After Flirting with the God-Tier Beautiful Tycoon - Chapter 30
Shen Xiaojiang was tall and had been on the school volleyball team in high school, giving her amazing arm strength.
She carried Chen Yi horizontally and walked towards the edge of the bed.
Just then, Shen Xiaojiang suddenly tripped over a towel by her feet.
Normally, this trip wouldn’t be a problem; Shen Xiaojiang could easily steady herself.
But today was different. She felt dizzy and clumsy, and she fell straight down, holding Chen Yi.
The bed was soft, and the quilt had a pleasant, soapy scent.
“Are you okay?” Realizing she had fallen on someone, Shen Xiaojiang quickly propped herself up to get off the bed.
Chen Yi’s cheeks were flushed, and the dripping ends of her hair were wet on her face.
Her whole person seemed even fairer and more translucent, like a delicate flower dampened by rain.
“Tsk…” She buried her face in her hair, looked at Shen Xiaojiang through the strands, and laughed out loud.
“Wh-What’s wrong?” Shen Xiaojiang also felt embarrassed.
She glanced away while secretly stealing a look at that extraordinarily beautiful face.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to.” Shen Xiaojiang’s apologies were always very sincere.
Actually, she didn’t need to apologize her look of a good, apologetic puppy was already sincere enough.
Chen Yi watched the puppy who had made a mistake and was apologizing, her smile deepening.
She slowly and gently pulled the fleece blanket on the bed to cover herself and softly said, “I don’t blame you. I blame myself for carelessly leaving the towel there.”
Shen Xiaojiang’s hands were braced on either side, casting a thin shadow that shielded Chen Yi from the overhead light.
Covered in shadow, Chen Yi was like a sea shrouded in mist, even more alluring.
Shen Xiaojiang, driven by desire, shook her head fiercely: “No, no, no, it’s my fault!”
They were very close, their breaths reaching the depths of each other’s eyes.
Chen Yi’s eyes warmed. Shen Xiaojiang’s clean and unique scent wafted over, and she loved it, willing to drown in it.
Facing Shen Xiaojiang, she became lustful, becoming greedy.
She slowly reached out and traced Shen Xiaojiang’s wrist, which was braced on the bed.
Winding blue veins wrapped around the soft bone, looking very sexy, as if full of strength.
“Shen Xiaojiang…” Chen Yi buried her face deeper. Her ears, hidden among the countless strands of hair, turned completely red.
After speaking, she used two fingers to press on the pulse on Shen Xiaojiang’s wrist.
“Shen Xiaojiang, your…” Chen Yi pulled the blanket up higher, half-covering her face. Her thin eyelids slowly lifted, then quickly lowered. Her delicate mouth, hidden under the blanket, opened and closed, uttering a heart-stirring, beautiful voice, ” heart is beating so fast.”
“What?” Shen Xiaojiang’s gaze followed Chen Yi’s fingertips.
Oh… her pulse.
“Is it fast?”
“Mhm, very fast.”
Chen Yi’s voice was low, muffled by the blanket, and paired with her lazy, scattered gaze, it was so tempting, so seductive.
They held this position for a full minute.
Shen Xiaojiang forgot the soreness in her arms and the passage of time.
She just wanted to quietly, without blinking, look at Chen Yi.
Watching her skin undergo subtle changes under her gaze.
A blush, then an even deeper blush.
After a long period of silence, Chen Yi slowly turned her head, their eyes meeting.
Her heart sank heavily, and she pulled the blanket up even higher.
Shen Xiaojiang liked her like this seemingly bold and daring, but actually incredibly shy. The extreme contradiction was mesmerizing.
She raised her hand and gently brushed the hair off Chen Yi’s face. “Why that expression? Are you trying to seduce me?”
Having always been the one Chen Yi flirted with, this time, Shen Xiaojiang wanted to flirt back.
She just didn’t realize that even when she did nothing, she had already captivated the other person.
“Yes,” Chen Yi narrowed her phoenix eyes. Her long eyelashes trembled slightly in the shadow. With a small movement, her smile brightened, spreading across her delicate skin: “Well, have you been seduced?”
Shen Xiaojiang’s pupils widened, and she bit down hard on her back teeth.
What the heck?
This was clearly cheating!
Chen Yi in this state was absolutely captivating.
Shen Xiaojiang felt that right now, anyone would find her irresistible.
Shen Xiaojiang herself was no exception.
Now, even if Chen Yi took a knife and cut out her heart or liver, she would be willing.
Seeing Shen Xiaojiang looking like a stunned goose, Chen Yi lightly chuckled. “Come here, lie down beside me.”
Upon hearing this, Shen Xiaojiang immediately adjusted her position and lay down.
The interruption slightly cooled the burning desire they had just felt.
This was the first time Shen Xiaojiang was looking at the ceiling from the same perspective as Chen Yi.
The warm yellow light scattered from the glass shade, casting rainbow-like, colorful spots on the ceiling.
“Auntie, can I ask you a question?” Shen Xiaojiang turned to look at Chen Yi’s face.
The other woman softly hummed a response.
Shen Xiaojiang’s gaze was fixed on the back of Chen Yi’s neck, where a tiny bit of the back tattoo was visible.
“Your back…” Shen Xiaojiang hesitated.
She wasn’t sure if asking this would be impolite.
Chen Yi paused, then curved her lips. “Are you curious about what’s going on with my back?”
Shen Xiaojiang didn’t answer, just blinked her eyes.
Chen Yi turned sideways, reached out, and hooked Shen Xiaojiang’s chin with her index finger. As their eyes met, Chen Yi smiled first.
“You don’t have any tattoos, do you?” she asked.
Shen Xiaojiang nodded.
Chen Yi lowered her eyes, then used her hand to press down the quilt over her chest, slowly sat up, exposing her entire back to Shen Xiaojiang.
On her snow-white, delicate back, her spine was prominent, extending all the way to her tailbone.
“This is a Siberian Iris,” Chen Yi used one hand behind her back to poke the blue-purple flowers with her index finger. “It symbolizes light and freedom.”
Shen Xiaojiang also sat up straight, following the direction of Chen Yi’s finger to observe closely.
Most people around Shen Xiaojiang didn’t have tattoos, and very few even dyed their hair or had manicures.
But Chen Yi had ash blond hair, dark red nail polish, and a full back tattoo.
“How is it, does it look good?” Chen Yi slowly turned her head, eyes downcast, her thick eyelashes holding a faint glimmer of light.
In that instant, it was as if a filter had been automatically applied to her soft, gentle, with a fragile kind of beauty.
“Mhm, it’s beautiful,” Shen Xiaojiang answered sincerely.
For a moment, even she wasn’t sure if the “beautiful” part referred to the irises or to Chen Yi herself.
Chen Yi’s back was narrow and slender. Even filled with tattoos, the prominent butterfly bones were still clearly visible.
Logically, a tattoo is drawing on the skin, so it should be flat, but Shen Xiaojiang felt that the tattoo on Chen Yi’s back had a slight texture.
She tentatively reached out. Before touching the tattoo, she paused, politely asking, “Can I… touch it?”
Chen Yi hummed a response.
Shen Xiaojiang swallowed, her throat dry, and gently stroked the blue-purple flowers with her fingertip.
“Does it hurt?” she asked.
Chen Yi took a few seconds before speaking: “It doesn’t hurt anymore now.”
Hearing that answer, Shen Xiaojiang felt a pang of heartache.
She didn’t ask any more questions.
Chen Yi turned to look out the window, quietly saying, “Want to know why I got it, even though it hurt so much?”
Shen Xiaojiang remained silent.
Her gaze returned to the pattern of the tattoo on Chen Yi’s back.
Under the light, she noticed that the flowers seemed to be covering something up.
What exactly was it?
Shen Xiaojiang couldn’t quite tell yet.
“If I didn’t have the tattoo, my back really wouldn’t be presentable,” Chen Yi said this with a very calm tone, even a hint of bitter relief.
Shen Xiaojiang stopped staring at the tattoo and looked in the same direction as Chen Yi.
A cloud partially obscured the moon, but the moonlight was still bright and clear.
Chen Yi’s long, curled eyelashes fluttered like crow’s feathers, and she said distractedly, “Some pains are far more intense than getting a tattoo.”
Hearing this, Shen Xiaojiang suddenly remembered that Sister Meng had said something similar to her before.
She knew that giving birth to a child and raising them was a very tough thing, but she was willing to do it.
Because some hardships were far more overwhelming than raising a child alone.
Later, the two stopped talking about themselves and talked about everything under the sun until very late.
Shen Xiaojiang didn’t sleep on the sofa tonight but slept beside Chen Yi.
Although her sleep quality was usually excellent, with Chen Yi lying next to her, she inevitably felt excited.
Only when she finally heard Chen Yi’s breathing become steady and even did Shen Xiaojiang relax.
Originally lying flat, she cautiously turned to look at Chen Yi, who was facing away from her.
She stared blankly for a while, gazing at the back of Chen Yi’s head.
How could someone be like this, where even the back of their head looked so beautiful?
Shen Xiaojiang reached out and picked up a strand of Chen Yi’s hair, wrapping it around her fingertip to admire.
Although Chen Yi dyed her hair, the quality was still excellent smooth, silky, with hardly any split ends or damage.
She thought to herself, did this woman also pay for an SVIP pass with Nuwa (the Chinese creation goddess), resulting in her receiving many extra privileges when Nuwa molded her face?
Shen Xiaojiang snuggled closer to Chen Yi, more clearly smelling the fragrance on her.
It was very subtle and very unique.
A mix of floral and woody scents, even with a hint of the disinfectant smell of a hospital.
It wasn’t unpleasant it was even a little addictive.
The kind of scent one could remember for a lifetime.
Shen Xiaojiang rested her head on Chen Yi’s hair draped over the pillow, leaned closer to the back of her head, and whispered, “Auntie, I hope there will be no more pain in your life from now on.”
A little while later, Shen Xiaojiang fell asleep.
Just then, Chen Yi’s eyes slowly opened.
After a shallow smile, she turned to face Shen Xiaojiang.
“Little fool,” she said, her expression very gentle.
At the same time, she raised her hand and gently poked Shen Xiaojiang’s nose.
“No pain? Only if you stay with me, always, always…”
Chen Yi mumbled softly.
“Okay…” Shen Xiaojiang suddenly moved, groggily mumbling a response.
Chen Yi was startled and quickly closed her eyes.
She didn’t know why she was so nervous and reserved when facing Shen Xiaojiang.
After confirming that Shen Xiaojiang was only talking in her sleep, Chen Yi felt relieved and opened her eyes again.
This time, she also shifted towards Shen Xiaojiang.
Like a small, insecure beast, she burrowed and wriggled, snuggling into Shen Xiaojiang’s embrace.
“I’ll take that as a promise.”
Before closing her eyes again, Chen Yi tilted her head and kissed Shen Xiaojiang’s chin, softly saying, “Good night.”
Tomorrow is Ben Cai’s birthday. I’ll post a long chapter for you all. Happy birthday to me, and may I always hold onto poetry and distant dreams.
