After My Nemesis Discovered My Cross-dressing - Chapter 21
Gu Qian sat in his office chair, a fountain pen held between his slender fingers. His pale amber eyes were hidden behind gold-rimmed glasses, his expression one of complete indifference.
Qin Yue stared at him, walking slowly toward the desk. Like a beast that had discovered its prey, he seemed to be taking a leisurely stroll, but in reality, he was looking for the perfect moment to pounce and bite the back of the prey’s neck.
Gu Qian did not avoid his gaze, asking calmly, “To what do I owe the honor of CEO Qin’s uninvited visit?”
Qin Yue stopped, leaning his hands on the desk with a half-smile. “To see Qiqi in person is truly as difficult as reaching the heavens.”
Those dark, deep eyes were locked onto the beautiful yet cold face, conveying a strangely dangerous message.
“I am sorry, but I do not understand what you are talking about,” Gu Qian raised his eyes slightly. “If CEO Qin has nothing else, please leave.”
Qin Yue leaned down slightly, bringing his gaze level with Gu Qian’s. “Do not be so quick to sentence me to death. Can you give me a chance to explain?”
“I think CEO Qin has the wrong person,” Gu Qian replied coldly. “I am not familiar with CEO Qin, nor do I need any explanation.”
“I admit that when I first added you on WeChat, it was with the intention of prying into secrets,” Qin Yue ignored his resistant attitude and explained of his own accord. “But things are different now. I deeply regret not confessing my identity to you sooner.”
Gu Qian’s fingers tightened slightly against his thigh, but he maintained a perfect smile. “Even if we both know the truth, what can you do to me if I refuse to admit it, CEO Qin?”
Qin Yue narrowed his eyes. The next moment, he stood up abruptly and strode around the desk.
Before Gu Qian could react, his chair was jerked around to face the floor-to-ceiling window, and the fountain pen fell to the floor with a snap. Qin Yue pushed Gu Qian’s legs apart with his knee and braced his hands on both armrests, trapping him in that small space within seconds.
Gu Qian’s pupils shrank. The woody scent of the man’s warmth invaded his senses. He instinctively tried to retreat, but his back hit the cold chair.
“We have been chatting almost every day for so long. I thought our relationship was already intimate,” Qin Yue looked down at him, his tone full of resentment. “Qiqi, you truly turn your back on people the moment things change.”
The distance between them was so close that Gu Qian could feel the vibration in the man’s chest when he spoke. However, he did not show weakness, instead straightening his back. “Move.”
Qin Yue did not retreat. His gaze lingered from the tense jawline down to the snow-white neck. He said pointedly, “Is it not uncomfortable to have your shirt buttoned so tightly?”
Gu Qian furrowed his brows, his voice turning icy. “If you do not move, I will call security.”
Qin Yue suddenly let out a laugh, released the armrests, and his large hand slowly moved downward. His hot palm brushed against the ankle wrapped in a sock, and his fingertips traced upward through the gap of the suit trousers. “CEO Gu, let me guess. Are there black silk stockings hidden underneath?”
Gu Qian was wearing black formal dress socks today. The heat from the man’s fingertips penetrated the thin layer, causing his calf to tremble involuntarily. Qin Yue stared at him. That face, usually cold as ice, was now flushed with shame and annoyance, making him so beautiful it was hard to look away.
In the next second, Gu Qian pulled his leg back and kicked him hard. “Get out!”
Qin Yue’s reaction was fast. He grabbed the slender ankle and pressed it against his sturdy thigh, his lips curling up. “Sorry, I forgot. Qiqi does not like wearing black silk; he only likes wearing pretty dresses.”
Gu Qian’s lips were pressed tight, his chest rising and falling with his breath. The two remained in a deadlock, one sitting in the chair and the other kneeling on one knee. The air in the office was nearly stagnant.
Two knocks sounded, and Assistant Liang’s voice came faintly from outside. “CEO Gu.”
Qin Yue slowly arched his body; the lurking beast finally pounced on its prey. His hot breath brushed past Gu Qian’s ear, making the sensitive earlobe turn so red it looked like it might bleed. He heard the man whisper, “CEO Gu, you would not want the secret of your cross-dressing to be discovered by your subordinate, right?”
The color drained from Gu Qian’s face. His thick, dark eyelashes trembled like the wings of an uneasy butterfly. Qin Yue looked at the face that rarely showed a hint of vulnerability, and his heart felt as if it had been pinched hard.
He was about to say he was joking, but Gu Qian interrupted him. “Assistant Liang has something for me. We will talk later.”
Qin Yue was easily pleased by the word “we” and released his hold. “Okay, we will talk later.” He straightened up and thoughtfully turned the chair back.
Gu Qian adjusted his glasses and straightened his wrinkled suit jacket before speaking. “Come in.”
Assistant Liang pushed the door open and immediately saw the man standing behind CEO Gu. Qin Yue seemed to be in a good mood, or at least his expression was much better than when he arrived. He greeted the assistant as if he were the host. “Assistant Liang, is something wrong?”
Assistant Liang instinctively looked at CEO Gu for his approval. Gu Qian gave a small nod. “Speak.”
“This is the information you requested this morning. It has been organized,” Assistant Liang walked to the desk and placed the documents down. “Also, there is this project cooperation proposal on top for your review.”
“Good.” Gu Qian picked up the information, looked at it, and set it aside.
Assistant Liang asked, “Then, CEO Gu, I will head out now?”
Gu Qian: “Go on.”
After Assistant Liang left, Qin Yue leaned over from behind, encircling both Gu Qian and the chair. “CEO Gu, can we continue?”
Gu Qian was silent for a moment before asking, “Qin Yue, what do you actually want?”
Qin Yue rested one hand on his shoulder, his lips inadvertently brushing past his hair. His voice was deep and seductive. “Does Qiqi really not know what I want?”
Gu Qian closed his eyes. When he opened them again, he seemed to have made a decision. “Fine, I understand.”
Qin Yue caught the faint, pleasant scent on his body and felt a bit distracted. “Is that so?”
Gu Qian turned his face away slightly. “I still have work to handle.”
Qin Yue suddenly remembered something and pulled his phone out of his suit trousers. “Let us add each other back on WeChat first.”
Gu Qian picked up his phone from the desk, unlocked it, went into WeChat, and let him scan the code. Qin Yue scanned the code and clicked to add him as a friend in one smooth motion. “Accept it, Qiqi.”
Under his urging, Gu Qian accepted the friend request and then reminded him, “Do not call me Qiqi anymore.”
Qin Yue leaned against the desk. “Why can I not call you Qiqi?”
“Because that is my nickname on the streaming platform,” Gu Qian replied calmly. “I do not want people to associate it with me.”
“Then what should I call you?” Qin Yue tapped the desk, thinking seriously. “How about I call you CEO Gu in public and Qiqi when we are alone?”
Gu Qian lowered his eyelashes. “As you wish.”
Qin Yue put away his phone and stepped back with a smile. “Then, CEO Gu, I will stop disturbing your work.”
The office door closed again. Gu Qian’s tense back suddenly relaxed, and he leaned back against the chair. Outside, Assistant Liang watched Qin Yue leave and said politely, “Goodbye, CEO Qin.”
Qin Yue returned to Universal Group at quitting time, returning every greeting from employees with a charming smile. When Assistant Fang saw his boss looking so radiant, the heart that had been in his throat for the past two days finally returned to its place.
“CEO Qin,” Assistant Fang trotted to keep up with his boss. “Did everything go smoothly?”
Qin Yue glanced at him. “I will consider your fault redeemed.”
Assistant Fang replied quickly, “Thank you, CEO Qin!”
Qin Yue walked into his office and turned back to say, “If a third person finds out about this, I will hold you responsible.”
“Rest assured, CEO Qin, my lips are sealed,” Assistant Fang made a gesture of locking his mouth. “My mouth is so tight that even scissors could not pry it open.”
Qin Yue waved his hand. “Fine, go back to your work.”
Assistant Fang left the office, making sure to check twice that the door was closed tight.
Qin Yue sat in his chair, took out his phone, and studied the profile picture of his newly added contact. The background was a cloudy day with a silhouette holding an umbrella. He recognized at a glance that it was Gu Qian himself. He admired it for a long while before clicking into his Moments.
Unfortunately, Gu Qian’s main account was as blank as his alternate account. Qin Yue exited the chat, resisting the urge to send a message. After all, it had been a struggle to get him added back; he did not want to annoy CEO Gu again.
After eight o’clock, Qin Yue finished his work and prepared to go home. Just as he walked into the underground parking lot, the phone in his pocket buzzed.
Gu Qian: 【Room 806.】
Immediately following that, a location message popped up. It was a hotel not far from Universal Group. He realized what the message meant, and his handsome brows furrowed.
Qin Yue: 【Qiqi, what do you mean by this?】
Gu Qian: 【I will only wait for thirty minutes.】
Qin Yue tightened his grip on his phone. After only a second of hesitation, he strode toward his car. A twenty-minute drive took him only ten minutes. He handed his car to the valet and arrived at the front desk. “Checking in for Room 806.”
“Hello, sir. The person who registered the stay is Mr. Gu Qian, correct?”
Qin Yue replied, “Yes.”
The receptionist handed him a key card. “Eighth floor, turn left. Have a pleasant evening!”
Soon, Qin Yue arrived at Room 806. He took a deep breath, suppressing his nervousness, and swiped the card. With a beep, the door opened.
He stepped into the room, and his breath caught. Only the wall lamps were on. Gu Qian was lying on the sofa, wrapped in a loose white bathrobe, revealing snow-white skin that glowed under the dim light. Hearing the noise, he lazily opened his eyes.
Qin Yue’s Adam’s apple moved. His legs seemed to move uncontrollably toward the sofa. Gu Qian had just finished showering. There was an unusual redness at the corners of his eyes, and the wet tips of his hair were still dripping water down his long neck.
“You “…” ” Qin Yue found his voice a bit raspy. “Qiqi, what are you doing?”
Gu Qian looked at him and asked airily, “Is this not what you wanted?”
No matter what Qin Yue’s initial purpose was, Gu Qian was certain the man was interested in his body. He had been caught with leverage, so he would accept his luck. If sleeping with him could shut Qin Yue’s mouth, the price was acceptable.
As soon as Qin Yue heard his voice, he knew he had been drinking. A bottle of red wine on the coffee table was nearly empty.
Gu Qian followed his gaze. “What, do you want to drink too?”
Qin Yue forced himself to look away. “You have misunderstood.”
Gu Qian tilted his head and asked bluntly, “Are you saying you do not want to sleep with me?”
“Of course I want to “…” ” Qin Yue denied it without thinking, then realized he sounded wrong. “You are not sober right now. We will talk tomorrow.”
He turned around with difficulty. “Get some sleep first. I will pick you up tomorrow morning.”
Gu Qian rose from the sofa and walked toward him. “Qin Yue.”
Just hearing his name made Qin Yue’s ears tingle. Gu Qian walked behind him and reached out to pull his arm. Qin Yue turned around obediently, but he only dared to fix his gaze on Gu Qian’s face.
Gu Qian looked into those dark eyes. “I will ask you one more time. Do you not want me?”
Qin Yue’s Adam’s apple rolled. “I “…” ”
Gu Qian got his answer. He pressed his palm against the firm chest muscle, pushing him forward. Qin Yue was pushed back until he hit the edge of the bed and sat down.
Before he could get up, Gu Qian knelt between his legs on one knee. His fingertips hooked onto the man’s necktie and pulled it downward.
Qin Yue propped his upper body up with his elbows, using all his strength to suppress the blood rushing through his body. “Qiqi, get off me first “…” ”
Gu Qian’s movement paused, and his gaze flicked downward. The charcoal gray suit trousers were already tight to the extreme. For a moment, he felt a bit of fear. How was such a terrifying thing supposed to “…”
But since things had reached this point, the arrow was on the string. Gu Qian curled his lips slightly, his tone carrying a hint of mockery. “Or is it that CEO Qin is actually incapable?”
With a bang, the last of the logic in Qin Yue’s brain completely collapsed. His large hands firmly grasped the slender waist. He spoke through gritted teeth. “Gu Qian, you asked for this!”
