Deliberate Possession [Entertainment Industry] - Chapter 99
Chapter 99: Too Much
“You pervert! Go to sleep now!” Jiang Yumian poked the camera with two fingers, then said fiercely, “Be careful, I’ll poke your eyes out. Why do you want to see everything?”
The thick-skinned Jing Xiaoyan leaned against the headboard, casually flipping her hair, and said nonchalantly, “I remember you’re supposed to listen to everything I say during this period.”
This was the compensation she had promised before.
Jiang Yumian twitched her lips, rolled her eyes at the person on the screen, but still silently put the collar on.
She perfunctorily shook the chain twice. Hearing the bell ring twice, she said directly, “There, satisfied. You should go to sleep now.”
With that, she reached out and hung up the video call before Jing Xiaoyan could say anything.
Finally, unable to see Jing Xiaoyan’s face, Jiang Yumian no longer had to pretend nothing was wrong. She cupped her face and let out a breath. Jing Xiaoyan was really shameless.
Her phone quickly chimed. Jiang Yumian looked at the screen.
Jiejie: “I can’t sleep even more now. It’s all your fault. You need to find a way to coax me to sleep.”
Before Jiang Yumian could finish typing her protest, another call came through quickly, but this time it wasn’t a video call.
Her tense heart relaxed slightly. She didn’t keep Jing Xiaoyan waiting for long and immediately answered.
Jing Xiaoyan blurted out, “Wife.”
Jiang Yumian’s lips instantly curled up, but she quickly suppressed it herself. She had to be reserved. She cleared her throat, her tone serious. “You need to go to sleep.”
Jing Xiaoyan pulled the blanket, put the phone next to her pillow, turned on the speaker, and lay down again. “I’m lying down, but I still can’t sleep. You coax me.”
Her tone was very demanding, insisting that Jiang Yumian coax her, as if she wouldn’t sleep otherwise.
Jiang Yumian glanced at her computer. Actually, she wasn’t working anymore, just familiarizing herself with tomorrow’s schedule.
She turned off the computer, shook the bell around her neck. “What a coincidence. I have a business trip tomorrow, so I have to get up early. If you can’t sleep, think about how to coax me to sleep. Don’t wait for me to coax you.”
Before Jing Xiaoyan could retort, she lay down on the bed. “I’m lying down too. Have you thought about how to coax me? Are you going to do it yourself?”
Hearing her bold statement, Jing Xiaoyan looked up, staring at the phone, lost in thought. Was this Jiang Yumian?
Before she could regain her senses, the voice from the other end of the phone continued, “Although I can’t help you, I can listen to you do it. That counts as participation.”
After Jiang Yumian finished speaking, she pinched her ear. She was so bold. It was all Jing Xiaoyan’s fault. She was the one who corrupted her. Definitely!
She was just treating her in the same way.
Jing Xiaoyan lifted her head, reached for her phone, hung up the call, and made a video call again.
The other side immediately declined.
Afraid to answer?
Jiejie: “Are you blushing?”
Jiang Yumian pinched her face, reached out and turned off the room light. Only then did she reply. [Why would I be blushing? Is Older Sister too scared?]
Jiejie: “Answer the call.”
The chat window quickly closed. The camera was aimed at her face again. Jiang Yumian bit her lip and quickly answered.
Jing Xiaoyan slightly raised an eyebrow. It was pitch black on the opposite side. Other than the face dimly lit by the phone screen, she couldn’t see anything else. And even the face was just a vague outline.
She smiled and said directly, “Why did you turn off the light? Do you know you can’t be seen?”
Jiang Yumian bit her lip and tugged the bell around her neck as a sign of protest.
“Are you going to do it or not? If not, I’m hanging up.”
Jing Xiaoyan lightly scoffed.
“Doing it. Give me two minutes.”
Jiang Yumian was stunned. Her mind went blank for a moment. She agreed so easily?
Soon, the person in front of the screen disappeared. Jing Xiaoyan flipped the phone over, placing it face down on the bed. The camera went black.
Jiang Yumian sat up, startled.
She! She was really going to do it?
She heard a rustling sound from that side for a few minutes, then it stopped. Jiang Yumian’s throat rolled. She tentatively called out, “Older Sister?”
Jing Xiaoyan held her tablet, glanced at the phone she had placed face down, and replied with a faint “Mhm,” then quickly added, “Don’t talk. Just listen, or I’m hanging up.”
Jiang Yumian immediately shut her mouth, pricking up her ears to listen to the sounds from the other side. After a two-second hesitation, she found the volume button on her phone and turned the volume to the maximum.
Soon after, she heard soft panting. Jiang Yumian’s heart leaped. She widened her eyes, covering her mouth, listening intently, shocked internally.
The sound from the other side got louder and louder. Her ears got redder and redder. This was Jing Xiaoyan!
Jiang Yumian didn’t dare to loosen her grip on her face, even though it hurt a lot. Jing Xiaoyan really did it. She was panting harder than when they did it together.
She was terrified. How could she possibly sleep now?
Jing Xiaoyan sat upright on the bed, biting her finger, holding back her laughter. Jiang Yumian, this fool, hadn’t even called her yet. She still hadn’t noticed anything was wrong.
She wondered what her expression was.
She looked down at the screen on the tablet, pinched her ear. Hmm… a little stimulating. This was sent to her by Chu Qianyuan yesterday. She had only watched it once.
Jiang Yumian covered her face with the blanket. She was going to die. She was going to die. Why was the panting so intense?
Her toes were curled up. It was so stimulating. Why was Jing Xiaoyan like this!
Soon, she heard a different kind of shout. Jiang Yumian’s eyes widened. She looked at her phone in disbelief. No way. Was her girlfriend doing it that intensely by herself?
But why did the voice sound strange? It didn’t sound quite like her.
Before she could think about it, the sound from the other side stopped abruptly.
Jing Xiaoyan quickly hit pause. She hadn’t watched this far yesterday. The sudden shout startled her. She was about to be exposed.
Thinking that stopping abruptly like this wasn’t right either, she quickly rewound to the beginning, only letting Jiang Yumian hear the panting, which she turned off after a few seconds.
Jiang Yumian’s entire face was flushed and burning. When the sound stopped, she quickly covered her face. Help.
After a long silence, Jiang Yumian bit her tongue and quietly asked, “Are you… okay?”
Jing Xiaoyan covered her mouth, her shoulders shaking with laughter. The suppressed laughter made her stomach hurt, and tears welled up in her eyes. She quickly grabbed her phone, covered the camera, and hung up the call.
She sat on the bed and laughed wildly for a while. Only then did she pick up her phone again. The opposite side had already sent two messages.
Sponge has a baby: “Older Sister?”
Sponge has a baby: “Are you alright?”
Jing Xiaoyan couldn’t suppress the smile on her face. She quickly replied to her.
Sister: “A little tired.”
Sister: “Are you satisfied now? Can you go to sleep?”
Jiang Yumian covered her face. What was going on?
Sponge has a baby: “Mhm…”
Jing Xiaoyan was amused, but she still rolled her eyes at the screen. She couldn’t even recognize her own wife’s panting. ‘Mhm’ my foot.
Jiang Yumian was too preoccupied to distinguish anything. Her heart was pounding. It was her first time on such a call. She was scared out of her mind.
Sister: “Since I put in such an effort, it’s your turn to coax me tomorrow, right?”
Sister: “I want it too.jpg”
Jing Xiaoyan started laughing again after sending the message. She didn’t think Jiang Yumian would refuse.
Jiang Yumian clutched her hair. She really had no reason to refuse. She held her phone, typing miserably.
Sponge has a baby: “Coax…”
How was she supposed to know Jing Xiaoyan was serious about playing along…
Jing Xiaoyan’s face was getting stiff from smiling. She rubbed her face and quickly replied. “Go to sleep now.”
Jiang Yumian replied with a good night, then lay flat, staring at the ceiling. She quickly felt ashamed again and pulled the blanket over her face.
Jing Xiaoyan really loved her. She did it just because she asked.
It was just a little perverted.
Oh my god…
The next day.
Jiang Yumian boarded the high-speed rail groggily. She hadn’t slept well.
After listening to the call last night, she unfortunately had a wet dream. Jing Xiaoyan stayed in her mind all night.
It was too much.
She wasn’t in good spirits. She replied to a few messages from Jing Xiaoyan and didn’t dare to continue chatting. She wanted to ask her if she slept well last night, but she didn’t dare to ask.
She didn’t dare to tell Jing Xiaoyan she had a dream. That would make her seem so unreserved.
How embarrassing.
Her aunt cleared her throat, asking knowingly, “Mianmian, didn’t you sleep well?”
Jiang Yumian was startled and nodded.
Her aunt quietly mumbled, “Xiaoyan has only been gone for one day, and you’re already sleepless. You’re quite clingy.”
Jiang Yumian awkwardly twisted her neck. She really couldn’t refute it. She didn’t sleep well because of Jing Xiaoyan.
She cleared her throat. “Auntie, you look very energetic today, huh?”
Her aunt raised an eyebrow. “Of course. Who do you think everyone is like?”
Jiang Yumian also raised an eyebrow. “Then tell me, what exactly happened between you and Sister An?”
Her eyes were shining as she stared at her aunt. The train had already started moving. Her aunt couldn’t run away even if she wanted to.
Her aunt blinked, then quickly looked away. “Grown-up business is none of your concern.”
Jiang Yumian pouted. “If you don’t tell me, I won’t. When Sister An asks me where you are, I’ll just tell her the truth. You grown-ups solve your own problems.”
Her aunt quickly turned to look at her, reaching out and pinching Jiang Yumian’s ear. It hurt, and Jiang Yumian cried out in pain.
Her aunt quickly let go of her and said irritably, “Actually, it’s nothing. When she was in college, I visited her school for a public welfare investment, and that’s how we met. That’s all.”
It was that simple. Jiang Yumian definitely didn’t believe it. “Oh. That’s enough to make Sister An think of you for so long?”
Her aunt’s face wrinkled. “I was just too nice to her. It made her misunderstand…”
Jiang Yumian’s brow relaxed. She understood. “Were you only nice to her?”
Her aunt twitched her lips, not refuting it. “Yes. That’s why she misunderstood. I just thought she was pretty and very well-behaved. I couldn’t bear to see her bullied.”
Jiang Yumian looked at her aunt with a forced smile. “Auntie, I don’t know what to say to you. Do you really not like my Sister An? Sister An is still single.”
Her aunt’s face fell. “Your Sister An? I’m your real aunt.”
“Don’t change the subject. Do you like Sister An or not? If you don’t like her, why are you avoiding her?” Jiang Yumian directly blocked her aunt’s next words.
Her aunt’s expression froze. She looked at Jiang Yumian hesitantly for a few seconds, then answered seriously, “I just don’t like her.”
“Even if I did like her before, it’s been over ten years. No matter how much I liked her, it should have faded by now. So, don’t hold out any hope for her. I really don’t like her.”
Listening to her aunt’s reasonable words and seeing her serious demeanor, Jiang Yumian’s heart sank. It seemed it really wasn’t possible.
She was a little unwilling. “But Sister An still remembers you…”
Her aunt pursed her lips. “Love might not last this long, but hatred will probably deepen. Look at her aggressive manner. I feel like she wants to rush over and kill me.”
Jiang Yumian was silent for a few seconds. Remembering Sister An’s gnashing of teeth before, it seemed somewhat true.
But, alas…
Jiang Yumian rubbed her nose. She quickly compared it to herself and Jing Xiaoyan. If she had been abroad for so long and only just returned, Jing Xiaoyan would probably have rushed over and killed her already.
She quickly waved her hand again. Jing Xiaoyan said it was impossible. They wouldn’t be separated for so long, and there wouldn’t be any misunderstandings. Hehe.
“Sister An isn’t very capable…”
Hearing her mutter to herself, her aunt’s mouth twitched. She didn’t know what she was thinking about.
By the time they reached their destination, it was already afternoon. Jiang Yumian had been here once before, the place where they filmed the variety show.
Jing Xiaoyan called her when she was done with work, and it was already almost evening. She had just returned to the town from the village and was at a restaurant in the town.
She looked at her colleagues next to her, walked away a bit, and sat down at an empty table. She quietly called out, “Older Sister.”
Jing Xiaoyan smiled, her voice filled with strong amusement. “I’m almost done shooting here. I can go home tomorrow. Have you eaten?”
“I’m about to eat.” Jiang Yumian lowered her head, nervously picking at her hand. She hadn’t dared to call Jing Xiaoyan all day, only texting. Mainly because hearing her voice made her blush.
She cleared her throat. “Are you, are you tired today?”
Jing Xiaoyan’s eyes held a smile, looking sly. “A little tired, but it will be over after tonight’s shoot.”
Jiang Yumian bit her lip. “Then, then you, rest well.”
Jing Xiaoyan’s soft chuckle came through the earpiece. Jiang Yumian’s heart trembled, and her ears quickly turned red.
Sure enough, the reply was exactly as she expected.
“Mhm~” Deliberately dragging out the ambiguous tail sound, Jing Xiaoyan waited a few seconds before speaking again. “I’ll call you after I finish shooting tonight.”
Jiang Yumian bit her tongue, nervously fiddling with the table, stifling her voice so much that she didn’t make a sound.
Jing Xiaoyan waited a few seconds, deliberately urging her to reply. “Mhm?”
Jiang Yumian’s breathing hitched. She quietly said, “Mhm… I know.”
Her aunt, who walked past, caught sight of her flushed face. She paused and couldn’t help but ask, “It’s time to eat. What are you listening to? Your face is so red?”
Jiang Yumian: !
She bit her lip and covered her face.
Jing Xiaoyan laughed out loud, unashamed. “Go eat quickly. I’ll call you tonight. Remember to answer the phone.”
Hearing her repeat the warning, half of Jiang Yumian’s heart turned cold.
It was too much.
