- Chapter 31 - "Wife? No... Master"
Ye Qinglan’s fingertips traced slowly along the edge of the leather collar, the metal bell tinkling softly with her movements, sounding exceptionally crisp in the quiet bedroom.
She pressed Su Jin gently against the wall, her nose nearly touching the other’s already crimson earlobe. Her warm breath brushed fitfully against that sensitive patch of skin.
Su Jin’s neck shrank back, her voice trembling. “Don’t…”c
Before she could finish, she was interrupted.
“Roleplaying what? A little bunny?”
Ye Qinglan’s fingertips lightly toyed with the small white ball at the small of Su Jin’s back, the soft fluff vibrating slightly under her touch.
She leaned in and whispered into Su Jin’s ear, her voice husky, her warm breath staining the tiny earlobe red. “Little bunnies don’t talk.”
Her long fingers slid slowly up the spine, leaving a searing sensation on every vertebra.
Su Jin instinctively tensed her body, her skin beneath the black lace flushing a faint pink.
“Relax.” Ye Qinglan’s lips pressed against her neck, dense kisses falling continuously. “Let me see what a good bunny looks like.”
Su Jin’s knees went weak, forcing her to lean against the wall for support.
The bell at her throat jingled with her trembling movements, sounding exceptionally clear in the silent room.
Ye Qinglan’s gaze lingered on her face before finally landing on her head.
“Where are the ears?” She looked around, picking up a pair of fluffy rabbit-ear headbands from the headboard. “How can a little bunny be missing its ears?”
The moment the headband was put on, Su Jin tried to hide in shame, but her waist was gripped and pulled close.
Ye Qinglan’s fingers ran through her hair, gently kneading the sensitive scalp beneath the headband.
“So cute.” She lowered her head, her nose grazing Su Jin’s flushed cheek.
Blushing deeply, Su Jin tugged at her clothes and asked in a low voice, “Don’t… stop playing. The task is already complete now that I’m wearing this outfit.”
Ye Qinglan’s fingertips suddenly stopped. She lightly hooked Su Jin’s chin, forcing her to meet her gaze.
Those eyes, usually cold and clear, were now dark as ink, carrying an irresistible pressure.
“Task complete?” she repeated slowly, her finger sliding from the chin to the bell at the neck. “Who said we were doing a task? From the moment you put this on, my game has only just begun.”
“Game?” Su Jin’s breath hitched, her back pressed tight against the cool wall.
She could clearly feel the pheromones emanating from Ye Qinglan, mixed with a hint of dangerous aggression that made her legs go soft.
“You… what do you want?” She tried to maintain her composure, but her voice shook uncontrollably.
Ye Qinglan leaned in, kissing her lips. “The little bunny stole these clothes; shouldn’t she pay a price?”
“But the system clearly”
Before the words could leave her mouth, Ye Qinglan’s lips were already against her earlobe, lightly taking it into her mouth: “Shh… a rabbit who talks back needs to be punished.”
Su Jin shuddered, wanting to flee but having nowhere to go.
Ye Qinglan’s lips traveled along the curve of her ear, finally stopping at the sensitive side of her neck, delivering a bite that was neither too light nor too heavy.
“It hurts…” Su Jin protested softly, the corners of her eyes turning red.
Ye Qinglan pulled back slightly, admiring the mark she had left. Her thumb gently brushed over the reddened skin: “It has to hurt for you to remember.”
Her gaze drifted downward, landing on Su Jin’s rising and falling chest.
The skin beneath the black lace was an enticing pink, flickering in and out of view with her rapid breathing.
Ye Qinglan’s gaze was too predatory. Su Jin instinctively tried to curl up, but Ye Qinglan beat her to it, pinning her wrists against the wall above her head.
The lace outfit pulled upward with the movement, revealing a sliver of a slender waist that glowed like a pearl under the warm yellow light.
“Don’t… don’t look…” Su Jin was both shamed and annoyed. Just as she opened her mouth, her voice caught in her throat.
Ye Qinglan’s cool fingertip was pressed lightly against her lips, stopping her words.
“Why hide?” Ye Qinglan hooked a finger under a drooping shoulder strap, tugging it gently: “Such beautiful clothes. It would be a waste not to display them properly.”
She suddenly stepped back and sat leisurely on the edge of the bed. With a tilt of her chin, she commanded, “Turn around and let me see.”
Su Jin’s eyes widened: “What?”
“Since you’re roleplaying a bunny,” Ye Qinglan toyed with a small bell she’d picked up from the bed, “you should be professional, shouldn’t you?”
Their gazes clashed in the air, neither willing to back down.
Ultimately, Su Jin lost the battle. Reluctantly, she turned in a circle.
The bell chimed crisply with her movement, and the fluffy rabbit tail swayed gently.
Ye Qinglan’s gaze swept over her like something tangible, finally settling on her slightly trembling legs: “Your legs are shaking so much. Is it fear… or anticipation?”
“Ye Qinglan!” Having been teased repeatedly, Su Jin finally couldn’t help but rebel, raising her voice in a shout.
Slap…
She was caught off guard by a smack to her bottom.
“Ah!” she cried out. “What are you doing!”
Ye Qinglan narrowed her eyes dangerously. “Wrong name. Try again.”
“You”
Slap.. another one.
She didn’t hold back her strength, causing Su Jin to wince in pain.
“What are you doing!”
“Call me!” Ye Qinglan’s voice was cold and stern.
Su Jin pursed her lips, calling out in a small, aggrieved voice: “Qinglan, Qinglan”
Slap…
“Wrong. Again.”
“Qinglan… no, no!” Su Jin desperately cut herself off, her brain spinning as she searched for the right answer.
I can’t call her by her name, I can’t…
But if not her name, what else?
In that instant, countless titles flashed through her mind.
Slap…
Another one landed.
This one was harder, making her whole body jolt. “What are you doing! I haven’t even said it yet!”
“Exceeding five seconds is also considered a mistake.” Ye Qinglan smiled, rubbing the spot she had just hit, asking with immense patience, “Have you thought of it?”
Su Jin pouted aggrievedly, muttering under her breath, “This won’t do, that won’t do… what do I have to call you to make you happy?”
Hearing her voice, Ye Qinglan raised an eyebrow and delivered another slap without hesitation.
Seeing the hand about to fall again, Su Jin blurted out in desperation.
“Wife! No… Master!”
The moment the title left her lips, Ye Qinglan’s hand paused. When it landed, it was light as a feather, with no pain at all.
Clearly, she was pleased by this address.
The corners of Ye Qinglan’s lips curled up as she pulled the girl into her arms. “Good girl.”
A kiss as light as a feather first landed on her trembling eyelid. Su Jin instinctively closed her eyes, feeling the warm touch of the soft lips lingering there.
Then came the slightly heated tip of her nose. Ye Qinglan nuzzled it gently, as if comforting a startled small animal.
Finally, she stopped at the space between their lips. The agonizingly close distance made Su Jin instinctively tilt her head to seek her out, but she remained a hair’s breadth away, only allowing Su Jin to feel the warm breath brushing her lips.
“In such a hurry?” Ye Qinglan chuckled lowly, finally covering those two soft lips.
At first, it was just a light touch like a dragonfly skimming water, until Su Jin unconsciously let out a kitten-like whimper. Only then did she deepen the kiss.
As their tongues entwined, her fingers wandered along the edges of the lace fabric, lingering at the hollows of the waist. Her fingertips grazed the sensitive skin, triggering a fine shiver.
Su Jin’s fingers unconsciously gripped Ye Qinglan’s clothes, her knuckles turning white from the force.
She could clearly feel the other’s fingers hovering over the lace patterns at her waist. The skin there was exceptionally sensitive; every touch felt like a tiny electric current passing through her.
“Wait…” she panted, turning her head away. The bell at her neck rang out with the movement. “The system only said to wear it… it didn’t say…”
She tried to twist the system’s meaning, but her next words were blocked.
“I told you, it’s my game now.”
Ye Qinglan lightly bit her reddened earlobe, grinding it gently between her teeth, feeling the body in her arms give a violent jolt.
Her fingers hooked around the fluffy rabbit tail, twining it around a finger, intentionally using her thumb to rub the soft pad at the base. “Such a cute tail. It would be a waste not to play with it.”
Su Jin felt like she was going to spontaneously combust from shame. Her fair skin flushed a deep pink, spreading from her ears down to her collarbones.
She tried to dodge, but Ye Qinglan scooped her up by the waist. The sudden weightlessness made her cry out, instinctively wrapping her arms around the other’s neck.
The world spun as her back sank into the soft mattress.
Ye Qinglan’s long hair fell like a waterfall, creating an intimate curtain between them. A few strands brushed against Su Jin’s cheek with a faint scent of jasmine; the ticklish sensation made her shrink her neck.
“Don’t be afraid.” Ye Qinglan untied Su Jin’s hair tie, letting the long hair spread out like silk.
Her fingertips gently combed through the slightly messy strands, her movements as tender as if she were handling a fragile treasure. “Give yourself to me tonight, okay?”
Su Jin bit her lower lip and nodded, her eyes misty as if covered in a layer of water.
She could feel Ye Qinglan’s long fingers tracing the elegant lines of her neck all the way down, circling the hollow of her collarbone.
The skin there was incredibly sensitive. Each touch made her breath quicken, her fingers unconsciously clutching the bedsheets, bunching the smooth fabric into tiny wrinkles.
The lace outfit rolled up slightly with the movement, revealing more snow-white skin, looking even more enticing against the black lace.
Su Jin reached out in embarrassment to pull it down, but Ye Qinglan pinned her wrists down first.
“Don’t cover it.” Ye Qinglan’s voice grew huskier, her eyes burning as she looked at the exposed skin. “It’s beautiful.”
She suddenly leaned down, pressing a light kiss to Su Jin’s heart.
With her lips against that delicate skin, she could clearly feel the rapid heartbeat underneath, thumping like a drum.
“Ye… Qinglan…” Su Jin’s voice carried a slight sob. Her fingers slid into the other’s silk-like hair, her tips unconsciously winding around a few strands.
The corners of her eyes were flushed red, like a light smudge of rouge, standing out vividly against her pale skin.
“Wrong.” Ye Qinglan pushed herself up, looking into those eyes brimming with mist.
Su Jin’s vision was hazy. Remembering the address from earlier, she murmured, “Wi… Wife.”
“So good.” Ye Qinglan gave her a rewarding kiss.
She took the rabbit ear headband off Su Jin’s head and placed it on her own. The corners of her lips curved into a dangerous arc, the corners of her eyes tilting upward. “Now, how about I be your bunny instead?”
Su Jin looked at the Ye Qinglan before her so different from her usual self. The black rabbit ears made her skin look white as snow, and her slightly parted red lips held a hint of seductive glamour rarely seen.
Su Jin couldn’t help but reach out, her fingertips lightly touching the fluffy ears, only to be caught by the wrist in the next second and pinned to the pillow.
“Caught you.” Ye Qinglan chuckled softly, lowering her head to kiss her parted lips.
The night was enchanting, the room filled with the colors of spring, and the sound of the bell rang for a long, long time.
