After Transmigrating Into A Novel, Not Only Did I Become An Omega, But I Also Provoked The Male Lead’s Mother - Chapter 16
At first, Qin Yue tried desperately to stay awake, but the drug’s effects were too strong. She bit her lower lip hard, struggling to suppress any suggestive sounds.
Through the fog of drowsiness, she faintly heard footsteps approaching. She forced herself to remain silent, trembling with fear, but the drug’s potency overwhelmed her. No matter how fiercely she willed herself to resist, her physical instincts won out.
Qin Yue couldn’t hold back, letting out pained groans.
The footsteps paused briefly before quickening towards her.
Despair flooded Qin Yue’s heart.
She didn’t want to be toyed with like a plaything. She didn’t want to lose control and act like a wild beast in heat. She didn’t want a stranger—especially an unknown one—to touch her! What if it was a disgusting man? She didn’t want this!
Tears streamed down her cheeks, soaking her temples.
In that moment, Qin Yue thought of the mint-scented woman.
If it were her, Qin Yue thought she would have been willing. At least that woman wasn’t bad. Though her actions had been somewhat forceful and even naive at times, her touch had been gentle and patient. Qin Yue could feel her care and respect.
But how could that be possible?
Qin Yue chuckled bitterly. She had been kidnapped, and she had no idea who the kidnappers were.
For a fleeting moment, Qin Yue felt like giving up the struggle.
The door opened, then slammed shut.
Qin Yue’s consciousness was fading, and she struggled to resist the rising tide of desire within her. She still refused to give up.
The door opened again, and Qin Yue felt someone approaching.
“Don’t come closer! Don’t…” she shouted with all her strength.
But the person seemed not to hear her and reached out a hand.
“Get away! Don’t touch me! Stay back…” Qin Yue roared fiercely.
Yet she didn’t realize that what she considered a fierce roar sounded to others like a kitten’s weak mewl—soft and weak, with a strangely sweet voice.
As the tide of desire gradually overwhelmed her consciousness, Qin Yue desperately clung to a shred of rationality, resorting to the most forceful words she could muster to protect herself. She curled herself into a small ball like a helpless little animal, looking utterly pitiful.
She couldn’t hear what the other person was saying. Her mind felt foggy, and her ears were buzzing.
Qin Yue’s heart grew increasingly silent and despairing.
A cool mint scent approached, gradually enveloping her in its chill, so cold it made her shiver.
The familiar mint scent—the one that had once overwhelmed her, making her entire body tremble.
It was her!
Qin Yue’s nearly lifeless heart sprang back to life like a withered tree budding in spring.
She tried to open her eyes to see the face of the mint-scented woman, but tears blurred her vision. The woman leaned over her, backlit by the light, and Qin Yue could only make out her silhouette.
“Don’t cry. It’s okay now,” the woman’s gentle voice soothed as she softly wiped away Qin Yue’s tears.
Qin Yue was cradled in the woman’s comforting embrace.
Since this was the Presidential Suite, it was fully stocked with everything from suppressant patches to inhibitors, even including finger cots, Mr. Du, and… well, you know.
Ling Jixiao didn’t want to stay here. If she was right, that wastrel Young Master Zhang had sent someone to abduct Qin Yue, and this hotel room was his private space. Who knew if there were hidden cameras?
Ling Jixiao found a suppressant patch and stuck it on Qin Yue, then applied one to herself.
She considered injecting Qin Yue with an inhibitor, but Qin Yue’s disoriented state clearly indicated she’d been drugged. Ling Jixiao didn’t know what drug had been used, what its side effects might be, or whether an inhibitor would be safe. After a moment’s hesitation, she decided against it.
Ling Jixiao was wearing a long trench coat. She took it off and wrapped it around Qin Yue, covering her completely, blocking others’ gazes. Then she bent down, scooped Qin Yue up into her arms, and stood.
Qin Yue instinctively clung to Ling Jixiao’s neck. The lingering mint scent felt cool and refreshing, as if only that scent could douse the fire burning inside her.
Why is the mint scent suddenly fading?
Qin Yue nuzzled Ling Jixiao’s neck, sniffing again.
“It’s gone…” Her voice trembled, like a child denied her candy.
“Don’t move!” Ling Jixiao’s eyes darkened, his arms tightening around Qin Yue.
But Qin Yue, consumed by desire, couldn’t hear him. She continued to nuzzle the skin, finding no trace of mint. She began to lick, until the pale flesh flushed crimson.
The sensation of soft, wet warmth made Ling Jixiao’s hand tremble, nearly throwing Qin Yue aside.
I can’t take this! I really can’t!
Can’t you just stay still?!
Fueled by pent-up frustration, Ling Jixiao kicked the door open and strode out.
The bodyguard watched Ling Jixiao emerge, his face grim. He assumed Qin Yue was unwell, and Ling Jixiao was worried.
Beneath Ling Jixiao’s clothes, Qin Yue’s small head continued to nuzzle, like a treasure hunter. Her little tongue reddened the skin, then discovered the softness of his earlobe, capturing it between her lips.
Ling Jixiao stumbled.
“Young Miss, are you alright?” the bodyguard asked, concerned. He assumed the person in his arms was too heavy for Ling Jixiao to carry. “Should I take over?”
“No need!” Ling Jixiao’s face tightened further, her lips pressed into a thin line.
The Bodyguard Captain, an Alpha, could detect the faint scent of mixed Omega and Alpha pheromones on Ling Jixiao. He guessed what was happening and subtly signaled his Beta teammate to stay back and follow closely.
“You handle this. Continue the investigation,” Ling Jixiao instructed. She placed Qin Yue in the back seat and climbed into the driver’s seat herself.
The car sped away.
As soon as she was in the car, Ling Jixiao called her secretary, Su Yao. “Prepare a change of clothes for someone about 160 centimeters tall. Also, contact Doctor Bai and ask him to wait at the hospital.”
Doctor Bai was the Ling family’s physician. His father had held the same position before him, and he now worked at a private hospital.
“Understood, CEO Ling,” Su Yao replied.
Qin Yue, seated in the back seat, had completely lost her composure. Muffled groans escaped her lips as the overwhelming heat made her discard Ling Jixiao’s windbreaker. She tore off her Suppressant Patch and began fumbling with her buttons, desperate to undress. But her hands and legs trembled uncontrollably, making it impossible to unfasten them. Panicked, Qin Yue burst into tears, clawing at her collar.
“Qin Yue, we’re almost at the hospital! Stay with me!” Ling Jixiao’s brow furrowed so deeply she could have crushed a fly between her brows. Gritting her teeth, she suppressed the urge to tear Qin Yue’s clothes off and devour her whole, forcing herself to focus on driving.
“It hurts…” Qin Yue sobbed, continuing to tug at her clothes.
Her pristine shirt was now crumpled and torn, exposing large patches of pale skin.
Ling Jixiao glanced in the rearview mirror, the stark whiteness of Qin Yue’s skin blinding her. She quickly averted her gaze. After a moment’s hesitation, she tore off her own Suppressant Patch and released her pheromones to calm Qin Yue.
A cool mint scent began to fill the car. Qin Yue sighed in relief, but then seemed to want more of that refreshing mint scent.
Ling Jixiao drove fast but steady, quickly arriving at the private hospital’s underground parking garage.
This exclusive hospital catered to wealthy elites and celebrities, with strict security and unparalleled privacy.
Therefore, the underground parking garage of the private hospital was relatively empty.
The car reeked of Ling Jixiao and Qin Yue’s pheromones. Worried that opening the door would cause a commotion if others caught the scent, Ling Jixiao parked the car in a secluded corner.
“We’re here,” Ling Jixiao said, turning around. She saw Qin Yue lying curled up in the back seat, her back to Ling Jixiao, shivering slightly as if unconscious.
“Qin Yue?” Ling Jixiao called out, concerned. Sensing something was wrong, she quickly got out of the car and opened the rear door.
As she leaned down to check on Qin Yue, Qin Yue suddenly wrapped her arms around Ling Jixiao’s neck and buried her face in the crook of her neck.
“I love it…” Qin Yue murmured.
Ling Jixiao knew Qin Yue was referring to her pheromones, but her heart still skipped a beat.
“Let go for a moment. We’ll go to the hospital and see a doctor, and you’ll feel better,” Ling Jixiao said softly, her patient nature soothing. But Qin Yue’s pheromones and the persistent, gentle nuzzling of her lips against Ling Jixiao’s neck had already left her eyes red and her breathing heavy.
“Mmm…” Qin Yue was completely lost to reason now. She couldn’t hear anything around her; her only focus was on finding something to relieve her burning need.
“Qin…” Ling Jixiao tried to speak again, but Qin Yue had already captured her earlobe between her lips.
The soft, warm sensation was too much for Ling Jixiao, whose mind had already been wandering. She had never been one for asceticism.
“Are you sure you know what you’re doing?!” Ling Jixiao hissed through gritted teeth.
She knew Qin Yue wasn’t thinking clearly, but she asked anyway. When Qin Yue didn’t respond, Ling Jixiao took her silence as tacit consent.
She had held back for too long. She wasn’t some frigid saint who could remain indifferent! Besides, she found Qin Yue’s body utterly captivating.
Her lips unconsciously began to suck at Qin Yue’s pale skin, and trembling hands began to unfasten her collar.
It felt as if everything was flowing naturally, as if it were meant to be.
Ling Jixiao stopped thinking about what came next, letting her deepest desires guide her actions.
Qin Yue trembled at Ling Jixiao’s touch. She tilted her head back, both anticipating and fearing what would happen next, her eyes half-open and unfocused as she stared at the car ceiling.
