Chapter 6: “I’m so hot, what did you feed me…”
Ruan Mingyu instantly sobered up, only to find himself held in someone’s arms, flying through the sky!
Ruan Mingyu was terrified. He opened his eyes and saw a very charming and seductive man: “Big Brother, what are you trying to do?”
“You’re Song Chenxi? Good looking and a pleasing name too,” Gong Lingdeng said with a beaming smile. He carried himself with a flirtatious, enchanting air. His words were frivolous, and his actions were the same. As he spoke, he intimately stroked Ruan Mingyu’s face. Although his appearance was androgynous, his voice was very deep.
Ruan Mingyu shivered. He was being mistaken for Song Chenxi! Under this shock, he recalled that there was indeed a plot in the book where the Young Lord of the Joyful Union Sect fell in love with the heartthrob at first sight and forcibly took him to the sect!
Ruan Mingyu was terrified: “No, you’ve got the wrong person. Song Chenxi is my Senior Brother. Go back and capture him! I can even lead you to him!”
Gong Lingdeng stared at Ruan Mingyu’s face and giggled: “Mistake or not, it doesn’t matter. You look similar.”
Ruan Mingyu argued: “How can it be the same? You mustn’t settle! Go back and get him!”
He wouldn’t listen to Ruan Mingyu’s words and continued to carry him back. Ruan Mingyu talked himself hoarse, but Gong Lingdeng remained unmoved.
Ruan Mingyu was too talkative, and Gong Lingdeng became annoyed. He cast a silencing spell on him: “Everything about a beauty is good, except for a too-chattery mouth. Keep whatever you have to say for when you get back with me, or even better, when we’re cultivating together.”
Ruan Mingyu’s pupils widened when he heard what was said. No! This was Song Chenxi’s plotline. Why did he have to go through it? He didn’t want to be gay! How was Song Chenxi going to repay him for this!
Gong Lingdeng carried him all the way. Soon, they arrived at a courtyard. As soon as they entered, Ruan Mingyu smelled a sickeningly sweet fragrance.
Gong Lingdeng put him down, and Ruan Mingyu’s feet finally touched the ground.
Many beautiful young women came up to them, covering their mouths and laughing: “Young Lord, have you finally found someone you like?” Ruan Mingyu was initially unobservant. He looked closer and realized that half of them were men in seductive attire.
Gong Lingdeng said: “I’ve decided. I want him as my cultivation vessel.”
What, a cultivation vessel? They didn’t even treat him as a person!
“Congratulations, Young Lord! May the Master successfully achieve great divine power in the future!”
Gong Lingdeng smiled: “Come, first help me clean up the little beauty and dress him up nicely.”
Ruan Mingyu was pushed along by these people and taken to a huge bathtub.
With a ‘plop’, Ruan Mingyu was pushed into the tub.
There were rose petals in the pool. Ruan Mingyu gulped two mouthfuls of water and emerged, gasping for air.
“Good boy, take off your clothes. What decent person bathes with their clothes on,” the people of the Joyful Union Sect on the shore teased.
Ruan Mingyu blushed: “No, no, no… I won’t wash.”
“Oh, he’s shy! What a cute little brother.” Another burst of charming laughter.
With that, someone reached out to strip his clothes. Ruan Mingyu was like a fish on a chopping block, about to be stripped and bathed.
Ruan Mingyu was incoherent: “Sister… don’t pull off my clothes!”
“Are you sure I’m a sister or a brother? How can you be so shy if you want to be a member of our Joyful Union Sect?” one of the sect members said.
Ruan Mingyu saw that it was a heavily made-up man. He instantly changed his attitude and glared at him: “Fine, I’ll take them off! Stop the pulling and tugging!”
After a round of “torture,” Ruan Mingyu was finally clean and brought out.
The clothes they gave him were an intricate red jiaoling robe with dark floral patterns. Ruan Mingyu put on the robe, only to realize they hadn’t given him any pants! He quickly and secretly retrieved his own clothes and put on his pants. The robe was outrageously revealing, with a large opening at the chest that showed a lot of white skin. He quickly pulled up the collar to cover what needed to be covered.
After washing, his body was filled with the sweet, cloying fragrance he had smelled earlier. Ruan Mingyu took a whiff, almost fainting, and quickly held his breath, waving his hand to fan the smell away.
Since Ruan Mingyu nearly got lost in the bamboo forest last time, Song Chenxi had given him a stack of sound transmission talismans upon his return.
Taking advantage of the absence of others, Ruan Mingyu quickly transmitted a message to Song Chenxi.
After a short while, he received Song Chenxi’s reply.
“Where did you run off to?” Song Chenxi’s voice was clearly laced with anger. He couldn’t sleep, so he went downstairs to practice his sword. When he returned, Ruan Mingyu was nowhere to be found.
Ruan Mingyu almost cried when he heard his voice: “Senior Brother, hurry and save me! I was kidnapped! If you don’t come soon, they’re going to do something bad to me.”
Ruan Mingyu gave Song Chenxi a brief summary of the situation, including a detailed description of his surroundings and location.
As soon as he finished, someone knocked on the door: “Young Gentleman, are you ready? Don’t make our Young Lord wait anxiously.”
Ruan Mingyu hid the sound transmission talisman and opened the door to leave.
They led him to a room. After dropping him off, they thoughtfully said: “You are our Young Lord’s first cultivation vessel. As long as you don’t betray the Young Lord, he will always remember the good things you do. Stay obediently by the Young Lord’s side. Once he becomes the Sect Master, your good days will begin.”
Ruan Mingyu nodded feignedly, inwardly cursing: What cultivation vessel?! Why was Song Chenxi’s plotline being thrust upon him!
After they left, Ruan Mingyu immediately searched for a way out. It seemed no one was guarding the outside. Were they so confident that they weren’t afraid he would run away?
Ruan Mingyu immediately went to push open the window. Just as he was about to jump out, he realized the room had a restriction placed on it! He couldn’t get out even if the door was wide open!
Ruan Mingyu gave up the struggle and completely resigned himself. Since he couldn’t get out, he might as well sleep!
There was only one bed in the room. The large red quilt looked like it was for a wedding. Ruan Mingyu couldn’t worry about that anymore. He lifted the quilt, lay down, and instantly fell asleep.
Worrying was useless. Forget it, sleep!
Ruan Mingyu hadn’t been asleep for long when he felt a pair of hands fondling his face.
He opened his eyes and met a pair of extremely enchanting eyes. Gong Lingdeng had a soft, effeminate appearance. Unlike Song Chenxi’s cold beauty, he was more like a decaying flower.
Gong Lingdeng wore clothes of the same color as him, smiling like a flower: “You’re finally awake.”
Ruan Mingyu abruptly sat up and backed away, but his back hit the wall. He had nowhere to retreat.
Gong Lingdeng caressed his cheek. His fingernails were long, leaving red marks on Ruan Mingyu’s face as they traced across it.
He teased: “Little beauty is so precious. A slight touch leaves a mark. After tonight, I wonder how much ointment it will take to remove all the marks on your body.”
He added: “I will try to be gentle.”
Ruan Mingyu wore a wooden expression: “Please let me go. Go find my Senior Brother, okay? I’m not gay. I’ll say it again, I’m not gay.”
Gong Lingdeng didn’t understand the latter half of his sentence. “Why do you keep telling me to go catch your Senior Brother?”
“My Senior Brother is a beauty who can drown fish and geese, whose face can eclipse the moon and put flowers to shame. He is highly talented, cultivated, generous, gentle, and kind. He’s the one you first set your eyes on, so you should go find him.”
“How much do you like your Senior Brother to think he’s good in every way?”
Ruan Mingyu was stunned: “I don’t like him.”
Gong Lingdeng: “If you don’t like him, then I don’t either.”
“We won’t talk about this now.” Gong Lingdeng disregarded Ruan Mingyu’s struggles and pulled him onto his lap, asking, “I still don’t know your name?”
Ruan Mingyu was extremely uncomfortable. In this position, he had no autonomy and was completely confined in Gong Lingdeng’s embrace.
Ruan Mingyu replied: “Song Chenxi.” Since he was being treated as Song Chenxi, why ask for his name?
Gong Lingdeng picked up the wine from the table and poured a cup down his throat: “Little beauty isn’t telling the truth. Lying deserves punishment.”
“Mmm, mmm—” He pinched Ruan Mingyu’s chin and forcefully poured the wine down. The wine ran down Ruan Mingyu’s cheek, dripped onto his collarbone, and wet his shirt.
Ruan Mingyu kept shaking his head: “Don’t…”
Gong Lingdeng’s eyes were full of smiles: “Come, drink a little more.”
Ruan Mingyu pushed his hand away and lied: “I’ll tell you, I’ll tell you! Don’t force me to drink! My name is Ruan Qiang.”
Gong Lingdeng roared with laughter. Although he knew Ruan Mingyu was lying, he hadn’t been this happy in a long time: “Good. I’ll call you ‘Ruanyuan’ from now on.”
The way he said it was a bit nauseating, but Ruan Mingyu didn’t dare to speak up in anger. Fine, call him whatever he wants.
He was forced to drink several more cups. Other than feeling a bit dizzy, Ruan Mingyu didn’t have many symptoms. The liquor was strong. Even Gong Lingdeng, who had been cultivating for centuries, was finding it a bit much.
“Why aren’t you drunk yet?” Gong Lingdeng said: “Ruanyuan has a good capacity for alcohol, but I don’t like anyone being able to out-drink me. Since Ruanyuan can drink so much, then drink some more.”
He poured another large cup. The wine cup was held at Ruan Mingyu’s lips, forcing him to drink, completely ignoring his wishes.
Ruan Mingyu’s mouth was full of the smell of alcohol. He turned his face away: “No, I’ll get drunk if I drink any more…”
Gong Lingdeng’s tone was gentle but firm: “I want you to get drunk. Drink it.”
Ruan Mingyu tried to dodge, but his neck was gripped, forcing him to tilt his head back and drink the wine.
After being forced to drink an unknown number of cups, Ruan Mingyu’s pupils finally lost focus. His body swayed. His eyes were bleary with intoxication, and his cheeks were flushed.
Gong Lingdeng still felt it wasn’t enough and became increasingly excessive, directly forcing the wine down with a spout-tipped flask. He pinched Ruan Mingyu’s mouth open and poured it in. The wine wet the front of his shirt, outlining his slender figure. Ruan Mingyu tried to push his hand away, but his arms felt weak, resting softly on Gong Lingdeng’s arm, a seeming invitation to continue.
Gong Lingdeng’s hand caressed Ruan Mingyu’s face, and he kissed his cheek: “The beauty is drunk; the lovely face is flushed.”
Ruan Mingyu clutched Gong Lingdeng’s collar, the alcohol coloring the corners of his eyes red. He spoke the truth in his drunken state: “When are you going to let me go? I told you that you got the wrong person! How disgusting, making me drink with you!”
Gong Lingdeng smiled faintly: “It seems our Ruanyuan has a big problem with me.”
Ruan Mingyu pushed him away. His mind was unclear. He rushed out to open the door and leave. However, just as Ruan Mingyu touched the doorknob, he was lifted from behind.
Gong Lingdeng picked Ruan Mingyu up horizontally and placed him on the bed.
“Where could you run off to? There are restrictions everywhere,” he said: “I read in a book that we should build up some feelings before dual cultivation. We should start with kissing.”
Ruan Mingyu asked drunkenly: “What book?”
Gong Lingdeng said calmly: “Naturally, a book that brings pleasure to people.”
Ruan Mingyu said: “Definitely not a serious book.”
He lay on the bed and felt something poking his head under the pillow. He reached underneath and pulled out an illustrated book of erotic postures. The little figures inside were in various poses.
Ruan Mingyu flipped through two pages and commented: “The drawings are ugly. You should read better quality ones.”
Gong Lingdeng: “Is our Ruanyuan quite knowledgeable?”
Ruan Mingyu: “What haven’t I seen? I’m almost tired of people, alright!”
“Then Ruanyuan should be considerate of me later. I don’t quite understand yet.” Gong Lingdeng leaned in, poised to kiss him.
Ruan Mingyu regained some clarity and slapped him: “Get away! Don’t come near me!”
His slap was weak, and Gong Lingdeng’s face showed no mark. He took the opportunity to grasp Ruan Mingyu’s hand: “You’re drunk, and still making such a fuss.”
He took out a pill: “I didn’t want to use medicine. But Ruanyuan, you’re not being good at all.”
His finger pried open Ruan Mingyu’s lips, and he pushed a pill inside.
Ruan Mingyu didn’t want to swallow it and bit him hard, drawing blood from his finger. Gong Lingdeng’s smile instantly froze. He held his throat, still unable to be harsh with him, and coaxed him in a soft voice:
“Swallow it.”
The pill dissolved immediately upon entering his mouth. Ruan Mingyu clutched his throat, his face turning red as he tried to spit out the medicine, but it was in vain.
Gong Lingdeng propped his head up with one hand, watching his reaction.
Ruan Mingyu felt an inexplicable fire burning inside him, making him extremely uncomfortable. He said: “I’m so hot, what did you feed me?”
Gong Lingdeng: “A love-inducing pill.”
