- Chapter 10 - Night Realm (Part 7): Why Are You Panting So Sexily?
The moment she was thrown onto the bed, Jin Yongyi’s fragile heart shattered into tiny pieces.
She held her breath, squeezed her eyes shut, and crossed her hands over her abdomen, trying to pretend she was already dead. However, the big pig trotter beside her was not kind enough to let her off. His hand brushed twice against her waist before he dragged her entire body into his embrace.
Seemingly finding her hands on her stomach to be in the way, he used one hand to pin both her wrists above her head, completely looming over her.
“Jin Yongyi,” a low, teasing chuckle drifted near her ear, “what are you trying to do?”
Jin Yongyi felt like a hedgehog with its belly exposed, utterly weak and pathetic. She answered miserably: “I want to do whatever the Master wants to do.”
A sudden pain shot through the crook of her neck, followed by a cold, damp breath lingering near her shoulder and moving up toward her earlobe. A kiss that was far from gentle landed on the tip of her ear through her hair.
“Is that so? Then I want to”
“If you like Zhao Fuzhou, I can help you!” Jin Yongyi interrupted him, her words scrambling out in desperation.
The area behind her ear was her most sensitive spot. Even the air from a hair dryer passing over it would give her goosebumps, let alone someone kissing it repeatedly. This was pure torture! She was willing to confess anything!
Jin Yongyi trembled in his arms and threw out a proposal: “Send word out that I am with you! Zhao Fuzhou will definitely come. When he does, you can do whatever you want to him. Look at you two, you look so good together! I give you my blessing, so just let me go, okay?”
“You think I like men?”
To be precise, you like Zhao Fuzhou, right? But it was understandable; who could blame anyone for liking the protagonist of the book?
Jin Yongyi blinked hard at him.
The amusement in his eyes flickered. The hand gripping her waist loosened, and his fingertips moved to the center of her brow, sliding down slowly. It gave her the distinct impression that he was about to slice her in half.
Jin Yongyi had a mournful look on her face. Since she could not free her hands, she twisted her body to avoid his touch.
“Jin Yongyi,” the Hall Master chuckled softly, “are you not aware of your own looks?”
He leaned down, pressing against her ear, and whispered: “You are so beautiful, it makes me want to ruin you.”
It took everything she had for Jin Yongyi not to let out a pig-like squeal. If this guy found out her sensitive spot was behind her ear, she had no doubt this pervert would subject her to some inhumane punishment.
Jin Yongyi’s hair stood on end, but she could only pat herself down pitifully. Squeezing out a strained smile, she said: “I was just joking earlier, haha. Was it not funny?”
The man remained silent, nuzzling against the crook of her neck. At least he was no longer gripping her hands so tightly. Jin Yongyi used the opportunity to break free, pushed him aside, rose calmly, and said with a playful smile: “Let us get down to business! Tell me which one you like, and I will get it for you.”
The Hall Master propped his head on one hand, watching her with interest as she picked through the toys. On the surface, Jin Yongyi looked very serious, touching each one for a while before putting it down, but in reality, her mind was racing with a plan.
She flashed a smile at the man on the bed, and in the next second, she scooped up all the toys, threw them at him, and bolted for the door.
What else could she do? Of the thirty-six stratagems, fleeing was the best. If you cannot win, run! At least the knockout drug plan did not involve Zhao Zhao and the others. Although she had failed, she would escape first and then call Zhao Fuzhou to come and tear this place down!
It was still bright outside. Jin Yongyi straightened her disheveled clothes as she ran. After a short while, a fork in the road appeared. The right side was pitch black, as if something were blocking the entrance, preventing light from getting in.
Without a second thought, Jin Yongyi prepared to run to the left. Just as she took a step, a row of black-clad men holding torches appeared around the corner. Leading them was a charred stick?
Jin Yongyi looked closely; it seemed to be Huan Nu. He was talking loudly to the men behind him, and his words reached her clearly.
“I thought she was just a weak woman. How could her methods be so vicious?”
“Stupid! She was the only one with the Master tonight. Perhaps the Master was blinded by her beauty and fell into her trap.”
“But”
“Shut up! Do you dare say she is not beautiful?”
“Look! She is there!” A man pointed in Jin Yongyi’s direction.
Jin Yongyi looked left and right, but there was no one else: ??
“Capture her alive!”
Jin Yongyi did not even understand the situation, but her legs had already taken control. She turned and sprinted back the way she came. Unfortunately, the path ahead was as straight as an arrow, a wide road that could fit two cars side-by-side, with nowhere to hide on either side. Running on this road meant she was a sitting duck.
“Do not let her escape! Catch her!!”
“Damn it!” Jin Yongyi cursed. Why was she always either running away or on the way to running away?
A gust of wind came from behind, and the flickering light of torches appeared on the ground. Her throat tightened, and just as a scream was about to burst from her lips, a powerful force grabbed her arm and yanked her to the right.
She was plunged into darkness. A few steps away on the main road, the men in black ran past in a swarm, seemingly completely unaware of where she had gone.
Jin Yongyi clutched her chest and let out a breath of relief. She did not have long to relax. In the next moment, the man’s voice, full of amusement, rang out in the quiet space, making her hair stand on end.
“Jin Yongyi, is this your so-called business?”
This guy is like a ghost that will not go away!
Jin Yongyi did not dare to breathe. She shifted her feet backward slightly, trying to slip away without him noticing.
“You can go out if you want. But, do you know what they want to do to you?”
He seemed to be walking closer, yet there were no footsteps. Jin Yongyi only felt a creeping chill seeping into her skin. A heavy breath brushed against her neck, slowly climbing toward her earlobe.
“They want to claim you for themselves, just like me.”
The phrase “a wolf in front and a tiger behind” became a reality at this moment. Jin Yongyi tried her best to retreat, but she was afraid his threat was true and did not dare leave the darkness. It was not until her back hit a decorative rock wall that she stood there, trembling against the stone.
The man in front of her was clearly not satisfied with just a little intimidation. Her hands were pinned together, and the soft whip had become a tool to deal with her, winding around her wrists again and again. It was only when he raised her hands above her head and pressed his body against her that she felt a strong sense of danger.
Moist, hot kisses traveled from the tip of her ear to just below her earlobe. Jin Yongyi’s legs turned to jelly, and she leaned into his chest, her strength gone. Even her voice of resistance became sticky and blurred.
“Do you think I am like that waste Pang Nan?” He spoke into the crook of her neck. His mere breath was a weapon against her life. Seeing her tremble even more only made him let out an excited laugh. “I am a demon, a great demon that eats people.”
As those words fell, a tingly, numbing pain spread from her earlobe through her entire body. If he had not been holding her up, Jin Yongyi would have collapsed. A thousand words converged into a single curse.
Jin Yongyi wanted to cry. Her mind had been entirely on her job. She had thought that by getting rid of this villain, she could help the trapped girls and then go find Zhao Fuzhou. She had completely forgotten that Huan Nu was a demon, and those whom demons serve are never ordinary people. But she was the most impressive lackey of the male lead! How could she lose to a nameless NPC?!
Jin Yongyi used all her strength to struggle and pull away slightly, saying in a soft voice: “Master, it is pitch black here. I am afraid.”
She had planned to buy herself some time. Once the male lead arrived, she would repay this debt of being harassed a thousand times over. To her surprise, the moment she finished speaking, the surroundings suddenly brightened, and her vision cleared.
Her waist was pulled firmly into his embrace. His laughter was bold and full of clear ill-intent: “Jin Yongyi, I thought you liked excitement.”
She felt like spitting out a mouthful of blood. Listening to the man’s panting in her ear, Jin Yongyi thought she could remain as steady as an old dog. Although her body had turned to jelly, she could at least tell her heart: He is just a small fry. He is nowhere near as good as the male lead. I can look at the male lead’s body without a blush or a racing heart. Unless the person in front of me is the male lead, he cannot seduce me. Hmph, men.
But, why are you panting so sexily?!
Jin Yongyi kept taking deep breaths, even trying to hold her breath to clear her mind. The guy seemed to know exactly what was going on in her head. Not only did he keep touching her ears, but his fingers also slipped between hers, scratching lightly.
Just then, a coughing sound rang in her head. This was the first time Jin Yongyi felt grateful for the system’s arrival. Any longer and she really would not have been able to hold out.
System: [Ta-da! Host, I am here to give you the reward for the second mission!]
Jin Yongyi leaned against the man’s shoulder without changing her expression, but in her mind, she questioned: “Are you glitching? I have not even finished the third mission yet. Why are you giving me the bonus from the last one?”
A slot machine suddenly jumped onto the grass in front of her. Her heart skipped a beat, and fearing the Hall Master would see it, she lunged into his arms. In his eyes, this move looked like she was throwing herself at him. He suddenly stopped panting, let out a cold laugh, and turned to playing with her hair.
The patterns on the slot machine began to spin on their own. Every time a pattern locked in, Jin Yongyi’s heart skipped a beat. Her hand brushed against the man’s back; while she comforted him, she also tried to negotiate with the stupid system: “The priority right now is not rewards! Look at my situation! You should be airdropping the male lead here! There is a demon!”
The system was silent for a moment, then stammered: [Um, mainly, well, but he, Sorry, Host, I am powerless in this matter.]
Jin Yongyi: “??”
What use do I have for you?!
By now, the slot machine had landed on three different patterns. The system quickly dropped a line: [I have something to do and am going offline now. Do your missions well and there will be plenty of rewards!] and vanished. The slot machine turned into smoke and slowly gathered into a giant wardrobe in the air.
Jin Yongyi stared with her mouth wide open. Under her shocked gaze, the wardrobe doors opened on their own. A blinding light shone from within, and countless outfits floated out, unfolding in the air. As she watched the clothes drift past, her jaw nearly hit the ground. She could not believe what she was seeing. Who the hell is supposed to wear this?!
Either the fabric was pitifully sparse or the parts that should be covered were see-through. Where else could you see such things besides an adult store?
System, are you a decent system?!
As Jin Yongyi’s confusion deepened, the outfit closest to her floated over. Jin Yongyi backed away in a panic, shouting at the top of her lungs: “Do not come over here!!”
Ever since she had proactively lunged into the Hall Master’s arms, his interest had waned a bit, and his grip was not as tight. She broke free easily. Faced with her sudden terror, the Hall Master stared at her, confused.
Jin Yongyi leaned haphazardly against the rock wall. Her heart stopped, her eyes were glazed, and her breathing was shallow. This was because she saw that nearly transparent outfit attaching itself to the Hall Master. The gauzy fabric was like holding a lute and half-hiding the face; it was more impactful than being completely visible.
She had to admit, his physique was actually on par with Zhao Fuzhou’s. They were both just as pink.
Jin Yongyi felt a warmth at the tip of her nose.
