Falling After Marriage - Chapter 48
Chapter 48: You Are The Happiness My Money Can’t Buy
The loud and powerful music had a blood-pumping effect, and alcohol was the dark world’s catalyst for reckless abandon.
Perhaps, more intoxicating than wine was the crazy woman.
Cheng Sangluo was pulled by her tie, forced to hunch her neck, stumbling along behind Lin Jin.
She was at a loss, thinking she should stop Lin Jin’s arrogant behavior, yet at this critical juncture, she was preoccupied with irrelevant matters.
She gazed at that slender and straight back, her mind momentarily drifting. The air, fragrant with perfume, held a scent of cedarwood, as always, soothing and yet stripping away all reason.
So, while distracted, she tried hard to absorb the familiar scent, and the flush on her face made her feel lightheaded, as if she had been drinking.
Lin Jin, leading her ‘puppy,‘ rushed through the visually chaotic corridor with an unstoppable momentum, as if she would kill anyone or Buddha who stood in her way.
Until they burst into the restroom.
She hooked the door shut with the tip of her high heel. The door slammed shut with a bang, and she quickly locked it, severing any interruption to the ensuing pleasure from people outside.
This sequence of actions was seamless, secretly infused with too many complex emotions: eagerness, and anger with nowhere to vent.
The security downstairs was strict, preventing ordinary guests from going up to the second floor to disturb the VIPs. Coupled with the fact that the private rooms were fully equipped, the restroom at the end of the corridor became the most deserted corner of the bar.
The heavy door blocked the external noise. In the champagne-toned space, only the muffled rhythm of the speakers remained, along with their own irregular breathing.
Cheng Sangluo couldn’t explain where the inexplicable tension came from, only responding to the sudden solitude with silence.
She was more cooperative than usual, moving spontaneously with every step, offering no resistance.
Until they approached the marble sink, Lin Jin, contrary to her usual role, became the one who caged freedom.
She braced one hand on the sink beside Cheng Sangluo and pressed the other on the broad shoulder. Her cool, pale face gradually flushed with anger.
But she didn’t utter cruel accusations, nor did she unleash a turbulent rage. She just stared quietly, as if wanting to pierce through Cheng Sangluo’s soul to see what kind of emotions were hidden beneath the flesh.
“You…” Cheng Sangluo felt utterly uncomfortable being stared at. A tingling sensation crept up her fingertips, so she fluttered her lips, unsure what to say to ease the tension. “What do you want?“
Lin Jin shifted her gaze to her reflection in the mirror. A hint of defeat flashed across her deep eyes. She was clearly furious, yet when getting close, she couldn’t vent any of that anger.
This emotion was trapped in her heart, causing a painful ache in her chest, and making her eyes hurt too.
But Cheng Sangluo wasn’t the only stubborn one; Lin Jin was also fiercely resolute. So, she endured the urge, bottling up the moisture that threatened to spill.
The two, separated by a kiss-length distance, fell into silence, both waiting for the other to take a step forward. Even a small step might make the atmosphere clearer.
Cheng Sangluo sensed a trace of softness leaking from the crazy woman. Her stubbornly straight back leaned against the mirror, also secretly softening a bit.
She straightened the tie that had been yanked and tilted her head to examine the beautiful woman whose eyes were crimson. She muttered defiantly: “Governors are allowed to set fires, but the common people are not allowed to light lamps?“
What a stubbornly harsh mouth; in the end, it still couldn’t utter anything pleasant.
Of course, she had a reason to speak up for herself, considering that she, Cheng Sangluo, wasn’t the one with an arm around two people.
“Tsk.” Lin Jin scoffed.
She was probably laughing at how cute Cheng Sangluo looked when throwing a tantrum, but she didn’t expose how sour the jar of vinegar that someone had overturned was.
The atmosphere seemed to have softened slightly.
Lin Jin grabbed Cheng Sangluo’s tie again, pulling her closer to examine her more clearly, and then more closely.
She wanted those bright, sharp eyes to only reflect herself. “You’re too disobedient. You always let my warnings go in one ear and out the other.“
“I have a good reason not to tell you about working, so you won’t give me trouble again.” Cheng Sangluo leaned in, instinctively reaching out to hold the crazy woman’s soft, slender waist. “I’m earning money to make a living and to pay off debts. You shouldn’t be mad at me for this.“
“Are you blaming me for being unreasonable… or are you…” How could Lin Jin not detect the hidden meaning in her puppy’s words? She moved her face closer, letting her nose graze those mumbling lips, and deliberately asked in a drawn-out tone: “Blaming me for being intimate with other women?“
At the mention of that, Cheng Sangluo resisted the itch on her mouth and pressed her lips tightly, turning her head away with an inexplicable irritation.
She gave no response. Some things couldn’t be said out loud. It was as if saying them would mean she truly minded the situation.
Lin Jin cupped her face and turned it back, smiling even more brightly. “If you didn’t mind, you wouldn’t try to hide, would you?“
“Hmph…” Cheng Sangluo pretended indifference. “Why should I mind? You should be the one minding me getting too close to Miss Shu.“
Mentioning Shu Wan made Lin Jin’s smile freeze slightly. She glanced at the suit on her puppy. “Dressed like a respectable person, you even speak with confidence. Take off the jacket, I find it dirty.“
Cheng Sangluo was being stubborn and refused: “I won’t.“
“Do I have to personally peel off this layer of skin?” Lin Jin demanded, her hands already grabbing Cheng Sangluo’s collar and pulling down. “I won’t allow any obstructive person or thing between us. Especially Shu Wan.“
“Stop fooling around!” Cheng Sangluo scolded softly, effortlessly scooping up the crazy woman’s waist and turning to set her on the sink. “Shu Wan and I are completely innocent. It’s not what you think.“
“What kind of appearance do I see?” Lin Jin countered, raising her eyebrows. Her legs wrapped around her puppy’s waist, pulling her tightly against her body. “How does Shu Wan feel to hold? Does she smell good? Have you ever thought about sleeping with her?“
Those harsh, crude words drilled into Cheng Sangluo’s ears, making it sound as if she had actually done or thought those things. This provoked her into exasperatedly scolding: “Lin Jin! What nonsense are you talking about?“
Lin Jin leaned her soft back against the mirror, chuckling provocatively: “You shouldn’t be questioning what I said, but firmly refuting that you didn’t, shouldn’t you?“
“I didn’t!” Cheng Sangluo raised her voice again. Feeling unable to move her arms properly, she angrily stripped off her jacket and tossed it aside. “Are you satisfied now?”
“Is the puppy declaring her loyalty to me?” Lin Jin spread her long, slender fingers over Cheng Sangluo’s face, tracing the hot cheek up to the back of her head, and suddenly pulling her close. “Am I not as stimulating as her, that you have to pine for her?”
Cheng Sangluo knew the crazy woman’s words were spoken out of anger. Just as she was about to retort, her head was pushed and buried in a fragrant snowy plain.
Lin Jin straightened her proudly defined breasts, trembling with laughter: “Doing it in a different place occasionally is very exciting~”
“Lin… mmph…” Cheng Sangluo panicked, wanting to pull away, but her reason was dissolved by the rich scent filling her nostrils.
Lin Jin pulled out her puppy’s hair tie, her palm rubbing the hair, then lifting a strand to sniff it.
“If you don’t want this, you can push me away. You’re so strong, wouldn’t it be easy to push me away?” She spoke the truth, even offering a good solution.
Cheng Sangluo struggled to lift her head, trying hard to calm her chaotic breathing. Her voice was laced with a pleading weakness: “I’m still at work… this place isn’t appropriate… don’t make it difficult for me…”
Hearing the word difficult, Lin Jin chuckled with a long-lost feeling. When she was practically throwing herself into her mouth, how was that difficult?
“Aren’t you working right now? Serving a VIP like me is what you should be doing. And this place is perfectly appropriate. I even hope Shu Wan is standing outside the door so she can hear you asking me for more~” Her twisted logic flowed easily. She lifted the black gauze skirt and covered Cheng Sangluo’s head. “You’re angry and jealous, and you know exactly what you want most right now. Why bother with this hypocritical torment?”
Lin Jin’s seductive tone was too alluring, easily breaking through the thoughts Cheng Sangluo dared not show. So, she stroked her puppy’s head through the skirt fabric, seeming to both soothe and incite.
“Sangluo… you… mmph… you look so hungry, so hungry…”
The spacious and empty restroom amplified Lin Jin’s joy, wrapped in sweetness.
She was overcome by passion, but also partially deliberate, seemingly wanting to drown out the noise of the outside world, to announce the enviable frenzy she was experiencing.
Cheng Sangluo, however, was silent, her refusal to speak making her appear cold, forming a stark contrast to the beautiful and unrestrained crazy woman pressed against the mirror.
Her white shirt had half-slipped below her shoulder blades. The tie hung naturally around her neck, swaying gently left and right with the movement of her arms.
When passion peaked, she arched her back.
Her disheveled long hair concealed her lack of composure.
At this moment, she was generous, giving the crazy woman everything she desired.
Lin Jin straightened her toes.
Her lips parted, rendered speechless.
She could only keep gasping for breath.
Her crimson eyes were adorned with the fragmented light of the overhead lamp, becoming brighter as her puppy became more serious.
Just before the climax.
She looked almost frightened, grabbing both ends of the tie with both hands, incessantly pulling herself toward Cheng Sangluo’s nape.
Her voice was hoarse, repeating: “You are mine… only mine… no one can take you away… absolutely no one…”
Over the past month, Cheng Sangluo had brought Lin Jin to the peak countless times, but this was the first time she saw the crazy woman looking so insecure.
Lin Jin didn’t want to play a solo act. She commanded urgently: “Say it. Say you are mine. Answer me!”
Despite the demand, Cheng Sangluo still didn’t respond.
She suddenly slowed down, like slamming on the brakes.
It wasn’t to spoil the fun, but it contained a little bit of private self-interest.
She wanted this intimate moment to last longer, to allow the delicate woman to properly catch her breath.
Lin Jin couldn’t stand the sudden stop. She whined with a crying tone: “You… you can’t do this…”
“Lin Jin.” The person who had been silent for too long finally spoke, her tone surprisingly gentle. “I am not yours. I am my own. Sometimes not possessing does not mean not belonging.”
Lin Jin was stunned. Her scattered thoughts made her unable to grasp the meaning of the sentence for a moment, but it didn’t sound like a bad meaning.
She wrapped her arms around her puppy’s neck, pleading in a soft voice: “Hold me again, okay?”
Cheng Sangluo buried her head in Lin Jin’s neck, finally voicing the resentment that had been suppressed in her heart during the passionate confusion: “I hate you holding those women… it makes me feel… that I’m just like them, publicly priced…”
“No… you’re different…” Lin Jin cupped her puppy’s chin, her fingertips trembling subtly. “You are an existence I can’t value, the happiness that money can’t buy, the moon I can’t catch or scoop up…”
The deeply affectionate words were thought-provoking. Cheng Sangluo couldn’t immediately respond with equally sweet words.
She was always silent, always wanting to use meaningful words at the right time. So, she could only respond with honest actions.
She gently held Lin Jin’s fingertip in her mouth, grinding it subtly with her lips and teeth, grinding out more desired lust.
Lin Jin turned her head to kiss her ear, to transmit the same tingling sensation, to empathize with their rare mutual tenderness.
Another round of forgotten, blissful happiness.
Lin Jin continued to speak nonsense loudly, wrapped in a laugh of uncontrollable pleasure.
Until…
‘Bang, bang, bang—Bang, bang, bang—Bang, bang, bang—’
The restroom door was being violently knocked on from the outside, over and over, with a persistent stubbornness.
The two embraced intimately, acting as if they couldn’t hear, wantonly indulging in their world of pleasure.
Lin Jin’s interest was somewhat disturbed by the banging. She frowned toward the door and murmured: “Come home with me, okay? You can do whatever you want at home…”
But it was Cheng Sangluo who was ready for action.
“Am I not working hard enough?” She answered with a question, tightening her arm around the waist, saying something to please Lin Jin: “Ignore them. You just need to close your eyes and enjoy what we’re doing…”
Meanwhile.
Shu Wan, standing outside the door, stopped knocking.
She held a full bottle of foreign liquor in her hand, savagely taking a gulp as if venting her anger. The fake gentleness on her face was long gone, replaced by gloom wrapped in deep sadness.
She had never revealed her true self like this—so unrestrained, so anxious and irritable.
Shu Wan heard it. She heard everything.
The world inside the door was more frantic than the world outside. The trembling, crying voice was tirelessly calling out, calling Cheng Sangluo’s name.
Those three words suddenly became sharp thorns, piercing her ears and her heart, and turning into a kind of irony from Lin Jin.
Jealousy is a dangerous emotion. It turns people hideous.
