Beauty Snake - Chapter 51
Chapter 51: A Sudden Heat Period, and the Unprepared “Yinyin Snake.”
Hearing the voice, Ji Yunfei instantly panicked. She turned her back in a flurry, hiding the hand holding the tickets behind her while plastering an unnatural smile on her face.
“No… it’s nothing.” She answered with what she thought was a calm tone, but how could Xie Yin fail to notice such obvious abnormality?
Xie Yin took three steps in two and reached Ji Yunfei. She draped her left arm around Ji Yunfei’s waist, pulling her close, and leaned into her ear, pressing a soft kiss against the slightly feverish earlobe.
“Xie Yin… you… too close…” Caught off guard by this sudden intimacy, Ji Yunfei became lost and froze in place.
Seeing that Xie Yin seemed about to kiss her again, her heart raced, and she instinctively closed her eyes.
However, the expected kiss didn’t fall. Instead, the hand holding the tickets suddenly felt empty, and Xie Yin’s mischievous chuckle rang in her ear.
“Silly A-Fei…”
“You fell for it.”
“!!!” The warmth on her waist withdrew, and the distance between them widened. Ji Yunfei looked down at her hand and squeezed—grabbing only air.
She looked up at the person in front of her who was flipping the tickets over to inspect them, her expression stiff.
“Let me explain…” She raised her hand halfway, but meeting Xie Yin’s playful gaze, she silently pulled it back and lowered her head.
“I am not letting Chi Chang off for this!”
“Great, now Xie Yin definitely thinks I’m a total pervert with a head full of ‘colorful’ trash…”
“Hot Spring Villa… VIP Couple’s Tickets?” Xie Yin spoke with a smile, punctuating every word as if intentionally trying to fluster Ji Yunfei.
“Is A-Fei taking me…?” As she spoke, Xie Yin held the tickets before Ji Yunfei’s eyes, her finger lightly tracing the suggestive text printed on them.
“A Secluded Hot Spring, A Love Nest for Couples. In private soaking rooms, the mist rises as skin meets skin. Mount Mingyang Hot Spring Villa, the secret realm of love, waiting for you to embark on this passionate and tender encounter together.”
“……”
“I… I…” Ji Yunfei stammered for a long time, but besides the word “I,” she couldn’t say anything else. Her face was now completely red.
Why on earth did the Hot Spring Villa put such text and pictures on their tickets?!
“Look at that silly look on your face… what’s there to be embarrassed about?”
“We are already girl-girlfriends, A-Fei…”
“Isn’t it normal to go to a couple’s hot spring together?”
A hand patted her head. After a soft sigh, a voice as clear as a spring rang out, carrying a hint of helplessness.
“You… don’t think… this is a bit too…”
“Too what?”
“Too… oh, I can’t say it!” Ji Yunfei covered her face, her voice muffled.
“Alright, it’s just a hot spring… don’t think too much…”
“What’s there to be shy about?”
“It’s getting late, shall we rest early?” Xie Yin took Ji Yunfei’s hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze.
Seeing that Xie Yin intended to drop the subject, Ji Yunfei nodded. She let the other woman lead her back to the tent to rest.
Although it was a luxury tent, the space was ultimately limited. Ji Yunfei lay on her back, eyes wide open, feeling zero drowsiness. Even though there was still some distance between them, Xie Yin’s body heat seemed to travel through the air; she could tangibly feel the warmth of the person beside her.
“Can’t sleep?” Sensing something, Xie Yin moved closer. As that hot body pressed against her side, Ji Yunfei found it even harder to sleep.
“Vixen! Vixen!”
“With you this close, I really can’t sleep, hey!”
“Don’t you have any idea why I can’t sleep?”
“Xie Yin… aren’t you a bit too close…?”
“Your body is so hot…”
“Aren’t you warm?”
“We’ve clearly been closer than this before…”
“How come you didn’t say that then?” Xie Yin ignored her protest, instead wrapping her arm firmly around Ji Yunfei’s waist and resting her head on her arm.
“……” Ji Yunfei had no rebuttal, but she grumbled in her heart.
“Before, either you were drunk or I was…”
“Now we’re both sober… is it the same?”
“Fine, I’m tired, let’s sleep.” Finally, Ji Yunfei surrendered. she pulled her arm in and hugged the person in her arms tighter. The body heat was still scorching; she forced her racing heart to calm down and slowly closed her eyes.
The bright moon hung high, and the mountain wind blew, gently rustling the tent. By now, Ji Yunfei had fallen into a deep sleep, her breathing steady and long, oblivious to the world around her.
The black-haired woman in her arms suddenly moved. She cautiously left the warm embrace and propped herself up. Her slender hand brushed against Ji Yunfei’s brown hair, then slid down to rest on those slightly parted lips.
She leaned down, paused, and finally pulled away.
Her face, usually composed, was flushed with an abnormal heat. Restraining her ragged breathing, she quietly left the tent and walked away into the pitch-black night…
“Huff—huff—”
“A-Fei… A-Fei…”
“Mm—ah—”
In a stream in the mountains, a woman with a human torso and a snake’s tail appeared. Her ink-like hair was scattered across the water like a giant spiderweb. The woman’s face was bright red, her eyes misty and dazed. Small whimpers escaped her tightly pressed lips.
Everything pointed to her abnormal state.
The calm water began to ripple because of her arrival. The black-and-yellow patterned snake tail churned beneath the surface, accompanied by intermittent, soft gasps.
Amidst the seemingly peaceful forest, a scene of sensuality was hidden.
“Mmm-nnh…”
After her body arched and fell uncontrollably one last time, the massive snake tail hung limply. The water returned to its initial stillness.
The dry heat within her gradually dissipated. Xie Yin cupped the stream water and splashed it onto her face, barely regaining her senses.
She looked around and saw the area soaked by the stream. Not far away, a row of fish lay scattered—most had been knocked unconscious by the thrashing. However, there were a few “lucky ones” still flapping their tails, struggling in the oxygen-depleted state out of the water.
“……” Xie Yin pinched the bridge of her nose and let out a silent sigh.
As her snake tail broke the surface and swept toward the bank, the “struggling” fish were finally “saved,” wagging their fins as they swam away with the current.
After restoring everything to the way it was before she arrived, Xie Yin let out a sigh of relief and leaned listlessly against the bank.
This heat period came too suddenly; it was truly abnormal… She was also finding it harder and harder to control the manifestation of her snake tail…
Could it be a side effect of that medicine?
Thinking of this, she took her phone from her clothes on the shore and dialed a number.
“Hello, Amo.”
“Do you have time to meet?”
When Ji Yunfei woke up again, the sun was already high. Perhaps because she slept too long, she had a slight headache. She rubbed her dry eyes and instinctively reached out beside her.
The spot next to her was empty. The slightly wrinkled quilt was ice-cold; the person must have been gone for a long time. Realizing this, the sleepiness vanished. she sat up abruptly, changed her clothes, and walked out of the tent.
The moment she stepped out, she smelled a faint fragrance in the air… buttered toast?
Following the scent, she saw that familiar and reassuring figure. Xie Yin was currently facing away from her, focused on flipping toast in a pan with a small spatula.
Ji Yunfei approached. Just as she was about to rest her hand on the other’s shoulder, she heard a light laugh.
“Awake? Perfect timing, let’s eat.”
Xie Yin turned around, holding a plate of nutritionally balanced toast, still steaming from the pan. The faint buttery scent was now rich and swirling around her nose.
No matter how tempting the toast was, Ji Yunfei couldn’t focus on it. The dark circles under Xie Yin’s eyes were too striking to ignore.
“Did you not sleep well last night?” She took the plate from Xie Yin, set it aside, and reached out to cup the other’s face, her eyes full of worry.
“I’m not used to sleeping in the wild… it’s no big deal.”
“Am I not full of energy now?” Xie Yin feigned composure, a light smile on her face.
“I’m sorry…”
“Hmm?”
“I shouldn’t have let you stay in a tent with me…” Ji Yunfei said in a muffled voice, her heart full of regret.
“Silly, what’s there to blame yourself for?”
“I’m not that fragile…” Xie Yin pinched Ji Yunfei’s cheeks and gave them a rub.
“Good morning, you two…”
“How… are you…” Chi Chang yawned, covering her mouth as she drifted out of her tent. Seeing the two outside, she started to greet them, but froze when she saw their posture.
“Ahem… good morning…”
“Join us for a bite?” Both women looked a bit unnatural. Xie Yin was the first to withdraw her hand from Ji Yunfei’s face, picking up another plate of toast to hand to Chi Chang.
Chi Chang wasn’t polite and took the out; she naturally took the plate from Xie Yin and began to taste it in small bites.
“Delicious—delicious—” After a few bites, Chi Chang’s eyes lit up, and she gave Xie Yin a thumbs up.
Seeing this, Ji Yunfei also picked up her plate. Looking at the heart drawn in ketchup on the toast, she smiled and took a bite. The toast was still warm; once in her mouth, the butter flavor exploded. The soft bread paired with a runny fried egg made Ji Yunfei unable to stop.
After finishing the toast, Chi Chang used the excuse of washing the plates to pull Ji Yunfei aside, squinting her eyes playfully: “Tell me secretly… did you two fight for three hundred rounds last night?”
“Xie Yin’s huge dark circles don’t look like the result of a good night’s sleep.”
“What is your head even filled with?” Ji Yunfei slapped Chi Chang’s head in annoyance. Seeing her friend’s exaggerated cry of pain, she couldn’t help but laugh, but then her brow furrowed again.
“She said she’s not used to sleeping in the wild… so she didn’t sleep well all night.”
“So I’m thinking of not staying in the tent for the next few days…”
“To hell with the game rules; nothing is more important than her.”
Seeing Ji Yunfei resting her chin on her hand with a serious expression, Chi Chang clicked her tongue and patted her shoulder hard, sighing: “It’s really different once a blockhead sees the light; all she thinks about is her wife…”
“What wife… it’s not that fast…” Ji Yunfei was shocked by Chi Chang’s bold statement, her face heating up.
“In that case… isn’t it perfect? Go spend the night at the Hot Spring Villa!”
“Great environment, mood, and romance…”
“A rare choice indeed…”
Hearing Chi Chang’s suggestion, Ji Yunfei nodded. She couldn’t be bothered with shyness or embarrassment now; the Hot Spring Villa was indeed an excellent choice.
She turned to look at Xie Yin in the distance, who was propping her head up and yawning, trying her best to stay awake. She muttered:
“We’ll go as soon as we finish packing…”
