After Entering a Contract Marriage with a Disabled Alpha - Chapter 20
Pei Yu wasn’t sure if his grumbling had been too loud, but Qin Shen, who was a few meters ahead, turned his head and gave him a calm, sidelong glance.
Pei Yu’s muscles tensed instantly. Only after Qin Shen turned away did he let out a tiny sigh of relief.
He was right, though. It was Qin Shen’s first kiss too—why did the man act so certain that he would be better at it?
Taking advantage of the short walk behind the wheelchair, Pei Yu quickly pulled out his phone to search for ways to “make someone cry through deep kissing.” Unfortunately, the internet was flooded with cases of Alphas making Omegas cry… because Omegas are generally far more sensitive, and Alphas can be terrifyingly dominant.
Pei Yu: “…” His confidence vanished.
However, he did find an Omega who shared a serious tip on how not to be kissed to tears by one’s Alpha: 【The secret is to relax, and whatever you do, don’t forget to breathe!】
Who forgets to breathe during a kiss? Alright, he felt confident at least that he wouldn’t make a fool of himself.
He pushed open the door to Qin Shen’s room and saw the man’s slender fingers loosening his tie. Qin Shen unhurriedly removed his tie and jacket, placing them on the sofa nearby.
“You have to take off your clothes just to kiss?” Pei Yu asked curiously.
In the summer, Pei Yu usually wore loose short sleeves—comfortable and breathable. But wherever Qin Shen went, he was almost always in formal shirts and suits. Of course, with the air conditioning in the house, office, and car, he never got hot.
“Yes. Otherwise, it affects performance,” Qin Shen said in a deep voice.
Pei Yu: “…” He felt even more nervous.
He watched with wide eyes as Qin Shen removed his jacket and rolled up his sleeves, his lean forearms displaying a quiet sense of power. Qin Shen looked up at him, his dark eyes burning with an obscure, heavy light—like a predator watching a prey it had long since marked.
In an instant, the atmosphere became heavy and lingering.
Embarrassed by the gaze, Pei Yu’s face began to flush. He stammered tentatively, “S-so, how do we start?”
Qin Shen paused, scanned the room, and let his gaze fall on the bed. “On the bed. If you sit sideways on my lap, it’ll be easier to kiss.”
E-easier to kiss?!
Pei Yu’s face was fully “cooked,” but he felt that admitting defeat so quickly would be too humiliating. He steadied his mind and said in a voice he tried to keep level, “Sit on your lap to kiss?”
His voice, however, failed him and trembled.
Qin Shen moved his wheelchair to the side and sat on the edge of the bed, resting his hands lightly on his thighs. His hands were beautiful; the cold white skin formed a sharp contrast with the pure black suit fabric. The man sat with his head slightly lowered, a few strands of hair falling to partially cover his prominent brow bone.
The scene was visually stunning, like a fashion magazine cover. Just one kiss… I’m definitely not the one losing out here, Pei Yu thought.
“Mm. Come here,” Qin Shen’s voice was low and raspy, brushing against Pei Yu’s ears.
Pei Yu pursed his lips, so nervous he nearly walked with his same-side arm and leg forward. As he reached Qin Shen, his knees brushed against the man’s, and he felt a faint trace of heat. He couldn’t help but recall the tight embrace in the living room; Qin Shen’s body temperature seemed significantly higher than his own.
Qin Shen tapped his leg, his dark eyes signaling Pei Yu to come up. “If we stall any longer, they’ll think we’ve been kissing for a very long time.”
At the thought that the medical staff downstairs knew exactly what he and Qin Shen were doing up here, a strange, subtle sensation rose in Pei Yu’s heart.
“O-oh, okay.” Pei Yu’s cheeks burned, and his head felt dizzy from nerves. He placed one hand on Qin Shen’s shoulder and sat sideways on the man’s thigh, his expression momentarily dazed.
“Does it hurt… sitting on your leg like this?” Pei Yu stammered.
“No,” Qin Shen’s voice was raspy, like it was lined with sand.
Sitting there, Pei Yu’s eye level was slightly higher than Qin Shen’s. All Qin Shen had to do was tilt his head slightly to reach the boy’s soft lips.
“Do you start, or do I?” Qin Shen asked.
“…”
Pei Yu’s heart hammered even harder. He swallowed, remembering his bold words back at the elevator. He realized he had reached the point of no return; there was no escaping now.
Might as well…
Pei Yu bit his lip, steeled his heart, and placed both hands on Qin Shen’s shoulders. His light brown eyes were clear and beautiful under the room’s light.
He said, “I’ll do it.”
A tiny smile touched Qin Shen’s lips. “Alright. You do it.”
Pei Yu gripped the fabric of the man’s shirt and leaned forward, lowering his head slightly. Their lips met.
They were soft, and the scent was wonderful. Pei Yu could smell a faint woody fragrance crisp and clean. Perhaps because it was their first kiss, neither of them closed their eyes.
Pei Yu’s heart was racing like mad, and his blood began to boil. His breath was shaky, and he remained perfectly still, looking down into Qin Shen’s eyes.
Qin Shen had a high bridge to his nose and dark, profound eyes that stared back at him with a surging, turbulent emotion. Time seemed to slow down, and Pei Yu felt the temperature around them rising.
Outside the window, the sky was as black as ink, with only the bright moon hiding behind thin clouds, casting a silver glow. The night light on the bedroom wall cast a warm yellow circle, lengthening the shadows of the two people kissing.
Qin Shen sat sideways to the light; his stern face was cut into halves of light and shadow, making his expression hard to read.
“Not going to continue?” Qin Shen opened his lips slightly, his voice exceptionally husky.
Pei Yu’s own lips, which had been resting tentatively against the man’s, were suddenly captured.
Seeing that Pei Yu was so nervous he had lost the ability to speak, Qin Shen said in a low voice, “They require a deep kiss.”
Feeling the man’s lips moving wantonly against his own, Pei Yu’s face instantly turned a violent shade of red.
“I—I know!” Pei Yu started to say.
But then, a hand settled on his lower back, half-embracing him with a light touch.
Pei Yu shuddered instantly, his spine jerking straight and his waist going numb.
“Y-your hand.” Pei Yu’s voice was light, soft, and trembling, laced with a hint of timidity.
Qin Shen acted as if he hadn’t heard, his large, dry palm fully pressing against the small of the boy’s back.
“This provides a point of support.”
“Mm…”
Pei Yu gave a weak response, still agonizing over whether he should actually extend his tongue, when his soft lips were pried open directly.
His eyes widened in surprise at Qin Shen taking the initiative.
Qin Shen tightened his grip on Pei Yu’s waist and said with an air of high-minded dignity, “Sorry, we can’t delay this any longer. It’s better if I take charge.”
Pei Yu’s heart flared with heat. In the next second, he clearly felt his mouth occupied by the man’s soft tongue.
The moment their tongues touched, Pei Yu’s mind went completely blank.
Out of the corner of his eye, Qin Shen glanced at the minute hand on his wristwatch and began timing.
He only felt that the boy’s mouth was exceptionally soft, warm, and filled with the clear sweetness of rose fragrance. Every cell in his body was shivering.
He kissed fiercely, gradually losing control over his strength. The moment he touched the boy’s lips, the gentleness and restraint he had previously planned collapsed instantly.
Every bit of oxygen in Pei Yu’s mouth was plundered. Qin Shen, eyes half-lidded, kissed him with force. Pei Yu stared at him with wide eyes, completely dazed. His dark eyelashes trembled incessantly as their breaths slowly mingled.
The pheromones in the room began to rise and spread. It was like a soft, heavy snowfall, with flakes falling onto delicate rose petals, soaking the softest stamen hidden at the center.
Qin Shen’s gaze was full of affection, yet carried the dominance and aggression unique to an Alpha. Just meeting his eyes made Pei Yu’s heart skip a beat.
Gradually, Pei Yu grew dizzy from the kiss, his chest tight from the lack of oxygen. He let out two whimpers and balled his fists to push Qin Shen away, but Qin Shen, having finally tasted the soft lips he had long desired, was not so easily moved. He remained motionless, only kissing even more fiercely.
A faint electric current surged up from the base of his spine; Pei Yu’s waist went completely weak. Deprived of oxygen, his face was flushed and damp, and his eyes grew misty with tears.
“D-don’t kiss anymore…” Pei Yu’s mouth felt numb and hot; in his daze, he suspected it was already swollen.
The first time, Qin Shen ignored him.
The second time, Pei Yu pleaded, “N-no more kissing.” His voice carried a faint hint of a sob.
That heart-melting tone pulled back a shred of Qin Shen’s sanity. His eyes were bloodshot as he finally stopped and pulled back slightly.
“The time isn’t up yet,” Qin Shen said heavily.
Pei Yu took the brief opening to gasp for air, the red flush spreading across his cheeks and collarbone like an allergic reaction. The boastful confidence he had earlier was utterly crushed.
With red, watery eyes, he glared at Qin Shen in accusation.
Qin Shen’s heart softened. He lightly patted the boy’s back and said in a coaxing tone, “Sorry. I’ll be gentler for the rest. Just bear with it.”
Pei Yu’s nose felt a sting of sorrow. He asked softly, “How much longer…?”
“Eight and a half minutes.”
Qin Shen’s lips moved back in. He didn’t dare be too reckless this time, merely grinding gently against the boy’s cupid’s bow.
“Don’t interrupt for too long. If it affects the data, we’ll have to start over and kiss for another ten minutes.”
“Ah…” Pei Yu felt like crying; the outer corners of his eyes were red. They had kissed for so long, yet only a minute and a half had passed.
“Mm, be good. Be good and it’ll be over soon.” Qin Shen used his hand to gently stroke the back of the boy’s neck.
When his fingertips brushed over the slightly protruding gland on the back of Pei Yu’s neck, Pei Yu’s body jolted, his very bones going numb.
“Don’t touch my neck,” Pei Yu whimpered.
Qin Shen stared at the boy’s lips, which were flushed red and moist from the kissing, and gave a low “Mm.” He lightly cupped the boy’s slender nape and pulled him back toward his lips.
“Shall we continue?” Qin Shen asked, his voice raspy.
His warm breath sprayed across Pei Yu’s face. Pei Yu’s heart trembled; his lips had only hesitated open a crack when they were caught by Qin Shen again.
The sound of lips and teeth entwining filled the room.
In his nervousness, Pei Yu forgot to breathe again. After several repetitions, he was tormented until his fingertips felt weak. Because of the oxygen deprivation, a deep flush surged into his cheeks. In one of his blinks, a single crystal tear rolled down from the corner of his eye.
Feeling the wet trail on his cheek, Pei Yu froze completely. An overwhelming sense of shame peaked; he hurriedly reached up with his hand to wipe it away, wanting to destroy the evidence.
Against his ear, he heard Qin Shen’s low, lazy chuckle. Immediately after, his cheek was kissed.
Qin Shen kissed away the tear, looked down with hooded eyes, and smiled. “It’s salty.”
“!!!”
Pei Yu’s breath hitched, his face felt like it was about to steam over. Meeting Qin Shen’s teasing eyes, Pei Yu’s shame reached its limit, and his head felt swollen and dizzy. He instinctively tried to hide, but as soon as he moved his body, he realized he was still being held by Qin Shen.
“You’re misremembering!”
“What sweet, what salty…”
With a face turned completely red, Pei Yu buried his face in Qin Shen’s shoulder, rubbing away the residual tear mark on his cheek.
Qin Shen couldn’t help but laugh; the vibration of the laughter made Pei Yu’s body shake. Pei Yu bit his lips, which were still burning from the kiss, his heart in a total mess.
“Actually… I kissed quite lightly,” Qin Shen said. “I didn’t dare use too much force.”
“You call that light?” Pei Yu panicked, stammering as he spoke.
Qin Shen didn’t say anything more. His eyes darkened as his hand moved to the boy’s lips, using his thumb to rub away the moisture clinging to them. Pei Yu felt his lips were still burning; he dodged Qin Shen’s hand, left his lap, and sat on the edge of the bed.
“Hurry down and draw blood, or it’ll be too late,” Pei Yu reminded him. If they had to do another ten minutes, he might as well die tonight.
Unexpectedly, Qin Shen simply smoothed out his shirt, which had been crumpled by Pei Yu, and said, “We’ll go down in two minutes. It won’t affect anything.”
Pei Yu was about to ask why they had to wait two minutes when he glanced down inadvertently.
“???”
He instantly fell into a surge of embarrassment, his beautiful eyes widening as he looked at Qin Shen in disbelief.
Qin Shen noticed that Pei Yu had seen his change. Unhurriedly, he picked up his jacket from the side and covered his lap.
“Y-you—” Pei Yu seemed struck dumb, unable to find the words.
Seeing that Qin Shen said nothing and simply sat there with a composed posture, Pei Yu’s face turned red as he muttered angrily, “How can you be like this…”
“Like what?” Qin Shen raised his eyes slightly. His face was cold and his gaze appeared perfectly righteous. It made Pei Yu look like he was the one making a fuss over nothing.
Pei Yu stammered and muttered, unable to squeeze out a single complete sentence, finally giving up. With a face full of embarrassment, he whispered like an insult, “You pervert.”
“Mm.”
Qin Shen smiled slightly, not finding anything wrong with it at all. “Thank you for the compliment.”
Pei Yu was stunned by his thick skin and powerful heart; he was completely silenced.
