- After the Beautiful Young Master's Arranged Marriage, He Was Targeted by His Ex-Boyfriend
- Chapter 5 - Senior Ziheng
It was clear to everyone that Chi Mingzhou was impatient. Originally, there were several more events planned, but after that commotion, the gathering broke up early.
After returning to the country, Chi Mingzhou resided in the Chi family’s ancestral home. With him there, Chi Chen was unable to return to his own residence outside for the time being.
He had had little contact with this “Little Uncle,” knowing only that he had always been held in high regard.
The old patriarch had two sons. While the old man’s care for Chi Mingzhou far exceeded that which he showed his own father, Chi Mingzhou’s capabilities were undeniable, and one had to yield to them. Although his father and Chi Mingzhou were at odds in private, deep down, Chi Chen still admired this Little Uncle.
He cast a sideways glance at Feng Mian, who was sitting beside him, his expression thoughtful.
Feng Mian was using a wet wipe to clean the wine off his face. The woody scent of the wipe mingled with the smell of alcohol, spreading through the car cabin—a fragrance that was quite pleasant and somewhat intoxicating.
Feng Mian was naturally fair and beautiful; now, with his red-rimmed eyes, he looked thoroughly bullied, which only served to stir the hidden desire for violence deep within Chi Chen.
Chi Chen reached out and pinched Feng Mian’s neck, his grip firm but not crushing, and after pulling him closer, he examined the neck carefully.
There was a red mark behind Feng Mian’s ear. Chi Chen reached out to touch it and asked, “How did you get that?”
The light in the car was not bright, and it was already late outside, so Chi Chen couldn’t see clearly.
Feng Mian’s gaze shifted, and he tried his best to appear indifferent as he said, “I was bitten by a mosquito.”
Chi Chen didn’t harbor much suspicion. After all, Feng Mian was very conservative in front of him; judging by his reactions, he was clearly a virgin. He wouldn’t even let Chi Chen touch him, let alone go out and cheat. For the past few days, Feng Mian had been almost entirely under his watchful eye.
He raised his hand, intending to hook open Feng Mian’s collar. Feng Mian was startled and immediately pressed down on his hand.
Feng Mian’s heart was pounding wildly.
Beneath the collar, his neck was covered in hickeys and bite marks. One or two could be brushed off, but if there were too many…
Chi Chen’s expression turned unpleasant after being rejected. He tightened his grip on Feng Mian’s neck, causing the young man to lose his breath and struggle effortfully to push him away.
Watching Feng Mian’s pained expression, Chi Chen said coldly, “What kind of face are you putting on for me? You’ve already been sent over by the Feng family to act as a whore, so why are you still acting all virtuous? You’ll be slept by me sooner or later anyway. I’ve said I don’t like this ‘playing hard to get’ act. You’d better not push me too far!”
Recalling something, he smiled sinisterly, staring at Feng Mian with malicious intent, and muttered quietly, “I don’t want to hear the words ‘fiancée’ again. I don’t know if this was spread by the Feng family or by you. Every debt has its debtor; once I find out, I will deal with them one by one. A plaything is a plaything—don’t yearn for things that are impossible.”
“Feng Mian, you had better pray that this mess doesn’t reach Gu Ziheng’s ears. If he finds out, I’ll strip a layer of skin off you!”
Upon hearing the name “Gu Ziheng,” Feng Mian’s expression froze, and he mumbled, “Senior Ziheng…”
Chi Chen examined him with disdain, looking surprised. “You’re also a graduate of Ning University?”
Recalling the image of the person he held dear, Chi Chen’s expression softened slightly. He raised his hand and patted Feng Mian’s cheek, not too hard but not too gently, and sneered, “I could never marry a man who can’t bear children. Even if I don’t end up marrying a woman, it would be to be with someone I love someone like Ziheng, not you.”
“If you dare to let Ziheng misunderstand, even if you don’t die, you’ll be left with half your life gone!”
