After Entering a Contract Marriage with a Disabled Alpha - Chapter 44
After that, Pei Yu didn’t manage to get much homework done at all.
Every bit of his attention was occupied by Qin Shen.
Having gone through this several times now, Pei Yu was slowly getting the hang of things. He was no longer as frantic or overwhelmed by shame as before back when he was too embarrassed to even take a single peek. To be more precise, observing a little bit wasn’t entirely out of the question.
He watched the way Qin Shen’s brows furrowed slightly; that cold, stern expression was completely different from his usual self. The contrast was incredibly intense. A subtle sense of satisfaction and wonder rose in Pei Yu’s heart. He didn’t dislike this version of Qin Shen. Those dark, usually temperature-less eyes were now filled with a very worldly, raw desire.
Pei Yu’s fingertips twitched. He used his free hand to brace himself on the wheelchair’s armrest, his knuckles brushing against the loose hem of Qin Shen’s clothes. Leaning down, he leaned in and pressed a kiss against Qin Shen’s long eyelashes.
He lowered his voice, deliberately coaxing the man: “Gege…”
In the next second, those thin, sharp lips claimed his snowy-white neck with dominant force. A rough, scorching tongue lightly licked the fine beads of sweat from the side of Pei Yu’s neck, seeking more of that “little rose” sweetness. This little rose belonged entirely to Qin Shen alone.
Pei Yu’s breathing grew heavy under the kisses, and for a moment, he forgot to move. It was Qin Shen who caught his wrist, his lips moving to Pei Yu’s reddened earlobe, whispering in a seductive, low rasp: “Don’t stop. Keep going.”
A long while later, the scent of cedar and mint around Qin Shen suddenly intensified—crisp, cold, and aloof. The pheromones aggressively drenched the youth’s entire palm. Pei Yu’s fingers were well-defined, clean, and translucent. Under the glow of the desk lamp, the soft flesh at the edges of his fingers seemed to let light pass through, and his slightly calloused fingertips had turned a flush pink from the heat.
In the dead of night, the homework on the desk had long been forgotten by Pei Yu.
Qin Shen wasn’t the kind of Alpha who only cared for himself. How much did he like Pei Yu? It was to the point where even kissing every inch of him wouldn’t feel like enough. He even secretly looked forward to seeing his little rose bloom even more beautifully and enchantingly under his careful “service.”
The two of them lay back down on the bed, the dark green sheets making Pei Yu’s skin look as white as fresh snow. Qin Shen buried his face in the boy’s neck, seeking more kisses. His warm, damp lips soon left a pale pink “strawberry” mark on Pei Yu’s throat.
Pei Yu’s face turned bright red. In his daze, he suddenly remembered the engagement banquet tomorrow morning—he’d have to see so many guests. If he couldn’t hide the hickey, Qin Shen would have made the whole thing far too embarrassing.
“D-don’t leave such obvious marks,” Pei Yu pinched Qin Shen’s earlobe. Seeing that the man didn’t pull away, he cupped Qin Shen’s head and met his lips with his own. If it was just his mouth… even if it got a bit swollen, it would probably go down after a night’s sleep.
“You’re actually daydreaming while kissing me…” Qin Shen found it amusing. He caught Pei Yu’s jaw, forcing the boy to look him in the eye. His low voice carried a hint of aggression, and a dangerous signal flickered in his dark eyes.
Sensing trouble, Pei Yu immediately gripped Qin Shen’s shirt and kissed him proactively and obediently. “I wasn’t daydreaming. You felt it wrong.” Pei Yu’s raised ankle brushed against Qin Shen’s calf.
Qin Shen paused for a moment but didn’t call him out. He leaned down again for a deep kiss, his tongue repeatedly grinding and chasing. When it finally ended, Pei Yu’s eyes were unfocused for a moment. He breathed slowly, a bone-deep numbness spreading through his fingers. No matter how many times Qin Shen kissed him, he still felt a rush of sensation and intense shyness.
His cheeks were burning hot. He pulled the thin quilt over himself, feigning composure. “Don’t you… need to go take a shower?”
“Mmh.” Qin Shen sat there but didn’t move.
Pei Yu stopped paying attention to him, trying his best to regain his cool. Otherwise, if Qin Shen noticed, he would definitely tease him. After all, he had just laughed at Qin Shen for having no “backbone,” but now, after just one deep, lingering kiss, he had become just as “spineless.”
His heart hammered like a drum; his face was a fiery red.
Rustling sounds filled the air. Pei Yu lay there, staring up at the shadowed ceiling. The light was a bit piercingly bright. He raised an arm to cover his eyes, trying to make himself feel better.
Suddenly, the quilt was tossed aside. Before Pei Yu could react, Qin Shen leaned over again, his broad back blocking out the harsh light.
Pei Yu’s world went dark. Then, his eyes widened. Qin Shen had bitten him, and his tongue was being incredibly bold.
“…”
This was too absurd. Pei Yu was thrown into such a panic by this move that his heart nearly stopped beating. He raised a hand to push Qin Shen away, but as his palm brushed the man’s dark hair, he couldn’t bring himself to actually do it.
The high-and-mighty, dignified Qin Shen was actually willing to do this much for him.
But…
This was indeed something Qin Shen would do. He really, really seemed to like him. He liked him enough to not find him “distasteful” at all.
“You… you really don’t have to do this,” Pei Yu’s finger grazed Qin Shen’s neck, a wave of bittersweet emotion rising in his nose.
Qin Shen’s voice was low and muffled: “It’s nothing…” It was just something that happened naturally.
Pei Yu wanted to say more, but the words turned into a sweet, tremulous whimper. He tilted his head back, gripping Qin Shen’s hair tightly, the mole at the corner of his eye turning a deep, vivid red.
Pei Yu hadn’t been prepared at all. He hadn’t expected things between them to progress this quickly. When his vision went white, he curled his toes forcefully, clutching the soft quilt, his calves trembling.
A long time later, Qin Shen sat up to tidy things up. Once finished, he leaned over Pei Yu, looking down at the red-cheeked youth and asking hoarsely, “I’m going to shower. Do you want to rest for a bit first?”
“…”
Pei Yu swallowed hard, still trying to find his bearings after the surging tide. As Qin Shen turned to leave, Pei Yu instinctively grabbed the man’s wrist and pulled him back. His light brown eyes stared intensely at Qin Shen. In the moment Qin Shen blinked, Pei Yu leaned up to kiss him.
“Don’t…” Qin Shen reacted quickly and dodged. There was still a “taste” in his mouth.
Pei Yu knit his brows slightly, dissatisfied. He wrapped his arms around Qin Shen’s neck and forcefully turned the man’s face back, proactively kissing his lips.
This kiss was completely different from their previous ones. Usually, Pei Yu could taste crisp mint in Qin Shen’s mouth. This time, both of them were filled with the thick scent of Omega pheromones. The “little rose” fragrance was rich and heady, drifting through the air.
Pei Yu stared at Qin Shen’s thin lips, his face heating up. His heart accelerated. The thought of what Qin Shen had just done for him made the courage he’d just summoned vanish instantly. He let go of Qin Shen and bit his lip in silence, the flush spreading from his cheeks to his collarbone—a blatant display of bashfulness.
“Wasn’t it you who wanted to kiss?” Qin Shen laughed lazily.
Pei Yu’s eyelashes trembled as he avoided the question. “I already kissed you…”
“Such a simple kiss? You pulled me so hard just now, I thought you were at least going for a deep, passionate one.”
Pei Yu grew even more embarrassed. After a long pause, he murmured, “I was going to kiss you hard, but…”
“Baby, are you actually feeling self-conscious about yourself?” Qin Shen pulled him close, lightly biting Pei Yu’s lip and forcefully transferring the taste of the little rose back to him.
The moment their tongues met, Pei Yu’s heart beat like a rapid drum. His spine felt a jolt of electricity—酥酥麻麻 (tingly and numb). It felt as if a thin membrane had covered his ears; his whole world went quiet. He could taste himself in Qin Shen’s mouth—the sweet fragrance of roses.
The man’s arm around him tightened slightly, and a low chuckle vibrated near his ear. “Baby, isn’t it very sweet?”
“…”
Qin Shen deepened the kiss. Pei Yu was forced to arch his slender neck, a thin layer of sweat sliding into the hollow of his collarbone.
“Is it?” Pei Yu’s voice shook. This kind of question was far too embarrassing. He didn’t know what kind of mindset Qin Shen had to accept his “things” so nonchalantly. He had almost swallowed it directly.
“Yes.” Finally, Qin Shen affectionately nipped Pei Yu’s soft lower lip and smiled. “Very sweet.”
Qin Shen had been gone for a while, gargling and showering in the bathroom. The sound of splashing water filled the room.
Pei Yu let his mind go blank, dazing out for a long time. That was his first time doing that, and he had probably made Qin Shen uncomfortable several times. Instead, it was Qin Shen who had been patient and accommodating throughout.
Thinking back, although they started with a transaction and Qin Shen had paid a high price, logically, he should be the one serving Qin Shen and making him happy. Yet, in every intimate encounter—from the back of the car to just now—it was always Qin Shen who helped him first.
Just thinking about it made Pei Yu blush again. He rolled over, ignored his open zipper, and went to the walk-in closet to find one of Qin Shen’s shirts to throw on. His two pale, slender legs were straight and smooth.
Returning to the bedroom, Pei Yu found he had absolutely no desire to finish his homework.
He pulled up the covers to sleep, belatedly realizing that since they’d both be in formal wear all day tomorrow, Qin Shen wouldn’t have the chance to wear the clothes he’d slept in anyway.
Which meant he could have worn his own cotton pajamas tonight.
He gripped the hem of Qin Shen’s shirt, remaining silent for a moment, but he didn’t get up to change. He decided to just… pretend he hadn’t thought of it. After what had just happened in the bedroom—things that would make Pei Yu’s face turn beet-red if anyone else found out—he was perfectly content staying as he was.
Qin Shen hadn’t called the caregiver to help him tonight. As a result, bathing alone took him quite a bit longer. He had already finished rinsing; the toothpaste was a standard mint flavor. Qin Shen pressed his tongue against the back of his teeth, feeling as though the scent of the little rose still lingered in his mouth.
Remembering Pei Yu’s sweet, muffled whimpers, a smile tugged at the corners of Qin Shen’s lips. How could he possibly find any part of him distasteful? He couldn’t love him enough. Every inch of Pei Yu made his heart tremble with affection.
On the bed, in that hazy space between dreams and wakefulness, Pei Yu felt the spot beside him sink down as he was pulled into a warm embrace. Qin Shen reached out and clicked off the light. In the thick, velvety moonlight, he relied on intuition to find and kiss Pei Yu.
The kisses were gentle and lingering, as if he were handling the most precious treasure in the world. Pei Yu, used to Qin Shen holding him, instinctively wrapped his arms around the man’s waist even in his sleep. Feeling his lips being nipped and licked, Pei Yu mumbled, “Qin… Qin Shen, sleep…”
“Mmm, I’m going to sleep now,” Qin Shen replied earnestly.
Listening to the youth’s shallow breathing, Qin Shen’s heart was filled to the brim with warmth. “I love baby the most,” he whispered against Pei Yu’s ear.
Inhaling the faint scent of roses, Qin Shen slowly closed his eyes. In the quiet of the night, a soft voice suddenly drifted back: “…Baby loves you, too.”
The next morning, Pei Yu was woken up before the sun was even out. Still feeling drowsy, he buried himself in Qin Shen’s chest and begged for a few more minutes. When Qin Shen wouldn’t budge, Pei Yu looked up with wide, pleading eyes and kissed the man’s cheek, trying to use this affectionate bribery to get his way.
Qin Shen gave his softest, roundest curves a firm squeeze. Pei Yu jolted. “What was that for?” His voice was thick with sleep and sweetness.
“No more sleeping. The ceremony starts at noon, and the estate is quite a drive away. We need to get up early.”
Pei Yu whimpered and whispered soft pleas, but he was ruthlessly rejected. Secure in the knowledge of Qin Shen’s deep affection for him, he had become increasingly “lawless,” shamelessly clinging to the bed like he had no bones.
Looking at the lump under the covers, Qin Shen felt both exasperated and amused. He went to the bathroom, prepared the toothbrush with toothpaste, and brought back a towel dampened with cool water. Returning to the bedside, he lifted Pei Yu with one arm and patiently began to serve him.
The cool towel on his face chased away much of his grogginess. Then, something was slipped into his mouth the sharp, refreshing mint flavor of the toothpaste finally jolted him awake. He opened his bleary eyes to see Qin Shen holding his hand up, carefully brushing his teeth for him.
In an instant, Pei Yu’s face was flooded with color. He was actually letting the physically impaired Qin Shen wait on him like this?! It was beyond improper.
Pei Yu scrambled to take the toothbrush, saying indistinctly, “You don’t have to take care of me! Go busy yourself with your own things, I’m completely awake now.”
He sat on the bed in a “duck sit” pose, his legs shockingly white and bright. Qin Shen took one look before averting his gaze and ruffling the boy’s messy dark hair. “Alright. I’ll go finish getting ready, then.”
Even after Qin Shen left, Pei Yu couldn’t escape the wave of shame and embarrassment. He was being pampered far too much wasn’t Qin Shen afraid of spoiling him rotten?
After breakfast, they changed into their formal suits. In the walk-in closet, there was a large full-length mirror.
Pei Yu looked at himself in the reflection. Both of their suits were impeccably tailored, fitting their superior physiques perfectly. The contrast between the reserved white and the steady black was striking, and their individual temperaments matched their respective colors flawlessly. Though the colors were opposites, together they formed a perfectly harmonious picture. Details on the sleeves, collars, and subtle patterns underscored just how compatible they were as a pair.
“This feels a lot more comfortable than the one you bought me last time,” Pei Yu said, twisting his body to feel the fabric move with him.
“Mmm, it was custom-made for your frame, after all.” Qin Shen looked up slightly, his gaze falling below Pei Yu’s waist.
Perhaps the fit was too perfect; the trousers cinched the youth’s waist so tightly it looked as though a single arm could easily encircle it. Further down, the suit emphasized a very prominent hip line—curved and firm.
Qin Shen wasn’t the only one who noticed; Pei Yu, admiring the suit in the mirror, noticed it too. The pants felt… very, very snug. Normally, Pei Yu preferred loose-fitting clothes—jeans, joggers, and athletic pants were his go-to for comfort.
“Is it… a little too tight here?” Pei Yu asked, tugging at the fabric over his backside.
“It does seem that way.” Qin Shen narrowed his eyes slightly. “I noticed it immediately.”
Pei Yu: “…”
Actually, I wanted you to say something comforting. Like, ‘No one is going to be staring at your butt.’
“You’re such a pervert, of course you’d only be looking there,” Pei Yu muttered under his breath. “Other people aren’t as perverted as you.”
But since there was nothing wrong with the suit and its form-fitting nature was the point, he couldn’t exactly change it. He decided to just accept it and move on.
Qin Shen’s lips curved into a smirk. He let out a low “Mmm.” “True. Other people definitely won’t be staring there as specifically as I am.”
Pei Yu’s face flushed. He shook his head to clear the thought and turned his attention to Qin Shen.
The deep black suited him perfectly. Even sitting down, it was impossible for anyone to ignore his cool, steady, and powerful aura. His shirt collar was left slightly open, revealing the sharp lines of his collarbone and throat. No matter the situation, his posture was impeccable—his back as straight as a ruler.
Broad shoulders, narrow waist, dressed in a sharp suit with legs crossed… the high-tech custom wheelchair only added a layer of unapproachable mystery.
Suddenly, a slight bulge in the black fabric of the trousers caught Pei Yu’s eye. Perhaps because of the way he was sitting, it was particularly noticeable. Pei Yu’s eyelids jumped, and he immediately looked away. He’s already so intimidating, couldn’t he have made his clothes a bit looser?
Qin Shen had no idea what Pei Yu was thinking, nor did he understand why the boy’s face had turned red again. It couldn’t be that he was blushing just from looking at him, could it?
He concluded that it must be the heat. The early autumn temperature wasn’t exactly low, and they were wearing two layers of formal wool. He picked up the remote and clicked on the air conditioner in the closet. Cold air began to rush into the room, and the temperature dropped within minutes.
“Is it still hot?” Qin Shen asked, touching Pei Yu’s burning cheek.
Pei Yu: “…”
When the appointed time arrived, the pre-booked stylists arrived and quickly organized their hair. Pei Yu’s fringe looked artfully messy, but every strand was meticulously placed. His makeup was light—just a few strokes to emphasize his naturally exquisite features. Under the bright lights, he looked every bit the pampered Omega young master.
Qin Shen stared at him for several seconds, a warmth flooding his heart, before finally looking away. His own hair was styled back, a look that heavily tested one’s facial structure and aura. For Qin Shen, it wasn’t a problem. His facial lines were sharp, his features deep and three-dimensional, and his pure black eyes were flawless.
Qin Yiyang, who had run over to check on their progress, was instantly floored by how handsome they both looked. “Whoa… you guys look incredible. This look…”
Qin Yiyang was also in formal wear. He let out a light cough. “You’re almost as good-looking as me. Just a tiny bit behind.”
Qin Shen raised an eyebrow, looking him up and down. “Oh? Is that so?”
Qin Yiyang swallowed hard and didn’t dare say another word. “Ahem—anyway, Grandpa said he’s heading over first. He told me to hurry you guys up. Better to leave early in case there’s traffic.”
Pei Yu and Qin Shen agreed in unison. They gathered their jewelry and headed downstairs. Inside the luxury limousine, they helped each other put on their accessories. The cufflinks were a beautifully crafted matching pair. Additionally, Pei Yu wore an emerald cedar-branch brooch, while Qin Shen pinned a white rosebud to his chest.
Qin Shen leaned in to patiently tie Pei Yu’s necktie. His long fingers brushed against Pei Yu’s sensitive Adam’s apple. Being so close, Pei Yu had a momentary hallucination—this level of grandeur and care felt less like an engagement and more like a wedding.
“Baby, you look truly beautiful today,” Qin Shen said, a lingering smile in his eyes. He pulled Pei Yu toward him, wanting a kiss.
Pei Yu’s lips were shimmering with the peach-flavored balm that had just been applied. Just as their lips were about to touch, Pei Yu remembered and leaned back a few degrees. “Can’t kiss! I just put on lip balm. If you kiss me, it’ll be gone.”
“Will it?” Qin Shen caught the youth’s small chin with his fingers, looking left and right. “It does look a little shinier than usual.”
“Yeah, it’s peach-flavored.” Pei Yu parted his lips slightly, a hint of pale pink showing inside as he spoke.
“Then…” Qin Shen’s eyes flickered as he leaned in and gave the lip a light, playful nip.
Pei Yu’s eyes widened. He could clearly feel… Qin Shen had licked him, too. Before he could get angry, Qin Shen sat back up and said with a straight face, “It really is peach-flavored.”
The sunlight outside seemed to bake the tips of Pei Yu’s ears until they were scorching. He clenched his fingers, not knowing what to say.
