I Don't Want To Fall In Love With The Heroine [Quick Wear] - Chapter 32
The sarcastic label “Auntie” nearly knocked the wind out of Bai Qian.
Fu Siwan seemed entirely oblivious to the emotional damage her “respectful” title inflicted. She followed it up with a comment that was even more shocking: “Where’s Zhao Yinghao? Does he really want to handle two in one night?”
Bai Qian’s face darkened with every word. What on earth has this girl been taught growing up?
The girl casually picked up a bottle of mineral water from the table, unscrewed the cap, and took a few sips. As she tilted her head back, her snow-white, swan-like neck was exposed, its curve elegant and exquisite. Bai Qian couldn’t help but marvel inwardly; some people really were favored by the Creator. Even a simple act like drinking water looked like a professional photoshoot.
“Auntie, you look like you’re nearly thirty.” Fu Siwan tightened the cap and appraised the woman in front of her with a cold, sweeping gaze. Her eyes lingered on Bai Qian’s curves, and she reflexively straightened her own posture. Realizing she was still slightly lacking in comparison, she let out a low scoff. “At your age, Zhao Yinghao still took an interest? Where is he? Did he send you to pick me up so we could ‘bond’ and prepare for a harmonious threesome tonight?”
Bai Qian knew she had to stop her before even viler words spilled out. The girl’s moral education would have to wait; right now, the priority was correcting this massive misunderstanding.
“Wait, you’ve got it all wrong.”
Fu Siwan gave a perfunctory nod. Perhaps she felt that the woman’s natural aura of cold elegance didn’t fit the “profession,” so she quickly accepted the denial. “Oh? Not here to steal my business? Then, Auntie, don’t tell me you’re Zhao Yinghao’s secretary? Does being a secretary for an old man nowadays involve handling his bedroom logistics?”
The girl’s offensive attitude was only softened by her stunning looks, but her pink, beautiful lips continued to spit out mocking remarks. Bai Qian reached her limit. A mix of heartache and irritation surged within her, and she blurted out the truth.
“I paid two hundred thousand to snatch you away from Zhao Yinghao!”
Fu Siwan suddenly fell silent, looking like a stunned quail. The look of shock on her face was almost comical.
As Bai Qian approached her, the girl—who only reached her shoulder—suddenly snapped her head up. Her face reverted to that “mask-like” expression from earlier. She frowned. “Where’s the two hundred thousand?”
“I gave it to your mother.”
“You gave it to her!” Fu Siwan exploded instantly. “You gave it all to her! What about my share?! Do you even know how to conduct a transaction? Who told you to give her all the money at once? Now that she has it, there’s no way she’s giving me a cent!”
The girl was fuming, looking like a small, vicious dog whose prey had been stolen. She glared at Bai Qian. “This mistake happened because of your negligence! I’m telling you, if you don’t get my share back for me, I won’t give myself to you! Since she took the money, go deal with her yourself!”
Bai Qian actually felt a wave of relief. She had worried that Li Lanzhao had successfully brainwashed the girl into believing her only value was selling herself. Now, it seemed the little one just prioritized money above all else. While that wasn’t ideal, it was a much easier mindset to correct than the former.
She didn’t mind the greed; money was the one thing she had in abundance.
Realizing the money wouldn’t be in her hands immediately, Fu Siwan unilaterally decided to terminate the deal. She was about to leave with her backpack when Bai Qian called her back.
“Fu Siwan, if I could pay two hundred thousand to get you, do you really think that’s the extent of my wealth?”
The girl immediately dropped her bag and began rummaging through it. “Then give me another hundred thousand. As for the extra money you wasted on her, get it back yourself. Whether you can is your business. Also, I don’t have a phone. Transfer the money to my bank; I’ll write down the card number. Pay first, then we can do the rest.”
She tore a page out of her brand-new Chinese textbook—the only book in her bag—and pulled out a pencil. Before she could write, Bai Qian’s clean, white hand pressed down on the paper.
“No need for a card number. I’ll take you to buy a phone later. Mobile payments are more convenient anyway.”
The girl scoffed but obediently put her things away. “You’re much more generous than Zhao Yinghao. But I don’t need ‘later.’ Take me to buy it now.”

At the flagship store, Fu Siwan ignored the display models and demanded the latest top-of-the-line phone. While waiting, she wandered over to the laptops. Bai Qian followed her. “Do you like it?”
The girl gave her a thin smile. “Of course. Why? Are you going to buy me one of these, too?”
Bai Qian tucked a stray hair behind the girl’s ear. “Then we’ll buy it.”
Fu Siwan wanted to swat the hand away, but the offer stunned her. She forgot to move. Seeing the girl’s wide-eyed, genuine shock made her look much more adorable than her cynical mask.
“Top-of-the-line for this, too?” Bai Qian asked with doting warmth.

After securing the phone and laptop, Fu Siwan’s gaze toward Bai Qian became complicated. This was the first time she had felt “pampered.” Even if the woman had the same goal as that old man, she didn’t look at Fu Siwan with that nauseating, lecherous gaze.
“Do you have your ID?” Bai Qian asked gently. “Let’s get you a SIM card.”
Fu Siwan followed her silently for a while before stopping abruptly. “The phone and laptop were your idea; I’m not counting them toward the deal. If you think a laptop buys my ‘next time,’ you’re wrong. I know virginity is a big deal to people like you. You can have my first time, but for every time after—if the money isn’t enough, I won’t give in.”
Bai Qian felt a surge of rage toward the mother who had poisoned this girl’s mind. Fu Siwan spoke of her body like she was haggling over the price of pork.
Bai Qian took a deep breath. “I bought your birthday for two hundred thousand. I only have one requirement for you.”
“What?”
“From today on, remember this: You are priceless. No one—not even yourself—can measure you with money. Not your body, not anything else.”
Fu Siwan’s pupils contracted for a fleeting moment before she smirked. “Right. I’ve remembered.”
Rich people and their savior complexes, Fu Siwan thought. They treat people like kittens, wait for them to become dependent, and then discard them like toys.
Bai Qian saw through the act. She knew words weren’t enough. She naturally reached out and caught the girl’s wrist. “Let’s get the card, then eat. It’s your birthday—what do you want?”
Fu Siwan tried to pull away, but the woman, who had been so indulgent until now, held on tight.
“I’ve spent three hundred thousand on you. Surely I can at least hold your hand?”
The woman’s voice was warm, but Fu Siwan was fuming. I knew it! This older woman is just after my body! That “gentle” facade is a total lie!!!
