- Chapter 9 - The Cannon Fodder Top in a Rich Family Story (9)
Jiang Henian had actually realized the moment Juezhou snuck into his bathroom. He put on his glasses and silently toyed with the fountain pen in his hand; it wasn’t until Juezhou left that he noticed a garment was missing from the laundry hamper.
Juezhou had a prior record. Back when he used to play Truth or Dare with others, he had stolen Jiang Henian’s clothes before.
Jiang Henian surmised that he might have lost a “Dare” again, so he waited a while before going to find Juezhou to reclaim his shirt.
Young people care about their dignity; if he caught him in the act, Juezhou might get upset.
However, the reality was different from what Jiang Henian had imagined.
The lights in the room were not on, the curtains were drawn, and the lighting was dim—the atmosphere was far too ambiguous.
Jiang Henian’s shirt was a size too large for Juezhou. Moreover, since the top buttons were undone, it hung loosely, revealing the rounded lines of his shoulders. One could even see the sunken curve of his waist through the open collar.
Juezhou liked to bite his lip when he was unhappy, a habit he likely wasn’t even aware of himself. Juezhou’s brows were furrowed, and his pearly white teeth lightly nipped at his fresh, moist lips. Upon seeing Jiang Henian, his originally frustrated expression instantly turned into one of utter panic.
“Zhouzhou,” Jiang Henian said.
Terrified, Juezhou tossed his phone aside, not even noticing that the notification light had flickered a few times.
Jiang Henian remained silent, leaving Juezhou to stare back at him with his legs exposed.
From Jiang Henian’s angle, he could just see a place that rarely saw the light of day. That area was likely the most tender part of Juezhou’s body—it was the kind of spot that would get chafed just from riding a horse.
Juezhou thought Jiang Henian was silently expressing his disgust and dissatisfaction, so he hurriedly grabbed a pair of boxers from nearby and scrambled to put them on. His body had the most flesh in that specific area; the waistband of the boxers got caught on the plumpest part, and he had to tug twice before they went up.
He wasn’t like the “white, young, and thin” types praised online whose legs were as thin as toothpicks; the area leading up to his inner thighs was soft and fleshy.
The elastic band of the boxers constricted him there, leaving a shallow red mark—he was incredibly delicate. Juezhou rubbed the spot and put on a bitter face—his brows knitted together and his eyelashes drooped as he guiltily feigned innocence.
They were both men; there was nothing to be embarrassed about being face-to-face while undressed.
When Juezhou stayed in a dormitory during high school, a group of guys would be bare-chested around each other in the summer. In the whole dorm, only Zhou Chenyu would obediently wear his summer clothes.
Back then, the Protagonist Shou had not yet appeared, and the influence of the “Plot Power” was still weak. Juezhou’s skin hunger wasn’t severe at all; he simply enjoyed physical contact.
Although his skin hunger had worsened now, Juezhou didn’t think there was anything worth being shy about.
…But that was on the premise that he wasn’t wearing the other person’s clothes.
The calm gaze of his respected foster brother made Juezhou feel even more ashamed. The tips of his ears turned a light red, and he wanted nothing more than to bury his head in the quilt again.
Jiang Henian picked up Juezhou’s loungewear from the side and reached out to help him put it on, asking, “Secretly doing bad things again?”
His features were handsome and refined. When he looked down, his nose bridge was high, possessing an elegance that seemed settled in his very bones. His tone was also indifferent, like someone making ordinary small talk.
Juezhou gave a flattering smile: “No way, I’m super well-behaved—”
His pajamas were worn loosely. Despite being a perfectly ordinary style, he wore them in a way that looked dissolute and rakish, with his collarbones protruding.
Jiang Henian tugged at the hem of Juezhou’s top. Juezhou followed the movement, lowering his head to gaze at Jiang Henian’s hand resting on his waist.
The hand, accustomed to holding a pen, had distinct knuckles and was covered in thin calluses. His fingertips brushed against the fabric covering Juezhou’s lower abdomen.
Juezhou shivered at the cool temperature of his fingertips, his back arching slightly, yet he couldn’t help but want to continue being touched.
“Mm…”
Jiang Henian sat down, slowly and gentlemanly stroking the red mark left by the waistband.
His fingertips gradually became warm.
Juezhou trembled slightly, looking at Jiang Henian with watery, red-rimmed eyes.
He practiced extreme self-restraint. He didn’t dare to show an insatiable posture in front of Jiang Henian as he did before his peer, Zhou Chenyu. He kept his head lowered, revealing a small section of his snowy-white nape—exposing his softest vulnerability to the most ferocious hunter.
Jiang Henian’s movements were very restrained. He didn’t make Juezhou unable to stop his tears as he had when Zhou Chenyu touched him; only the corners of his eyes were damp. His heavily bitten lips were also a moist red.
It seemed even his voice was damp.
The mark from the elastic hadn’t faded, and now there were a few more light red traces.
Jiang Henian stopped his movements: “Then what were you doing?”
Juezhou’s chest rose and fell slightly. He unconsciously chased after Jiang Henian’s finger for a rub. “I just wanted to try on Brother’s clothes.”
Jiang Henian released his hand. Juezhou scooted his bottom forward, pressing a dent into the soft mattress.
He carefully observed Jiang Henian’s micro-expressions, sensing that Jiang Henian had other emotions besides anger right now.
The shirt—the evidence of his crime—was gripped in Jiang Henian’s palm. He rubbed it once before letting go. Sensing the body heat lingering on it, he looked up at Juezhou.
The oversized loungewear covered the soft, pink tenderness Jiang Henian had glimpsed moments ago, as well as the slender waist he could easily wrap his arm around. The hem reached the base of his thighs; Juezhou’s knees showed a faint pink tint, and his skin was so fair that the color of his veins was visible.
He was as clean and beautiful as a lifelike doll displayed in a window—one that would be soiled with a single touch.
It would be nice if he stayed as obedient as a doll forever.
But the more rebellious and disobedient he was, the easier it was to stir up the dark desire in others to tarnish him.
While speaking, Jiang Henian squeezed Juezhou’s shoulder:
“Be more obedient. Next time, you can just tell me directly.”
Like always, a serious elder brother educating his younger brother.
Juezhou nodded obediently.
As soon as Jiang Henian left, Juezhou opened his phone to check Xie Wenchen’s reply.
“The Protagonist Shou is truly loathsome; he almost got me scolded,” Juezhou complained. His feet, encased in white socks, rubbed against the bedsheets; his ankles appeared exceptionally slender in contrast.
The System strictly avoided mentioning that Jiang Henian’s anger was actually caused by Juezhou’s attempt to farm “Oppression Points.” It echoed back: [Yes, he really went too far.]
Xie Wenchen had only replied with two words: [Next time].
What did that mean?
Juezhou scratched his head, waiting for the Oppression Points to arrive.
Half a day passed, but the points never came. Instead, Jiang Henian sent a message telling him to come downstairs for dinner.
The table was covered with all of Juezhou’s favorite dishes. As Juezhou chewed, he recalled the matter with Xie Wenchen, feeling both bewildered and perplexed.
How could such an inspirational, gloomy “Little White Flower” type not get angry at him?
Had he already accepted Juezhou’s level of perversion?
Juezhou couldn’t think of any other good ways to torment Xie Wenchen, and he couldn’t bring himself to actually beat him up, so he secretly decided to be even more perverted next time.
To flatter Jiang Henian, Juezhou praised his cooking to high heaven. From the appearance to the taste, he used up every ancient poem and adjective he could think of.
Jiang Henian’s reaction was lukewarm. He lightly tapped the table: “Focus on your meal. After you shower, come to my room for a moment.”
“Okay.”
After dinner, Juezhou showered, played on his phone for a bit, and then went to find Jiang Henian.
Jiang Henian was sitting at his desk. Learning from his last mistake, Juezhou didn’t dare to rashly sit on his lap again and stood obediently by the side.
Instead, Jiang Henian glanced at him: “Sit.”
Juezhou’s reaction was slow; only after a moment did he sit on his brother’s lap.
Jiang Henian paused for a few seconds before wrapping his arm around Juezhou’s waist.
Even through the fabric, Juezhou could feel the scorching heat of Jiang Henian’s palm. He shrank back, leaning against his foster brother’s firm lower abdomen, brushing against an awkward spot.
…While it was soft right now, the sheer scale was impossible to ignore.
To prevent Jiang Henian from seeing him as a pervert, Juezhou scooted forward again.
Jiang Henian applied slight pressure with his fingers, holding down his squirming younger brother: “From now on, come to my room once every day.”
Juezhou was confused: “Huh?”
Jiang Henian opened his neural link computer and clicked “play” on an educational movie: “Learn to be better.”
Juezhou: ???
