Bu Tai led the pursuit as the three of them fled without pause, not daring to stop for even a moment.

They eventually reached a forest, but by then, their strength was spent, and they could barely keep running.

Wu Er, in particular, was already slow due to his age.

“Just go without me. Don’t let me hold you back,” Wu Er waved his hand, urging Xiu Ka and Mi Yue to escape.

Without a word, Mi Yue hoisted Wu Er up and carried him along.

Their pace slowed drastically, and soon the beast servants caught up, surrounding them.

At Bu Tai’s command, the beast servants surged forward.
