After My Nemesis Discovered My Cross-dressing - Chapter 22
Qin Yue’s lips pressed down almost violently, carrying the weight of a long-suppressed, searing desire. Gu Qian’s mind went blank. Feeling a sharp nip from the man, he instinctively parted his lips in a sharp intake of breath.
A hot tongue seized the opportunity to wedge past his teeth and drive deep. Tasting the rich aroma of wine, it swirled even more fiercely and wantonly through his mouth. Gu Qian finally snapped back to his senses and immediately kissed back, refusing to be outdone.
Both were inexperienced in kissing, causing their teeth to clash frequently, yet neither was willing to yield an inch. Soon, the breath Gu Qian had been holding was spent. Not yet knowing how to catch his breath during a kiss, he instinctively reached up, grabbing the man’s dark hair and pulling back to reclaim his air.
Instead of letting go, Qin Yue reached out his other hand and clamped it firmly against the back of Gu Qian’s neck, forcing him to endure an even more intense kiss. It was not until a soft whimper escaped from their joined lips and Gu Qian’s vision began to darken that he gathered his resolve and bit down hard on the tongue teasing him.
Qin Yue let out a muffled groan. The faint taste of blood bloomed between their lips, and the stimulus made the veins in his temples throb. Gu Qian pushed against his chest to create space, stabilized his breathing, and then reached up to strip the man of his suit jacket.
Qin Yue cooperated with the movements, teasing in a raspy voice, “In such a hurry, President Gu?”
“Shut up,” Gu Qian cursed, his trembling fingertips continuing to undo the buttons of the man’s shirt.
But Qin Yue lacked that kind of patience. Like a beast released from its cage, he pinned Gu Qian beneath him and kissed those swollen, bitten lips once more. Gu Qian’s bathrobe had long since fallen open. He used his knees to nudge apart the man’s long, straight legs. His slightly rough fingers massaged upward along the calves; his fingertips felt as though they were being sucked into the smooth, delicate skin of the thighs.
It was so soft, so smooth, and so tender, far more addictive than the textures he had imagined while looking at the photos. Dizzied by the kissing, Gu Qian turned his face away with difficulty and panted, “Enough, just get on with it.”
Qin Yue bit into the tender flesh of his neck, his breath scorching: “Are you sure, Qiqi, you can handle it?”
“Too much nonsense.” With a roll, Gu Qian flipped their positions. He sat astride the firm, sturdy thighs, leaning down to tug at the leather belt around the man’s waist.
Qin Yue’s large hand reached beneath the bathrobe, encountering warmth and slickness. His already boiling blood rushed to his brain, and a layer of crimson instantly clouded his deep, dark eyes. Gu Qian tried to control the pace, but the process was long and grueling. Qin Yue gripped that slender waist, gritting his teeth in endurance, but eventually, he could not help but lend a hand.
Gu Qian’s brow furrowed, and his usually cold amber pupils grew hazy. His curses became fragmented and broken. Those long, beautiful hands pressed against hard pectoral muscles. His pale back arched, and his head tilted back; the line of his slender neck looked like a taut harp string, exquisite yet fragile.
Before long, Gu Qian was covered in a thin layer of sweat, his palms so damp they kept slipping as he tried to brace himself. Qin Yue wedged his large hand between Gu Qian’s fingers, interlocking them intimately. His hard knuckles rubbed and pressed against Gu Qian’s fingers repeatedly, as if he would never tire.
The next morning, when Gu Qian was woken by his biological clock, the first sensation his brain registered was pain. His head ached, his waist ached, his legs ached, and a certain unspeakable area was swollen and throbbing. He took a sharp breath as the memories of the previous night flooded back.
After the first time, which he had initiated, he went to the bathroom to wash up. The man had followed him in, insisting on squeezing under the showerhead together. While washing, Qin Yue claimed he had not performed well enough just then. Half-coaxing and half-forcing, he turned Gu Qian around and pinned him against the wet tiles.
Later, he was carried back to the bed, but the long night was far from over. Gu Qian exercised regularly and had lean muscle; he considered his stamina decent. However, he had not expected the gap between him and his partner to be this vast. At one point last night, he almost thought Qin Yue was trying to kill him to avenge the previously stolen project.
His slightly raspy voice had carried a rare sob, nearly reaching a breaking point: “Qin Yue, are you even human?”
But Qin Yue’s eyes were completely bloodshot. His hands clamped onto Gu Qian’s waist, refusing to let him escape even an inch, as he wickedly demanded over and over: “Can I do it? Tell me, can I do it or not, hm?”
Gu Qian closed his eyes, driving the absurd and chaotic images from his mind. After a long while, he sat up in bed and struggled to pick up the discarded bathrobe. The moment his toes touched the floor, his legs buckled, and he nearly collapsed onto the carpet. Fortunately, he caught himself on the nightstand. Steadying himself, he looked back at the man sleeping soundly on the large bed and mouthed a silent curse: “Dog.”
He did not know how long the man had been holding back, but last night, it had all been unleashed on him. He scanned the room; suit jackets and shirts were strewn messily across the carpet, and the trash can held several items filled with white liquid. Gu Qian did not bother to count how many there were. His only relief was that they had used protection throughout the night; otherwise, he truly would have been finished today.
Gu Qian hobbled toward the bathroom on trembling legs. Inside, he took a quick rinse and changed into a fresh bathrobe. He walked out and met the eyes of the man now sitting up against the headboard. Qin Yue stared at him fixedly, wearing the satisfied smile of a beast that had eaten its fill: “Good morning, Qiqi.”
Gu Qian did not respond. He walked slowly to the wardrobe and took out his suit. Qin Yue got out of bed with only a towel wrapped around his waist. He walked up behind him and circled Gu Qian’s waist with his strong arms: “Why aren’t you talking to me, Qiqi?”
Gu Qian answered with a different topic: “I’m going to the office.”
Qin Yue let out a low chuckle, his tone suggestive: “You still have the energy for work today? It seems I did not work hard enough last night.”
Gu Qian: “…”
Before he could start scolding, Qin Yue quickly added: “Can’t you take a leave and rest for a day?”
Gu Qian countered: “Who would I ask for leave from?”
“Right, you’re the CEO, you call the shots.” Qin Yue rubbed his nose against Gu Qian’s cheek. “I called room service. Sleep a bit longer, and let’s have breakfast together?”
Gu Qian broke free from the embrace: “You go back to sleep. I’m going to the office.”
Qin Yue was slightly stunned. He could not understand how the person who had been so proactive atop him last night could revert to such a cold attitude upon waking. After a brief thought, he assumed Gu Qian was just shy and stepped back, sitting on the edge of the bed.
Gu Qian had intended to change in the bathroom, but realizing they had already seen every inch of each other, he felt there was no need to be coy. With his back to Qin Yue, he untied the bathrobe. As the white robe hit the floor, Qin Yue’s gaze darkened instantly.
Gu Qian’s pale shoulders were covered in red marks that stretched down to his beautiful shoulder blades. Below that was a slender yet resilient waist, marked on both sides by distinct finger imprints that had turned bruised and purple overnight, standing out vividly against his cool, white skin.
Further down, Qin Yue awkwardly averted his gaze, trying to suppress a certain someone that was already stirring so early in the morning. By the time he regained his composure, Gu Qian had already put on his shirt and trousers, covering the unsightly marks completely. He then moved to the full-length mirror, meticulously tying his tie.
Through the mirror, Qin Yue watched those nimble fingers, but what appeared in his mind was the image of those same hands tearing open his own tie and belt. At first, he had not dared to show his obsession with those hands. It was not until the latter half of the night, when Gu Qian’s consciousness was fading, that he had cradled those hands and kissed them from palm to fingertip, including the tiny red mole between the fingers of the ring finger.
Gu Qian buttoned his suit jacket and adjusted his cuffs. Turning around, he was once again the unapproachable President Gu.
Qin Yue snapped out of it: “My assistant is on the way. Let me change, and I’ll drive you to the office.”
“No need,” Gu Qian replied flatly. “I’ve already called my driver.”
Qin Yue did not push it, only saying, “Then I’ll pick you up after work. Dinner tonight?”
Gu Qian was silent for a moment before replying, “President Qin, I think we should maintain our distance just as we did before.”
Qin Yue’s expression darkened: “What do you mean?”
Gu Qian met his gaze, his tone very calm: “Shengtai and Universal Group have always been in a competitive relationship. As the decision-makers for two competing companies, it’s only normal for us to keep our distance, isn’t it?”
The CEOs of two rival companies ending up in the same bed would cause an earthquake if leaked. This was exactly why Gu Qian chose this method to silence Qin Yue; from the moment they slept together, they both held a major leverage over the other.
Qin Yue’s brow relaxed: “I see what you mean. I did not consider that carefully enough.”
Gu Qian gave an affirmative sound and picked up his phone from the table: “I’m leaving.”
Qin Yue leaned back on the bed and smiled: “No parting kiss before you go?”
“No.” Without looking back, Gu Qian opened the door and left the room.
Qin Yue narrowed his eyes slightly, feeling something was amiss. Why did it feel as though Gu Qian was like a scumbag who ran away after a one-night stand, leaving him there the moment he put his pants back on? Qin Yue was amused by his own absurd thought. He shook his head and got up to take a shower.
Twenty minutes later, Assistant Fang knocked on the hotel door. Qin Yue had just finished his shower and opened the door. Assistant Fang’s eyes widened for a second before he immediately looked down, not daring to glance at his boss’s exposed chest. If he had not seen wrong, the fresh red scratches on those full pectoral muscles were newly made.
Qin Yue changed into his suit. Another knock came from the door: “Hello, room service.”
Assistant Fang walked over to open it: “President Qin, did you call for room service?”
Qin Yue was fastening his cufflinks and replied casually, “Yes. Settle the bill.”
“No need, sir. Your room service has already been paid for,” the waiter replied with a smile.
Qin Yue’s movements paused, and he said nothing more. Assistant Fang sent the waiter away and turned back to ask tentatively, “President Qin, you”
“Don’t ask anything.” Qin Yue fixed his hair. “Let’s go. Back to the office.”
Assistant Fang: “Yes, President Qin.”
For the entire day, Gu Qian experienced what it meant to be unable to sit or stand comfortably. Although he knew he would suffer, and had specifically prepared beforehand, he had ultimately underestimated the other man’s size and animalistic nature.
Assistant Liang watched Gu Qian’s expression while reporting and asked out of concern, “President Gu, are you feeling unwell?”
Gu Qian leaned his forehead against his hand: “I’m fine. Continue.”
“Yes, President Gu.” Assistant Liang complied and dutifully finished the rest of his report.
The office door closed, and Gu Qian let out a breath, carefully adjusting his sitting position. He could not help but curse inwardly again: “That donkey.”
Finally reaching the end of the workday, Gu Qian did not want to spend another second in his office chair. He stood up and walked toward the door. The secretaries in the office were startled to see him. Meng Siyao also asked in surprise, “President Gu, you’re leaving work this early today?”
“Mn.” Gu Qian gave a slight nod. “You guys head home early too once you’re finished.”
“Great! President Gu has finally abandoned his ‘work the employees to death’ plan,” Meng Siyao said excitedly. “I’ll head home as soon as I finish this spreadsheet!”
Gu Qian glanced at him and continued walking. Meng Siyao followed him in a few large strides, lowering his voice in concern: “But Brother Qian, you look terrible today. Are you sick?”
“I’m not sick,” Gu Qian replied in as normal a voice as possible. “I just did not rest well last night.”
“As long as you’re not sick.” Meng Siyao felt relieved and joked, “If you collapse from exhaustion, our Shengtai Group is finished.”
Gu Qian’s pace faltered slightly. He glanced at him sideways: “Do you truly think Shengtai can’t function without me?”
“Is there even a doubt?” Meng Siyao spoke as if it were a matter of fact. “The old man is a hands-off boss, and I don’t know anything. It would be a miracle if Shengtai survived without you.”
Gu Qian pressed the elevator button: “If you don’t know anything, then learn well.”
“I am learning, I am learning,” Meng Siyao brushed him off with a grin. “Anyway, since you’re here, I can take my time.”
Gu Qian lowered his eyelashes, concealing the look in his eyes.
Upon arriving home, the first thing Gu Qian did was shower and change into pajamas. He then lay down on his stomach, finally feeling a bit more comfortable. After some time, just as he was drifting off, the phone on the nightstand vibrated twice. Gu Qian reached for the phone with half-closed eyes. He woke up a bit more when he saw the WeChat message.
Qin Yue: “Off work yet?”
Qin Yue: “I won’t come to Shengtai to find you. Tell me a location, and I’ll pick you up, okay?”
Gu Qian: “I’m home.”
Qin Yue: “Then I’ll come to your house?”
Qin Yue clicked send and walked out of the hospital entrance carrying a large bag of medicine. Throughout the day, as he repeatedly reminisced, he realized that he had not controlled himself the night before and had asked for too many rounds. He had searched for information online, but found it unreliable. So, after work, he went to the hospital, registered for an appointment, and had an old traditional doctor prescribe some medicine.
The old doctor had also given him a serious piece of advice: “Young man, you must learn moderation. The road ahead is long.”
Qin Yue nodded humbly: “Yes, Dr. Zhong, I understand.”
On the other end of the screen, Gu Qian was lying on his pillow, his finger poking at the input box forcefully.
Gu Qian: “What are you coming to see me for?”
Gu Qian: “Didn’t you get enough sleep last night?”
The other side was silent for a moment, then the phone suddenly began to vibrate continuously. After a few seconds of hesitation, Gu Qian answered the call. The man’s deep voice came through the line, mixed with the whistling sound of the wind: “Gu Qian, what do you mean?”
“You’ve been asking me that since last night,” Gu Qian replied coldly. “I’m more curious to know, what do you mean?”
“I” Qin Yue paused. “Answer me first. Why did you sleep with me last night?”
Gu Qian did not answer the obvious question. He said nonchalantly, “We’re all adults. We each got what we needed. Just treat it as a one-night stand.”
Qin Yue repeated each word slowly: “A. One. Night. Stand?”
Gu Qian pursed his lips. Was there any other way to define their madness last night?
“Qiqi, I don’t think you understand at all what I want.” Qin Yue’s voice was low and slow, as if suppressing some emotion. “What if what I want isn’t a one-night stand?”
Gu Qian frowned: “Do you want to be long-term ‘friends with benefits’?”
The person on the other side seemed to laugh out of anger, repeating like a broken record: “Long-term friends with benefits?”
Gu Qian gripped his phone tightly, worried that the man was being serious. Objectively speaking, Qin Yue was gifted in all aspects, especially his incredibly fast learning speed, so it was not as if Gu Qian had not enjoyed himself last night. But too much of a good thing turned into torture, especially since that part of him still hurt.
After a suffocating silence, Qin Yue spoke again: “Give me your address.”
Gu Qian refused: “You don’t need to come. I’m going to sleep.”
“Not saying you want to be long-term ‘friends with benefits’?” Qin Yue chuckled on the other end, his tone chilling. “I was not satisfied enough last night. Let’s continue tonight.”
Gu Qian: “?”
President Qin: “Now tell me, can I do it or not?”
Qiqi: “You’re not human”
