- After Teasing the Crazy Mermaid, He Actually Deceived Me into Marriage
- Chapter 56 - Restless Possessiveness
Si Tang’s focus was entirely on the leaked design drafts, paying little attention to Fan Yi’s unusual behavior.
With the collaboration with the He Corporation approaching, she needed to investigate the matter as soon as possible.
After receiving Fan Yi’s response, she headed to the study and worked tirelessly through the afternoon.
Basement.
Fan Yi leaned back on the sofa, his gaze fixed on the screen for a long time.
He had been watching Si Tang for as long as she had been working, like a stone statue yearning for its beloved.
Beside him, the trident, which had reverted to its original form, trembled in fear.
Fan Yi’s hair was still disguised as short, jet-black locks, but his deep blue eyes could no longer conceal the restless possessiveness brewing in his heart.
“You are mine, Tang Tang.” His blue eyes brimmed with obsessive infatuation, mixed with unresolved anger and jealousy. Staring at Si Tang, who was diligently working on the screen, he muttered resentfully, “Why are you smiling at others?”
The trident silently observed Fan Yi, who seemed to be talking to himself like a split personality while fixated on Si Tang on the screen.
Falling in love truly made gods more neurotically blind and terrifying.
After all, it couldn’t be sure whether Fan Yi would go mad and destroy the entire world in the next second.
The primitive, beastly instinct to possess fermented in his heart. Under the dim light, Fan Yi’s blue eyes were no longer the picture of serene elegance.
Night fell silently.
After a long afternoon of work, Si Tang returned to her room and fell into a deep, heavy slumber.
The cold-toned moonlight slipped through a gap in the curtains, quietly illuminating the young woman on the bed.
She seemed trapped in a dream, drenched in sweat, her jade-white skin flushed with an unnatural rosy hue.
Her lips parted slightly as she gasped for breath, like a delicate flower trembling on a snow-covered branch, exuding an aura of pure desire waiting to be plucked.
Unnoticed by anyone, a sticky, bone-piercing gaze, like a spider’s web, enveloped Si Tang from the shadows of the unlit corner.
Fan Yi emerged from the darkness.
He gazed down at Si Tang for a long time, his deep blue eyes resembling a prison of abyssal shadows, exuding an eerie, ghostly aura as if steeped in thick fog.
He retrieved a fragment of the Main God’s divine artifact from his spatial storage, and a faint ice-blue light gently enveloped the young woman.
In the next moment, the slight furrow in her brow gradually relaxed, and her rapid breathing steadied.
The air conditioning in the room was set quite low.
Yet, the young woman, feverish from her chaotic dreams, had one of her fair, slender legs resting outside the blanket.
Suddenly, a long, jade-like hand reached out from the shadows and clasped her ankle.
The icy coldness of his touch made her instinctively shrink back.
His fingertips traced and measured the circumference of her ankle, as if marking his territory.
“How I wish.” Fan Yi’s fingers gently brushed against her slender ankle, his voice low and obscure, his gaze dark and unreadable. “to tie you to a world where only I exist.”
After a long silence, Fan Yi released her ankle and tucked it back under the blanket.
No one knew what the obsessive deity was thinking at that moment.
Then, he lifted his head, and the moonlight illuminated the expression on his face. He smiled faintly, but his eyes held a terrifying, bone-chilling possessiveness.
“Tang Tang, I want to kiss you,” he said naturally, as if speaking to Si Tang in her sleep.
He knew he would receive no response, and he didn’t care in the slightest.
His long, pale fingers slowly reached toward the young woman, like entwining vines stretching out in the dark of night.
He tenderly brushed her soft cheek, then traced his fingers over her smooth, relaxed brow.
Fan Yi knew that no matter what he did now, Si Tang wouldn’t wake up.
In the darkness of the night, he finally let out a soft chuckle. Pinching the young girl’s chin with two fingers, he lowered his head and kissed her.
First, his tongue swept through the seam of her lips, as if savoring the taste. Then, driven by an urgent desire for more, he forced the sleeping girl to accept his deep kiss.
In the silence of the late night, the ambiguous sound of panting narrated a suppressed affection.
Si Tang felt as if she had fallen into some kind of terrifying trap.
In her dream, she had just endured the obsessive entanglement of a mermaid, only to be dragged the next moment into a desolate realm. There, the “person” before her subjected her to endless confinement and kisses. Her entire body felt weak and powerless, leaving her unable to resist or even wake up.
In the living room, 8856, who had been on high alert for any sign of Fan Yi’s madness, finally saw the upstairs bedroom door open after a long wait.
The locked door meant nothing to a god. Fan Yi stepped out and locked it again.
8856’s expression suddenly turned extremely peculiar.
After staring for a few seconds at Fan Yi’s satisfied expression and his unnaturally crimson lips, 8856 thought: Lord Fan Yi has done something wicked! Well, well, well, you’ve truly mastered how to use the Chief God’s divine artifact!
He turned his head away, covering his face, unable to bear watching any longer.
Fan Yi paid no mind to what he was thinking.
Strolling leisurely downstairs, his deep blue eyes had already reverted to their disguised jet-black color.
The next day, when Si Tang woke up, she felt a faint, stinging pain on her lips and let out a soft hiss.
Although she hadn’t been startled awake by nightmares last night, she had experienced an even more terrifying dream one from which she couldn’t break free no matter how hard she tried.
Si Tang got up and went to the bathroom. When she saw her reflection in the mirror, her lips were red and swollen, and she was completely stunned.
Was it a mosquito bite? An allergic reaction or inflammation?
How unlucky.
Feeling speechless, Si Tang went downstairs.
As soon as she reached the bottom, she encountered Fan Yi’s gentle and handsome face. He seemed to be in an exceptionally good mood, completely free of the gloom that had clouded him the day before.
“Tangtang, you’re awake? I just finished making breakfast. Let’s eat,” he said.
Si Tang looked at Fan Yi, touched her swollen lips, and mumbled a response before walking to the dining table and sitting down.
Fan Yi eagerly served her a bowl of porridge, his gaze so tender it seemed to drip with warmth.
Si Tang couldn’t shake the feeling that his mood was excessively cheerful today so much so that it felt somewhat eerie.
“Did something good happen today?” Si Tang asked curiously as she sipped her porridge.
Nearby, 8856 kept his head down, avoiding the one-sided “sweet intimacy” emanating from Lord Fan Yi.
“Hmm… Nothing much. I was thinking of visiting your company today to see how the design for that raw stone from last time is coming along,” Fan Yi changed the subject, feigning seriousness.
“It’s almost done. You can come with me to the company tomorrow to take a look,” Si Tang replied, thinking it was indeed time to show the outside world their “affectionate” relationship.
“Do you have any plans for today?” Fan Yi asked, his voice unconsciously rising as his lips tightened.
Without thinking, Si Tang answered, “I have an appointment with my psychologist at the clinic today.”
“What’s wrong?” Fan Yi asked, instinctively growing tense.
“Nothing. I just feel like I’ve been having some unrealistic illusions lately,” Si Tang replied with a bitter smile, not elaborating further.
Unable to get more information, Fan Yi fell silent. Yet, the deep blue in his jet-black eyes seemed to swirl thoughtfully.
After breakfast, Si Tang left the house and drove toward the scheduled appointment at the psychological clinic.
As soon as Si Tang left, 8856 saw Lord Fan Yi immediately stand up and walk out.
8856 followed with a weary heart.
Lord Fan Yi was practically a wife-obsessed maniac.
