuzhi pursed her lips, a faint ache lingering where Tao Ran had bitten her the night before. The memory stirred, silently refuting her earlier words.
Except when we’re kissing.
“Nothing is more important than you,” Tao Ran said, gently ruffling Tang Fuzhi’s hair, her eyes filled with affection. “It’s already 9:30. If you get up now, you’ll still have time for breakfast.”
With that, Tao Ran got out of bed and walked to the wardrobe, carefully selecting an outfit and matching accessories before handing them to Tang Fuzhi.
No girl could resist the allure of beautiful clothes. Tang Fuzhi’s eyes lit up as she eagerly took the outfit and hurried to the bathroom to change.
After all, she’d been wearing hospital gowns ever since she woke up, and they were anything but flattering.
Once dressed, Tang Fuzhi quickly washed up and rushed out, eager to show Tao Ran her new look. If her leg had fully recovered, she would have twirled around to better showcase the dress’s beauty.
Seeing Tang Fuzhi dressed up so meticulously, a flicker of astonishment flashed in Tao Ran’s eyes.
The girl wore a red off-the-shoulder dress, simple yet subtly alluring. A black leather belt cinched her waist, accentuating her slender figure. The dress, ending mid-thigh, revealed her long, sun-deprived legs, perfectly proportioned and straight. A black leather choker completed the look, simple and elegant, though her hair seemed a bit plain.
Tang Fuzhi fidgeted with the hem of her skirt, suppressing the urge to twirl. She couldn’t miss the flash of admiration in Tao Ran’s eyes, and a hint of pride swelled in her chest. Still, she couldn’t resist asking, “What do you think? Does it look good?”
“It looks amazing,” Tao Ran replied, stepping closer. She conjured a black lace bow from thin air and clipped it above Tang Fuzhi’s ear, tucking back a few stray strands of hair to fully reveal the girl’s delicate features. “Now it looks even better.”
Though Tang Fuzhi had anticipated Tao Ran’s answer, hearing it aloud still felt different.
She tilted her chin slightly, a touch of arrogance in her voice. “What are we having for breakfast?”
Her soft, sweet voice, like it had been dipped in sugar, was utterly captivating.
Tao Ran suddenly felt an overwhelming urge to kiss her.
