Everyone Loves the Villainous Scumbag [Quick Transmigration] - Chapter 14
“Your lips are swollen. Did you not even notice?” Fu Chen’s voice was icy. Although his expression remained as indifferent as ever, he seemed somewhat angry.
Luo Jianghe looked at his face repeatedly. After confirming the other person truly showed no expression, he secretly wondered if he was just being sensitive. He reached out and touched Fu Chen’s hand, attempting to move it away from his face.
“Oh, this,” he said. He offered no explanation, nor was he comfortable giving one.
Fortunately, since Fu Chen was destined to be gay, Luo Jianghe did not feel too awkward. He tried to brush the matter aside with vague words. However, Fu Chen did not give him the chance to avoid the subject. He leaned closer to Luo Jianghe, forcing him to look directly into his eyes.
The feeling Fu Chen gave off was very different from Yu Wuyang. First, in terms of height, Yu Wuyang did not exert such a strong sense of pressure. When Luo Jianghe faced Yu Wuyang, he felt mostly pity; even if the other person did something annoying, he could not truly stay angry with him.
But with Fu Chen, every time he leaned in, Luo Jianghe felt every nerve in his body tighten. He could not relax at all.
“What now? I am already very tired today. Do not provoke me,” Luo Jianghe sighed, speaking with a tone of compromise.
“Do you like that Yu Wuyang?” Fu Chen asked him directly.
“Does it matter?” Luo Jianghe arched an eyebrow.
He felt like a husband being caught and questioned by a wife who suspected him of cheating. Yet, he and Fu Chen were barely even considered new friends. Regardless of whether he liked Yu Wuyang, he felt he had no reason to confess anything to Fu Chen.
“Does it not matter?” In Fu Chen’s ears, those words carried a different meaning. “You mean it does not matter whether you like him or not. Anyone can just kiss you as they please, is that it?”
Now, Fu Chen’s voice was truly filled with coldness. This chill was not from unfamiliarity or distance, but from anger.
Luo Jianghe felt he was truly exhausted to the point of confusion. Why would this person be angry at him? Was it because his answer did not satisfy Fu Chen? That did not seem right.
“Mmm,” Luo Jianghe felt the hand Fu Chen held against his lips press harder. The flesh of his lips was squeezed against his teeth, causing him some pain.
“Stop it, it hurts.”
Truly, Yu Wuyang was the one who kissed him; he had not kissed Yu Wuyang by force. Even if Fu Chen was jealous, should he not go find his “shou”? Why was he acting out toward a supporting character like this?
If only the system allowed him to see Fu Chen’s affection level instead of just Yu Wuyang’s. He suspected Fu Chen’s affection for him might be in the negatives right now. It was impressive that Fu Chen could act like a good friend in front of the Luo family. Aside from studying, this guy clearly had a talent for acting.
Luo Jianghe pulled at Fu Chen’s hand. When one hand failed, he used both. Fu Chen’s hands showed veins even when relaxed, but now that he was using force, his muscles were tightly tensed, making Luo Jianghe feel a bit panicked. Would Fu Chen kill him just because he shared a kiss with his intended partner?
Despite his panic, Fu Chen showed no intention of letting him go. As Luo Jianghe struggled, Fu Chen’s other hand moved to his waist.
Luo Jianghe raised an eyebrow. What on earth was this supposed to mean? His confused eyes stared straight into Fu Chen’s.
Fu Chen was irritated by his thickheadedness. Even now, Luo Jianghe could not understand his feelings. Pulling the boy into his arms, a trace of complexity appeared in Fu Chen’s cold eyes.
As the two drew close, a pair of pale hands suddenly pulled Luo Jianghe out of Fu Chen’s embrace. The air conditioning in the Luo house was not set low; as long as they were home, everyone’s palms were generally warm. Only Yu Wuyang had ice-cold fingertips. A sudden touch from those fingers always sent a shiver down one’s spine.
The three were now in a position where Fu Chen held Luo Jianghe by the waist, while Yu Wuyang gripped Luo Jianghe’s hand, pulling him halfway out of the embrace. Because Luo Jianghe had suddenly let go of Fu Chen and was leaning back, he was now inclined toward Yu Wuyang.
Yu Wuyang had appeared so suddenly that Luo Jianghe looked at him in surprise. However, Yu Wuyang ignored his gaze and faced off against Fu Chen. Fu Chen, naturally, would not back down. His indifferent brows furrowed, and his eyes looked dangerous.
Fu Chen was the tallest and strongest of the three. Luo Jianghe truly feared they might start fighting if this continued. He did not know where Yu Wuyang found the strength to pull him away, but if a fight broke out, Luo Jianghe felt that even he and Yu Wuyang together could not defeat Fu Chen.
Therefore, Luo Jianghe shook his head to break the tension.
“Why did you come down? Is everything upstairs finished?” he asked Yu Wuyang, simultaneously pulling his hand away from Yu Wuyang’s grip.
Yu Wuyang lowered his eyes, masking his expression. Afraid of hurting Luo Jianghe, he let go. “It is finished. I came down to take a look. It seems I arrived at an inconvenient time.”
Even though he let go quickly, a red mark remained around Luo Jianghe’s wrist. Yu Wuyang’s emotions had been too intense, leading to extreme behavior. While he had been straightening the blankets earlier, he had gradually calmed down and felt guilty. Regardless of his feelings, a confession should have been the first step. He should not have kissed Luo Jianghe just because he suspected Luo Jianghe liked him. At the very least, he should have asked for permission. But because Luo Jianghe was so good to him, he had become reckless.
Yu Wuyang knew deep down that as long as he did not cross a serious line, Luo Jianghe would always forgive him with a smile. His Jianghe was simply too gentle. He had been taking that affection for granted.
Having realized this, Yu Wuyang intended to talk to Luo Jianghe and apologize. Yet, as soon as he came downstairs, he saw Luo Jianghe and Fu Chen embracing in an intimate posture. His calmed mind immediately flared with anger. He could not look away. Before he could think, his limbs acted on their own to separate them. Seeing Fu Chen with his arm around Luo Jianghe’s waist made him feel as if his most precious treasure was being stolen.
Anger blinded his reason. When he looked at Fu Chen, he almost felt a murderous intent. He wanted to beat Fu Chen and break the hands that touched Luo Jianghe’s face and waist. Even if he could not win, he was willing to risk his life to take Fu Chen down.
But Luo Jianghe’s voice brought back his reason. More than his desire to hurt Fu Chen, he feared Luo Jianghe’s disgust. His behavior today had already been enough to cause resentment. He did not want to make Luo Jianghe or the family unhappy during the New Year. So, despite his rage, he suppressed his emotions. He told himself to just talk to Luo Jianghe; that would make him feel better.
Meanwhile, Fu Chen stood there watching them, his face looking terrible. He wondered why he had ever pitied Yu Wuyang back at school. This person was clearly not worthy of pity. He used to think Luo Jianghe treated Yu Wuyang as a follower, but now it seemed Yu Wuyang was the one clinging shamelessly.
He had not even been at the Luo house for a full day, yet he had already forced a kiss on Luo Jianghe, and who knew what else happened in the room that caused Luo Jianghe’s lips to swell. Yu Wuyang’s gaze, which used to be somewhat hidden, now marked Fu Chen as a mortal enemy.
Luo Jianghe, however, was more naive than Fu Chen imagined. Despite being treated this way, he still did not kick Yu Wuyang out. Fu Chen truly did not know what was going on in Luo Jianghe’s head. Did he actually like Yu Wuyang?
Thinking this, a normal person might think it was good for lovers to be together. But Fu Chen felt a strange irritation. He was trying his hardest to deny that possibility. This inner thought manifested in his refusal to let go of Luo Jianghe’s waist.
Luo Jianghe’s waist was thin and soft, yet clearly that of a man, with a larger frame than a typical girl’s. He was handsome rather than feminine, gentle but not weak. Fu Chen knew exactly what kind of person he had become interested in. He was young and did not know if he would regret this later, and considering the distant future seemed pointless since people change with age. However, he knew clearly that if he were to give this person up now, he would regret it immediately and for a long time.
Luo Jianghe saw that Yu Wuyang had let go of his hand, so he turned his attention back to Fu Chen. He bit his lower lip and mouthed the word “Release,” signaling Fu Chen to let go.
Seeing this, the irritation on Fu Chen’s face slowly faded, and he released his hold. When a person is being competed for by two others, the one in demand holds the emotional power. Fu Chen felt that being overbearing right now was not the right move. If he wanted to win Luo Jianghe’s heart, he had to make him lean toward his side. Therefore, Luo Jianghe’s needs were important; since he wanted to be released, Fu Chen should let go.
The trio finally separated. Luo Jianghe felt too awkward to speak. He knew Yu Wuyang liked him, but from Fu Chen’s behavior, it did not seem like the forced love or chase dynamic he expected. Fu Chen’s true thoughts were difficult to grasp. Regardless, they seemed to be in a love triangle. He only wanted to play his part as a scumbag; why was he caught in such a mess?
As the atmosphere remained tense, a sound came from the door. Luo Jianghe looked over as his father walked in. Seeing the three of them standing there, the senior Luo’s serious expression showed a rare moment of surprise.
Luo Jianghe saw his father’s stunned look but secretly felt relieved. Fortunately, his father had not seen the three of them pulling and tugging at each other, or he would not have known how to explain it.
