After Being Targeted By A Younger, Obsessive Tycoon, Mei Qiang Was In A Terrible Predicament - Chapter 9
The temperature inside the car seemed to plummet. Qi Xiaolin’s eyes were filled with gloom and malice as he stared fixedly at Yan Qingming’s wrist, which had been reddened by that man’s grip.
He said in a low, cold voice, “The person you told me was hospitalized yesterday—that was him, was it not?”
With his lie exposed, Yan Qingming admitted, “Yes.”
Qi Xiaolin squeezed the words out through gritted teeth. “You dare to cuckold me!”
The mere thought of that man clutching Yan Qingming’s hand made him feel physically ill, and his expression twisted into a ferocious scowl.
Yan Qingming reflexively reached for a cigarette in the car, but before he could touch it, Qi Xiaolin slapped his hand away. Qi Xiaolin hissed, “I am talking to you. The least you could do is give me a response.”
Yan Qingming pulled his hand back, rubbed the red mark on his skin, and said, “We have not even reached the point of sleeping together yet. Does mere conversation make you this nervous? Qi Xiaolin, you are being far too controlling.”
This comment only fueled Qi Xiaolin’s rage. He lunged forward and pressed Yan Qingming against the car window. “Controlling? I really should chain you up at home so you cannot go anywhere. Then we shall see who else you can try to hook up with.”
Pinned down and unable to move, Yan Qingming threw a kick toward him without hesitation. Qi Xiaolin caught his leg with lightning speed and pulled it toward his side. Their bodies were pressed tightly together in an intimate posture.
He sneered and teased, “Cannot wait?”
He reached out to unbutton Yan Qingming’s shirt, lowered his head to bite the elegant collarbone, and let his hands wander restlessly over Yan Qingming’s body.
Realizing what he intended to do, Yan Qingming tried to push him away, his voice tinged with urgency. “Wait until we get back.”
They were right outside the dojo. People could walk out and see them, and Jin Yu was just in the courtyard nearby.
Qi Xiaolin looked through the window and saw Jin Yu staring directly at them. He curled his lips into a smile. “No, I prefer it right here.”
Jin Yu sat in his wheelchair, watching the car that Yan Qingming had just entered with that man. Although the windows were tinted, it was not hard to guess what was happening inside. His hands gripped the armrests until his knuckles turned white, and he ground his teeth together.
Qi Xiaolin did not return to Yan Qingming’s small apartment but instead drove him back to his own villa in Qingcheng.
The car stopped in the courtyard. Qi Xiaolin zipped up his pants and smoothed his hair, which had been dampened by sweat. His clothes were unwrinkled, showing no sign of what had just occurred. In contrast, Yan Qingming lay slumped to the side, looking utterly disheveled. His body was covered in bloody bite marks and bruises, and he found it difficult even to sit up.
Yan Qingming closed his eyes, his mind drifting back to the first time he had taken Qi Xiaolin in. Back then, Qi Xiaolin had been only sixteen or seventeen, as thin as a twig, small, and dark-skinned. In just a few short years, he had grown taller than Yan Qingming and had become so robust that even Yan Qingming could no longer fend him off.
Qi Xiaolin threw his finished cigarette out the window, picked up the clothes from the floor, and tossed them onto Yan Qingming. He said in a deep voice, “I have already thrown those cats out. You handle Carl yourself, but I never want to see another dog in my sight again.”
Every time he thought of the fate Yan Feng had described for Qingyan, he felt an intense revulsion toward dogs.
Yan Qingming’s voice was hoarse. “I have raised Carl since he was a puppy. I cannot abandon him.”
Qi Xiaolin replied, “Then I suppose there will be dog-meat hotpot on the dining table tomorrow.”
Yan Qingming’s hands clenched into fists. “I will keep him at my apartment. If you do not go there, you will not have to see him again.”
Qi Xiaolin turned his head to stare at him intently. “I can allow you to keep him there, but Yan Qingming, can you promise me that you will obediently return here to live every single day?”
He knew Yan Qingming loathed him and wished never to see him. The moment he turned his back, Yan Qingming would run off to that dilapidated apartment building miles from the city center without even giving him a call.
As expected, Yan Qingming fell silent at this question.
