After the livestream ended, the production team began recording the individual interviews. They started with the guests in the living room.

Liu Xiuxiu was the first to go. The location for the initial interview was set on a spacious open-air balcony. The production team had set up a scenic backdrop featuring a sofa, a small round table, and pillows adorned with the sponsors’ logos alongside product samples.

“For this first interview, please introduce yourself.”

“Hello, everyone! My name is Liu Xiuxiu. I am 21 years old and a newcomer who debuted through a survival show. I am very happy to participate in ‘100 Days of Love Contract.'”

“What was your original motivation for joining the show?”

“I wanted to find a partner,” Liu Xiuxiu said with a cute smile. “Actually, there are two reasons. First, my agent said participating would bring me more popularity. Second, my idol is also here.”

The staff member gave an awkward laugh, but fortunately, she had done her homework and knew about He Xingzhi’s temper. She quickly followed up with the second question. “What was your original motivation for joining the show?”

“I came because I wanted to. Why does there have to be a reason for everything?” He Xingzhi countered.

“Hahaha, Teacher He Xingzhi is truly humorous.” The staff member laughed awkwardly, fearing He Xingzhi would lose his patience and walk out. She skipped directly to the final question. “So, final question: Which guest do you have the best impression of today?”

He Xingzhi sneered and said, “I do not have a best impression of anyone, but I certainly have a worst impression of one person.”

“Would you mind revealing the name?” The staff member assumed he would not say it but asked anyway to create a topic for discussion.

“Shi Yu,” He Xingzhi spat out coldly.

“Hello, everyone. My name is Shi Yu, and I am 26 years old.” Shi Yu was very cooperative with the staff, though every sentence was brief.

“Brother Shi, why did you decide to participate in this show?”

“Because my agent said that if I did not come, he would run naked along the 228 bus route,” Shi Yu said.

“Hahaha, Teacher Shi Yu is so funny.” The staff member paused, quickly reacting as if it were a deadpan joke.

“I am telling the truth,” Shi Yu added.

“Your agent was surely joking, right?” The staff member swallowed nervously.

Far away, Lin Wuwei, who was still keeping watch at the hospital, sneezed several times in a row.

“I am joking. Actually, it is because my contract is about to expire. I agreed to this once before I leave as a way to thank him for taking care of me these past few years,” Shi Yu said calmly.

His face was so beautiful that people often forgot to look away. While interviewing him, the staff member had to pinch herself occasionally to stay focused. The power of such a close range visual attack was simply too great.

“Then the final question…”

Just as the staff member was about to ask the same question as before, the director’s voice came through her earpiece: “Change the question. Ask him if tonight’s dinner was delicious.”

The staff member reacted quickly, and despite feeling like she might have misheard, she asked, “Was the dinner delicious tonight?”

Shi Yu replied, “It was delicious. I ate two bowls of rice. Teacher He Xingzhi is a very good cook. I want to thank him for letting me enjoy my first dinner here.”

The production observation room became lively again. Experts wondered why Teacher Shi Yu held no resentment toward He Xingzhi despite their awkwardness on the plane. They noted that Shi Yu truly seemed to enjoy the meal. Some pointed out the contradiction in He Xingzhi claiming he does not eat spicy food when it is actually Shi Yu who cannot handle it. This led to speculation that He Xingzhi was not being hateful, but was instead blatantly pining for him.

After the individual interviews were completed, the recording for the day drew to a close. Shi Yu had been out and had eaten, so he felt he had to take another shower before going to bed. Otherwise, he would not be able to sleep.

He Xingzhi had already anticipated that he would come over and was waiting for him. Shi Yu knocked on the door. For the first few knocks, He Xingzhi pretended not to notice. Shi Yu knocked twice more, but He Xingzhi still intentionally refrained from opening the door.

Shi Yu did not knock a third time.

After waiting for a few seconds, He Xingzhi panicked. He quickly opened the door to find Shi Yu with his hand raised, just about to knock again.

“You…” Whose room were you going to shower in this time?
