Yan Run’s cheeks flushed red. “So… jiejie really thinks I did well?”
Yu Wenxi nodded. “It’s not like it’s your first time, and it’s not mine either. If you weren’t any good, why would I keep doing it with you?”
Yan Run instantly lit up with joy. She wrapped her arms around Yu Wenxi, practically lifting her off the ground, and even spun her around once.
Yu Wenxi was startled. “Put me down! That’s dangerous!”
Instead, Yan Run carried her straight to the bed. Yu Wenxi instinctively clung to her arm. An Alpha’s arms were indeed thicker than an Omega’s, but compared to a male Alpha’s, hers were still far too slender.
Yu Wenxi thought to herself that it was already a blessing she hadn’t broken any bones. For a moment, a swirl of emotions rose within her.
Seeing the redness in Yu Wenxi’s eyes, Yan Run froze. “Jie, why are you crying?”
Yu Wenxi turned her head with a little huff. “I’m not crying.”
Yan Run carefully brushed away the dampness at the corners of her eyes, soothing her in a soft voice. “Alright, alright, don’t cry… no more tears.”
Yu Wenxi leaned forward and bit her finger. She didn’t bite hard, but it was enough to make the Alpha hiss in pain.
“Why did you bite me?” Yan Run asked.
“I wanted to. Can’t I?” Yu Wenxi muttered.
Yan Run blinked. Seeing the Omega’s coquettish expression made her heart itch. She let out a hearty laugh. “Bite away, bite as hard as you want. Even if you bite me to pieces, I’ll still like it.”
Yu Wenxi smacked her on the butt, frowning. “What nonsense is that?”
Yan Run grinned. “Just a little married-couple banter. Jie, you can always say these things to me, you know.”
Yu Wenxi rolled her eyes, then gripped her backside harder.
Suddenly, her hand was gently caught in the Alpha’s grasp. Yan Run’s bright eyes locked on hers. Yu Wenxi saw that fiery gaze every day and had long grown used to it.
“What are you doing?” she asked.
“Doing what married couples should do,” Yan Run replied, before leaning down to press a firm kiss against the Omega’s snow-pale cheek. From there, she trailed downward—brushing her nose, her lips, then the flawless curve of her neck.
A soft, lilting sound slipped from Yu Wenxi’s lips, dripping with a hundred shades of seduction. She felt her clothes being stripped away, the faint sound of fabric rustling in her ears. As the sound grew louder, her body began to tremble ever so slightly.
“Slow down, baby,” Yu Wenxi murmured, trying to stop what was about to happen.
But it was no use—the Alpha on top of her had already lost all restraint, determined to prove her prowess.
Yu Wenxi could only whisper gentle pleas, coaxing her to go easier, even as she endured the Alpha’s relentless “teasing.” By the end, she was breathless and thoroughly worn out.
In the midst of her soft cries, a sudden, sharp pain lanced through the back of her neck. Her body went weak, her eyes fluttering shut.
She gasped involuntarily—only to have Yan Run’s lips cover hers a moment later. The Alpha chuckled softly. “Jie, I’ll be gentle.”
Yu Wenxi gave a small hum in reply, then wrapped her arms around the Alpha she loved most. The fresh, citrus scent clinging to Yan Run—like oranges after the rain—was something she could never stop longing for.
Unable to resist, Yu Wenxi bit her shoulder. Yan Run pretended to yelp in pain. “Ah! Jie, what was that for?”
“To hit you…” Yu Wenxi frowned, her beautiful brows knitting together. “Serves you right for bullying me.”
Yan Run only laughed, releasing more of her pheromones. Clearly, tonight was not a night for sleeping—she intended to “teach” this ungrateful Omega a proper lesson.
Yan Run’s recovery had been swift, but she wasn’t in a rush to return to the Love Cabin. In front of others, she still felt too embarrassed to be openly affectionate with Yu Wenxi.
However, with fans clamoring for more and the show’s finale approaching, as the daughter of Menghua Video’s founder, she naturally had to think of the company’s bottom line.
“Tonight we’re going back to the Love Cabin. What do you think of this dress?” Yu Wenxi pulled out a floral-print sundress she had been eyeing for a while, her face alight with excitement as she showed it to her wife.
Yan Run let out an admiring “Wow!” Her eyes lit up. “It’s gorgeous.”
No matter what Yu Wenxi wore, Yan Run always found her beautiful—she had never once said otherwise.
Yu Wenxi, however, suspected this cheeky Alpha was just buttering her up again, and she pouted in dissatisfaction.
“Why are we only going back at night?” Yan Run suddenly asked.
In front of the Alpha, Yu Wenxi casually slipped off the clothes she was wearing and put on the dress. The sight made Yan Run’s heart itch all over again.
She had been holding back for so long, and now she could barely contain herself.
As expected, Alphas really were all the same.
She stood up and wrapped her arms around Yu Wenxi from behind, breathing into her ear. “Jie, you look good in anything. But… could you wear something a little more private just for me?”
Yu Wenxi swatted her on the butt in response.
The Alpha only laughed—it didn’t hurt at all.
The floral dress gave Yu Wenxi a delicate, pure look, like a little white blossom. If she tied up her hair, she would be the very image of a campus goddess. Yan Run raised her brows—her wife really was beautiful.
Yu Wenxi smiled. “I have a university class reunion at noon. I need to go.”
Yan Run made a small sound of interest. “Oh? Can I come too?”
Yu Wenxi said, “We can go, but there won’t be anyone you know there. I just didn’t bring it up because I didn’t want you to feel awkward.”
Yan Run was on the quiet side and tended toward social anxiety, so naturally Yu Wenxi wanted to take her feelings into account.
Unexpectedly, Yan Run blinked at her with a hint of grievance. “Who says I don’t know anyone? That classmate of yours—Ah Jian, right? I still have him on WeChat.”
Yu Wenxi froze for a moment before smiling. “Ah Jian is a male Omega. What are you doing with his WeChat?”
Yan Run pressed her lips together, refusing to answer, which only amused Yu Wenxi further. It wasn’t until Yu Wenxi gave a half-playful threat that Yan Run reluctantly mumbled, “He was pretty close to you in college, right? So I asked him for his WeChat and told him to bring you snacks from time to time.”
Yu Wenxi didn’t know whether to laugh or sigh. “You do realize that because he was giving me things, everyone thought he had a crush on me? Can you imagine how ridiculous people found the idea of one Omega liking another? That’s why I stopped talking to him. So… all those treats were from you? Why didn’t he just tell me?”
“I told him not to,” Yan Run replied matter-of-factly. “Didn’t expect him to actually keep it a secret. I really admire the guy.”
Yu Wenxi chuckled. “He’s a loyal friend.”
Yan Run pouted. “So I’m not loyal?”
“We were never friends, were we? How would I know?” Yu Wenxi teased, gently rubbing the jealous Alpha’s chin. Yan Run immediately leaned her jaw on Yu Wenxi’s shoulder, nuzzling at her scent.
“But I just want to go with you. I want to be with you.” Yan Run let out two soft whimpering sounds, like a puppy seeking its owner’s comfort.
Yu Wenxi, of course, also wanted to be with her little troublemaker. After a brief thought, she agreed.
The university Yu Wenxi had attended was a top-tier school, filled with both academic elites and wealthy second-generation heirs. Everyone there was used to seeing the world.
Some even brought their spouses or partners along to mingle and network, hoping to use the reunion as a stepping stone for business opportunities.
Before long, several sharply dressed men in suits began arriving at the hotel’s private dining room, taking their seats one after another.
Within minutes, over a dozen people had gathered.
An Alpha raised his glass in greeting. “It’s been ages, old classmates! Looks like almost everyone’s here.”
A female Omega smiled. “Not everyone—you’re forgetting our campus beauty.”
“You mean the famous actress, Yu Wenxi?” a Beta chimed in with a teasing smirk. “I heard she’s on that romance reality show with the second daughter of the Yan family.” As he spoke, he deliberately glanced at Meng Qieyi, who had just arrived.
Meng Qieyi had gone abroad long ago. When she heard about Yan Run’s recent incident, she decided to stay a bit longer and use the reunion as an excuse to see Yu Wenxi again. Just laying eyes on her was enough to lift her spirits, so she ignored the mocking undertones in everyone else’s words.
“I heard her wife can’t have children.”
“Really? And isn’t the Yan family’s second daughter known as a scummy Alpha? Can you believe Yu Wenxi—someone so lofty—would actually marry her?”
“She might look cold and aloof, but we all know what she’s really like. She can have someone’s legs go weak with just a little flirting.”
“Must be a political marriage, right?”
“I heard from my parents they haven’t even held a wedding yet. Definitely just a business arrangement. And we all know who’s backing that reality show—whether there’s a script or not, the entertainment big shots here don’t need me to explain.”
“That’s enough out of you!” A male Omega in a dark green suit stood abruptly. “We’re all classmates—why talk about her like that? I’m friends with her, I know what kind of person she is.”
“Ye Qingfeng, are you stupid?” The Alpha who had started the gossip frowned. “She doesn’t even want to hang out with you anymore. Why are you still defending her?”
Ye Qingfeng was sensitive by nature, and the jab made his chest tighten with grievance. But before he could respond, a cool, clear voice cut through the room.
“Xiang Hai, have you said enough? Drop it, will you?”
Meng Qieyi’s rebuke carried a sharp edge. Several people turned to look at her, some with sympathetic eyes. She had a decent relationship with a few of their classmates, so naturally she spoke up for Yu Wenxi.
But Xiang Hai had always disliked this seemingly refined Alpha. He gave a cold snort. “What are you, a lapdog?”
The word made Meng Qieyi’s heart jolt. Her fists clenched, but she couldn’t find a rebuttal.
It was true—she liked Yu Wenxi. She had joined the reality show despite her family’s opposition just to see her. She had confessed multiple times, invested not just time but money. And yet, she still couldn’t get so much as a glance of genuine care from her goddess.
Yes. She was a lapdog. A pathetic one.
“What dog? Did someone bring a pet?”
The crisp voice from the doorway drew everyone’s attention. An Alpha in casual attire strolled in, holding her wife’s hand.
The Omega at her side was dressed with unadorned elegance, her beauty luminous and untouched by heavy makeup—like a star without trying. The Alpha, though casually dressed, wore striking red lips and carried herself with the presence of someone born into power, turning heads in envy.
At the sight, Xiang Hai’s face instantly drained of color.
Ye Qingfeng clapped his hands. “Wenxi-jie, you really came! I thought you wouldn’t—and you even brought your little bride.” He shot Yan Run a playful wink, thinking to himself that this lucky guy had finally won the beauty.
Yan Run blinked. So they’d all assumed Yu Wenxi wouldn’t show? Well, it did make sense—given her cold, aloof nature, what would she want with a class reunion?
Meng Qieyi also rose to her feet, but didn’t dare greet them, afraid Yu Wenxi would ignore her.
Yan Run asked quietly, “We’re still filming the romance show. Is it okay to have cameras here?”
