After Transmigrating into a Scummy Alpha, I Became a Tool Person - Chapter 19
Xia Qiqi was in an awful mood as she rode back to the villa.
The house was empty—Aunt Jiang had taken leave to return to her hometown, and the butler had urgent matters to attend to and wasn’t back yet.
Her unstable emotions caused her pheromones to run rampant inside her, colliding chaotically. Suddenly, a familiar heat surged through her body.
Even though the room was just a few steps away, Xia Qiqi felt as if the distance was endless.
Her body felt feverish, and her legs felt like they were stepping on clouds, soft and powerless.
Her face flushed red as she collapsed onto the floor, completely drained, mint-scented pheromones spreading through the air around her.
At that moment, Xie Yinian returned home. Pulling her suitcase to the villa door, she input the code, and the door beeped twice before swinging open automatically.
As soon as she stepped inside, she caught a strong whiff of mint.
Confused, Xie Yinian paused. Was that Xia Qiqi’s pheromones? Was Xia Qiqi here too?
She wheeled her suitcase upstairs, and the refreshing scent grew stronger as she approached. It was as if it was right next to her.
A faint blush rose on Xie Yinian’s cheeks, and unconsciously, a subtle scent of milk emanated from the nape of her neck.
Turning the corner, she saw Xia Qiqi sitting on the floor. Surprised, Xie Yinian exclaimed, “Xia Xia?”
Xie Yinian noticed something was wrong with Xia Qiqi. She released her suitcase handle, crouched down, and looked at Xia Qiqi, who was burning with fever. Concern filled her voice: “What’s wrong?”
Xia Qiqi’s lips trembled as she slowly whispered, “Fever.”
Fever?
Xie Yinian’s mind raced. Omegas experienced a heat period every month—could this mean Xia Qiqi was entering hers?
Without hesitation, Xie Yinian scooped her up and carried her into the room.
Panting slightly, she gently laid Xia Qiqi on the bed and quickly searched the room.
“Where’s the suppressant?” Xie Yinian asked, beads of sweat forming on her forehead.
Weakly, Xia Qiqi replied, “In the second drawer on the desk.”
Xie Yinian found it, retrieved the suppressant, and returned to the bedside.
She tore open the packaging, holding the syringe in her hand, but froze, unsure how to proceed.
Xia Qiqi lifted her eyelids to look at her.
“I don’t know how to use it,” Xie Yinian admitted, helpless.
Xia Qiqi’s rational mind remained intact; she hadn’t lost consciousness despite the heat. She spoke softly, “Inject it into the back of my neck or the arm, either works.”
Xie Yinian nodded and carefully inserted the needle into a vein on Xia Qiqi’s arm.
Xia Qiqi bit her lip, enduring the discomfort.
Once the suppressant was fully administered, Xie Yinian removed the syringe and asked, “How’s it feeling? Any better?”
But Xia Qiqi felt as if her body was ablaze; the suppressant brought her no relief.
She leaned against the headboard, breathing heavily, her mind growing hazy. Amid the blur, she seemed to catch a sweet, milky scent.
Stretching forward, she searched for the source of the fragrance.
Her lips brushed against the nape of Xie Yinian’s neck, and her hair lightly grazed her. A faint tickle reached Xie Yinian’s ears.
Warm breath fanned the back of her neck, sending goosebumps racing down her spine.
Xie Yinian froze, her body stiff. “Xia Xia?” she called out shakily.
“Hm?” Xia Qiqi asked, dazed.
Xie Yinian turned to look at her and noticed how beautiful her eyes were—almond-shaped, the corners slightly lifted, shimmering with an irresistible allure.
“Feeling any better?” Xie Yinian asked in a husky voice.
There was no response. Xia Qiqi reached out, hugging Xie Yinian tightly, leaning her head close to her neck, inhaling her pheromones at close range.
So fragrant.
Xie Yinian froze where she stood, looking down at the head nuzzling into her neck. She placed a hand on Xia Qiqi’s head, whispering hoarsely, “What are you doing?”
Innocently, Xia Qiqi lifted her head, and seeing Xie Yinian pull away, she pouted pitifully. “I feel uncomfortable.”
“Where? What’s uncomfortable?”
Xia Qiqi couldn’t explain. Her whole body ached, every part of her was restless. She looped her arms around Xie Yinian’s neck, tugging her closer. Her lips brushed Xie Yinian’s cheek in a gentle, fleeting kiss.
Xie Yinian, inexplicably taken advantage of, froze: “…”
As their lips met, Xia Qiqi leaned closer to Xie Yinian and gently nibbled.
Xie Yinian: “!”
This was blatant mischief! Even though Xia Qiqi was also a woman, that didn’t mean anyone could just kiss her! This was my first kiss!
Xia Qiqi seemed somewhat appeased, unconsciously flicking out her tongue to tease.
Xie Yinian couldn’t hold back. If the other party was going to shamelessly take advantage of her, she might as well reap some benefits too.
So, Xie Yinian leaned down and kissed Xia Qiqi, mimicking her gentle sucking.
Gradually, Xie Yinian grew bolder, no longer content with staying at the surface. She parted Xia Qiqi’s lips and began to explore, savoring the sweetness within.
Their kiss deepened, and unknowingly, their pheromones began to mingle.
When Xia Qiqi woke up, she looked at Xie Yinian lying beside her and pressed her lips together.
She hadn’t lost her memory; she remembered everything from her fevered state clearly. She had deliberately flirted with Xie Yinian, which had annoyed her, and then things had escalated uncontrollably. They had likely kissed for a long time before finally collapsing into sleep.
Honestly, she didn’t dislike Xie Yinian’s touch. She even enjoyed the feeling—a warmth, tenderness, and intimacy she had never experienced before. Without the sting and torment caused by inhibitors, it was a completely new, delicate, and wonderful sensation.
Thinking of her own physical condition, perhaps she could try to accept it? Xie Yinian wasn’t like other Alphas—Xia Qiqi knew this well.
Xie Yinian stirred awake, groggy, and propped herself up. Her voice was hoarse: “What time is it?”
The moment the words left her mouth, she realized she hadn’t taken a sip of water since the kissing started. Her throat was parched.
“About six fifteen,” Xia Qiqi replied.
“Oh.” Xie Yinian sat up and scratched her head. “I’m a bit hungry. Time to eat.”
Xia Qiqi glanced at the red marks on Xie Yinian’s neck, her cheeks heating up. She quickly turned her face away. “Aunt Jiang took the day off, so she’s not at the villa. Maybe we should just order takeout.”
“Takeout isn’t healthy. We’ll cook,” Xie Yinian said.
Xia Qiqi hesitated for a moment before saying, “I don’t know how to cook.”
Of course, Xie Yinian knew that. “Don’t worry, I’ll handle it. You just have to eat.”
Xie Yinian slipped on her slippers and headed out. Suddenly, she turned back: “Do you have any food preferences or things you can’t eat? Like cilantro or garlic?”
Xia Qiqi shook her head. “No, I’m not picky.”
Xie Yinian nodded and went down to the kitchen to start cooking.
Xia Qiqi got out of bed, lifted the blanket, and went to the mirror. A few marks had appeared on her neck. Blushing, she remembered she was still in her suit from returning home, so she went to the wardrobe to change.
After changing, she went downstairs and heard the sound of chopping from the kitchen. She walked over.
Inside, Xie Yinian was focused on chopping vegetables. Hearing Xia Qiqi’s footsteps, she assumed Xia Qiqi was hungry. “Wait a moment, it’s not ready yet,” she said.
Xia Qiqi shook her head, signaling that she wasn’t hungry—she just wanted to watch Xie Yinian cook.
Crossing her arms, Xia Qiqi leaned against the doorframe, watching Xie Yinian in a warm, homey scene. Somehow, this felt nice, life like this didn’t seem so bad.
Xie Yinian was focused on the chopping when suddenly a warm body pressed against her back.
She stiffened, putting down the knife. “Xia Xia?” she whispered.
Xia Qiqi wrapped her arms around Xie Yinian’s waist, pressing herself close, and kissed the area behind her ear.
“Let go, I’m cooking,” Xie Yinian said, half embarrassed, half annoyed. What was up with Xia Qiqi today? So clingy!
Xie Yinian gently pried Xia Qiqi’s hands away and turned to face her.
Xia Qiqi’s eyes glistened with moisture.
Xie Yinian sensed something was off. Had she lost consciousness again?
Xia Qiqi pressed her legs between Xie Yinian’s, one hand bracing on the counter, looking down at her.
Xie Yinian leaned back slightly, trying to maintain some distance.
The cool Omega lifted Xie Yinian’s chin: “If you agree to stay with me through my heat, there’s a different kind of reward waiting afterwards.”
Xie Yinian was stunned.
Xia Qiqi pouted. “You don’t agree?”
Xie Yinian’s mind blanked for a moment, then she nodded.
Xia Qiqi leaned in and kissed her.
