Exclusively Possessed By A Yandere Rich Girl - Chapter 15
Those words left the nearby classmates dumbfounded.
Ning Siyi was the most shocked of all. Having previously been in the experimental class, she was far more familiar with Zhu Nianxi’s way of doing things than anyone else. On the surface, Zhu Nianxi was gentle and polite, but in reality, she was cold and distant. No one had ever seen her get close to anyone. She was a textbook “flower on a high mountain” completely untouchable.
Zhu Nianxi packed her schoolbag with slow, unhurried movements. Accustomed to being the center of attention, she paid no mind to the staring eyes. Besides, she hadn’t come to Class 7 for them anyway.
Xu Fei was still feeling anxious. The Omega was indeed angry. She wondered if her anger had subsided by now.
Seeing that Zhu Nianxi had finished packing, Xu Fei didn’t care whether her behavior seemed overly subservient or not. She quickly grabbed the bag, taking the initiative to carry it for her. Unable to handle the intense stares, Xu Fei urged her weakly, “Nianxi, let’s go quickly.”
Zhu Nianxi let out a soft laugh. Walking beside Xu Fei with her hands completely empty, she elegantly pulled out her phone to text Yan Fu.
[Sorry to keep you waiting. We are heading back together.]
The two walked side by side across the silent campus. The sky was dotted with countless stars, making the atmosphere feel even more tranquil. After wrestling with her thoughts for a long time, Xu Fei finally decided to clarify things.
“It’s not that I don’t want to be with you.”
Zhu Nianxi’s expression shifted slightly. She raised her chin, only willing to look at Xu Fei out of the corner of her eye.
Xu Fei racked her brain to find a tactful way to put it. “Because you are you, and I am me.”
When someone who is always in the spotlight stands next to someone like her, it only layers a coating of dust over them.
Zhu Nianxi’s face grew cold, her beautiful features turning somewhat grim because of her expression. “And who said that to you?”
Why is she even angrier now? Xu Fei pursed her lips and remained silent.
Students respond to the carrot, not the stick. Zhu Nianxi knew this perfectly well. She just felt a wave of frustration mixed with loss.
As they passed beneath a streetlamp, the bright light flowed slowly over the Omega’s body. Xu Fei felt even worse.
Zhu Nianxi’s voice rang out. Her tone was clear and cool, yet mixed with the evening breeze, it carried a matching gentleness. “Feifei, you did what you could do. Therefore, I did what I could do.”
Xu Fei hesitated, words catching in her throat. How could what you did be the same as what she did?
Zhu Nianxi happened to look over just then. The evening breeze blew the bangs away from her forehead, and her pure black, peach-blossom eyes looked like another starry sky. It was as if she could read straight through Xu Fei’s heart.
“But Feifei, there is no difference in the weight of one heart compared to another.”
Xu Fei was choked up, unable to speak for a long time. The difficult problem that had plagued her all day was instantly solved, and the sorrow that had lingered since their reunion scattered away with the night wind.
She hadn’t even realized herself just how much she cared. She cared so much that her chest felt tight and the rims of her eyes turned red. She turned her head away, not wanting Zhu Nianxi to see.
A hand reached out from behind her. The skin was delicate and the fingers slender, holding a handkerchief, which she shook out lightly.
Zhu Nianxi said in a playful tone, “Alright, take it. I won’t look at you.”
After dinner, they studied together in the study room.
The desk was very large, but the two high school students only occupied a single corner. Sitting side by side, they were closer than they usually were as desk mates at school.
Xu Fei had fallen behind the most in mathematics, so Zhu Nianxi adopted the same approach she used for physics. First, they tackled the new material from recent classes, focusing mainly on foundational and medium difficulty problems. Then, they would go back to patch up the previous content, slowly filling the knowledge gaps to bring her scores up.
After an hour of studying, Xu Fei felt dizzy and her eyes were strained. She slumped onto the desk to rest. The last time she had studied this hard was back in her third year of junior high.
Zhu Nianxi temporarily stepped out to pick up a package.
Xu Fei sat up straight, reaching her hand back into her schoolbag. Her fingertips brushed against a soft fabric. It was Zhu Nianxi’s handkerchief.
The touch triggered a memory, reminding Xu Fei of the sensation of burying her face into it. It felt as though she were leaning close to sniff a white rose, an elegant floral scent mixed with snow-like purity.
When Zhu Nianxi returned to the study room, she saw Xu Fei with her head lowered, doing who knows what, her forehead pressed against the desk surface. The tips of her exposed ears were so red they looked ready to bleed.
“Xu Fei?”
The Beta suddenly jolted, hurriedly stuffing the handkerchief back into her schoolbag, and frantically met the newcomer’s gaze.
“What’s wrong?” Zhu Nianxi asked.
“N-nothing.” Xu Fei drank some water with a trembling hand. Stuttering slightly, she shifted the topic. “Did you get the item?”
Zhu Nianxi: “I got it.”
It was an injection to induce an Omega’s heat, commonly used to treat irregular heat cycles or for other erotic purposes. To induce differentiation, she needed pheromones at a heat cycle intensity level. She had already taken the shot, and right now, her fingertips were heating up slightly.
The estimated time for it to take effect was, 10 minutes.
Zhu Nianxi pulled out a test paper, a crimson flush rising on her fair face. “Let’s continue studying.”
“Okay.”
Xu Fei lowered her head, her hand unconsciously tightening around her pen. Were Zhu Nianxi’s lips always this red before?
As time ticked away, starting from her fingertips, Zhu Nianxi’s entire body began to heat up. The Omega pheromones quickly filled the entire study room.
Xu Fei began to experience a reaction, her breathing grew shallow and rapid. Her ears were entirely filled with the sound of her own heartbeat and Zhu Nianxi’s breathing.
Focus! Focus! Xu Fei forced herself to fixate on the math problem.
Zhu Nianxi was not having an easy time either, the reactions during an Omega’s heat cycle were too unspeakable to mention. Under the chemical acceleration of the drug, the heat wave crashed over her with even greater ferocity, leaving her feeling damp and uncomfortable.
But seeing the unfocused look in Xu Fei’s eyes, a mischievous desire to tease her flared up. Zhu Nianxi asked with feigned concern, “Are you feeling unwell? Do you want to go rest?”
Xu Fei shook her head stubbornly. Someone had gone out of their way to take the time to tutor her, there was no reason for her to tuck tail and run! “I’m fine, I’ll study a bit longer.”
After saying that, she pulled a piece of scratch paper over and actually started studying, no longer looking at the Omega.
Suddenly, Zhu Nianxi felt the fun had worn off. An Omega in heat absolutely could not stand being ignored.
She shifted closer to Xu Fei, lowering her head as she drew an auxiliary line with her pen. “This problem is solved like this…”
Amid the soft, velvety voice, Xu Fei turned her head, catching a direct view of Zhu Nianxi’s collar. The nightgown was loose, the soft fabric draping down to reveal a glimpse of exquisite collarbones.
For some reason, Zhu Nianxi’s skin was flushed a faint pink, like it was dusted with rouge. Just looking at it allowed one to imagine its soft, warm texture.
When she snapped out of it, Xu Fei felt like the crown of her head had exploded. She desperately wanted to pull out her phone, put on her broken earphones that only worked on one side, and listen to a cleansing chant to clear out the blasphemous thoughts cropping up in her mind.
Zhu Nianxi curled her lips into a smile and sat back.
Though the physical distance widened, the invasive nature of the pheromones stepped up to a whole new level. No matter how dense Xu Fei was, she could feel it now.
The scent of white roses… was so thick. It was like the most mellow, passionate wine, intoxicating her within just a few breaths.
Her gland felt a bit strange. She reached up to touch it, it was scorching hot. That patch of skin had become incredibly sensitive; a light scrape of her fingernail sent a dense wave of numbness tingling up from the base of her spine.
Enduring the bizarre sensation, she rubbed it a couple more times. Xu Fei was absolutely certain, her Beta gland was swollen. With every breath she inhaled, the fire inside her body flared up a degree higher.
What… is happening to me? Am I running a fever again?
Xu Fei couldn’t hold out any longer, relying entirely on her healthy physical constitution to hang onto a thread of consciousness.
Zhu Nianxi was very kind. “Xu Fei, you can lean on me.”
Just as she was about to refuse, the Omega’s hand brushed over her fingertips. The cool, soft touch left Xu Fei captivated. Her brain was too swollen to think, and half-yielding, she leaned against Zhu Nianxi’s body.
Xu Fei’s eyes were misty and wet, and she accidentally blurted out her innermost thought. “Nianxi, you’re so good to me.”
Zhu Nianxi was amused by her. “It’ll be over soon.”
Xu Fei closed her eyes. Zhu Nianxi reached out, her thumb wiping away the tear at the corner of Xu Fei’s eye.
In truth, back then, she had gone back to look for Xu Fei.
After being transferred back to the hospital in Yanjing, her leg received extensive medical treatment. The doctors were highly skilled; the nerves and bones were reattached, so it didn’t come to an amputation.
On the day she was discharged, Zhu Nianxi was in a wheelchair. She couldn’t help but think about the doctor’s words. “The injury is quite severe. The subsequent recovery depends on the patient’s willpower and luck, there is a possibility of a limp.”
Old Mrs. Zhu kept sending people over to test her thoughts, brainwashing her to forgive Zhu Tianyu. “He is your father after all, your flesh and blood.”
One day, Yan Fu came in. “The person has been found. She’s still in the northern town.”
A few days later, they returned to the small town. Yan Fu pushed her into a residential area. The buildings nearby were all low-rise, none exceeding three stories. They were likely products of the last century, looking old and cramped from afar.
Zhu Nianxi lowered her eyes. Under the watchful gaze of the locals, they turned into an even narrower alleyway.
Yan Fu: “It should be right around here.”
The roads were too winding, and they got lost. Yan Fu went ahead to ask for directions while the bodyguard pushed her to the side of the road, right across from a small courtyard filled with sponge gourds. The gourds grew abundantly, completely blocking the line of sight.
Zhu Nianxi looked up, her gaze connecting with a few young children in the distance. They had been chattering about something, but seeing her look over, they immediately ran away. She knew without asking it was because of her leg.
Zhu Nianxi suppressed her rising irritation. Just then, the door of the house behind the courtyard opened, and a dispute drifted out from within. A familiar name caught her ear, prompting her to peer inside.
“I hope you will think it over carefully. Let Xu Fei return to Yanjing for high school. Her household registration is in Yanjing, so she can transfer back.”
The elderly person had barely spoken when he was cut off by another loud male voice. “Easy for you to say! Are you paying for it?!”
“The state provides subsidies.”
“Subsidies mean jack shit,” the male voice grew even more aggressive. “Aren’t you just Xu Shaowu’s classmate? What the hell are you sticking your nose into so many matters for?!”
With a loud BANG, the door was slammed shut.
Two people walked out of the courtyard. Hidden by the sponge gourd vines, Zhu Nianxi clearly saw their faces.
Zhu Nianxi’s breath hitched. It really was her.
Xu Fei’s head was hanging very low. “Auntie, please don’t come back after this. He won’t agree.”
The woman squatted down. “Ignore him. Tell me, can you take the exam?”
Xu Fei couldn’t hold it back anymore. She burst into tears, trying hard to wipe them away, but no matter how she wiped, she couldn’t clear them. Zhu Nianxi heard her sobbing voice. “I can.”
A man’s shouting echoed from the courtyard. Xu Fei wiped her eyes with her sleeve once more and went back inside, while the woman walked out. Passing by her, the woman’s expression visibly froze for a second. Her gaze swept over Zhu Nianxi’s leg before she quickly left.
Yan Fu came jogging back. “I’ve asked. It’s right inside.” After saying that, she grabbed the wheelchair.
Zhu Nianxi pressed her hand down over Yan Fu’s. “Auntie Yan, let’s go back.”
Yan Fu was stunned. “We’re not meeting her?” Zhu Nianxi had been in low spirits since being discharged from the hospital, and it was rare for her to want to go out.
“I’ve already seen her.” Zhu Nianxi placed her hands on her lap, lowering her eyes as she rubbed her fingertips together. “The timing isn’t right. I have something else to trouble you with.”
Mind returning to reality, Xu Fei was snuggling beside her in a very awkward posture, her neck tucked in. The body temperature of an Alpha undergoing differentiation was astonishingly hot, her face instinctively rubbed against Zhu Nianxi’s neck to soothe the burning heat.
Zhu Nianxi thought that Xu Fei must be completely out of her mind with fever, otherwise, she wouldn’t dare act like this. Normally, the Beta only dared to sneak glances or steal sniffs of her pheromones.
No, wait. Perhaps she should say, Alpha.
An S-grade Omega’s pheromones were not weaker than an Alpha’s, especially when the host was in heat and intentionally releasing them.
The white roses came with an overwhelming force. The thorny vines wrapped inch by inch around the body of the person in her arms, slipping under the fabric, crawling up against her skin, and finally stopping right over the half-ripened gland.
Zhu Nianxi didn’t need to give a conscious command, instinct would issue the pheromone directive. The Beta’s gland was like a door, and the Omega’s pheromones broke through it without a shred of effort.
The blocked pathway was restarted. The white roses occupied this physical vessel first, and then, from the deepest depths of the soul, a small sapling broke through the soil and grew rapidly.
Xu Fei opened her eyes, realizing the change in her body. Reality and theory were at war. How could this be?
“Shh…” Zhu Nianxi said softly. “Don’t speak.” Don’t ruin this moment.
At first, it was just a very faint warmth, like soft light piercing through the clouds, gently enveloping Zhu Nianxi. As the scent thickened, a steady, heavy woody undertone settled in, carrying the cool, damp, fresh air of green vegetation. Unlike ordinary Alpha pheromones that were full of aggression, it possessed an undeniable sense of presence.
In a single instant, the scent of oak filled the entire room.
The white rose stood proudly upon the branch, and the two streams of pheromones blended and intertwined, as if they were born as one.
Xu Fei was unable to snap out of it for a long time. She needed someone to tell her that this wasn’t an illusion.
Zhu Nianxi turned her head, a delight that Xu Fei couldn’t quite comprehend flickering within her dark eyes. Word by word, the Omega said.
“Yes, Xu Fei. You are an Alpha.”
My Alpha.
