Fell In Love With My Older Sister’s Friend - Chapter 11
Although Lin Qingyue had never personally put it into practice, she clearly knew what kissing was like.
It seemed to be just like this: the two people at such close range, their breaths intimately intertwined. She closed her eyes and pouted her lips, the implied meaning exceptionally clear.
The gardenia scent on Xu Luzhi was very pure and sweet, so thick it seemed to melt. After smelling it for a while longer, Lin Qingyue was almost immersed in the sweet dream of gardenias, dizzyingly tempted to kiss the spirit of the flower.
Her mind momentarily blurred, and she finally realized that Xu Luzhi hardly ever wore lipstick, which was why she had made the wrong mouth shape.
Lin Qingyue shook her head, and remembering that the other person couldn’t see, she spoke up to remind her, “Pull your mouth to the sides.”
Perhaps due to the recently cozy atmosphere, her tone was especially soft and lingering, like the scattered flower candles burning in the boundless night, very alluring.
Xu Luzhi disagreed, quietly saying, “That’s so ugly.”
The little girl’s face was utterly innocent, and Lin Qingyue felt relieved, suddenly very thankful that she didn’t know what she had just been thinking.
How old was she, having seen so much of everything, yet still so easily carried away and lost in a daze?
Especially since… the other person was just a child.
Lin Qingyue forced a smile, scoffing at herself, and had to coax Xu Luzhi, “Be good, it’s not ugly. Just try it.”
“Fine then.” Xu Luzhi reluctantly followed her instructions and stretched her mouth, wrinkling her small brows because she disliked how ugly she looked.
She had already guessed what Lin Qingyue was going to give her; the makeup artist had also made her stretch her mouth like this earlier.
A tiny lipstick wasn’t worth much, but if the pretty Jiejie personally applied it for her, it would be extraordinary.
Xu Luzhi closed her eyes, her long lashes covering her lower eyelids, seeing nothing. She could only judge Lin Qingyue’s next move from the subtle sounds, anxiously waiting for that moment to arrive.
Her heart pounded like a drum, tight as a drawn string. Every second was an exceptional torment, hoping it would end quickly yet also wishing it would never come, a repeated tug of war that threatened to plunge her into a bottomless abyss.
Xu Luzhi gently inhaled, counting her heartbeats, quietly waiting for Lin Qingyue to apply her makeup. In her hazy state, she almost felt that this wasn’t waiting for lipstick application.
It was waiting for Lin Qingyue to lean over and kiss her, pulling her whole being into her embrace.
She didn’t know that Lin Qingyue had, in fact, had the same thought for a fleeting moment.
After an unknown amount of time, Xu Luzhi felt a cool touch on her lips, as soft as a feather, slowly brushing across her double-lined mouth.
The velvety texture, like a soft mist, moisturizing without being drying, intimately caressed every inch of her small mouth, like a lingering, gentle kiss.
As the coolness withdrew, Xu Luzhi subconsciously pressed her lips together, using a little force.
The carrot red spread evenly, pairing with her fair, tender face, making her look bright and exceptionally outstanding.
Lin Qingyue’s faint instruction reached Xu Luzhi’s ear: “Open your eyes.”
She delayed for a moment before opening her eyes, looking up at Lin Qingyue, her round eyes sparkling.
“Here,” Lin Qingyue tucked a lipstick into her palm, her tone casual and unhurried, “I was busy rushing out, so I didn’t bring much.”
Xu Luzhi stole a glance. In her palm was an exquisitely carved lipstick, still faintly retaining the warmth of the other person’s fingertips. It was a well-known major brand, a very beautiful classic model.
“Thank you, Jiejie,” she thanked obediently, her eyes curving into smiles, looking very happy.
It was strange. Although she was also happy about the cartload of gifts earlier, it didn’t compare to the joy of receiving lipstick from the pretty Jiejie right now.
“So…” Lin Qingyue paused, resting her head on her hand, casually undoing a button at the collar of her shirt.
A large expanse of collarbone was shamelessly revealed, white as porcelain against the white shirt, almost glowing.
Xu Luzhi stared, holding her breath, only to see Lin Qingyue smile radiantly, like the bright moon in the sky: “Next time I get the chance, I’ll make it up to you.”
“Doesn’t this count?” Xu Luzhi glanced at the lipstick in her hand, then at Lin Qingyue, asking deliberately innocently.
“If you don’t want it, that’s fine too.” Lin Qingyue’s peach blossom eyes lightly blinked, full of mirth.
Xu Luzhi quickly said, “I want it, Zhizhi wants it!”
Lin Qingyue was busy tasting the small cake, giving a muffled “En” sound, her lips covered in white cream, too sweet to open her mouth: “What do you want?”
Xu Luzhi propped her chin on her hand and thought for a moment, then abruptly asked, “Jiejie, could you sing a song for me?”
Lin Qingyue was stunned for a second, her tongue pricked by the tip of the plastic fork, a slight numbness. She almost blurted out, asking: “How do you know I can sing?”
However, the words were swallowed before they left her mouth, and she smiled breezily: “Alright.”
She blinked her eyes and slowly said, “But… only Zhizhi is allowed to listen.”
Since it was a birthday gift, no one else could hear it.
Speaking of which, she had hardly ever sung specifically for anyone, but she easily lost her guard against the little girl’s clear eyes and agreed to this small request.
Perhaps having heard Xu Luzhi’s charming and cute tone so much, she unconsciously called her “Zhizhi” when she spoke.
The intimate nickname rolled off her tongue, yet it was so natural, as if it was only right to call her that, something Lin Qingyue herself hadn’t even noticed.
Xu Luzhi, however, keenly heard Lin Qingyue use her nickname.
She licked the corner of her lips without a change in expression, knowing that her constant emphasis and repetition had taken effect.
Xu Luzhi smiled obediently: “Zhizhi won’t let anyone else hear it!”
She recalled the melody Lin Qingyue had hummed in the bathroom that night, mingled with the sound of water, ethereal and hazy, beautiful like a dream.
If she were to sing it specifically for her… she would be immensely happy, and she wouldn’t bear to share even a tiny bit with anyone else.
“Then Zhizhi will be waiting for Jiejie to make it up to me,” Xu Luzhi said earnestly.
“Are you in a hurry?” Lin Qingyue shrugged, looking languid and alluring.
“Yes, I am,” Xu Luzhi’s small dimples were faintly visible on her cheeks, and she spoke word by word, “Because this is Zhizhi’s favorite birthday gift.”
Children always loved to use the word “most,” as if saying it out loud could somehow certify something.
Lin Qingyue found it amusing, but looking at the girl’s devout gaze, she genuinely felt that she was sincere.
“Then I’m very honored, little one.” Lin Qingyue slightly bent her five fingers to support her chin, her tone casual and enchanting.
Xu Luzhi smiled back at her, pretending to be utterly artless, like a girl who only knew about studying and reading.
Through the empty glass cup, she saw the new streak of red on her lips, which Lin Qingyue had just personally applied for her.
Even though she had never seen herself before, the shade was so suitable, as if it were completely natural.
Xu Luzhi smiled with satisfaction, pressing her lips together happily.
Zhizhi would soon be an adult, so there was no rush.
“Jiejie,” Xu Luzhi suddenly said calmly, asking quietly, “Do you know what birthday wish I just made?”
Lin Qingyue looked up and asked casually, “What?”
Xu Luzhi was silent for a moment, then smiled after a while: “…To get into Tsinghua University.”
All the lights were turned off, and the room was dark, save for the seventeen candles neatly lined up on the largest birthday cake in the center of the main table.
The candles were lit one after another, slowly bringing light to the surroundings and illuminating Xu Luzhi’s hazy silhouette.
It was the most exciting moment: the birthday person making a wish.
The candlelight flickered, and the eyes of her parents, relatives, and friends around were eager. Everyone was clapping and singing the birthday song; there were smiles everywhere.
Xu Luzhi, the focus of all attention, quietly closed her eyes, clasped her hands, and began to make her birthday wish for the year.
For several years, she had lacked nothing and didn’t particularly desire anything, so her birthday wishes were only about her parents’ good health, family harmony, and such.
But this year, as Xu Luzhi turned seventeen, everything became a little different.
She closed her eyes, and Lin Qingyue’s image appeared in her mind, with her charming and varied smile, a sight that made one’s heart race and face flush.
She determined her intentions without hesitation.
She wanted to possess Lin Qingyue, wanted to pull the pretty Jiejie into her embrace and confine her.
Never to leave for the rest of her life.
Even though Xu Luzhi didn’t yet understand what love was, the difference between homosexuality and heterosexuality, or what one should do in a relationship.
But she had clearly defined her birthday wish.
Amidst the cheers of the crowd, she opened her eyes, blew out all the candles in one breath, a sly smile appearing on her small face.
Someone asked her, “Zhizhi, what wish did you make this year?”
Xu Luzhi blinked: “It’s a secret.”
She wouldn’t tell anyone; it was her own little secret, one she couldn’t even let Lin Qingyue figure out.
She would quietly approach her, make her dependent on herself, and never able to leave her again.
Xu Luzhi’s birthday wish was: “Zhizhi is not in a hurry to grow up; Zhizhi wants to possess her.”
To slowly consume Lin Qingyue and turn her into hers.
The girl folded her pure white wings, and on her seventeenth birthday, revealed the small horns of a demon, willingly resorting to scheming and maneuvering step by step.
Only by being a bad child could she get what she wanted.
Neither Xu Luwei nor anyone else could compete with her.
Amidst the joyful music, Xu Luzhi held her head high, accepting everyone’s blessings. Her gaze swept across the room toward the corner where Lin Qingyue was, and her heart softened.
She wished she could grow wings and fly to her side, carve open her heart and carefully interpret it, so that she would understand her infatuation.
But there was no rush the story had just begun.
When she turned eighteen, she would get what she wanted.
Xu Luzhi had always been very confident in herself, especially when facing difficult math and physics problems. While others were struggling, she could always spot the correct method at a glance, solving the problem with irresistible force, cleanly and decisively, always earning praise from her teachers.
The same was true at this moment.
