After Transmigrating into a Scummy Alpha, I Became a Tool Person - Chapter 34
After kissing her, Xie Yinian drew back, a bright smile lighting up her face as she gazed at Xia Qiqi, whose cheeks were flushed as red as a tomato.
At that moment, Xia Qiqi was sitting on Xie Yinian’s lap, her clothes half open. She fumbled to fasten her buttons, half embarrassed and half angry.
“You could’ve been a little gentler,” she muttered. “That hurt.”
Just recalling the way Xie Yinian had pounced on her like a starving wolf made Xia Qiqi’s face burn hotter.
“I’ll rub it for you then?”
“Get lost.”
Xie Yinian chuckled softly, about to tease her again when suddenly a loud growl came from her stomach.
Xia Qiqi: “…”
Looking a little sheepish, Xie Yinian rubbed her nose. “Guess I’m hungry.”
Xia Qiqi climbed off her lap, tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, and said awkwardly, “There are dumplings in the fridge. You can boil some.”
“Okay.” Xie Yinian nodded obediently.
“Then I’ll be outside,” Xia Qiqi said, turning to close the door behind her.
After she left, Xie Yinian bent down to pick up the suppressant vial from the floor. The memory of what had just happened flashed before her eyes, and she couldn’t help but grin foolishly.
Xia Qiqi had agreed to be her girlfriend. Was this real life?
Her phone suddenly rang. Xia Qiqi picked it up while holding a book in her other hand.
“Hello, who’s this?” she asked.
“Miss Xia?” came a warm male voice through the line.
“This is she. And you are?” Xia Qiqi asked in confusion.
“I’m Lin Chen. Miss Xia, are you free today? I’d like to take you out for a meal.”
“Sorry, I’m not available,” Xia Qiqi replied coolly.
“I see. No problem, then. I won’t bother you further. Goodbye.”
As Xie Yinian came out of the kitchen holding a bag of dumplings, she asked casually, “Who was that?”
“Just a spam call,” Xia Qiqi said lightly.
“Oh, then don’t mind it.” Xie Yinian held up the dumplings and smiled. “Do you want some too?”
Xia Qiqi lifted her eyes and nodded. “Yes.”
Grinning, Xie Yinian bent down to plant a quick kiss on her lips. “Then be good and wait while I cook for you.”
Xia Qiqi’s face turned crimson, and she turned away in embarrassment.
Laughing under her breath, Xie Yinian headed to the kitchen to make the dumplings.
Meanwhile.
Mr. Xia listened to his assistant’s report, frowning in confusion. “You’re sure Lin Chen hasn’t contacted Qiqi recently?”
The assistant nodded. “I’m certain. They haven’t met at all.”
“That doesn’t make sense. I even gave him Qiqi’s phone number.”
“Could it be that Miss Xia is ignoring him?” the assistant suggested.
Mr. Xia was silent for a moment, then waved his hand for the man to leave.
He stood by the window, gazing at the skyline outside the floor-to-ceiling glass, lost in thought.
A crisp sound of heels clicked outside the office door, and Mrs. Xia appeared, dressed elegantly in a cheongsam.
Mr. Xia turned around, frowning. “Why are you here?”
“Can’t I come see my own husband?” she said lightly, seating herself on the sofa opposite him.
Mr. Xia sat down as well. “How are things going?”
“Relax,” Mrs. Xia said with a confident smile. “I’ve already arranged for Young Master Lin and Qiqi to meet at her birthday banquet. He even said he’d prepare a grand gift for her. This time, I’m sure we can bring the two of them together.”
Mr. Xia nodded, but after a pause, he added, “You know, today is your sister’s death anniversary.”
“Don’t mention her!” Mrs. Xia’s expression darkened, a flash of disgust crossing her face. “I’ve already sent someone to take care of it. You don’t need to concern yourself.”
Mr. Xia frowned. “After all these years, you still hate her that much?”
“Yes!” Mrs. Xia snapped, her tone trembling with resentment. “I’ll never forgive her!” The events of that year were still carved into her memory—something she could never let go of.
Mr. Xia took a long drag from his cigarette, his brows knitted tightly as he looked out the window. Let that matter stay buried between us forever, he thought. No one else must ever know.
After finishing their dumplings, Xie Yinian and Xia Qiqi sat together on the sofa watching TV. But Xie Yinian kept leaning over to steal kisses every now and then.
At first, it was just a peck on the cheek or a brush against the ear. But soon, her actions grew bolder.
“Are you even watching anymore?” Xia Qiqi scolded, glaring up at her in embarrassment.
Xie Yinian shook her head. “I don’t want to watch TV…” She leaned close, her voice soft and low beside Xia Qiqi’s ear. “I just want to look at you.”
And with that, she kissed her again.
“Mm.” Xia Qiqi couldn’t resist her warmth and passion. Her hands lifted almost instinctively, curling around Xie Yinian’s shoulders.
Their kisses deepened, and soon Xie Yinian was losing control, her heart pounding like it was on fire. A faint trace of her pheromones began to fill the air.
“Wait.” Xia Qiqi gasped, face burning. “Go to the bedroom.”
Xie Yinian scooped her up without hesitation, carrying her quickly toward the bedroom.
The door shut with a soft thud.
She laid Xia Qiqi down on the bed, and before the latter could even speak, her lips were already captured in another hungry kiss.
“Mm.”
Xie Yinian kissed her fiercely, impatiently, until several of Xia Qiqi’s buttons came loose and scattered.
“You belong to me,” Xie Yinian whispered suddenly, gazing down at her with unguarded tenderness.
They looked into each other’s eyes in silence. Xia Qiqi turned her face away, too shy to meet her gaze.
“Is it okay?” Xie Yinian asked softly.
Blushing deeply, Xia Qiqi nodded.
She bit her lip, trying to hold back any sound.
“Xia Xia. Xia Xia.” Xie Yinian murmured her name by her ear, her voice low and gentle.
Xia Qiqi let out a muffled breath, a single tear slipping from the corner of her eye, glimmering beneath the small mole there—fragile and heartbreakingly beautiful.
Xie Yinian pressed a tender kiss to her forehead.
“I love you.”
