When she woke up again, it was already nine in the morning.

She and Ning Xi only had one night scene to film that day, so they did not need to head to the set until the afternoon.

Yu Qingxue picked up her phone and checked the file status. Seeing that the script had been received, she smiled and curved her lips happily.

After washing up, she walked into the living room and saw Ning Xi sitting there, fully focused on her phone.

Yu Qingxue tiptoed over and sat down beside her.

Ning Xi had no objections, so Yu Qingxue happily wrapped her arms around Ning Xi’s.

She turned to glance at Ning Xi, then couldn’t resist resting her head gently on her shoulder.

Ning Xi felt soft strands of hair brushing against her neck and cheek. The ticklish sensation seemed to seep through her skin, into her veins, and travel straight to her heart.

A tingling warmth spread from her chest outward.

Ning Xi frowned slightly. Something felt off within her.

Before she could figure out why she felt that way, they arrived at the dressing room where Wang You and Wei Nian were.

The door was open, and from outside they could see Wang You removing her makeup. Wei Nian wasn’t in sight.

As Ning Xi and Yu Qingxue walked in, Wang You heard the footsteps and turned around.

She froze.

With only half her makeup removed, she stared at Yu Qingxue clinging closely to Ning Xi’s arm. “What’s going on between you two?”

Wei Nian walked out of the changing area, having already changed her clothes. “Who are you talking to, Sister Youyou?”

She looked up and immediately saw the intimate posture between Ning Xi and Yu Qingxue. She stood there, stunned.

Yu Qingxue smiled softly and said, “Let me introduce you. This is my girlfriend, Ning Xi.”

Wang You jumped to her feet, looking shocked and upset. “You and Ning Xi? How is that possible? When did this start? Don’t tell me it was before we broke up?”

“So that’s how it is, Yu Qingxue. You accused me of cheating, but you weren’t clean either!”

Wei Nian saw Wang You’s face turning pale with anger and quickly rushed over to hold her and calm her down. “Don’t get worked up. Let’s talk it through.”

With Wei Nian’s help, Wang You sat back down, though her expression was still far from calm. Her breathing gradually steadied.

Yu Qingxue spoke again. “I’m sorry, but I didn’t cheat. Ning Xi and I got together after you and I broke up.”

Wang You glared at the two of them. “I don’t believe you.”

To Ning Xi, Wang You’s reaction felt like something out of a stage drama. It was far too exaggerated.

But if this was just how Wang You naturally expressed herself, then it wasn’t really acting.

Ning Xi spoke up calmly, “We really did get together after you two ended things.”
