- Chapter 69 - Baby Still Needs More Practice
“Mhm, I missed you.”
The girl’s soft, coquettish voice sounded as her small hand slid across the man’s chest.
Not taking advantage of an opportunity would be a waste.
The large arm wrapped around her waist tightened its hold.
His strong, powerful chest pressed firmly against her, a mere tilt of his head or lift of hers would bring their lips completely together.
Fu Chenyan seemed to let out a soft chuckle, his voice lazy and deep, his gaze intense and burning.
“Baby, want a kiss?”
Li Muli’s eyes shimmered like rippling water as she shot him a reproachful glare. “Why are you always thinking about kissing?”
It made her want it too.
“Doesn’t baby want it?” The man raised an eyebrow lazily, his fingers teasingly tracing circles at her waist.
“Lin Yuan says frequent kissing can prolong your life.”
“With such a great resource right in front of you, baby, all you have to do is lift your head and kiss me.”
It sounded quite reasonable.
Li Muli pouted her pink lips and lightly tapped his chest with her small fist, whining, “But I just want a hug.”
The force was light, almost like flirting.
Fu Chenyan smirked, leaning down until his warm breath fanned across her face, his tone playful and unrestrained. “Baby, that’s not what you said last night.”
Today, Fu Chenyan seemed possessed by a fox spirit.
He was too captivating.
It made her want to commit a crime.
The girl felt a tickle at her neck, and as last night’s scenes flashed through her mind, her face flushed, and her legs inexplicably weakened.
Even so it was thrilling.
And also very pleasurable.
The man’s voice was laced with laughter, casual and carefree as he spoke, “What do you think, baby?”
“I think it’s a good idea.”
Li Muli: “…”
Her mouth was running ahead, and her brain couldn’t keep up.
Fu Chenyan let out a lazy chuckle, hooked his arm around her waist, and carried her to the sofa.
Teasingly, he murmured, “Whatever baby wants, her husband will provide.”
Finally, he cupped the back of her head and pressed his lips firmly to hers. His assault was too fierce, and Li Muli kept retreating.
Her husband was forever young, forever fierce when kissing.
“Heh.” Noticing the girl was out of breath, a soft laugh escaped the man’s lips.
Li Muli frowned, feeling her abilities were being questioned.
She, Li Muli, could not let anyone doubt her skills.
The girl wrapped her arms around his neck, her legs encircling his waist, her face flushed.
She whimpered, “Who do you think you’re looking down on?”
Then she pinned him beneath her, pressing her red lips to his once more, her small hands roaming his back.
The man’s eyes gradually darkened, turning crimson with desire.
“Baby, are you trying to work out in the office?”
“Mmm.”
Fu Chenyan held her waist, slowly caressing her.
It was as if they were setting each other on fire.
Only when Li Muli was breathless again did she weakly push against his chest. “No more kissing, no more.”
When they were together, it always seemed to turn into scenes unsuitable for children.
The man’s Adam’s apple bobbed as he lifted a finger to tilt her chin, his voice lazy and teasing. “Baby still needs more practice.”
He was constantly plucking at her heartstrings.
If only his words weren’t questioning her abilities.
In the quiet atmosphere, they leaned against each other.
Filled with deep affection and love.
An untimely ringtone interrupted them. Fu Chenyan freed a hand to answer the call.
It was from Lin Yuan.
“President Fu, your wife is trending on social media.”
The man lifted his gaze and ruffled the hair of the girl nestled in his arms, his tone casual and unrestrained. “Isn’t that normal?”
Given how he was constantly flaunting their affection, it was only right for the trending searches to be perpetually dominated by the two of them.
“With a… strange man.”
Lin Yuan, who had come to tattle, had no idea that Li Muli was currently by the man’s side.
He had always been a loyal assistant.
But one day, he encountered his Waterloo.
Li Muli lightly brushed back her hair, a smirk playing on her red lips. “Oh, Assistant Lin, why are you tattling?”
“President Fu, I’ll hang up now.”
The voice on the other end sounded panicked, hurriedly hanging up before Fu Chenyan could respond.
Lin Yuan clutched his chest, already envisioning his future working in a factory.
If President Fu got angry, he might let it slide given their years of working together.
But if the missus got angry, considering how Fu Chenyan doted on his wife.
Sob, life was tough.
Fu Chenyan looked at the girl curled up in his arms, his lazy yet intense gaze fixed on her as he spoke in a low voice, “Well? Care to explain?”
By now, Li Muli had already figured out that she and Yin Hanzhi had been photographed.
The scene looked intimate and picturesque, enough to be genuinely misleading.
Li Muli nervously twisted her fingers and looked up at the man with pleading eyes. “Husband, let me explain.”
Ah, she called him “husband.”
Fu Chenyan watched her flustered and guilty expression, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “Go on, baby. Let’s hear your excuse.”
Li Muli raised an eyebrow, inwardly marveling at how patient her husband was.
“Husband, it’s that man from last time the one on the second floor.”
The man’s eyes darkened slightly. He hadn’t expected Yin Hanzhi to have gotten acquainted with her.
Li Muli tugged at the corner of his shirt, pouting coquettishly. “He asked for my contact info and invited me out today.”
The man’s voice was languid, his eyebrow slightly raised. “So that’s why you turned down dinner with me?”
Li Muli nuzzled softly against his chest. “I’m sorry, husband.”
She knew full well that Fu Chenyan was weak to this tactic.
“Why did you want to get to know him?”
He wouldn’t interfere with her normal social interactions, but he wanted to be kept in the loop.
Honesty was the foundation of any relationship.
Li Muli bit her lower lip, muttering under her breath, “I suspect… he might be related to me by blood.”
Fu Chenyan was taken aback. He gently ruffled her hair, his voice soft and husky. “I see, baby. I’ll look into it.”
Li Muli pouted and snuggled deeper into his warm embrace, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Unbeknownst to her, the man’s gaze had drifted downward, following the curve of her neck.
The view was already laid bare before him.
“Baby, your figure is becoming more and more alluring.”
Li Muli: “…” Who had replaced her restrained and gentle Mr. Fu?
Today, Mr. Fu was unusually flirtatious and captivating.
His words were so direct, it was almost embarrassing.
Li Muli hooked her finger around his tie, her fair arm draped over his shoulder, exuding charm as she purred, “Then, husband, would you like a taste of your baby?”
It was a blatant provocation.
Fu Chenyan chuckled softly. His wife loved seeing him succumb to her charms.
But as a man, his priority was always his wife.
With a teasing smile, he buried his face in the crook of her neck, his voice low and husky. “Then let your husband have a taste, baby.”
“Baby, you smell so good.”
“Baby, you’re so sweet.”
“Baby, you’re so soft.”
“Good baby, your husband adores you.”
As the man’s words grew increasingly inappropriate and his hands began to wander uncontrollably, Li Muli’s face flushed crimson.
Breaking free from his grasp, she leaped off him and curved her lips into a seductive smile. “Goodbye, darling~”
Fu Chenyan: “…” He wasn’t exactly eager for a reunion, thank you very much.
