- Chapter 69.2 - Ah Yun Is Inside Me
Before Qingruo could finish, Yunxi’s words dissolved into a kiss, desperate and entangled, swallowing her protest.
Song Mei quietly closed the door. She wiped the tears at the corners of her eyes before turning. Outside, little Xining came running over, short legs wobbling as she called out, “Grandma~!”
Her eyes reddened again. She took her small hand and whispered, “Ningning, from now on, you must be good and stay close to your mommy and mother.”
“Don’t worry, Grandma.”
Little Yan Xining’s face was full of innocence, completely unaware of the tangled grudges between the adults. Since Grandma said that Mother and Mommy had some work to handle, she decided not to disturb them for now.
She was a very obedient child!

“Yan Qingruo, it’s me—Ah Yun. How can I make you believe me?”
She slowly lifted her hand and gently cupped Yan Qingruo’s face. The woman tilted her head slightly upward, eyes brimming with tears, delicate as pear blossoms weeping in the rain.
“You’re not my Ah Yun. My Ah Yun would only feel for me, never for another woman.
“And… my Ah Yun would never have a child with anyone else.”
Jin Yunxi’s heart felt as if it had been lightly seized. She bent down, slipping her arms beneath Yan Qingruo’s knees and back, lifting her securely into her embrace.
“She won’t have children with anyone. Only with you, Yan Qingruo. Always only you.”
Instinctively, Yan Qingruo wrapped her arms around Jin Yunxi’s neck, her fingers clutching tightly at her collar.
When they reached the bed, Jin Yunxi carefully laid her down, then leaned over her, bracing her hands on either side. She lowered her gaze, staring deeply at the woman beneath her—the woman she couldn’t forget, couldn’t let go of, the one who lingered between every breath and heartbeat.
“Yan Qingruo, you always make me so…”
…heartbroken.
She had originally intended to let Qingruo stew for a few days before reconciling. She, too, had her pride and temper—she couldn’t just forgive whenever called, as if an explanation alone could wipe everything away. All she wanted was for
Yan Qingruo to cherish her more, to cherish their love.
But seeing her hurt herself… she couldn’t bear it. If anyone was going to suffer uncertainty and heartache, let it be her. If Qingruo insisted on climbing higher along the pole, then let her climb—because for Jin Yunxi, indulgence and tenderness were her only choices. Besides, hadn’t her body already surrendered long before her heart did? She never had any defenses against Yan Qingruo. Not in the past, and not now.
She lowered her head, soft as a breeze brushing across petals, kissing Qingruo’s forehead like soothing a frightened fawn.
Then her warm lips drifted to her cheek, down along the poetic curve of her brows and eyes, every kiss tender and full of depth.
Qingruo’s eyelashes trembled faintly, like startled butterfly wings, shivering under Yunxi’s touch.
“Wife~”
The whisper reached her ears, distant and dreamlike, almost unreal.
Tears slipped soundlessly down her face. Jin Yunxi brushed them away with the tip of her tongue, as if wishing she could kiss away all of Qingruo’s grievances.
“Wife, don’t cry.” Her voice was low and gentle, flowing from the softest part of her heart.
The fragile arch of Qingruo’s back quivered, and her lips trembled with it.
Covering her eyes, she mumbled in a childlike pout, voice tinged with grievance: “Didn’t hear it. Say it again.”
“Ruoruo, my wife~” Yunxi called softly, her tone overflowing with doting affection. “My darling.”
“You’re not allowed to have children with anyone else,” Qingruo demanded, stubborn even in her vulnerability.
“I won’t. Only with you,” Yunxi promised without hesitation.
“You’re not allowed to have feelings for anyone else.”
“Only for you.”
“I don’t believe you. You won’t even share a bed with me, won’t come close, just keep your distance even when we lie together.”
“Want to test that right now?” Yunxi arched a brow, her lips curving with amusement. If she really had no feelings, why would she be begging for suppressant shots in the middle of the night?
Better to prove it with action.
Her tongue coaxed Qingruo’s lips apart, slipping inside to entwine with hers, teasing and entangling.
Qingruo let out a soft whimper, tightening her arms around Yunxi’s neck, kissing her back with fervor. Every touch of their tongues was precious, every exchange deep enough to swallow each other’s breath.
As the kiss deepened, Yunxi’s hand slid down her arm, interlacing their fingers.
Clothes fell away. Her nimble hand stroked Qingruo’s slender waist, savoring skin smoother than silk.
Her lips grew hotter as they trailed down. Qingruo tilted her head back, gasping helplessly, as Yunxi’s kisses left marks along her neck and clavicle, making her shiver and clutch Yunxi’s face.
“Shall we keep going?”
“Mm… keep going.”
But she hadn’t expected this kind of continuation.
Taking a deep breath, Yunxi husked, “Who am I? Say it clearly, or I won’t let you have it.”
A blush bloomed across Qingruo’s face. She whispered as softly as a mosquito’s buzz, “Ah Yun.”
“Good girl.”
…Time stretched on.
With her body and pheromones overflowing, Qingruo’s damp hair clung to her skin as she melted into Yunxi’s presence. The world seemed to fall silent, leaving only their heartbeats and breaths.
It was the long-missed closeness, the hundredth promise after that very first stage encounter. Her little Yunxi was playful and bold again.
So full, so happy it brought tears.
“Who’s holding you now? Who’s inside you?” Yunxi whispered teasingly in her ear.
Eyes covered, Qingruo murmured shyly, “Ah Yun.” Living inside her heart—and her body.
“Do you like it?”
She liked it very much, felt safe—but too embarrassed to admit it aloud. Yet her body betrayed her with an honest shiver.
Yunxi chuckled softly, “I like it too.” She whispered against her ear, “Baby, my Ruoruo, good girl.”
Tears shimmered at the corners of Qingruo’s eyes, but instead of yielding, she only clung tighter.
“You can’t bear to leave me, can’t bear to leave your little Yunxi?”
“Mm… bad Ah Yun…”
Yunxi’s heart swelled with endless tenderness, and a pain she could no longer restrain. In Qingruo’s near-obsessive love and devotion, it transformed into a spring sun that warmed even the deepest, most unsettled corners of her soul.
With every deeper motion, she gave her reassurance: Don’t be afraid—I’m right here, inside you.
Finally, she whispered softly against her ear, “I forgave you long ago. Promise me—so long as you don’t lie, don’t use me, and keep your love pure… I’ll never leave you again.”
In that moment, they were inseparable—body and soul entwined.
Until stars gave way to dawn.
“Baby, how’s the test result? Still think you don’t feel anything for me?”
“Mm… I do, I do. Just—move away a little.”
“No.” Yunxi refused. She hadn’t wanted suppressants for a long time now, and instead kept coaxing the heart already brimming with her pheromones.
One soft murmur of, “Baby, open up for me,” and Qingruo melted instantly, letting her in once more…

Elsewhere, Jin Yunhan arrived at the Jin family garden as promised, eagerly waiting to see her sister. But no matter how long she waited, Yunxi never appeared.
Suddenly, several uninvited guests stormed into the garden. The foreign man leading them fixed his gaze on Jin Yunhan and barked, “The Alpha in the Jin garden—who else could it be but her? That’s her! If she won’t come willingly, we’ll take her by force.”
“You’re Jin Yunxi?” the man demanded, scanning her up and down.
Faced with their imposing presence, Jin Yunhan’s heart sank. Her sister might be in danger. Thinking quickly, she swallowed her denial and instead said evenly, “I am. What do you want?”
“Someone wants you to fulfill a promise you made. Do you remember?” The man’s stare carried open threat.
Jin Yunhan’s expression hardened. She knew at once this was trouble. When she didn’t answer, the man grew impatient. “Are you coming or not?”
To their surprise, “Jin Yunxi” nodded.
The next second, darkness fell across her vision. Before she could resist, she was shoved into a car, the door slamming shut. The vehicle roared away, leaving only the empty garden behind, as if nothing had happened at all…
