Forced to Romance the Omega Psychiatrist - Chapter 33
Xia You fled in panic from Bai Shuixi’s apartment, her retreating figure radiating flustered chaos.
Her footsteps, hurried and erratic, echoed through the hallway as she dashed into the elevator like a fugitive. Here, Bai Shuixi’s presence was completely absent, and no one would witness the turmoil on Xia You’s face.
She let out a long sigh and leaned back against the wall.
The cold touch of the tiles sent a slight shiver through her, cooling the storm of thoughts swirling in her mind only for the most distracting one to surface.
Wearing Bai Shuixi’s pajamas.
Xia You bit her lip, embarrassed, desperately trying to calm herself. Yet her imagination ran wild, conjuring images based on Bai Shuixi’s teasing words.
Bai Shuixi was slightly taller than her, often wearing shirts that would probably be half a size larger. The sleeves might be a little long. But Bai Shuixi was also much slimmer shirts were fitted garments, after all. The bust might be tight maybe even too tight to button properly.
And then wouldn’t that mean.
A fleeting image flashed through Xia You’s mind, startling her so much she froze, wishing she could hide in a corner.
What on earth was she thinking?!
Blushing furiously, Xia You forcibly banished those thoughts. Standing in the elevator lobby, she closed her eyes in frustration, exhaling slowly to steady herself before pressing the elevator button with forced composure.
Someone must have just gone upstairs, the elevator arrived quickly.
Xia You stepped in, clutching her handbag tightly, her gaze inadvertently catching her reflection in the polished interior.
Her face was flushed.
She paused, fingers hovering over the floor buttons, staring at the unfamiliar version of herself in the mirror.
Her expression was flustered, cheeks tinged pink, but her eyes shimmered with a light, buoyant joy like a girl in love, freshly parted from her sweetheart.
“……”
Xia You’s lips, rosy and slightly damp, parted slightly as a realization flickered through her muddled mind. Then, flustered, she clenched her slender fingers, as if trying to escape the thought.
Had she really fallen for Bai Shuixi?
Less than fifty meters away, in the apartment Xia You had just fled, the very woman occupying her thoughts lounged on the sofa, idly toying with her phone. Her long legs were crossed, her gaze fixed thoughtfully on the massive, unlit TV screen.
She hadn’t actually planned on living with Xia You.
It had just been an offhand remark. She’d assumed the heroine’s personality would make her refuse outright maybe even scold her. But Xia You had agreed. And she’d even let Bai Shuixi kiss her.
The limit was a French kiss?
Bai Shuixi considered it. If she actually tried, Xia You would probably explode.
But that might be fun. Since Xia You had agreed, there was no reason not to kiss her. And afterward, Bai Shuixi could play the victim, claiming Xia You had consented. The flustered reaction would be priceless.
Wouldn’t that count as tormenting Xia You, both physically and emotionally?
A perfect two-for-one deal.
Bai Shuixi was seriously pondering this when she suddenly felt a sharp, needle-like pain under her ribs so intense that she hadn’t even noticed how excited she’d been getting.
“That’s strange… It’s never hurt like this before…”
Frowning, Bai Shuixi raised a hand to press against her ribs, her expression darkening.
The source of the pain was the same spot where the shared-punishment system had triggered before, but unlike previous episodes, this wasn’t unbearable. Instead, it lingered faintly, a persistent discomfort that refused to fade.
“Did I accidentally do something again?” Bai Shuixi frowned, wanting to drag the useless system out for questioning.
The system, long since numb to this world’s progression, crawled up half-heartedly to respond: “Perhaps it’s because you’ve altered too much of the plot.” Even the main system doesn’t know where to start punishing you, so it’s resorting to this, extended version.】
“If your main system is this incompetent, maybe it should find another line of work,” Bai Shuixi scoffed mercilessly. “I haven’t done anything tonight oh, except mess with Bai Ye a little. But isn’t that exactly what the original Bai Shuixi would’ve done?”
System: 【……】
That’s not the point, host!! Haven’t you done enough already?! If you keep this up, the female lead’s affection meter will max out soon!!!
Wake up!!!
But the system kept these thoughts to itself, afraid that voicing them would only encourage Bai Shuixi to happily pursue a happy ending with the female lead which would spell even worse doom for itself!
So it could only say cryptically: 【In any case, just remember: sticking to the original plot is always the right choice!】
The original plot again, Bai Shuixi lowered her eyes, tapping her fingers lightly. By now, she no longer doubted that the system was hiding things from her. She even suspected that the system didn’t care about how characters fared in each minor world, nor whether the so-called ‘plot’ made logical sense, it just wanted to see the ‘original story’ play out as intended.
So what exactly was the system lying about?
What could influence her decisions, making her actively choose to throw this world into chaos? Could it be, Xia You? Or Li Wei? No, probably not Li Wei her actions had targeted more than just Li Wei, ensnaring everyone except Xia You.
Was it really because she’d changed too much of the plot?
But the timing of the first shared-punishment didn’t quite fit.
Her thoughts hit a dead end here. For now, Bai Shuixi couldn’t figure out what triggered this inexplicable punishment, so she set it aside.
Only when she withdrew her attention did she realize Xia You had been gone for quite a while.
Nearly half an hour had passed surely fetching pajamas from a neighbor upstairs or downstairs wouldn’t take this long? Bai Shuixi stood and walked to the entryway, about to go check upstairs, when the doorbell suddenly rang.
Xia You was still in her evening gown, holding up the hem of her dress like a beauty who’d fled some grand banquet.
Bai Shuixi smiled and stepped aside: “There are two guest rooms, one has better lighting and more space. Why don’t you take that one?”
Still flustered, Xia You nodded absently with the few items she’d hastily grabbed, letting Bai Shuixi make the decision.
Her distraction was so obvious that she didn’t even notice Bai Shuixi watching her for a while with lowered eyes.
“Alright then,” Bai Shuixi lowered her lashes, her gaze sweeping over Xia You’s back as she chuckled softly, “come with me.”
Xia You didn’t notice anything amiss and followed Bai Shuixi to the guest room.
When the door opened, the space inside was indeed spacious. The windows were designed to be transparent, and without the curtains drawn, the city lights outside were clearly visible. The room’s decor was similar to Bai Shuixi’s usual style, and more importantly, it wasn’t far from Bai Shuixi’s bedroom.
Xia You seemed to think of something, turning her head away slightly in embarrassment.
Bai Shuixi stood at the doorway, not stepping in rashly, and simply asked, “Is this alright?”
“Mm.” Xia You nodded with her back still turned to Bai Shuixi.
Bai Shuixi smiled but didn’t press further about what was on Xia You’s mind. “Then go ahead and settle in. If anything doesn’t suit you, we can have it adjusted tomorrow morning. Oh, and you can use half of the walk-in closet help yourself.”
“What about this.” Xia You turned back, gesturing to the evening gown she was wearing. “What should I do with it?”
Bai Shuixi’s eyes skimmed over the dress before she smiled. “Just leave it in the closet. Someone will come tomorrow to collect and clean it.”
Xia You nodded. “Okay.”
Bai Shuixi took a few steps back, giving Xia You space, then walked over to the bar with an amused smile to pour herself a glass of water. She wasn’t actually thirsty, so she lingered by the counter for a while just long enough to hear Xia You call for her.
” Bai Shuixi, can you come help me for a second?”
Xia You’s voice came from the walk-in closet, sounding slightly flustered.
Bai Shuixi’s lips curved naturally as she set down her glass and walked over. But she didn’t enter immediately, stopping at the doorway and asking with feigned propriety, “May I come in?”
“You can come in.” Xia You’s voice was hesitant, as if she were embarrassed.
When Bai Shuixi pushed the door open, she saw Xia You sitting on the long bench in the closet with her back turned. The soft black leather contrasted with the white fabric of the evening gown, the delicate beauty’s dress slightly disheveled, her fair back half-exposed as she fumbled with a long decorative chain at the back.
Bai Shuixi quietly took in the sight, unconsciously swallowing lightly before finally asking, “What are you doing?”
“You’re here?” Xia You glanced back at her, biting her lip in frustration. “I can’t seem to find the zipper at the back.”
She looked like she had been struggling for a while, her cheeks slightly flushed and her expression annoyed, as if she were about to lose her temper with this difficult-to-wear-and-even-harder-to-remove dress.
It would almost be a waste not to do something in this situation.
But she couldn’t just force the female lead.
Bai Shuixi sighed inwardly before stepping closer, one step at a time, until the distance between them was so small they could feel each other’s body heat. Only then did she lean down slightly and murmur, “Let me help you.”
The soft voice vibrated against Xia You’s eardrums, carrying with it the faint cool fragrance of Bai Shuixi’s scent. Xia You’s ears instantly flushed red, half of her body tingling with numbness.
The closet seemed to fall into sudden silence, so quiet they could almost hear each other’s breathing. The jingling sound of the decorative chain clinking filled the air, and Xia You’s breath unconsciously lightened, her thoughts beginning to drift.
This was getting a little too intimate.
Bai Shuixi’s presence was overwhelmingly intense, making Xia You almost unable to distinguish whether the lingering scent in the air was perfume or her pheromones. Exposing herself so completely before the other person felt both dangerously thrilling. The sensation of her clothing gradually loosening was unmistakably vivid, eerily reminiscent of certain intimate acts, causing Xia You’s heartbeat to accelerate uncontrollably.
What felt like an eternity later, Bai Shuixi, standing behind Xia You, suddenly raised her hand. Her fingertips traced a slow, deliberate path across the skin at the nape of Xia You’s neck, gently sweeping her hair aside.
The cool touch gliding over her skin made Xia You shiver slightly.
After a moment of silence, Bai Shuixi finally spoke, her voice calm yet carrying a hint of confusion: “Sister, what’s wrong?”
“N-nothing,” Xia You murmured, lowering her head slightly as her breathing grew uneven. Her dress had loosened further under Bai Shuixi’s ministrations, creating the unsettling illusion that she was being stripped bare. Instinctively, she pressed a hand to her chest.
The dressing room fell into prolonged silence once more. Bai Shuixi lowered her gaze, meticulously undoing the hidden fastenings at the back of the gown. The fabric encasing Xia You gradually slipped away, revealing glimpses of flawless, pale skin beneath.
Bai Shuixi glanced up at the mirrored handbag display wall opposite them and let out a soft sigh. “Sister, do you really think you look fine right now?”
Xia You froze.
Before she could react, a cool hand suddenly cupped her chin, applying just enough pressure to tilt her head upward.
The mirrored wall reflected their current state with crystal clarity. Bai Shuixi remained dressed in her sleek black dress, appearing sharp, elegant, and untouchable as she stood behind Xia You, slightly bent forward, forcing Xia You to meet her own reflection. The Omega in the mirror appeared disheveled her dress in disarray, cheeks flushed, eyes glazed with bewildered moisture. The decorative chains from her gown had come undone, rising and falling with each unsteady breath.
The image was undeniably erotic and wanton, leaving no doubt about the Omega’s aroused state.
Xia You’s grip on her skirt tightened abruptly. She bit her lip instinctively, overcome with panic and shame as she tried to avert her gaze. How could she be making such an expression? And in front of Bai Shuixi, of all people. After all her stubborn denials, merely having her zipper adjusted had reduced her to this state. What would Bai Shuixi think of her now?
“Sister, is your heat cycle approaching?” Bai Shuixi’s composed voice broke through Xia You’s spiraling thoughts, her tone as steady as ever, though tinged with curiosity.
“What?” Xia You blinked, momentarily dazed.
“Or perhaps.” Bai Shuixi leaned in closer, her breath brushing Xia You’s ear as she asked with deliberate seriousness, “do you want to have sex with me?” A faint, amused smile played at her lips as she added, “While I did say we could stop at kissing, if you’d like to explore other possibilities sooner, I wouldn’t object.”
Xia You’s breathing grew shallow. The fleeting thought of pushing Bai Shuixi away to end this situation surfaced briefly before dissolving entirely.
After a quiet pause, as if entranced, Xia You turned her head slowly, meeting Bai Shuixi’s gaze in a dazed trance.
Bai Shuixi was already standing close to her, and when she turned her head, they were nearly pressed together. The emotions swirling in their eyes were unmistakable under the glow of the wall lamp, yet neither retreated. After what felt like countless shared breaths, their eyes fluttered shut, and their soft, slightly cool lips met, a faint sweetness spreading between them.
The mirror that had just reflected Bai Shuixi and Xia You now showed two graceful figures pressed tightly together, swaying unsteadily.
Bai Shuixi’s breathing was uneven too. As she kissed Xia You, only one thought filled her mind ‘so soft’ occasionally registering belatedly that Xia You tasted sweet. So sweet, and a little intoxicating, as if pulling her in with an irresistible force.
Some things, once started, were hard to stop.
The entire walk-in closet was thick with their mingled pheromones, heady and intoxicating, clouding their minds further.
Bai Shuixi kissed Xia You deeply, her cool hands moving unconsciously, fingers slipping beneath the zipper of Xia You’s dress to brush against softness, making Xia You shiver slightly.
A sliver of reason returned to Bai Shuixi, and she pulled back slightly, panting. “Should we?”
But if Xia You changed her mind now, she could still restrain herself.
Xia You looked up at Bai Shuixi, appearing even more disheveled her lips red and glistening, breath ragged, her gentle eyes misty with desire, laced with a hint of seduction.
Bai Shuixi: “…” She was starting to regret asking.
Fortunately, Xia You didn’t seem inclined to stop halfway either. She swallowed lightly, wrapped her arms around Bai Shuixi’s neck, and pulled her into another kiss.
What followed was inevitable.
Still kissing, they stumbled into Bai Shuixi’s bedroom. The expensive, intricately tailored dress worth hundreds of thousands was torn open impatiently, delicate embellishments scattering across the floor.
The sounds that followed lasted well into the night.
When it finally ended, the stunningly pale Omega so fair she seemed to glow under the light slumped back onto the bed, her soft, parted lips gasping for air, chest rising and falling rapidly.
Bai Shuixi leaned down to kiss her. “Jiejie!”
The term of endearment seemed to bring the dazed Omega back to herself. She met Bai Shuixi’s gaze, the lingering dampness in her eyes not yet faded. “Bai Shuixi, do you like being with me like this?”
Bai Shuixi swallowed, answering honestly. “I really do.”
Xia You was quiet for a moment before pulling Bai Shuixi down again. Just before their lips met, she whispered, “I like you too.”
