- Chasing My Husband! The "Crown Prince" of the Beijing Circle Is Wildly Unruly!
- Chapter 83 - I Was Planning to Let You Off Tonight
Rumble—
The rain poured down in torrents.
Back at the manor, Wang Xinghe carefully treated the wounds on Lu Jingze’s face. Lu Jingze’s eyes were still rimmed with red, and ever since they returned, he followed Xinghe wherever he went—like a needy kitten.
Finally, when Lu Jingze even tried to follow him into the bathroom, Xinghe couldn’t help but turn around. He said, somewhat helplessly, “A-Ze, I need to use the toilet.”
Lu Jingze pursed his lips and leaned against the doorframe. “I can help you with your trousers, Brother.”
Xinghe was moved to laughter by his sheer audacity. “You think I need help with that? Hmm?”
Not only did Lu Jingze stay, but he also stepped forward and leaned his weight against Xinghe’s back. “I can also help you… hold it.”
Xinghe was nearly driven mad by him. He turned around and pushed the man out. “Reflect on yourself for two minutes at the door.”
Click— Xinghe deadbolted the bathroom door.
After finishing and washing his hands, he opened the door only to find Lu Jingze waiting to cling to him again. Since Lu was taller and more muscular than Xinghe, his full weight pressing down made it hard for Xinghe to even stand straight.
“A-Ze, why don’t you take a bath? I’ll tell you a bedtime story?” Xinghe wasn’t quite sure how to comfort him. He remembered that when he was sad as a child, he loved listening to his mother tell stories; as an adult, he switched to audiobooks. Closing his eyes and listening to a narrator helped him escape his sorrows.
But Lu Jingze only heard the word “bath.”
His eyes lit up, and he pulled Xinghe directly into the bathroom with him. He immediately reached out to strip Xinghe of his clothes.
Xinghe pressed against his firm chest. “A-Ze, I meant you should wash up, not me.”
“You’ll have to wash anyway sooner or later, might as well do it together~” Lu Jingze made quick work of undressing Xinghe.
The pale, slender body, the lean abdominal muscles, the narrow waist, and the lingering red marks from their previous night… they all made Lu Jingze’s heart hammer against his ribs.
Lu Jingze quickly undressed himself as well. In the mirror, he was visibly broader than Xinghe, his muscle groups firm and defined. Unlike Xinghe’s smooth, lean build, his abs were prominent, with veins tracing a path down toward his navel.
Xinghe looked at the suddenly naked Lu Jingze and averted his gaze, the tips of his ears turning crimson. “You really do take off your clothes at the slightest provocation.”
Lu Jingze reached out, his hand gently tilting Xinghe’s soft, clean chin up. His thumb lightly brushed over Xinghe’s moist, peach-like lips. His gaze became incredibly dark and profound.
Xinghe was shy, his eyes darting away, but Lu Jingze watched him with a tender smile. He lowered his head, nuzzling Xinghe’s cheek. The cool touch against his skin made Xinghe’s breathing turn shallow and erratic. He cautiously lifted his eyes, only to collide with those phoenix eyes overflowing with deep affection.
This time, Xinghe didn’t look away.
Lu Jingze’s lips curled into a smirk. He leaned down, hooked his finger under Xinghe’s chin, and gave him a light kiss. “Alright. Now, ‘Master Lu’ is here to serve you~”
With that, Lu Jingze turned on the water and meticulously helped Xinghe bathe. Afterward, he even thoughtfully blow-dried Xinghe’s hair. Xinghe’s hair was fine and soft; once dried, it became fluffy and “moe.” Looking at that fuzzy head of hair, the smile in Lu Jingze’s eyes deepened.
He nudged Xinghe out of the bathroom and said with a grin, “I’m going to wash now. Go wait for me on the bed, Brother.”
Xinghe lay down in the soft, comfortable silk bedding of dark gray Su-embroidery. Because it was summer, the quilt was thin. The central air conditioning and fresh air system kept the manor’s temperature and humidity at a perfect level.
The bath had made Xinghe a bit drowsy. Just as he was about to close his eyes, a bolt of thunder crashed outside. He snapped awake, staring at the raindrops lashing against the window and the storm raging in the night.
He hadn’t expected to get to this point with Lu Jingze. They had met the elders and solidified their bond. They were to spend their lives together.
The left side of the bed dipped slightly as Lu Jingze, fresh from his shower, climbed in. Xinghe turned his head, propping himself up on one arm, and asked seriously, “What do you want to hear?”
Lu Jingze thought for a moment, his brow arching. “How about you say something that will make me blush?”
Xinghe’s eyes widened, and his face instantly flushed. “Lu Jingze!”
With how thick-skinned Lu Jingze was, nothing Xinghe said would ever make him blush!
Seeing the crimson bloom on Xinghe’s fair face, Lu Jingze’s smile grew wider. He decided to tease him further to lift the mood. He pulled Xinghe into his arms and whispered into his ear, “Let me guess what you were just thinking about.”
“Hmm…” Lu Jingze hummed playfully. “Were you thinking about how my abs feel under your touch? Or about how good it feels when I pin you down? Or maybe about how you tremble when my lips touch every inch of your body…”
Xinghe felt like he was about to bleed from the sheer heat in his face. He flipped over and covered Lu Jingze’s mouth with his hand. “Stop it…”
Xinghe bit his lip, his heart racing. “How can you say those things so easily… Aren’t you… aren’t you ashamed?”
Lu Jingze lightly licked the palm of Xinghe’s hand. Xinghe pulled it away as if he’d been electrocuted. “Again with that!”
“Why be ashamed? If I were shy, how would I have ever caught you, Brother?” Lu Jingze reached out, his fingers lightly stroking Xinghe’s already red earlobe.
“Brother, I was planning to let you off tonight…” Lu Jingze’s eyes were stained with a deep, struggling restraint.
Xinghe swallowed hard, sensing the “danger” in the air. He quickly pressed down on Lu’s hand. “Then let’s just sleep. I’ll tell you a story.”
Lu Jingze rolled over, pinning Xinghe beneath him. He reached out to gently brush Xinghe’s soft hair. “But your expression right now is far too tempting.”
“It’s like you’re saying: ‘A-Ze, come here…'”
“It’s like you’re saying: ‘A-Ze, I want you…'”
“Tell me, Brother… I’m still young. How am I supposed to resist your seduction?”
At those words, Xinghe felt like he was burning alive. He didn’t even need to look to know his face was a deep scarlet. “I’m not… I’m just thin-skinned…” he tried to argue. When had he ever tried to seduce anyone?
“Mhm… it is a bit thin. I haven’t even done anything yet, just said a few words, and you’re already this red. What if I… did something? Would you turn completely translucent? Hmm?” Lu Jingze looked down at him with a wicked grin.
Pinned in Lu Jingze’s embrace and with his face burning, Xinghe reached out to push against his chest. But Lu Jingze leaned in to kiss his earlobe.
Xinghe’s tense body began to shiver. A soft moan escaped him. Slowly, the strength drained out of his limbs.
Lu Jingze leaned in further, whispering filth into his ear. His kisses moved from the earlobe down the long, fair neck to the delicate bone at the nape. “You’re so sensitive, Brother… and I haven’t even started yet…”
Melted by the dirty talk and the deliberate provocation, Xinghe’s lips parted slightly. He whispered in a small, shaky voice:
“Then… then why haven’t you started yet…”
