Good news: Li Su’s fiancé, Huo Zhenzhou, who had been missing for three months, has finally returned.
Bad news: He came back with another woman.
Worse news: They’re already married.
Huo Zhenzhou looked her in the eye and said coldly,
“Sorry, I lost my memory. I don’t remember ever having a fiancée. I’m married now. Please forget about me.”
Heartbroken, Li Su drowned her sorrows in a bar that very night.
Just as she was falling apart, a face that looked exactly like her ex-fiancé appeared in front of her.
“You’re drunk. Let me take you home,” he said.
Tears streamed down Li Su’s cheeks.
Huo Xuanye, Zhenzhou’s younger brother, couldn’t stand seeing a beautiful woman cry. He snapped:
“Why are you crying? You like his face, right? I’m his brother. We look the same. Let’s get married. I’ll be your stand-in. I’ll give you that face every single day!”
That same night, they got married in a flash.
But later, Huo Zhenzhou regains his memory and completely loses his mind.
In the middle of the night, he bangs on their door.
“Su Su, I was wrong! Please… divorce him. You’re my fiancée. I’m the one you love! He took advantage of you. He’s not a good man!”
Huo Xuanye opens the door, lips flushed red, bathrobe loose, revealing kiss marks all over. He smirks devilishly:
“Bro, my wife’s a clean freak. She doesn’t do second-hand men. Give it up. She doesn’t want you. Not now, not ever.”
Slamming the door in his brother’s face, he returns to the bedroom, buries his face in Li Su’s neck, and whispers with a rare vulnerability:
“Wife… you won’t divorce me and go back to him, right?”
