After Marrying the Cold Omega in Secret - Chapter 51
Chu Jin paused, resting her arm on Chi Ye’s forearm. She lifted her chin and looked at her, squinting.
Chi Ye immediately closed her eyes, responding to the silent warning.
There was no choice—her wife could be fierce.
Thanks to their last experience, this time Chu Jin landed steadily and quickly dressed since her robe was right there. She was no longer flustered as before and no longer exposed from head to toe.
Once she tied her robe, she said, “Okay, you can open your eyes now.”
Chi Ye raised her eyelids, her gaze lingering on Chu Jin.
“That was fast,” she said, her eyes sweeping over her wife’s form.
When her gaze neared Chu Jin’s collar, Chu Jin lifted her hand to pull the robe closed, covering the tempting shadow.
Seeing her small win, Chu Jin smiled. A bright light flashed in her eyes, like a hunter savoring the moment their prey walked into the trap.
Chi Ye, however, refused to show disappointment. Her pride would not allow it.
Chu Jin found Chi Ye’s controlled expression endearing.
With a teasing tone, she said, “President Chi, go take your bath.”
She brushed past Chi Ye, her hair sweeping along her neck like a breeze, and glided toward the door.
A faint scent lingered. Chi Ye’s thoughts drifted after her.
“Wait for me in bed,” Chi Ye murmured.
Her words were calm but carried an edge of longing.
Chu Jin did not respond. Her hand rested on the bathroom door handle as she turned her head.
Her profile was elegant. Her high nose and long eyelashes cast delicate shadows over her eyes.
“I’m heading back to my room,” she said.
“No,” Chi Ye replied firmly.
Still, Chu Jin only smiled and left, closing the door behind her.
Chi Ye was left alone in the bathroom.
Although she remained in the room, her mind had followed Chu Jin.
Even her usual bath felt quicker.
Yet, as she opened the door, her hand froze on the handle.
She was anxious.
What if Chu Jin really had left?
What if she had slipped back into her own room just as she said?
Chi Ye was almost certain Chu Jin was teasing, but she wasn’t completely sure.
They had shared every day recently. Their bodies had grown close. They cared for each other frequently, yet emotionally, they felt distant—sometimes close, sometimes remote.
It felt like a thin veil separated them. She’s like water: fluid and elusive. You try to hold her and she slips away unless you’re gentle.
For all of her control, Chi Ye now doubted everything.
Chu Jin had seemed ready to advance, but now the moment had vanished.
Their closeness felt fragile and shallow.
Chi Ye, usually confident, was suddenly uncertain.
She imagined holding Chu Jin too tightly and losing her.
Maybe she needed to mirror Chu Jin’s own approach—push and pull.
She drew a calming breath and forced herself to move forward, opening the door just enough to glimpse the bed.
The linens were smooth and untouched.
Her heart tightened.
Did she truly leave?
Her fingers curled white around the handle as she stepped into the bedroom.
The bed was unwrinkled.
Chi Ye sighed, her energy draining.
Should she go through the connecting door to find her?
Maybe Chu Jin was just tired and ended early.
But they had shared such an intense moment—not to mention absence of exhaustion.
She had seen the marks Chu Jin still bore.
She had meant to assert her own desires tonight, but found herself caught off guard.
Then, Chi Ye heard a sound behind her.
The walk-in closet opened.
Warm light poured out, casting a slender shadow.
She had thought Chu Jin would be in bed. When she saw no figure, panic rose and she nearly forgot to check here.
Chi Ye turned.
There was Chu Jin.
She leaned in the doorway, relaxed yet mesmerising.
Barefoot on the soft carpet, wearing a black silk nightgown that outlined her silhouette in the backlight.
Her figure was lithe and graceful, every curve accentuated.
She watched Chi Ye with soft, dreamy eyes and a faint, inviting smile.
“President Chi, were you looking for me?”
Chi Ye met her gaze and took two steps back before sitting on the bed.
She looked up at Chu Jin with quiet intensity.
“Weren’t you going back to your room?”
Chu Jin lowered her gaze and tilted her head with a slight smile, but she quickly concealed it. Her dark eyes locked onto Chi Ye as she began walking toward her. Every step was unhurried, yet each movement felt like a subtle hook, catching Chi Ye’s attention and pulling her in completely.
She stopped in front of Chi Ye, lifted her foot, and gently nudged Chi Ye’s legs apart, stepping between them. Their skin touched, both of them burning with heat.
Chu Jin looked down into Chi Ye’s eyes. The corners of her eyes lifted slightly, her gaze soft and seductive, like a still pool of autumn water that could drown someone without mercy.
Her long, slender fingers lifted slowly through the air before lightly brushing Chi Ye’s shoulder. The movement was delicate and lazy.
“I was afraid you’d get angry and deduct my living allowance,” Chu Jin said in a gentle whisper.
Chi Ye looked into her eyes for only a moment before swallowing hard. She reached up and took Chu Jin’s hand.
“You’re right to be worried,” Chi Ye replied firmly, then started to stand.
But Chu Jin didn’t move aside. As Chi Ye began to push upward, Chu Jin quickly wrapped an arm around her waist and leaned forward, pressing Chi Ye back down onto the bed.
Chu Jin’s arm held her firmly, the other bracing her weight beside Chi Ye’s body. A few strands of hair fell from her shoulder and brushed against Chi Ye’s neck.
Chi Ye shifted her neck slightly, her brows furrowing just enough to show her discomfort.
Chu Jin pulled her hand from under Chi Ye and gently touched her cheek.
“What’s wrong?”
Their faces were close enough that Chu Jin’s breath brushed across Chi Ye’s cheek. Her words were soft and intimate, more like a caress than a question.
Chi Ye avoided her eyes. Chu Jin felt different tonight. During the show, she had always held back. But now, in real life, every look felt like it was going to devour her completely.
Her gaze burned so hot that Chi Ye’s throat began to feel dry.
“It itches,” Chi Ye said softly.
The strand of hair was still tickling her neck, brushing lightly with every breath Chu Jin took.
Of course, Chu Jin knew that. She was enjoying this version of Chi Ye far too much.
This was the part she loved most. When Chi Ye’s cold exterior and proud personality began to melt under her touch, when the restraint slowly turned to longing and she became helpless to resist.
Right now, only half of Chi Ye’s cool composure remained. Her eyes hadn’t lost all clarity yet.
Chu Jin leaned down and gently kissed the corner of her mouth, then pulled back.
“Where does it itch?”
Her voice was soft and misty, seductive like a breeze on a warm night.
Chi Ye tried to keep her breathing even, but the blush on her face had already betrayed her.
Chu Jin’s fingers slid from her neck downward, moving to untie her robe. But Chi Ye quickly reached out and stopped her.
“No…”
There was nothing under the robe.
“It’s my turn to look at you, sweetheart,” Chu Jin murmured with determination.
With that, she grabbed both of Chi Ye’s wrists and pressed them firmly above her head against the bed.
Chi Ye couldn’t move. She had no choice but to let Chu Jin do as she pleased.
As an alpha, Chu Jin was naturally stronger than Chi Ye, who was an omega. Even if she tried to resist, she wouldn’t be able to overpower her.
Chi Ye knew this, so she didn’t struggle.
Chu Jin opened the robe slowly. The pale skin beneath was flawless, glowing softly even in the dim light.
She had felt it with her hands before, but seeing it with her eyes now made her heart race.
Chi Ye had no way to defend herself, only able to lie there shyly as Chu Jin looked her over.
“Sweetheart, you haven’t answered me yet.”
Chu Jin’s voice had turned low and husky, rich with heat.
She leaned closer again.
Chi Ye’s breathing became uneven.
“Answer what?” she asked, trying to focus. Her chest rose and fell with each shallow breath.
Chu Jin’s lips brushed her ear. She nibbled gently on the lobe.
“I asked you… where does it itch?”
Chi Ye didn’t respond.
“Here?” Chu Jin whispered as her tongue softly traced the edge of Chi Ye’s ear, the warmth wrapping it like velvet.
Chi Ye trembled slightly but still said nothing.
Chu Jin kissed along her neck until she reached the small red mole on her collarbone. The mark was darker than usual, vivid against her fair skin.
Chu Jin pressed a kiss to it, letting the blush cover it.
“Is it here?” she asked again.
Still no answer from Chi Ye, though her whole body was heating up, her skin glowing pink.
Chu Jin continued downward, gently teasing her with her tongue.
That spot was more sensitive than anywhere else. Chi Ye finally parted her lips, her gaze unfocused.
Chu Jin nudged her cheek against Chi Ye’s skin, then looked up at her.
“Or is it here?”
Chi Ye had already surrendered.
The last trace of her aloofness had vanished. What remained was raw desire. Chu Jin smiled and finally let go of her wrists.
Chi Ye immediately wrapped her arms around Chu Jin’s neck and pulled her close. Their bodies pressed tightly together.
Though Chu Jin still wore a thin nightgown, it barely separated them. The heat from their skin passed right through.
“What is it?” Chu Jin asked, her lips close to Chi Ye’s ear.
Chi Ye paused to catch her breath. She struggled to calm herself.
“I’m tired,” she said coolly. “Let’s sleep.”
