Bullying the Little Beauty [Quick Transmigration] - Chapter 22
Chapter 22
Recalling the scene of being choked just moments ago, Ning Ruan lay in his little nest, terrified like a reactive cat fur bristling, back arched.
Ning Ruan didn’t know if the man had left. But he could no longer fall asleep.
A sticky, wet liquid clung to his cheek, a scent of blood mingled with an unknown, exotic fragrance. Ning Ruan didn’t dare wipe it off; his intuition told him it was the man’s blood.
The man had told Ning Ruan to wait for him every night. He also said they had plenty of time to “try things out” slowly.
Chu Yuan pressed his throbbing head, frowning slightly as he tried to remember how he had fallen asleep last night, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t recall.
Realizing something was wrong, Chu Yuan’s eyes suddenly turned cold. He instinctively looked for Ning Ruan.
In the small nest, Ning Ruan was curled up inside a small blanket, forming a cute little lump. Seeing that Ning Ruan was still there, Chu Yuan felt slightly relieved, his stern expression softening significantly.
When he went to coax Ning Ruan to get up, Ning Ruan suddenly grabbed him, his eyes red and brimming with tears. Why did you just wake up? I was scared to death.
I called you several times, but you you wouldn’t answer me. His soft voice trembled with extreme grievance, a sound so pitiful it made one’s heart ache.
Ning Ruan’s sudden intimacy and dependence startled Chu Yuan.
Ning Ruan had never been this close to him before. Compared to him, Ning Ruan seemed to prefer chatting and laughing with Gu Hui, and even Jiang Qingfeng seemed better at making Ning Ruan happy.
Chu Yuan’s hands stiffened for a moment before he immediately pulled the boy into his arms to comfort him.
The youth hugged him tightly, letting out all his pent-up grievances. Sobbing, he wanted to tell Chu Yuan about the man from last night.
But then he remembered the man’s cold, slender hand squeezing his neck, telling him that he didn’t want anyone else disturbing them at night. The man had forbidden him from speaking.
Ning Ruan instinctively looked around; the room was empty. He timidly pursed his lips, still not daring to directly reveal what happened.
If I don’t say it, but Chu Yuan discovers it himself, that shouldn’t count as me telling, right?
Ning Ruan’s shoulders trembled. His slender, pale arms tightened around Chu Yuan’s neck. Lifting his snowy little face, he asked, Can you see if there’s something dirty on my face?
His almond eyes were drenched with tears, the skin beneath them flushed red. Looking up at someone like that, he appeared incredibly pitiful a kind of helplessness that sparked a dark urge to ravage him.
Exercising extreme restraint, Chu Yuan leaned in to examine Ning Ruan’s impossibly pure face, trying to see if there was indeed any dirt.
The youth sat obediently on his lap. Because Ning Ruan naturally leaned his weight forward, his soft, delicate body pressed against Chu Yuan. The contact against Chu Yuan’s broad shoulders sent a dense, tingling itch through him.
The slightly oversized collar couldn’t hide Ning Ruan’s exquisite, petite collarbones. Chu Yuan’s gaze drifted downward. Ning Ruan’s skin was very white whiter than milk.
Consequently, any pinkish areas on his body became very prominent: pink fingertips, the pinkish area below, the pink tips.
It was like a dash of red dropped onto a snowy peak.
Chu Yuan stared almost entranced, feeling an urge to take that mound of snow into his mouth and let it melt. His Adam’s apple bobbed with suppressed desire.
It seemed a bit swollen. As if it had been rubbed and kneaded by a large, rough hand.
Chu Yuan’s eyes grew deep and obscure. He remembered it wasn’t swollen yesterday.
He hadn’t touched Ning Ruan anywhere else yesterday. Jiang Qingfeng was heavily injured, and Gu Hui didn’t have the guts.
Ning Ruan remained in that position, hooked around Chu Yuan’s neck. Sensing Chu Yuan’s gaze, he didn’t push him away or get angry. Instead, his cheeks flushed under the scrutiny, his eyes shimmering with an alluring mist, piteously hoping Chu Yuan would discover something.
Chu Yuan’s fingers gripped Ning Ruan’s waist. He felt an uncontrollable urge to squeeze tighter, but fearing he would hurt him, he ultimately loosened his grip.
He hadn’t looked closely enough before, but now he saw that the area was so swollen the skin had broken. It shrank back beautifully and pitifully.
Even through the clothes, a light touch made the area tremble from the stimulation.
Possessive obsession flared in Chu Yuan’s eyes, his voice laced with heartache. Does it hurt a lot?
So, last night, that thing had bypassed everyone and bullied Ning Ruan. Ning Ruan must have been terrified, wanting to call for help but unable to wake any of them.
It hurts the bullied little thing whispered piteously. Like a kitten that finally found its owner, he meowed with grievance, wanting to tell him everything.
Chu Yuan: “Where else is uncomfortable?”
Ning Ruan opened his lips to show Chu Yuan. My tongue it was bitten, too.
His moist, red tongue tip poked out softly. It wasn’t actually bitten through, but it was swollen from being sucked. The already red tip looked as though it might bleed at any moment.
You didn’t sleep at all last night?
Ning Ruan nodded aggrievedly, whispering in a thin, soft voice, I was scared. Couldn’t sleep.
Chu Yuan’s gaze darkened. He held Ning Ruan and comforted him for a while.
Surrounded by a heavy, low pressure aura, he dressed Ning Ruan. In a foul mood, he kicked the other two men awake. Get up. Make some food, pack the gear. We’re heading up the mountain.
After a night’s rest, Jiang Qingfeng felt much better. Being kicked awake by Chu Yuan felt a bit strange to him. Clearly, he had slept long enough during the day; when dusk fell and he woke up, he had been planning to wait until everyone was asleep to sneak over and hold Ning Ruan.
Logically, he shouldn’t have just passed out like that.
Combined with yesterday’s events, he still felt things were abnormal the vines suddenly sprouting from the ground, the abrupt torrential rain.
Jiang Qingfeng didn’t know that before he woke up, Chu Yuan had already been holding and comforting Ning Ruan for a long time. His main concern was not to scare Ning Ruan by pointing out these oddities.
While going out to wash up, Jiang Qingfeng picked Ning Ruan up. He held Ning Ruan easily in his arms, speaking in a light tone, Let’s go, Ning Ning. Come wash up and get all fragrant with me.
He spoke in a tone used for coaxing a child. After a few sentences, he couldn’t help but ask Ning Ruan if he had missed him yesterday.
Ning Ruan pushed at Jiang Qingfeng’s face as he leaned in for a rub, but after failing to push him away, he could only keep a cold, snowy face, looking utterly weary as Jiang Qingfeng rubbed against him.
Chu Yuan only glanced at them before looking away. He truly kept his word: he didn’t snap at Ning Ruan or blame him.
Mad dog.
As for jealousy, Chu Yuan dreamed of cutting off Jiang Qingfeng’s junk. But compared to the monster that crept in last night to bully Ning Ruan, he felt safer leaving Ning Ruan with Jiang Qingfeng for now.
Ning Ning, open your mouth.
The kitten obediently opened his mouth, waiting to be taken care of.
Jiang Qingfeng took care of Ning Ruan’s washing first before cleaning himself up.
Being held and rubbed by Jiang Qingfeng made Ning Ruan a bit unhappy. After washing his own face, he began to cause trouble, fluttering around Jiang Qingfeng. Pretending not to pay attention, he splashed water onto Jiang Qingfeng’s clothes.
His round almond eyes couldn’t help but peek to observe Jiang Qingfeng’s reaction, as if making Jiang Qingfeng angry would make him happy.
The corners of Jiang Qingfeng’s mouth curled up.
Ning Ruan was like a mischievous kitten; the more he could annoy you, the more he loved doing it. He even enjoyed maliciously observing your reaction.
As Ning Ruan approached to splash him again, Jiang Qingfeng grabbed him and pulled him into his arms. “Baby, you’re so close to me, and so naughty.
Jiang Qingfeng lifted his eyelashes, a smile like a spring breeze on his lips. There was no sign that this man had been heavily injured and lost so much blood yesterday.
In his azure eyes, there was only Ning Ruan’s stunned expression a look of ‘I clearly run very fast, why did he catch me?
Ning Ruan’s dazed look was simply too cute. He tilted his head slightly in confusion, looking even more like a kitten than before.
Jiang Qingfeng picked him up, wondering aloud, How are you this cute?
He had always thought Ning Ruan was cute and beautiful, but he just didn’t know why every single move the boy made held such a fatal attraction.
Baby, I’ve washed my face clean.
Jiang Qingfeng looked eagerly at Ning Ruan’s impossibly beautiful face, his gaze finally landing on those petal like lips.
Being caught made Ning Ruan a bit unhappy. He gave a soft oh, having no intention of processing Jiang Qingfeng’s hint. In fact, he didn’t quite understand him. What’s so special about washing your face?
He knew how to wash his face too, and he didn’t ask for praise. Jiang Qingfeng was so childish.
After thinking for a moment, Ning Ruan looked up and whispered, You’re so childish.
Despite the failed hint, the gentle smile remained on Jiang Qingfeng’s face. Silly Ning Ning.
Ning Ruan’s round eyes widened. He stared at Jiang Qingfeng like a kitten, his tone disbelieving. I, I don’t praise you, so you call me a dummy?
How shameless can you be?
His long, curled eyelashes trembled unconsciously, like a butterfly flapping its wings light and beautiful.
Jiang Qingfeng pinched Ning Ruan’s earlobe. I’m not asking for praise. I want you to reward me.
I want to kiss you.
