After a tragic death in his past life, Luo Shuheng is reborn. Determined to change his fate, he prepares a plan to “bump into” (a classic “accident” setup) a penniless, parentless scholar.

For some reason, a chill runs down Luo Shuheng’s spine. “I—I don’t need you to marry me anymore!”
The scholar’s smile only grows warmer, but his tone is brooks no argument: “We already agreed on this marriage contract; how can you go back on your word now?”
