- After Teasing the Crazy Mermaid, He Actually Deceived Me into Marriage
- Chapter 82 - The Bonding Vow
A flash of white light suddenly shimmered, and strange golden patterns, like thorns, pierced deep into her bones.
Si Tang felt a searing pain spread from her fingertips to every limb, a trembling agony that seemed etched into her very soul.
“Mmm.” Unable to suppress her trembling, Si Tang was pulled into Fan Yi’s embrace.
His arms wrapped tightly around her, as if trying to meld her into his very flesh and blood. Then, his gentle fingers caressed her face with tender affection. In her blurred vision, she saw his soft gaze, and on his strikingly beautiful face, the white floral vine between his brows glowed with a holy, faint light.
Under the strange, shuddering sensation, Si Tang couldn’t endure it any longer and was on the verge of fainting. As her consciousness faded, she seemed to hear a deep, laughter-laced voice.
“You can’t run away now, Tang Tang.”
As the words fell, a shadow leaned over her, and her lips met a soft, cool touch. Immediately, the instigator skillfully deepened the kiss with practiced ease.
Si Tang trembled with rage, but she had no strength left and collapsed into Fan Yi’s arms.
At that moment, Si Tang was utterly certain of his ill intentions.
His talk of love was nothing but a lie!
This was the final thought that surfaced in Si Tang’s mind before everything went dark.
The night was deep, and a cruise ship drifted in a desolate stretch of sea.
The ocean was silent, with only the moonlight hanging in the sky, casting silhouettes upon the water’s surface.
When Si Tang awoke from her muddled consciousness, her body felt an unprecedented sense of relief and ease. She was no longer in the bathroom but lying on the large bed in the bedroom. Her damp clothes had been replaced with a strappy nightgown, and without the constraint of a bra, she felt even more humiliated and furious.
Her gaze fell upon the endless sea outside the porthole, shrouded in the deep night, as if woven with a black mist that blanketed the entire ocean.
Under the covers, a powerful arm was wrapped possessively around her waist. Behind her, a cool breath still lingered against the side of her neck clearly, it was that merman who had deceived her.
All that talk of love, all that agreement to bond it was all his lies!
A sense of helplessness and anger at being deceived overwhelmed her, and an unknown panic made her body tremble lightly.
Fan Yi easily detected her awakening.
His grip around her waist tightened, and his cool kisses brushed against the hollow of her neck, lingering there. His soft, snow-white long hair cascaded over her shoulder as he spoke in a husky voice. “Tang Tang.”
“What did you make me sign?” Her voice was hoarse. She already knew the answer but stubbornly asked again.
“You already know,” he propped himself up on his arm, looking down at her. His blue eyes curved with unrestrained delight, showing no trace of remorse. “What you signed wasn’t a follower’s contract it was the Bonding Vow. Our souls are now engraved in the divine scroll, forever inseparable.”
Moonlight streamed in through the porthole, casting a dark red hue on the rose petals in the room, making his face appear enchantingly stunning yet tainted with a sinister, obsessive possessiveness.
Si Tang’s throat felt dry, and she choked back her words. Seeing his utterly shameless expression, she finally couldn’t hold back her outburst. “You lied to me! I never agreed to bond with you, and I never loved you!”
She wanted to call him shameless, to curse him for deceiving her into thinking they were in love, all without a hint of guilt.
He had stooped to any means necessary!
“Shh.” He didn’t get angry, instead lowering his head with seemingly good temper. Ignoring Si Tang’s attempts to evade him, he firmly covered her lips, kissing her again and again. “What does it matter? You will in the future.”
Si Tang: “…”
His eyes told her he had already made up his mind.
Si Tang began to deeply regret ever provoking this mad fish on the island!
Yes, having just woken up startled, she had already recalled everything in her dream.
“Tang Tang, didn’t you say you had quite a fondness for me?” He held her tightly, not letting go, pressing his forehead against hers in an intimate gesture.
Si Tang couldn’t help but close her eyes.
How dare he bring that up!
And he had pretended for over a month should she praise him for that?
Si Tang now had no choice but to resign herself to fate. The situation was already set in stone. Whether it was relentless haunting or unwavering devotion, seemed no longer important.
He suddenly lifted his head, his fingertips lightly brushing her slightly swollen lips, his words seemingly casual.
“What? Now that Táng Táng remembers everything, do you no longer like me?”
He actually knew!
Si Tang was shocked that he had seen through everything, aware that she had regained her memories, and even more infuriated by his shamelessness.
“Let go of me, I can’t breathe.”
Hearing this, Fan Yi relaxed his grip slightly, his fingertips still gently caressing her face before sliding into her hair, twirling her dark locks, unable to let go.
Si Tang looked out the window. Above the sea, only moonlight remained, with not a single ship passing or stopping in sight.
“Where are you taking me? Since you’ve already achieved your goal, shouldn’t we go back?” Si Tang composed herself and asked calmly.
“Not yet.” Fan Yi suddenly stood up, lifting Si Tang into his arms in a princess carry.
Knowing she couldn’t resist, Si Tang wrapped her arms around his neck. Fan Yi carried her out of the room and down to the hall, a slight smile playing on his lips as he spoke.
“In three days, the ship will dock. Until then, I just want to stay with Tang Tang in a world with no one else.”
His words overflowed with a strong sense of possessiveness.
Leaning against his chest, Si Tang realized just how tall he was nearly 190 cm, making her own 165 cm height seem petite in comparison.
He wore matching pajamas with her, the V-neck revealing his jade-white collarbones. His snow-white hair cascaded down his back, and his deep blue eyes were clear and profound. Through the light blue silk fabric, the contours of his lean chest and abdomen were outlined. With such masculine beauty before her, Si Tang couldn’t help but blush, forced to admit that his appearance was utterly flawless and hit every one of her aesthetic preferences.
As she pondered and observed, he brought her to a dining table, which was inexplicably laden with fine wine and delicacies. The crystal chandelier shone as bright as daylight, and in the empty, uninhabited space, only the two of them embraced quietly.
He sat her down at the table, his left arm still wrapped around her shoulder, and suddenly grabbed her wrist, placing her hand on his chest. A faint smile graced his lips as he looked down at her.
“Do you like it?”
Si Tang hadn’t expected her thoughts to be so easily read.
She couldn’t help the slight blush on the tips of her ears, averting her gaze from his enchanting, otherworldly face.
He then picked up the utensils and began to feed her.
“We have plenty of time to get to know each other. After you finish eating, I’ll let you touch me however you like,” he said in a gentle, amused tone.
Si Tang: “…”
“I want to eat by myself,” Si Tang said, feeling quite uncomfortable, it was as if she were a baby.
She reached out to take the spoon from his hand.
FanYi moved his hand away.
“You can eat by yourself, but you have to give me a kiss first,” he shamelessly stated with a light tone.
He truly knew how to play his cards right.
Si Tang: “…”
She really wanted to smash the bowl right into his face.
