Nan Yi got out of the car and slowly walked toward the hospital.

The hospital was crowded. He registered quietly and did not get called until noon.

“What seems to be the problem with your gland?”

When it was finally his turn, the man in the white coat started asking questions without even looking up as Nan Yi entered the room.

Nan Yi walked to the desk, sat down, and quietly lowered his head to type on his phone.

The “croak” sounds from his frog-themed keyboard app were particularly noticeable in the quiet room. The doctor, head still bowed, grew impatient when he did not receive an answer, hearing only the sound of typing.

“This is a hospital, not a place to play on your phone. There are many patients waiting behind you. Do not waste my time.”

Nan Yi felt nervous and hurriedly held his phone up toward the doctor.

He happened to meet the gaze of the doctor, who had looked up with a frown.

Bai Shanyao’s brows knitted even tighter as he stared, puzzled, at the phone screen.

“Sir, I already said this is not.”

He did not finish his sentence, and even his furrowed brow looked somewhat awkward.

Bai Shanyao smoothed his brow and said apologetically, “My apologies.”

As Bai Shanyao looked up, Nan Yi was a bit surprised. He had assumed doctors were older men, but the Dr. Bai before him had a handsome face and looked to be, at most, twenty-six or twenty-seven years old.

Bai Shanyao clicked a few times on his computer.

Nan Yi nodded.

Nan Yi stood up. Learning that there was nothing wrong with his health, he slowly walked out of the hospital.

As long as he spent time with He Yushen, he could become normal.

At a noodle shop, Nan Yi picked up noodles and slowly put them into his mouth, but his mind remained on Dr. Bai’s words.

He knew he certainly would not be staying by He Yushen’s side for long. However, if he behaved more obediently and managed to get some of He Yushen’s pheromones frequently, could he perhaps become a normal Omega?

As he was lost in thought, his gaze was drawn to a figure in front of a hotel across the street.

A slender body dressed in a black suit. Nan Yi stared closely as the person walked toward a parking space in the driveway.

Even though the face was still a bit blurry, Nan Yi recognized that the man was He Yushen.

There was another person beside him.

While eating his noodles, he watched as He Yushen and the other person sat in a car together, and the black Maybach drove away, kicking up dust.

Nan Yi wiped his mouth and stood up. He was not in a hurry to return to the villa; instead, he visited some discounted shops and bought a few T-shirts and casual trousers.

Finally, he sent a text message for the driver to pick him up and return to the villa.

On the return trip, Nan Yi had no energy to look at the scenery. Due to the sweltering weather, the air conditioning was on inside the car.

He had not slept well last night, and after a busy morning, he fell asleep in the car.

Because of this, he did not see the familiar black Maybach behind their car.

“Isn’t that your car in front?”

The Alpha sitting next to He Yushen looked at the white car moving at an extremely slow speed and spoke in surprise.

He Yushen just raised his head and let out a cold “Hmm.”

The Alpha was quite interested. “Yo, could it be your little delicate wife driving?”

The man wore a look of watching a show, even glancing at He Yushen’s lower body.

He Yushen’s face turned cold. He frowned and glared at the man chattering away next to him. “Shut up!”

The Alpha raised an eyebrow. “No.”

He Yushen rolled his eyes at him, speechless.

Although the Alpha was stubborn, he did not say anything more, taking out his phone to play games.

Listening to the game sounds, which were even noisier than his talking, He Yushen simply put down the documents in his hand.

In front of the European-style villa, two cars stopped: one white and one black.

He Yushen and the Alpha beside him got out of the car together, but the white car that had stopped first remained motionless.

Yan An watched the person in the white car who had not gotten out for a long time. He placed his hand on He Yushen’s shoulder and said, “Old Yu, why has your little delicate wife not gotten out of the car yet?”

Yan An was the same age as He Yushen, both twenty-six, but he was three months younger than He Yushen.

Nan Yi was said to be just twenty years old, but Yan An did not know that the person in the car was Nan Yi. After all, the wedding invitation yesterday had been under Nan Zhi’s name.

He Yushen felt a bit irritated and glanced at the car ahead. “I do not know.”

After speaking, he headed straight toward the front gate, while the car behind him drove toward the garage.
