- Chapter 25 - Prominence
Who is stuffing things inside him?!
Wen Leling was not surprised that Song He did not agree immediately. After all, it was a verbal bait; if he regretted it later, there was nothing Song He could do about it. It was just a matter of words, and he could easily back out without any pain.
However, he did not intend to increase the stakes. If it really came down to it, he would simply use Min Chi and have him use forceful means to kick the man out.
After roughly three minutes, Song He relented, his lips curling into a bitter, faint smile. “Can I come to see you tomorrow?”
“Yes, of course you can!” Wen Leling’s eyes flickered, and the corners of his eyes crinkled. “Why would that not be okay?”
“Then I will stop disturbing you for now.”
“Mhm! Bye-bye!”
“Yes. See you tomorrow, Guide Wen.”
The more Song He spoke, the more hollow he felt, filled with reluctance. However, as he turned to leave, he was quite decisive, his footsteps landing steadily with no pause. He did not dare to stop, fearing that if he did, he would not be able to bring himself to leave.
Wen Leling, however, felt that Song He did not seem to care much about the matter. He was already making small plans in his mind to run away. Once Song He’s figure was completely swallowed by the doorway, his expression cooled, and he turned to ask Min Chi: “Are you leaving?”
Min Chi held Wen Leling’s hand against his own cheek and rubbed it. “I am not leaving. If I leave, who will take care of my baby?”
” ”
If they were in the livestream room right now, Wen Leling would certainly be able to handle this calmly. Unfortunately, they were not. His top donor was currently sitting right in front of him, intimately calling him:
“Baby.”
Wen Leling suddenly felt as if many small insects were crawling and squirming on his head, making it feel numb and hot. He did not respond, letting the words fall flat as he struggled to pull his hand back. “Let go!”
“You want to kick me out too?” Min Chi did not want to bully a patient, so he released his hand.
It was clearly visible that the overly fair and tender skin now bore large, messy patches of pink and red finger marks. It hurt a little.
A fellow who does not know his own strength.
Wen Leling irritably rubbed his wrist. As if venting his anger, he threw back the quilt and shot a secret glare at Min Chi before turning slightly to the side. Half of his small face was buried in the quilt, and his voice drifted out from the corner of the blanket, muffled and heavy. “No. If you are not leaving, then we should have a talk.”
“Talk about what?”
“What do you think?”
“Talk about being a couple?”
” ”
Wen Leling silently beckoned with his finger toward the small snake on Min Chi’s shoulder. The small snake thought he was about to receive some favor and flew straight to his side like an arrow. But before he could taste any sweet dates, Wen Leling grabbed him by the head and tail, placed him horizontally, and stretched him repeatedly in the air like he was pulling noodles.
The small snake felt as if he was going to break, yet he was infatuated with those warm, soft palms. The pink, smooth fingertips seemed to have lingering spiritual power, bringing him a faint sense of security. As he immersed himself and greedily soaked it up, a cold, small blade was suddenly pressed against his waist.
The snake was afraid. The snake trembled.
“Keep playing dumb.” Wen Leling held the shivering snake forward like a hostage, appearing unusually serious. “Give the doll back to me, or else I will”
“Or else what? Kill him or skin him as you please.”
Snake: ? Wen Leling: ?
What a cold and terrifying person!
Min Chi teased, “Are you cursing me in your heart?”
Having been seen through, Wen Leling tossed the snake back. He turned his face away from Min Chi and said shortly, “No.”
“Then you want me to return the doll to you?”
“Yes. That is really important to me. If you are willing to return the doll to me, I can unconditionally agree to one request from you.”
“Unconditionally?” Min Chi’s interest was piqued. He raised an eyebrow with a smile in his eyes.
! Wen Leling’s inner alarm bells rang.
This person is definitely not thinking of anything good!
He immediately added a supplement: “It cannot be too much! That kind of thing is absolutely impossible!”
“Oh? Which kind?” Min Chi chuckled, his tone playful. He leaned in closer, his gaze as soft as water, staring straight at him. The heavy affection in his eyes was not hidden in the slightest, surging like ocean waves.
Wen Leling dodged uncomfortably. “Just whatever you think is impossible is”
Suddenly, his voice cut off.
An invisible, deep kiss fell unexpectedly. Wen Leling’s eyes widened as if he were being strangled. He opened his mouth, but only blurry, fragmented whimpers and gasps could escape. His cheeks flushed with a visible blush. His mind was in a mess, and he did not dare to take a deep breath.
“Baby? What is wrong?” Min Chi sensed something was not right. He dropped his playful, unreasonable rogue act and pressed the back of his hand to Wen Leling’s forehead.
His face was very red, but not hot. Then where was the problem?
“I will go call the doctor.” As if his eyebrows were on fire, Min Chi could not wait a moment longer to press the call bell.
No! He could not press the bell!
He could not tell Min Chi what was wrong, and he certainly could not tell the doctor. There was a chance the doctor would lock him up as a mental patient. If he did not speak, the doctor would definitely insist on an examination, but right now, there was a surging sensation of being touched all over his body. He could not move at all.
His nape, his slightly protruding Adam’s apple, his lower abdomen, his waist, and the base of his thighs were particularly troubled areas. Marks like sunset clouds fell upon him, and the evening breeze blew through the branches, gently brushing past.
It was painful and itchy, making him uneasy. Was it three, or four?
Wen Leling wanted to stop Min Chi from pressing the bell, but the strange movements on his body suddenly stopped and then started again. Previously, it had been aimless wandering, but now it abruptly tightened and condensed into several sharp beams of light, launching a concentrated attack on him.
His ankle fell into a gentle restraint; a teasing itch rose on the sole of his foot, as if plucking a harp string. A light rain settled on his chest, wandering over the calm, sparkling puddles to play a musical movement, making the surface of the water ripple. His cheeks were constantly squeezed by sinking clouds, being pecked a few times. Suddenly, his lips and teeth lost their defense, gently pried open by an intruding warmth, as if he were holding a piece of candy that would not melt.
Wen Leling could not be sure. He had thought the path to finding the doll was nearing victory, but even with the target right in front of him, he still had a shared sensation.
Clearly, A-Long’s words had come true. There was more than one doll he shared a sensation with; there were likely three or four. Were they in the hands of the other three top donors? Most likely.
It should not be that a new doll had appeared to share sensations with him. How did those dolls gain a shared sensation with him?
Filled with confusion, the hand Wen Leling used to grip Min Chi’s wrist gradually increased in strength. His other hand covered his mouth, frequently wiping away the saliva that he could not stop from flowing out of the corner of his mouth. He tried his best to hide his discomfort, but it was all in vain.
Min Chi was blocked from pressing the call bell. Turning back in confusion, he discovered that various tangled bite marks had appeared out of thin air on Wen Leling’s exposed skin, and their numbers were increasing.
His inquisitive gaze moved upward, stopping on the half of the face that was covered. The skin was delicate and smooth, hot and permeated with a thin, wet sweat. It was as if the moment you touched it with your hand, it would suck onto your fingers and not let go. The small protrusion of the Adam’s apple was also red, marked with teeth indentations. Wen Leling tried his best to suppress his heavy breathing, letting out only slight gasps.
Min Chi’s gaze fixed there as if he had fallen into deep thought. The mist in his eyes gathered and then dispersed. “Are you in a combination heat?”
Wen Leling still did not speak.
“I will go buy you a sedative.”
Wen Leling closed his eyes, turning his head away slightly. “Go ahead.”
Leave quickly. Go fast and come back slowly. It will be more comfortable to be left alone.
Min Chi seemed very afraid of delaying the sedative injection. His feet seemed to grow wings as he sprinted out in a flash, disappearing from Wen Leling’s sight. The moment the door clicked shut, Wen Leling suddenly pulled back the quilt.
It was so hot, so stifling. The burning heat made him feel suffocated. Then it turned cold again, as if a chilly loach was squirming through his clothes. The cold air pierced his whole body like needles. He pulled the quilt back over himself, crossing his arms and rubbing his shoulders constantly.
Finally, there was a slight return of warmth, but a violent surge rose in his abdomen without warning. It was heavy. Wen Leling reached out to stroke it gently, only to touch an unusual rise that retreated and advanced in an orderly fashion.
He was completely stunned, as if he had lost his voice, as if he had gone numb. He could neither speak nor react.
Wen Leling closed his eyes, his deep thoughts stalling for a long while. He touched that slightly protruding area, applying pressure with his palm, trying to dissipate that eerie presence. But just as he calmed one spot, a new surge seemed to have been waiting in line, following immediately after.
Something was slowly being accommodated. It was cool, round, and small, staying quietly in the depths. After a while, that presence suddenly vanished, stirring a dense, rain-like chill.
Afterward, the surroundings were trapped in a mysterious silence, as if gasping after a storm. He almost thought this torture had ended, until a violent vibration suddenly surged from within.
Loud rumbling sounds suddenly rang in his eardrums. He uncontrollably tilted his head back and let out a low sigh: “Ah!”
In the silence, the bedroom door opened soundlessly.
