Exclusively Possessed By A Yandere Rich Girl - Chapter 16.1
“Feifei, if you space out again, I’m going to hit you.” Zhu Nianxi’s voice was gentle.
Xu Fei felt so wronged. You’re the one being confessed to.
She was agonizing over whether to dig for intel, like asking Zhu Nianxi if she knew Luo Feng or what her impression of her was. But she was afraid that if the Omega didn’t know her yet, asking would make her aware.
As she agonized, she got a problem wrong that Zhu Nianxi had just explained.
Game over.
Xu Fei felt embarrassed herself. She looked toward the Omega, her gaze unconsciously revealing anticipation.
“Hold out your hand,” Zhu Nianxi said, playing with the pen in her hand. “The left one.”
Xu Fei hesitantly complied.
Tap. The black pen fell, landing neither too hard nor too soft against her palm.
Zhu Nianxi tilted her head and gave a small “hmpf”: “Listen carefully. When you’re with me, you’re not allowed to think about other people or things.”
Xu Fei lowered her head, staring at her palm. Her left hand clenched instinctively, the patch of skin that had been struck felt strange, a scorching heat traveling all the way to her heart.
It didn’t hurt at all. It was itchy.
With the monthly exams approaching, the two studied until 11:30 PM.
Zhu Nianxi closed her book and yawned in front of Xu Fei, stretching her arms. A beautiful mist floated in her eyes.
Xu Fei knew Zhu Nianxi had stayed up late specifically to accompany her. Zhu Nianxi always finished her homework early and would watch Xu Fei with interest from the side.
Xu Fei’s heart felt warm. She began cleaning up the desk when Zhu Nianxi suddenly called her name.
The Omega lay lazily on the table like a stretching cat. “Feifei, did you forget something?”
Zhu Nianxi peeled off the suppressant patch, and the intertwined scent of oak and rose instantly filled the study.
“Or would you rather go to the bedroom?”
Xu Fei’s face heated up, her words stuttering. “H-here.”
They had seen the doctor that morning. Because of Xu Fei’s sudden differentiation, her gland was unstable. She needed the Omega’s help to release more pheromones to help her body adapt to the changes.
Zhu Nianxi was undoubtedly the best candidate, the only one.
Xu Fei rubbed her fingertips, even before marking, her palms were sweaty. She secretly wiped them on her pants, gently moved behind her, and softly brushed the hair aside. She braced her hand on the table, careful not to touch too much of the Omega’s skin. Her heart pounded as she prepared to bite.
Zhu Nianxi turned her head, and Xu Fei’s lips brushed against the tip of the Omega’s ear.
Zhu Nianxi’s lips curved downward slightly: “You held me yesterday. Are you not going to hold me today?”
Xu Fei’s mouth felt numb. she shook her head frantically, making a few “ah” sounds without getting a word out. Truly not knowing what to do, her arms stiffened as she hugged Zhu Nianxi.
Zhu Nianxi’s lips curled into a satisfied smile as she found the most comfortable angle in Xu Fei’s arms. “You can mark me now.”
Xu Fei always seemed old-fashioned in her ways, few words, lots of hard work. It was true for her studies, her part time job, and now, the marking.
A sharp yet gentle possession landed on the neck. Pain and numbness exploded together. The Alpha’s scent seeped into every inch of flesh, the crisp floral fragrance was wrapped and saturated by the woody scent. A light white rose fell, resting in the sun-drenched forest.
Zhu Nianxi’s back tensed, and she instinctively shrank further into Xu Fei’s embrace. The corners of her eyes flushed with satisfaction, her fine brows furrowed, and her red lips parted slightly, revealing snowy teeth and a vivid tongue.
Zhu Nianxi softly moaned Xu Fei’s name, her breath hot. “Feifei…”
Xu Fei felt fireworks going off in her heart. Seeing Zhu Nianxi comfortable made her happy.
When the marking was over, Xu Fei continued cleaning the desk, even packing up the Omega’s bag. Zhu Nianxi reclined in the lounge chair, the flush on her face lingering, looking utterly satiated down to her hair.
She reached out and touched Xu Fei’s knuckles. “Does it still hurt?”
Xu Fei was full of questions. Zhu Nianxi reminded her. “The left hand.”
She had almost forgotten. And with Zhu Nianxi’s strength, how could that be considered a “hit”? At most, it was a tickle.
Xu Fei answered honestly. “It doesn’t hurt.”
Zhu Nianxi lowered her eyes in feigned disappointment. “It doesn’t hurt? Then will you forget later?”
Xu Fei blurted out, “I won’t forget.”
She remembered everything clearly. Zhu Nianxi liked it firm, and she liked hugs.
Looking at the top of the Alpha’s fluffy head, Zhu Nianxi finally got her wish and patted it twice. “So capable.”
Xu Fei was still savoring the moment.
Waking up the next day, Xu Fei was even more aware of the threat Luo Feng posed. Zhu Nianxi was so wonderful; of course people would like her.
But how could she confess! The monthly exams were almost here, it would affect her studies!
Thinking back to what her classmates said about “this week,” Xu Fei couldn’t sit still. During the break, she found Qin Weiran to scout the enemy.
Xu Fei probed. “Have you heard? Luo Feng seems to be confessing. Which day was it?”
Qin Weiran looked at her, her expression gloomy. “After the exams.”
The monthly exams lasted three days, with a makeup day on Saturday, running from Thursday until the National Day holiday.
Xu Fei could guess Luo Feng’s intentions; if she succeeded, they’d have the whole National Day holiday to date.
“There will be teachers patrolling after the exams, right? It’s easy to get caught.” This was something even Xu Fei knew.
Qin Weiran shot her a quick glance. “I suggested it. If she sees a teacher, she might not confess.”
You can do that! Xu Fei realized. A new world of possibilities opened up before her.
Qin Weiran felt unsettled by the look Xu Fei was giving her. “Actually, I don’t think she’ll succeed.”
Xu Fei agreed wholeheartedly. “I don’t think she’ll succeed either.”
Qin Weiran thought Xu Fei was comforting her and smiled. She leaned against the railing and whispered, “So, I’m not afraid of her being with Zhu Nianxi. I’m afraid of her being heartbroken.”
The air was thick with the sentimental atmosphere of youth.
An elegant figure came into view. Zhu Nianxi was carrying a stack of books from the office, seemingly heading upstairs. Zhu Nianxi gave Xu Fei a neutral look and kept walking.
Qin Weiran saw her too: “After all, Zhu Nianxi has such a sense of…” distance.
Before she could finish, a figure vanished before her eyes. Xu Fei had run over and skillfully taken the books.
“Nianxi, let me help you.”
“Okay.” Zhu Nianxi let go.
Only then did Xu Fei remember Qin Weiran, she mouthed “sorry” and excitedly followed Zhu Nianxi upstairs.
Qin Weiran: ?
Carrying the books, Xu Fei was very proud of her own perceptiveness. How could Zhu Nianxi carry things? Now that they went to school together, she carried the Omega’s backpack too. Like Zhu Nianxi said, she was doing “what she could do.”
They walked side by side up the stairs.
Zhu Nianxi suddenly spoke. “Xu Fei, you are an Alpha now.”
Xu Fei nodded. She was, she was.
“So,” Zhu Nianxi looked at her, “you must learn to keep your distance from Omegas.”
Xu Fei looked at the gap between them, less than a fist’s width and thought for a few seconds before remembering Qin Weiran.
Just as she was about to speak, her gaze crossed Zhu Nianxi’s shoulder. She saw a tall girl with a high ponytail walking out of a classroom nearby, it was Luo Feng. She was chatting with friends and hadn’t noticed them yet.
Only one thought remained in Xu Fei’s mind. Can’t let her see Zhu Nianxi! With Luo Feng’s personality, she would definitely come over to talk.
Zhu Nianxi looked displeased, her eyes narrowing dangerously. “Xu Fei, who are you looking at again?”
Before she could finish, a warm sensation touched her wrist. Xu Fei grabbed her hand and pulled her with a surge of strength toward the stairwell corner.
The Alpha leaned forward, easily shielding her entire body. The oak scent descended densely. At the base of the woody fragrance, the white rose boldly declared ownership. Clean and clear, only their two pheromones.
Luo Feng walked away, and Xu Fei’s alarm was deactivated. Great. If that Alpha had seen Zhu Nianxi, who knows how long she would have pestered her.
She let go and lowered her brows as she looked at Zhu Nianxi. “We’re just classmates, and…”
Xu Fei’s face reddened: “I’m already your Alpha.”
She had seen this online before, after marking, an Alpha would say to an Omega, “You are my Omega.” Xu Fei believed the reverse was also true.
The oak scent, wrapped in body heat, still seemed to linger at the tip of her nose. Zhu Nianxi’s eyelashes fluttered, and she didn’t look at Xu Fei again. “Anyway, you can’t be this close to other Omegas.”
Having said that, she turned to leave, but stopped after a few steps and looked at the stunned Alpha: “Hurry up and follow me.”
Dinner ended, and it was time for their study session.
Remembering her bag was still downstairs, Xu Fei told Zhu Nianxi and jogged down to get it. On her way back, she encountered an unfamiliar male Alpha on the stairs.
He looked shocked. “Who are you?”
Xu Fei was stunned for a few seconds. Noting his expensive suit, her guess hadn’t even landed before he spoke.
“You must be Zhu Nianxi’s friend. I’m her father.” Zhu Tianyu glanced at the Huaiyang Middle School uniform and scoffed. “Rare. She actually lets you stay here?”
His tone was strange, and his gaze made her even more uncomfortable.
Xu Fei stayed cautious, finding an excuse to slip away: “Um, Uncle, Nianxi is waiting for me upstairs. I’ll be going now…”
“Don’t go yet, let’s chat a bit more.” Zhu Tianyu reached out to grab Xu Fei.
At that moment, an icy voice dropped from above.
“What are you doing here!”
Zhu Nianxi walked quickly down the stairs, standing in front of Xu Fei. Her voice was still tense. “Are you okay?”
Xu Fei nodded dumbly. “I’m fine.”
Zhu Tianyu gave a contemptuous smile. “Is this necessary?” Since Wen Xi passed away, when had his daughter ever looked this panicked?
“I was just…” He read the name on Xu Fei’s tag. “…having a few words with Classmate Xu Fei.”
Zhu Nianxi’s face grew even darker. She ignored Zhu Tianyu and turned to head back upstairs. Her pace became steady again, and her voice returned to its usual cool tone.
“Xu Fei, come upstairs with me.”
Xu Fei hurriedly followed the Omega’s lead. “Nianxi…”
“Let’s go back.” Zhu Nianxi gripped Xu Fei’s wrist tightly, her fingertips trembling.
Back in the study, Zhu Nianxi immediately pulled out a test paper, showing no intention of chatting further. Xu Fei found it hard to concentrate, secretly observing Zhu Nianxi’s state. The Omega hid it too well; she couldn’t see any abnormality, but the pain in her wrist spoke of the agitation.
During a break, Xu Fei received a long-awaited message from Mei Qia. Because of her illness and sudden differentiation, she hadn’t gone to the bar for work in almost a week.
Mei Qia: Feifei, are you coming during National Day? The waterproofing downstairs is done.
Xu Fei didn’t rush to reply. She looked at the person beside her. Zhu Nianxi’s eyes were lowered as she corrected the review quiz Xu Fei had just finished.
“Nianxi, do you have plans for National Day?”
Zhu Nianxi’s hand paused. She calmly marked a check on the paper. “I have to go to my grandmother’s place.”
Xu Fei thought of the man she just met and asked one more question. “Will… will your father be going too?”
Zhu Nianxi lowered her eyes. “Yes.”
Zhu Guoxiang needed her to keep up appearances, and she needed Zhu Guoxiang’s connections. Only Zhu Tianyu spent every day lost in the fantasy of being called “CEO Zhu.”
Xu Fei realized the problem. If Zhu Nianxi went to her grandmother’s, the villa would be empty. If the Omega wasn’t there, would it be bad for her to stay alone?
Xu Fei hadn’t forgotten Zhu Nianxi’s “stay by my side,” but she hadn’t assumed it meant she would stay forever. Her gland status was stable, and the marking was about to fade…
Xu Fei chose her words carefully. “Nianxi, when the holiday starts, I’ll move back. I’m really grateful for this time. If you want, at any time…”
Before she could finish, Zhu Nianxi looked over. “Okay.”
Zhu Tianyu’s presence reminded Zhu Nianxi that she couldn’t risk exposing Xu Fei to others. She was still a minor, and Huantai wasn’t hers yet.
Annoying. Why wasn’t it them who died?
Xu Fei was stunned. Just like that… she agreed?
How strange, her heart felt empty.
Zhu Nianxi rubbed the edge of the paper. “In any case… we’ll still see each other at school.”
Xu Fei’s ears perked up instantly. Wait, did Zhu Nianxi not want her to leave?
Knowing the Omega wanted her there made her happy, but Xu Fei didn’t want Zhu Nianxi to be sad.
Zhu Nianxi’s gaze lingered on the same line of text for a long time. The temperature had dropped recently, and her leg was starting to hurt again.
In her peripheral vision, a fluffy head appeared. Xu Fei was lying on the desk, her large eyes sparkling like glass beads.
“Nianxi, look at me.”
The Alpha held up two fingers, walking them like a little person toward her, climbing onto the book and theatrically kneeling on one knee. Zhu Nianxi watched quietly, her gaze moving to Xu Fei’s face.
Xu Fei’s face was bright red, but she endured the embarrassment to continue the performance. She tucked her thumb in, mimicking a hand extended for an invitation, and pitched her voice high. “Lovely young lady, if you have time, may I come and play with you?”
Zhu Nianxi burst out laughing. “You’re so childish.”
Zhu Nianxi laughed! Xu Fei’s mood brightened completely.
“Find me anytime. I’m always here.”
As she said this, she looked at Zhu Nianxi intently, her gaze so sincere it was almost reverent. Zhu Nianxi never doubted that.
She thought of something else. “After you go back, are you still living with your boss?”
Xu Fei shook her head. “I stay in a different room.”
Zhu Nianxi frowned. “The storage room downstairs?” When Xu Fei moved in, she had taken a quick glance at the door. It was so small, probably only 3 square meters and had no windows. How could someone live there?
Xu Fei’s tone was light. “It’s actually very comfortable! I only need a bed, and there’s an extra desk for homework. I can shower in the staff room, and if I open the door, I even get the air conditioning!”
Zhu Nianxi gazed at the Alpha’s face. Xu Fei was always optimistic, she knew that better than anyone. But Xu Fei’s optimism shouldn’t have to be used on survival. It was her own oversight before.
She would find a way.
The night before the monthly exams, Xu Fei packed up her desk and bag, said goodnight to Zhu Nianxi, and returned to her room.
